As you progress through Prey, various additional quests will be available to you. Most of them should not cause you any difficulties, since you just need to follow the marker marked on the map and fulfill the specific requirements. However, there are quests, such as Treasure Hunts, where you yourself need to find the right solutions. It is precisely this quest that will be discussed in today’s article.

In order to take the quest Treasure Hunt, go to the location Residential section. Here you need to find the cabins of the crew members. If you are following the storyline, you will need to record samples of Danielle Shaw's speech. In Danielle's cabin, check your email on the terminal. After reading the corresponding letter, you will start the task.

Where to look for treasure maps

  1. To find the first map, you need to go to the Arboretum and search the body of Zechariah West. Many players, including myself, find this map before starting the quest, because the corpse is lying on the way to the Residential Section. In the Arboretum, you need to go down to the exit to the Data Storage location, the body will lie near the door.
  2. You will find Elias Black's map in the recreation center on the second floor of the Residential Section. It will lie on the table.
  3. While in the Residential Section, head to the Fitness Center to find Emma Beatty's Card. Having entered the center, follow the corridor to the right, and then find and search the body near the fire.
  4. To find Danielle Shaw's card, go to the Data Warehouse. Upstairs you will find her office with a terminal, the map is loaded directly from it.

Exploring Treasure Maps

However, the quest is not limited to finding maps. After finding them, you need to guess which place is shown on the maps. Each card shows a path to a wall with one of 4 numbers on it. After all the numbers have been found, you should get the code “1365”.

Note: The reward can only be received if you personally find these places on the map. Each number must be scanned with a psychoscope.

  1. You will find the number “1” in the SAGITTA location, in the Fuel Storage (engineering level B). From the cargo tunnel, follow to the farthest room, the number will be depicted in the corner opposite the gravity lifts.
  2. The number “3” is located in the Life Support location. If you look at the map, the number is to the right of the lowest circle in the water treatment plant.
  3. You will find the number “6” in the Residential section. If you look at the map, the number is in the far left room (with the recycler) from the “Yellow Tulip”. To do this, go up the stairs and turn left.
  4. To find the number “5”, go to the Cargo compartment. If you look at the map, the number is in the lower left corner of the SAGITA Loading Bay.

After all the numbers have been found, go to the Residential Section. Here, find Abigail Foy's cabin, where you need to enter the received code in the terminal utilities. As a reward, you will receive a blueprint for the Adventurer's Arsenal chip, after manufacturing which you will receive good characteristics.

From the Arkane studio it contains many tricky secrets and riddles that gamers will have to solve as they progress. Just a few days after the release, players compiled a list of all the codes and secret passwords from the game.

Previously, Gamebomb.ru wrote that Prey players discovered a serious bug, using which you can

While you're here, open the arboretum's floodgate. This is the third gateway you've unlocked, allowing you access to the arboretum, hardware lab, and psychotronics outside Talos I. The shuttle bay and power plant remain locked. You can continue into the residential section, but there are a few other places worth checking out before leaving the arboretum.

"Mirror"

Exit the data storage area and find the Mirror Station nearby. Dr. Howard is on the roof of this station. Break the Mirror screen to reveal a hidden room containing a first aid kit. Approach this area with caution. There is a shaft just above the first aid kit. Mimics slip through this shaft, taking the form of cardboard boxes. Eliminate the mimics and go up through the shaft. Use your gypsum cannon to create steps.

Path to Alex's office

Usually, you can get to Alex Yu's office using the gravity lift near the data warehouse. But this gravity lift is disabled, requiring the Hacker IV ability to unlock. Fortunately, there is another way. While still on the roof of Mirror Station, pull yourself up onto the ledge and look for a damaged electrical assembly spewing arcs of electricity. Use your plaster gun to seal the panel, allowing you to make repairs.

This gives you the opportunity to search Marietta Kirkos' body without being shocked. Search Marietta's body to obtain a pass to Jada Marks' cabin (living section) and her transcript. Listen to the recording on the transcriptor to activate a new additional task. Continue along this path, under Alex's office. Follow the rocky ledge to the railing, right next to Alex's office.

Alex's office

Enter Alex's office and look around. Alex contacts you, expressing his displeasure that you broke into his office. Search the table to get a Neuromod. Weapon upgrade kit on the table. Alex's terminal is password protected and requires hacking (Hacker IV). There is nothing interesting on the terminal yet. However, you will want to access it later.

In front of the maintenance hatch that leads to the secret compartment containing Alex's safe is a large box. The box can be removed if you have the Lift II ability. You can also use Mimicry I to turn yourself into a small object, such as the coffee mug on Alex's desk. Converting to a small object allows you to fit into the gap between the drawer and the access panel.

After searching Alex's office, go out and climb the nearest stairs leading to the roof. From here you can see Alex's escape pod. You will need to get to Alex's terminal to activate the bridge leading to the escape pod. You can do this later if you decide to follow December's directive and leave the station. Now return to the beginning of your journey through the arboretum (Sagitta loading bay). It's time to make Dr. Howard's fertilizer.

Instead of heading straight to the living quarters, head to Sagitta's loading bay. Here you can make Dr. Howard's growth formula at the fabricator, and then use the resulting bag of fertilizer to create an experimental tomato.

Return to the Experimental Plant Garden where you first found the note from Dr. Howard. Interact with the fertilizer distributor. Move Dr. Howard's Growth Formula from your inventory to the Fertilizer Dispenser. Then activate the distributor by pressing the illuminated button. This turns on the sprinkler control system and delivers a mixture of water and fertilizer to the plant.

It will take exactly ten minutes for the fruit to ripen. Explore other areas of the arboretum while you wait, or head to the residential section. No one will steal your fruit, and you can pick it up later. If you are left, after ten minutes have passed, collect Dr. Howard's grown superfruit to complete this task. Eating the superfruit is necessary if you want to unlock the achievement/trophy - Transstar Gourmet. However, in addition to this, you will need to try all the food and drinks on board Talos 1 to get the achievement.

JFK bench

Before you leave the arboretum, check out this bench dedicated to John F. Kennedy and take a moment to read book 4 of the Star Conqueror series - this will get you closer to earning the Master of the Prism achievement/trophy.

Residential section: foyer

It's time to visit the residential section in an attempt to find samples of Danielle Shaw's voice. Only after this can you return to the arboretum and access the data storage. Go down the stairs to the entrance to the living section. There may be a phantom wandering around here if you haven't eliminated it first. Find Lizzie Colton's body on the floor in front of the door to the living area. Build a blueprint for 12 gauge cartridges. There are also Russian pancakes on the floor behind the fountain. When you're done searching this area, enter the door leading to the living section.

Residential section

Foyer

Immediately after entering the residential section, be careful and sit down. Several crew members wander around here under mind control. If you are spotted, these victims will run towards you and their heads will explode. Grab your Stunner and try to take out these crew members as you make your way to the nearest medical bay. The Stunner has a very limited range, so you have to sneak pretty close. Once electrocuted, victims are rendered unconscious, posing no risk to you or themselves. As you move through the lobby, a voice is heard over the speakers, activating a new side mission.

Nightmare

If you haven't encountered Typhon Nightmare in the Arboretum, then there is a good chance that you will encounter him at the entrance to the residential section. The abundance of enemies makes fighting the nightmare here extremely difficult. Try not to let him notice you, and after 20 minutes the nightmare will leave this place (but will return).

Medical bay

The door to the medical bay is barricaded with crates - you can move them if you have the Lift I ability. Otherwise, consider using Mimicry I to turn yourself into a small object, then slip through the cracks in the makeshift barricade. A scavenging grenade can also work great. Inside you can find a first aid kit and a blueprint for an anti-radiation device. If you are injured, contact a medical operator for treatment before leaving the medical bay.

Concierge

Important:
  • Code: Fitness center
  • Audio Diary: Bring Me Food

Return to the lobby and try to avoid any infected crew members. An ethereal phantom also lurks here. If you are spotted, be prepared to draw your K-beam gun. Sneak behind the concierge desk to gain access to the security terminal. Here you can download a map of the residential section, as well as collect some information for the additional task Truth-Teller. Be sure to read the email to receive the code to the fitness center.

Post office

A post office is available next to the concierge desk. You can hack the door if you have the Hacker II ability. Otherwise, find the code in Anders Kline's living pod located at the end of the B crew quarters hallway. Inside the mailroom, find Leah Macy's body and search the adjacent shelves. Collect three neuromods, a weapon upgrade kit, and several boxes of shotgun ammo.

Recreational center

Then carefully cross the lobby to enter the recreation center. This two-story room was used as a resting and gathering place for the Talos 1 crew. It now appears to be abandoned. Access the operations terminal in the first teleconferencing desk to receive an audio diary from Earth, in which one of the crew members is wished a happy birthday.

Continue exploring the recreation center and pick up your Stunner. There may be some infected crew members wandering the corridors here, so be prepared to take them out. When you approach a large TV, the screen begins to flicker and objects fly through the air, which is a sign of a poltergeist typhon.

Typhon poltergeists are invisible creatures that appear briefly when their typhonic abilities are used. Scan him with your psychoscope when he appears. Scanning a poltergeist makes it easy to track once it becomes invisible. Poltergeists can deal heavy damage by throwing large objects and lifting you into the air with their Lift Field ability. If a poltergeist throws you towards the ceiling, use your Artax propulsion system to avoid falling damage. Your wrench is most effective against poltergeists. Wait for it to appear, then quickly hit it a few times. Use the psychoscope to monitor the Typhon's movements.

After destroying the poltergeist, go up the stairs of the recreation center to reach the second floor. Beware of the Mimics hiding here. The large table is on the second floor. It appears that the Doom Fortress game was interrupted by a Typhon attack. Pick up Elias Black's transcript to listen to the recording of the game session. The audio recording contains a sample of Danielle Shaw's voice, which increases processing by up to 20%. You will need to find more samples of Shaw's voice to access the data storage. In addition, on the table you can find a pass to Abigail Foy's cabin, as well as character sheets belonging to Elias Black, Emma Beatty, Zachary West and Danielle Shaw. Pick up the note next to Elias Black's Transcriptor to reveal Mechetyk's Treasure Map. This will come in handy when you start the Treasure Hunt side quest.

Step out onto the second floor balcony of the recreation center, overlooking the lobby. Brett Seidel's body is located next to the broken turret. Repair the turret and take it with you. Jump over the railing, then use your propulsion system to slow your descent.

Crew cabins B

With the turret in hand, cross the foyer and enter the B crew quarters corridor. This is where Danielle Shaw's cabin is located, where you will find more voice samples. Deploy the turret at the entrance to the corridor and move slowly forward until you notice the phantom that was once Ivy Song. Retreat and let the turret eliminate this phantom. If necessary, provide support with a gypsum gun, slowing down the phantom's movement. Afterwards, check the remains to collect Ivy's things.

Jorgen Thorstein's cabin

If you found Jorgen Thorstein's pass in the hardware lab, you can use it here to go to Thorstein's cabin (first door on the left). Here you can find a blueprint for a disposal grenade, a chip for a psychoscope, and an exotic material.

Sylvain Bellamy's cabin

Hendrik Devries's cabin

The door to Hendrik Devries' cabin is unlocked. Go inside and check the supplies. Here you will find the body of Matthias Kohl sitting in a chair. It has several suit repair kits, an injector and a first aid kit. On the bed is a drawing of an anti-radiation device.

Danielle Shaw's cabin

The door to Danielle Shaw's cabin is unlocked. Read the note. This is a message from Abigail Foy regarding some of Danielle's things. Based on this note and numerous others found inside, Danielle Shaw was in a loving relationship with Abigail Foy. Grab the Neuromod on the table, then enter the terminal. In the Files tab, download the archived conversation to access Danielle's audio diary, which further enhances the voice synthesis progress. Read the email messages on the terminal to find out Dr. Calvino's password and also receive a new optional task. There is also a letter from Skye Braxton that mentions a transcriptor located in Skye's habitation pod - that might be worth checking out.

Danielle's broken transcript lies on the floor next to the bed. Fix the transcript to get two audio diaries, each containing Danielle's voice. Listen to both recordings (Dear Future 1 and Dear Future 2) to collect more voice samples.

Abigail Foy's cabin

Use the pass you received at the recreation center to enter Abigail Foy's cabin. Inside you can collect neuromods and some flexipene darts. Check under Foy's desk to get a note with her password. Use your password to log into the terminal. On the "Files" tab, you can download the dart design, as well as the audio diary.

Listen to the audio of "Get Out" to get another sample of Danielle's voice. The note on Abigail's desk is an invitation to an event at the Yellow Tulip, located on the second floor. Apparently Danielle and Sky Braxton performed there.

Cabin of Lorenzo Calvino

Use the pass you received from Dr. Calvino's workshop to enter his quarters. Access the terminal and download four separate audio diaries. The recordings contain personal notes that describe the doctor's hallucinations and deteriorating memory. Listen to the third recording to get the code to Calvino's safe. The safe is located behind the Mirror screen (turn off Mirror to find it). Break the screen with your adjustable wrench to gain access to the safe, which contains three Neuromods inside. You can also find an EM charge on the table next to the bed.

Fitness center code

If you don't already have the code for the fitness center, you can find it at the end of the corridor in Crew B. Look for the note on the bench in the toilet.

Crew living capsules

Assemble your turret and move it to the habitation pod room at the end of the corridor. Immediately deploy the turret near the doorway and watch for paranormal activity. Wait for the poltergeist to reveal itself and then open fire with your shotgun. The turret will most likely be attacked by a poltergeist, so be prepared to relocate the turret if necessary. Given the combined firepower of the turret and your pistol, the poltergeist won't last long.

Once the poltergeist is destroyed, search the habitation capsules. Start with the Anders Kline block (nameplates are attached next to each capsule). Here you will find a note that reveals the code to the post office located next to the concierge. If you haven't already searched the post office, make this place a priority - there are three neuromods waiting for you there.

In Skye Braxton's capsule, take the transcript to download the audio diary (I Can Sight Play) containing Danielle's voice. This was recorded prior to their musical performance at Yellow Tulip. Skye used the Neuromod to learn to play a musical instrument in preparation for Alex's party. Listening to the recording takes you one step closer to fully synthesizing Danielle's voice.

Gift for lover

Objective Description: Lawrence Baxter left a gift for his beloved Ellie Gold under the rocks near the tree he carved their initials into at the arboretum. This gift is worth finding - perhaps there is something useful there. Searching for Ellie using the security terminal might lead me to the right place.

Lawrence Baxter's capsule is located just above Skye's capsule. To reach it, use your gypsum cannon to create plaster steps on the wall directly opposite the Baxter Pod. You will find a transcript in the capsule containing a conversation between Ellie Gold and Lawrence Baxter. Listen to the audio diary (Birthday Meeting) to trigger this additional task. You can return to the task once you return to the arboretum.

Go to the last row of habitation capsules and look here for supplies and interesting items. You can find Emma Beatty's Doom character sheet in her capsule, but no trace of her treasure map. Harley Granger's capsule contains an interesting journal entry that describes his past as a professional baseball player. There is also a rather alarming note from Redgina Sellers - her child has nightmares about typhons. Before leaving this area, be sure to search the various lockers to collect supplies, including ammo and food.

Cafeteria

Return to the lobby and go to the cafeteria. Don't take the turret with you into the cafeteria, as there are several infected crew members inside. You don't want these victims to get caught in the crossfire. Before you enter, look for the bodies of Patricia Wang and Joseph McSorley near the entrance. The Stunner is located next to Patricia Wang's body. There might be an Ethereal Phantom near the cafeteria, so be ready to grab the K-Beam Gun.

Sneak into the cafeteria without being noticed. Use the Stunner to incapacitate infected crew members who get too close. All of them are under the control of a telepath. In the cafeteria, Chef Will Mitchell says through the loudspeaker that he will talk to you if you eliminate all threats.

Cook's request (continued)

If you want to continue this side quest, you will have to destroy all the enemies in the cafeteria. Instead of tracking down every crew member under mind control, focus your attention on the telepath. Take the K-beam gun and reload it (using any available weapon upgrades will also help). Stay hidden and keep your head down until you have a good view of the telepath. Open fire with the K-Beam Thrower and concentrate a stream of unstable particles into the telepath until he explodes. After killing a telepath, all his victims will lose consciousness.

Now that the cafeteria is free of Typhons, go to the window in the kitchen to talk to Will Mitchell. Despite your success, the chef is still skeptical. But he will let you into the kitchen if you bring the reward from his cabin. Take the pass to Will Mitchell's cabin and return to the foyer. The cook's quarters are located in crew quarters wing A.

Crew cabins A

Take the turret and go to the corridor of crew quarters A. Will Mitchell's cabin is located at the very end. Deploy your turret at the entrance to the corridor and start exploring. Note the large box on the left side that is partially blocking the channel leading to Sarah Elazar's cabin. If you have the Lift II ability, you can move the box. Alternatively, use Mimicry I to transform yourself into a small object, such as a towel on a nearby cart. This allows you to squeeze into the small gap between the drawer and the channel.

Sarah Elazar's cabin

Follow the small channel to Sarah Elazar's cabin and go through the glass behind the decorative tree to enter. Take the silenced pistol and shotgun from the weapons cabinet next to the bed. Also find a weapon upgrade kit and ammo hidden in a suitcase by the table. If you have the Hacker II ability, you can access Sarah's terminal. Here you can download a blueprint for a weapon upgrade kit. There are also some interesting emails on the terminal, including one from Alex regarding Ekaterina Ilyushina. Alex is afraid that she poses a security risk and doesn't want to let her near the labs. When you're done searching the cabin, open the door and return to the hallway.

Jada Marx's cabin

Jada Marks' cabin is located directly across from Sarah Elazar's. Use the pass you got from Marietta Kirkos at the arboretum to unlock the door. Inside you can get some pistol ammo, as well as a chip for a psychoscope. There is also a safe here that can be hacked if you have the Hacker IV ability. Or simply use the code provided in the Marietta Kirkos transcript entry.

Hans Kelstrup's cabin

Next, enter Hans Kelstrup's cabin using the pass from his body found in the psychotronics. Other than Typhon bait, a few petri dishes, and some snacks, there's nothing to take here. Strangely, Kelstrup's cabin is filled with many vessels containing organs. Some letters on his terminal indicate that Kelstrup had some kind of agreement with Will Mitchell about canned pears. What's going on here?

Dayo Igwe's cabin

The door to Dayo Igwe's cabin is unlocked. Go inside and find a neuromod and a suit chip. If you have the Hacker II ability, you can access Igwe's terminal. On the “Files” tab, upload the injector drawing.

Cabin of Ekaterina Ilyushina

The door to Ekaterina Ilyushina's cabin is broken, but you can get through. Use the Mimicry I ability to transform yourself into a small object, such as the mug or glass from Dayo Igwe's cabin. This allows you to slip through the hole in the door. Letters on Ilyushina's terminal show that she was in contact with Annalisa Gallegos. This was probably why Alex was suspicious of her. Other messages in the mail indicate that she had difficulty gaining access to various parts of Talos 1 due to her lack of security clearance. Ilyushina was interested in volunteers in psychotronics, which made her a likely accomplice of Annalisa Gallegos.

Ghost Hunt

Before entering Will Mitchell's cabin, take your turret and take it to the toilet at the end of the hall. Two poltergeists settled here. Deploy your turret and load your shotgun. Poltergeists will soon reveal themselves. Watch the faucets turn on and the doors swing open and close. Open fire as soon as the poltergeists show themselves and try to scan them with your psychoscope while they are visible. If you find yourself lifted into the air, be sure to activate your propulsion system to slow your descent.

Will Mitchell's cabin

Will Mitchell's cabin is directly opposite the toilet. Use the pass given by Mitchell to open the door. Pick up the transcript on the table to get an audio diary (Operator Frying Pan) containing Danielle Shaw's voice. You just have to find one more sample to synthesize Shaw's voice. Hack Mitchell's terminal and read his letters to get the code to the Director's Apartment. With its help, you activate the gravity lift leading to Morgan and Alex's apartment.

Kitchen

Jump over the counter in the cafeteria and enter the adjacent doorway to gain access to a small room. Note the traces of blood covering the floor and walls. Something is wrong here. The door to the kitchen is still closed, but you can hear Mitchell bustling around inside. Wait a few seconds, then enter.

The kitchen contains, as expected, a lot of food items, but also other items, including a turret and a couple of disposal grenades. The fabricator of the residential section is also located here. Mitchell is assisted in his culinary duties by a custom operator named Frying Pan. As you look around the kitchen, Will Mitchell is complaining about the broken water pressure regulator.

After fixing the water pressure regulator, Will Mitchell will agree to give you access to the freezer. But there's something wrong with this guy. Wait for Mitchell to open the freezer door to receive the code. But don't go in yet. Take out your Stunner and fire it at Will Mitchell. You'll thank yourself later. Search Mitchell's body to get two Neuromods and a pass to the kitchen.

Cook-pretender

As you realize later, this "cook" is actually an impostor. If you enter the freezer, it will lock you inside and then constantly taunt you through the loudspeakers while you explore Talos 1. To make matters worse, he sets up traps of disposable grenades throughout the station. So it’s better to stop it right in the kitchen. The tracking bracelet for the real Will Mitchell is in the bloody box inside the freezer.

Freezer

Open the sliding door to the next storage area for a shocking new discovery. Here you will find the bodies of Chloe Burgess and Kevin Sabian, apparent victims of the impostor. In this vault, grab some K-Beam Thrower ammo, a suit chip, and three Neuromods before exiting.

Find the last storage compartment in the freezer. Here lies the body of Abigail Foy, another victim of the fake cook. Search Foy's body to obtain a transcript containing a recording (Knock on the Window) from Danielle Shaw. Unable to contact Abigail, Danielle asks her to come to the fitness center. If you are trapped in a freezer, the maintenance hatch in this room behind the ice block is your way out. Open the hatch and then use the Mimicry I ability to turn yourself into one of the nearby pizza boxes. This allows you to slip into the gap between the ice block and the open channel. Alternatively, you can remove a block blocking passage if you have the Climb II ability. The third option is to use a disposal grenade. But the easiest way is to shoot at the gas pipe in the corner. The fire will melt the ice block, after which you can return to the kitchen.

A fitness center

Leave the kitchen and head towards the entrance to the fitness center. Enter the code you retrieved from the terminal at the concierge desk. Like the cafeteria, the fitness center is filled with crew members under the control of a telepath. Use the Stunner shocker to incapacitate the people attacking you.

The telepath is most likely located next to the pool. When you get a good overview, use the K-Beam Thrower and focus the beam on the Typhon until it explodes. After the kill, all crew members controlled by the telepath will lose consciousness.

Prey contains dozens of tasks that you can complete. Some, where you need to save or get rid of survivors, affect the ending of the game. Others, like Treasure Hunt, are optional but useful. You won't be able to find the treasure without all four cards.

Two clarifications on using the guide

Firstly, if you are a player who doesn't like solved puzzles, but you need a nudge in the right direction. Each section will tell you where to find the treasure map and give you a clue. If you don't want to know the solution, don't read it.

Secondly, when you find all four cards and solve their riddles, you will receive a code. Don’t try to cheat by finding out somewhere the code to go straight to the place with the treasure: if you don’t solve the clues and don’t register each number, the game will detect the cheating and punish you by lowering the brightness of the flashlight and slowing down the scanning speed.

How to use treasure maps

These cards belong to members of the Fatal Fortress gaming clan. Each shows the location of one key. Collecting all the cards and solving their riddles leads to the treasure.

How to start a treasure hunt

The hunt begins in the Crew Quarters. Look on Danielle Shaw's computer for an email titled "Treasure Hunt." Reading the email will add a task to your active missions and explain the backstory of the treasure hunt if you're interested.

Treasure map for Hordinbuff Flagdasterus (Zachary West)

Where to find: go to the first floor of the Arboretum and go to the airlock. Find the body of Zachary West and search it to find the map. Look it up. The clue points to a large room with three circular objects.

Solution: remember the water treatment plant in the life support bay? The facility, located on level B2, has three large circular tanks. Go to the object, then turn to face the place indicated on the map - this is a wall with a number. Record the number with the psychoscope so that the game registers it in your mission log.

Treasure map for Mechetyk (Elias Black)

Where to find: return to the Crew Quarters and climb into the recreation center on level 2. Find a large table with a Fatal Fortress screen looming above it. You will find the card on the table, next to the character sheet. Look at the map and notice that it points to a square room on the second level of the area.

Solution: salvage room in the crew quarters, west of the Yellow Tulip. Enter the room and find a large number printed on the wall. Scan until the game adds it to your mission log.

Treasure map for Rosaleen Swift (Emma Beatty)

Where to find: The owner of this treasure map, Emma Beatty, is still alive. She hangs out on the first floor of Crew Quarters A, in the fitness center area. This is good news. The bad news - or maybe not, depending on which ending you go for - is that she's mind controlled. Do what you need to do to get the card from her. (If she dies, part of the map will be covered in blood)

Solution: Go to the 1st level of the cargo bay (Cargo Bay) and head to the southwest corner to the SAGITTA loading bay. Scan the number written on the wall next to the container.

Melindra Shadowconer's Treasure Map (Daniel Shaw)

Where to find: get this card by getting to level 2 of the Data Storage and giving access to Danielle's computer. You need to get to the control center, which is guarded by several mimics hanging around and a thermophantom. Sneak up, get rid of them, or use the turret to get rid of them all at once.

This article will cover all the steps you need to take to complete all the side missions in Prey (2017). Some of the simplest tasks were described in separate articles devoted to finding a crew.

SIDE QUEST “VANISHING CORPSE”

Where to get it: neuromod department.

To start this mission, go to the offices after you see the mimic killing Gavrilovic (search Jovan Gavrilovic's corpse) in the neuromod department. At the first table on the left there is a terminal - read the letter called “Urgent!” You will learn about some body, and this will begin an additional task. We will immediately describe its passage, but note that in order to complete the mission, you will have to visit other locations.

Go to the Talos Hall 1 location and go to the emergency room (the key card is below, on the counter in front of the corridor leading to the shuttle bay). Take the beacon bracelet from the table marked with a marker, and also read the letter “Wounded on the way.” The task will be updated.

The next goal is the psychotronics laboratory. When you are at the glass chamber with the corpse, which the Weaver will turn into a phantom, then go down on the gravity lift and in the far part you will see the morgue. Wait for the operator to fly inside, or break the glass and shoot a dart at the button near the door. Search the corpse of Dr. Sylvain Bellamy to obtain the key card to Bellamy's quarters. When you are in the residential section, simply look into the doctor's cabin to complete the quest. Inside you will find 3 neuromods.

SIDE QUEST “WHO ARE YOU, DECEMBER?”

You activate this quest according to the plot. At a certain point in the game, “December” will contact you and say that you left him a message - you need to leave Talos-1. This is one of the alternate endings, after which the normal loading from the last checkpoint occurs.

Go to the neuromod department and talk to “December”. In the briefing room opposite Morgan Yu's apartment (at the beginning of the game), there is a suitcase on the cabinet on the left. Search it to make sure the key card is not there (if you haven't already). Go again to the meeting place with “December” and you will see that “January” has destroyed it (if you searched the suitcase earlier, this will happen immediately upon returning to the neuromod department). Search the remains of operator “December” and from the note you will find out the code to the safe in Alex Yu’s office.

When you find yourself at the Arboretum location, follow the same path as described when taking on the Golden Gun quest. From here, find a point where you can climb higher, to Alex Yu's office. Of course, you can hack the gravity lift, but you need skill level 4.

At the top, move the box (climb-II skill) and open the security hatch to find a safe behind the wall. By entering the code, pick up Alex Yu's transcript and the key card to Alex Yu's apartment.

Once in the living quarters, activating the elevator and going upstairs to the directors' apartment, go to Alex's apartment and under the globe on the bedside table find the key card required for the quest.

Now return to the arboretum and go up to Alex Yu's office. There is a terminal here - if you hack it, a bridge will extend. The terminal requires "Hack-IV". Alexa will still give you the code later. Go into the capsule (if you're smart, you can reach it without a bridge) and start the evacuation. Watch one of the endings. Next to the capsule is Alex Yu's beacon bracelet.

SIDE QUEST “STOLEN NEUROMODS”

Where to get it: note from the interrogation room in the security office in the Talos-1 lobby.

In the interrogation room of the security office there is a table with a note. Read it to accept the quest. To complete it, just go up to the teleconference center (you will get there through the storyline) and walk along the bridge to the sales department. There are 4 neuromods lying under the desk of Yumi’s office. The quest is completed.

SIDE QUEST “HOLE HOLE”

When you find yourself outside Talos-1, having got out there from the hardware laboratory, fly to the corpse of Dr. Calvino. Repair the sparkling panel to the left of the door, then return to the hardware lab. Take the gravity lift and go inside the wave laboratory. Quest completed!

There will be a terminal with information on the Blackbox project. This will begin the side quest “Project Blackbox”.

SIDE QUEST “PROJECT BLACKBOX”

Where to get it: study the data in the terminal of the wave physics laboratory at the Hardware Laboratory location.

To complete the task and at the same time break through the last door of the wave physics laboratory, you need to find the corpse of Josh Dalton. You will do this at the SAGITTA location (read the article on the SAGITTA location).

SIDE QUEST “THE LOVER OF TRUTH”

Where to get it: at the Psychotronics Laboratory location, find the corpse of Annalisa Gallegos with a transcriptor. Listen to the recording to begin the mission.

This task is activated after you listen to one of the recordings on Annalisa Gallegos's transcript in her office in the psychotronics laboratory. When you find yourself in the residential section, follow the marker and pick up the “Surveillance Request: Annalisa Gallegos” transcript from the corpse of Maria Fowles.

Go to the terminal on the first floor near the gravity lift (concierge desk) and move the surveillance files. Next, when you find yourself in the cargo compartment and follow the story into the room with containers, do not look for the one you need here. The container in which Quinten Purvis wanted to escape is located in the next spacious room directly opposite the door.

Container with the corpse of Quinten Purvis.

Searching him will complete the quest.

SIDE QUEST “DISHAPPY EMPLOYEE”

Where to get it: the next additional task is taken in the process of listening to the transcriptor Jia Kyun-Ho, whose corpse you will find immediately after the transition from SAGITTA to the arboretum.

Continue it to the data warehouse. When you are near Danielle Shaw's terminal at the top, go to the other terminal on the left and enter the number of Grant Lockwood's beacon bracelet - 1129 (or something like that, indicated in the description of the task). Activate his beacon, then select Grant Lockwood to track at any terminal in the security office. Go outside Talos 1 and follow the marker until you find the corpse of Grant Lockwood.

Grant Lockwood's corpse.

SIDE QUEST “DO NO HARM”

Where to get it: after listening to the recording from Devris’ transcript (on his corpse near the main elevator, if you enter from the arboretum).

To complete it, take the elevator down to the Talos-1 hall, go to the emergency room and use the key card to open the door to Devries’ office. From the terminal, download the decryption key, open your inventory, go to the “Data” section and select the “Morgan: Hysterical” audio diary. Press Enter to listen to it again.

You will hear some kind of code combination - A, C, B, A, C. Go to the next office of Matthias Kohl and run the test from his terminal. Go to the terminal at the table on the left and answer the test questions in exactly the same order as written above - ACBAC. A safe will appear from which you can get 3 neuromods and Matthias Kohl's transcript “Audio Recording of the Session: Morgan Yu”.

Hidden safe in Matthias Kohl's office.

SIDE QUEST “SMUGGLERS ON TALOS”

Where to get it: After listening to Lilly Morris' transcript in the arboretum hallway leading to the main elevator.

The corpse of Lilly Morris.

You need to find 6 points where smugglers have hidden resources. They are all located inside safes hidden behind red fire alarms. To open them, you need to knock on them three times. But there are more than six alarms on Talos 1. Therefore, you need to recognize those behind which contraband is actually hidden. And this is easy to do - a red light is on above them. Here is the location of all the cargo:

1. On the wall directly above the corpse of Lilly Morris in the arboretum, where the quest starts.

First cache.

2. In the Talos-1 hall on the first floor there is an exhibition hall - on the wall near one of the doorways.

Second cache.

3. In the Talos-1 hall, go to the restrooms on the first floor, but before them, turn into the corridor on the left. On the wall to the right, high up.

4. In the hardware laboratory, go to the atrium with the gravity lift and go upstairs. There is a circular bridge and near one of the walls there is a large statue on a stone pedestal. There is an alarm with a light on the wall.

5. In the living quarters, go to the fitness center and turn right along the corridor to find a cache on the wall.

Fifth cache.

6. In the cargo hold, go upstairs on the gravity lift and enter the room with Dr. Igwe (if you saved him) and Alisa Musaeva sitting on the floor. Look on the wall on the left.

The last cache.

Quest completed!

SIDE QUEST “COK’S REQUEST”

Where to get it: when you find yourself in the “Residential Section” location, you will hear a monologue from the cook. The quest will begin soon.

Cook Will Mitchell.

You need to kill the telepath in the cafeteria and neutralize or kill the infected people. After this, go to the indicated window and talk to the cook. He will give you the key card to Will Mitchell's cabin. Go to the cabin and open it. Find the reward for the best cook on the cabinet and give it to the quest giver.

Enter the kitchen through the side door. The cook will ask you to repair the water supply. If you have not yet selected the required part, then return to the Arboretum location and find it in the greenhouse on one of the tables.

Water pressure regulator from the greenhouse.

Reinstall. The cook will open the freezer. Enter and they will lock you in. Find a way out by moving the ice floes or melting them with fire (shoot the pipe from the side). In the refrigerator you will find two corpses behind the far right door and one corpse near the ice floe blocking the security hatch. You will also find a beacon. Get out of here to complete the quest.

SIDE QUEST “TREASURE HUNT”

Where to get it: read the letter in Danielle Shaw's terminal (in her cabin in the residential section). You need to find four parts of the map:

1. The first one will be found on the corpse of Zechariah West in the Arboretum location at the transition point to the data warehouse.

Treasure map of Zechariah Vesta.

2. Emma Beatty's second treasure map can be found on her body in the hallway of the fitness center, in the place where the fire is coming out of the pipes.

3. Elias Black's treasure map is located in the recreation center, on a table on the second floor.

Elias Black's Treasure Map.

4. Danielle Shaw's map can be found in the Data Warehouse location. Go up to the second floor and download the map from the terminal in the command center.

Now you need to go to the places shown on each card and find four numbers.

– The map of Hordinbafl (Zachary West) shows a water treatment plant in the life support sector. Go to the far left corner and look for the number "3" on the wall. Part of the quest will be counted automatically when you are close to the number.

Number "3".

Location on the map.

– Rosaleen's map points to the cargo bay. In the cargo bay, go to the door leading to the life support department. Facing it, turn to the right and look for the number “5” on the wall further than the container.

Number "5".

– Mechetyk’s map leads to a room with a waste disposal unit in the residential section. Go to the entrance door to this location and go up the stairs on the right as you look at it. Turn into the room on the left and look at the number "6" directly opposite the door.

Number "6".

– The last map will lead you to SAGITTA. Go to this location through the arboretum. It will be easier! Fly down the mine where the fuel storage is located. Go inside and jump over the destroyed bridge. Ahead will be the entrance to the shuttle bay. In the right corner, on the wall opposite the gravity lifts is the number “1”. Look at her for the quest to count.

Number "1".

When all the numbers have been found and the tasks are marked as completed, then go back to the residential section. Go to Abigail Foy's cabin and enter the code "1365" in the terminal. You will receive a blueprint for the "Adventurer's Arsenal" as a reward. If you make this at a fabricator, you will receive a chip for the suit, which provides several benefits. More details in the screenshot. Quest completed!

Functions of the Adventurer's Arsenal chip.

SIDE QUEST “A GIFT TO YOUR LOVED”

Where to get it: listen to the audio recording on Lawrence Baxter's transcript in the residential section (read the article on this location).

The lounger where the transcript for taking the quest is located.

Go to the Arboretum location and go to the fountain. A little further from him lies the corpse of a woman - it was Baxter who prepared the gift for her. The corpse lies under a tree with initials. Find a rock next to the tree that you can move. Under the stone you will find the key card to storage room A2. Enter the storage room to complete the quest. After killing the phantom, you will be able to search the last corpse in the Lawrence Baxter location.
