To "drag" in the game just to craft a "item" is not enough, it is still necessary to carry out some manipulations with its characteristics and squeeze out additional bonuses, in other words - to make an upgrade. How to do this will be described in this guide.
You can put 12 things on the character: main and secondary weapons, helmet, bib, pants, gloves, boots, necklace, two rings and earrings, and all this needs to be improved and pumped.

Some types of equipment are available only for a certain class. For example, the mage and druid wear only cloth armor (clothing), while the Shooter and Reaper prefer leather armor, and the Guardian and Knight wear metal.

Quality levels

All items of equipment have several quality levels: name color, rating and rank. In order to display a more detailed description of an item, you need to move the cursor over its icon and press the "Shift" key.

Equipment color allows you to quickly and relatively accurately determine the quality of the item. From lowest to highest: gray (or white), green, blue, purple, and gold. In addition, in the near future there will be another color - orange.

  • White equipment is rubbish that should not be emphasized.
  • Green things can be obtained for killing monsters in the open world, as well as by completing dungeons.
  • Blue items can be obtained as a reward for completing some quests.
  • Things purple colors, like blue, are obtained by killing monsters in the open world or dungeons, but for this you need to destroy bosses. Also, these items can be bought for city reputation, honor points, as well as for reputation points in the Order of the Guardians.
  • The most valuable (at the moment) is gold equipment. And it is on it that you should spend most of your money, improving it in every possible way. Gold-colored items can be purchased for honor points if your character has reached the desired PvP rank, or for reputation points in the Order of the Guardians.
  • Equipment orange level cannot be bought, you can only craft it yourself.
Rank- a fixed value that affects the level of maximum pumping (the higher the rank, the higher the possible level of sharpening), and also limits the use of inlay stones.

Equipment rating- dynamically changeable, from the level of sharpening, inserted stones of inlay and awakenings, characteristic. Therefore, it is incorrect to compare two pieces of equipment based on the equipment rating alone.

Equipment parameters

In order to assess the quality of a particular part or a game, it is necessary to carefully study the parameters of the equipment. They, like objects, are color coded:
  • White options- these are basic, such as weapon damage or armor protection.
  • Green options can be very different and not always necessary, but they can be changed.
  • Blue options like white ones, they cannot be changed and, to some extent, they can also be called basic and defining things.
  • Purple parameter, is initially unavailable and will be grayed out. This parameter is activated when accumulating equipment experience and awakening... It is worth noting that instead of such a parameter, there may be some kind of effect on the equipment. For example, when dealing damage, there is a 10% chance to get a buff to increase attack power and the like.
The outfit has nests for stones inlay they are both open and closed. The latter can be unlocked.

At the top right is displayed sharpening level, and under the quality of improvement - additional reinforcement obtained at certain levels of sharpening. Also, things can be set, i.e. give additional bonuses if you equip items from the same set.

After equipping, the equipment becomes personal, as a result of which you cannot sell or exchange an item. To return the possibility of exchange, you can use the "Release Amulet", which can be bought from merchants for 20 thousand coins.

Items of equipment, as well as wings, tend to lose their strength and break. It can be repaired by any ordinary merchant.

Sharpening (Strengthening) equipment

All items, except for amulets and bracteate, can be enhanced with whetstones. They can be obtained, for example, from chests as a reward for PVP activity, knocked out during a hunt for monsters, exchanged for phantom pearls, or bought for a reputation as mentorship or bronze feathers.


In addition to the stones, you will also need the help of the NPC "Improve equipment" (blacksmith), above whose head there is a special icon in the form of a hammer and an anvil.

There are 16 levels of sharpening in total - the higher the level of the item being improved, the more of these levels are available for it. At each level, the characteristics of items increase by several percent (3-5%). Each level of sharpening has its own chance of success, which depends on the amount of money invested. By adding sharpening stones, it can be brought to 100%.


Regardless of the amount of resources spent, the sharpening result will still be random. By improving a thing by +1, the increase in characteristics can be different. In this case, the sharpening levels are painted in different colors (green - the maximum increase, yellow - medium, red - small). In order to be guaranteed to get the maximum increase, it is necessary to sharpen equipment with a 300 +% probability.

At certain levels of enchantment (for the first time at +5, then at +9 and +12), in addition to an increase to the basic parameter of a thing, an additional strengthening of a random parameter will appear. Amplification can be of different quality, from the poorest (green) to the best (gold). The additional gain can also be changed until the player needs a good quality parameter.

Sharpening transfer

If you want to change the equipment of your character, but you are sorry to lose the level of improvement received for the old equipment, then you can transfer the sharpening to a new set of equipment. To complete this task, you will need to find an NPC gunsmith, and also have some money in your wallet. The process of transferring improvements can be done for free, but in this case one level of improvements will be lost.

Equipment experience and awakening

Under the name of a thing, you can find a strip of experience and 4 levels of awakening. Experience is pumped along with the character and, when the scale is filled, the purple parameter is activated. At the same time, it becomes possible to awaken this thing, which increases absolutely all parameters of equipment.

You can call the wake up window in the action menu (by default, the "N" key).


To awaken, you will need True Copper, which can be found during the Monster Hunt PvE event or when completing dungeons, and can also be purchased with a mentoring reputation, bronze guardians, or bronze feathers.

During the awakening process, you may notice that the fourth level of awakening is blocked (displayed as a lock). To open it, you need an item "Kai Ling Zhu" and an NPC, to which the auto-path will lead us if we right-click on the item. After unlocking, we repeat the same operations as for the first three.

Changing equipment parameters (reforging)

Reforging will require the materials that were required to synthesize this equipment, as well as the Reforging NPC. Some of the materials can be replaced with the "Reforging Basics" scrolls, which can be obtained by converting gold equipment. You can break not only gold equipment, but also the rest. The result can be small amounts of taels and True Copper. However, remember that after the transformation, the item is destroyed.

You can change the additional gain at the same NPC whose equipment is being sharpened.

For this we need quartz sharpening stones and luck, because, as already mentioned in the chapter "Equipment sharpening", additional reinforcement can be of different quality, from the worst (green) to the best (gold).

Synthesis of weapons, armor and decorations

Synthesis creates one of the best equipment at the current level.
You can try synthesis for the first time during the orange quest in the Lake Village. For this, the player will have all the necessary resources, and the result will be a golden weapon.

In the future, synthesis will have to be dealt with independently. It will be possible to create primary and secondary weapons from the same NPC from whom you learned synthesis. Armor and jewelry are synthesized by the NPC that is nearby.


The resources for synthesis are very diverse. For example, to synthesize gold equipment of level 46-49 in large quantities, you will need true copper and resources, which can be bought for bronze guardians and Dawn Powder.


Dawn Powder is exchanged for Dawn Scroll, which is located in Dawn Shard, which in turn can be obtained in dungeons.

Resources can be saved by using lower level gear previously obtained by synthesis as an ingredient. To do this, select the desired option to the right of the synthesis window.


At the same time, already existing enhancements can be transferred to a new thing, such as the level of sharpening, unlocked nests for stones, awakenings, but this will require additional items ("Bonehorn Horns", "Kai Ling Zhu").

Inlay

The inlay menu can be called up only through the action menu. For convenience, drag the icon to the Quick Access Toolbar.
In the first contribution, stones are inserted, in the second tab they can be removed from equipment. In the right field there are sockets for PVE stones, in the left field there are sockets for PVP stones.


You can insert and remove stones at any time without any additional items, the stones will not break. The higher the level of the stone, the higher the minimum rank of the equipment into which they are inserted.

Drilling sockets

For some equipment, some of the sockets will be covered for inlay. Bonehorn Horns, which can be bought for a reputation as mentorship or for bronze feathers, or exchanged for a phantom pearl, will help correct the situation. The player will not be able to unlock the nest on his own, for this he will need the help of an NPC.


The higher the rank of the item, the more horns will be used to drill one socket.

- another opportunity to strengthen your character, starting from the 39th level, when, according to the orange quest, the player will receive his first disc with four runes. For the most impatient (well, or in case of loss), the same bracteate can be bought in Sulan from a grocer.

The bracteate has an outer ring for round runes (circle of heaven), an inner ring for hexagonal runes (circle of earth), and a center slot for a class rune. The better the bracteate, the more rune slots it has.


Runes give an increase to various parameters, but in addition to this, they add element points (both to one of eight, and to several at the same time).

In the right field from the bruteate, the bonuses received from the combination of elements are listed (there are no bonuses in the screenshot) and by clicking the "Details" button you can see all possible combinations of elements and characteristics that can be enhanced.


The topmost row contains the elemental points received from all the runes inserted into the bracteate. The following are the enhancements that are required for the combination of elemental points to activate them and increase the characteristics after activation.

Each buff has two levels. On the example, the enhancement "Hurricane" shows that its second level is two and a half times more powerful than the first and requires almost twice as many elemental points.

Insert runes wisely, using direct effects from the runes themselves, and activating additional bonuses from a combination of elements.
You can insert and remove runes from the bracteate for free and at any time.

Synthesis of inlay stones and bracteate runes

Better stones and runes can be made from inlay stones and runes of a lower order, for which synthesis is used. You can open the synthesis menu through the inventory.

In the first tab, the runes of the bracteate are synthesized, in the second - inlay stones.

To synthesize runes, you need to put 3 rune stones of the same level and flame on the board. Different types of runes will require different flames.
If you use different runes for synthesis, then the output will be a random rune of a higher level. If you use the same runes, then as a result of the synthesis, the player will receive the same higher level.

To synthesize inlay stones, you need to put 4 identical stones on the board.
