The eighth of April, almost imperceptibly for users, an important event occurred: the Bank of Moscow, in collaboration with Mosgortrans, launched the MO MO MY ROMANT for replenishing the Troika transport card from Android smartphones. It would seem that only Muscovites are interesting, and not everyone, but let's try to figure it out. If the service is captured in the capital, then sooner or later it will go to other major cities of Russia, where there are or similar transport cards appear. And this, in turn, means that NFC in smartphones will finally become a really useful element, and not fashionable, but completely useless for most things, as it is now.

Transport cards in large cities of Russia are not the first year, but I now want to talk about Moscow and specifically the Troika map. When it was only introduced - the very idea of \u200b\u200bgetting a replenished plastic transport card with several tariffs seemed incredibly comfortable, but otherwise, as it happens sometimes, the map turned out to be undershot. You could only replenish the cashier in the subway lobby, check the balance - only on a special terminal there, in general, the beginning was laid, but it was necessary to work on the map for a long time.

After some time, it was possible to replenish in machine guns that are not related to the Metropolitan, Yandex app. Maps and some other programs "learned" to show money balance - for this map it was enough to attach to the NFC smartphone when the application is running (and later and without starting the program). Next, "MegaFon" announced the possibility of replenishing the "Troika" in his salons and now, quite recently, the money has become completely simple - this option appeared in the IB of some banks - enter the card number and the required amount - the money is accrued. It remained just to come up with his card to any yellow terminal in the lobby of the metro and "write" information about the replenishment, actually, on the plastic carrier - "Troika".

So, the eighth of April "Bank of Moscow", together with the "Mosgortrans", launched a mobile application "My travel" and now you can not only translate money to the card, but also immediately record this information on the card using a smartphone with NFC. No longer need to keep the need to approach the yellow terminal in the subway for the next record of funds to the card. It would seem that the possibility is not that much makes life easier and cannot be called "wow", but in my opinion this is a serious step to popularize NFC in smartphones in Russia, because few people understand that this is why it is generally necessary. Yes, there are some movements, for example, the application "Wallet" with the possibility of payment from a shopping smartphone with NFC, but it seems to me that it is potentially thanks to the chief with the "Troika" about the TAS learns much more people than learned before this moment thanks Wallet. "

Briefly tell you how it works.

Put the program "My Travel", register and fall on the main screen. Here you can check the "Troika" card balance, replenish it, and also write another ticket to the card. It is enough to attach a plastic card to the back of the smartphone, choose the amount of replenishment or a new ticket and follow the instructions. All transactions for changing the ticket and replenish the card take a few seconds, the money that you translates to the "Troika" is instantly recorded on the card and no longer need to approach any yellow terminals in the subway.





Transport cards in the application may be several, also to the profile you can bind a specific bank card to replenish the "Troika" so as not to enter all of its data with each payment again - conveniently.
