Each of the game levels in World of Tanks is interesting in its own way. Each of them has its own atmosphere, leaders and favorites. But I decided to start talking about the 5th level for a reason. It so happened that this level is liked by many players (mostly beginners, but not only), which may already serve as a reason for the article. But there is also a second reason - at the moment there are discounts in the game for all 5 levels until December 15 inclusive. Is this not a reason to talk about them and get players interested in buying?

I would like to note right away that in this list of interesting level 5 cars there will be both generally recognized imbs and simply interesting cars on the taste of the author. This clause is made in order to avoid misunderstandings. And once we have prepared and made a reservation, we will proceed to the list of the most interesting level 5 cars.

T-34

The Soviet T-34 is a legendary tank, both during the Second World War and in our game. He gained fame from players not only because of his origin, but also because of his strong performance characteristics. Excellent mobility and maximum speed, ricochet armor, an excellent weapon with just huge damage per minute and remarkable penetration. And in terms of safety margin, everything is in order. It is not surprising that a tank with such a set of performance characteristics is one of the best medium tanks, and of all the vehicles in general at this level.

There is no point in describing the Type T-34, because it is a Chinese copy of the Soviet version of the T-34 and the differences between them are extremely minimal (in fact, they can be considered the same tank). Any of the versions, both the original and the copy, I recommend for purchasing and testing. The T-34 is very strong and will allow you to be a decisive force in battles, sometimes even at the very bottom of the list.

KV-1

As for me, if the first of the Soviet tanks at the 5th level is T-34, then the second is definitely the KV-1. The KV-1 is also a well-known tank both in wartime and on the battlefields in the game. He is the favorite of many players, especially beginners. The KV-1 has strong armor, which allows you to tank not only classmates, but also occasionally tanks of higher levels. What can we say then that at its level and with tanks below the KV-1 it often fights playfully and pushes a lot of damage. Of course, the tank has vulnerabilities in the armor in any of the projections, but it still allows you to make mistakes without paying for them. Also, the KV-1 has a gun with high damage and good dpm, which allows not only to restrain the enemy, but also to attack.

The KV-1 is one of the strongest tanks at its level. Yes, there are certain disadvantages in the form of poor visibility and not the best dynamics, but in most cases the advantages do not just compensate, but often outweigh the disadvantages. If you are new to World of Tanks or a fan of armored vehicles, then I highly recommend the KV-1 for purchase. Plus, like many 5 levels, he farms silver well, even without using a premium account.

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H

Like many medium tanks with a special high-explosive weapon, the Pz. IV H. survived such an event as the nerf of HEAT shells and HE guns in general. Earlier, many patches and years ago, high-explosive weapons dominated overwhelmingly at their level. There were good reasons for this - high damage from HE shells, even without penetration, and penetrating cumulatives, which, moreover, were not "devoured" by the screens and easily penetrated them. No caterpillars and so on, cumulatives entered the tank like a knife through butter. But time has passed, the cumulatives have weakened greatly, and the land mines have also been either reworked / changed in penetration and alpha, or cut in something else. But this does not mean that the Pz. IV H became a weak tank. It still has good mobility, not cardboard forehead armor, which allows many high-explosive guns to be tanked without full damage. Not very much, but the screens on the turret help and the recently added screens on the sides of the hull help quite well, especially against land mines and shaped charges. The tank has two guns to choose from, and with the nerf of a 105mm high-explosive gun, another, 75mm gun, is used more often, but the choice is purely individual. The 105mm cannon is a powerful high-explosive gun that allows you to inflict HE shell damage with a projectile without even piercing the tank, and cumulatives make it possible to knock out huge numbers of durability from the enemy (it's not true at all, because after the nerf the cumulatives sagged decently after penetration).

The second 75mm cannon is a regular "quick-fire" - good penetration on the BB and average penetration on the BP, the damage is also average. In fact, this tool is for those who want maximum stable play, no surprises.

Even the disadvantages of the tank, such as the shortcomings of the guns in terms of accuracy and penetration and the mediocre armor of the tank in general, do not make it weak. Pz. IV H is still good and strong on the battlefield, except that it has become a little more difficult to play on it. The tank is quite peculiar and not for everyone, but it is definitely worth a try.

M24 Chaffee

This light tank, which was at level 5 throughout the history of the game, underwent radical changes in one of the patches and became what it is at the moment. Currently, the M24 Chaffee is the fastest and most observable light tank at its tier (77 km / h and 390 m, respectively). The safety factor is also high for its own and is 440 HP.

Yes, there are also negative aspects in the form of not the most penetrating weapon, I would say even a weakly penetrating weapon and a small ammo for it. Still, the main characteristics that a light tank should have at the M24 Chaffee are at the highest level. It is foolish to say that playing on LT is a simple occupation, but among all the variety of this type of technique, "Chaffe" is quite easy to use and very effective even at the very bottom of the list. If the game on light tanks is too difficult for you or you don't like it, then there is no point in buying the M24 Chaffee, but I highly recommend it to everyone else.

M7

The game has a decent size category of tanks, which combine the features of several types at once, are intermediate or even tanks "in a different skin". The American M7 medium tank is one of them. It is quite average in terms of mass and gun of the tank, but in terms of other characteristics I would like to call it light. Excellent mobility, almost 20 horses per ton and a high top speed of 60 km / h forward and 20 back are more prone to the performance characteristics of a light tank. And the armor says the same, because it is rather weak and protects only from machine guns of 3 levels.

The M7 cannot play a classic medium tank, and positional play is certainly not for it (trivial due to weak armor and mediocre gun stabilization). But the LT style is much more effective, because for this we have both speed and good camouflage (the tank is low in silhouette, but of course the problem is that it is not an LT, which means there is no bonus to camouflage), as well as suitable weapons, very rapid-fire and "biting", but also penetrating, especially on gold shells.

M7 is definitely not for everyone, but with a chip. I advise you to buy it for fairly skillful players, especially those who like fast technology (including LT).

T67

Imba is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to T67 Tier 5 tank destroyers. Unfortunately (precisely "unfortunately"), this is so. This tank has excellent mobility with one of the best power densities in the game, and the maximum speed back and forth is at the level of a light tank. The T67 also impresses with its stealthiness. Even a firing T67 is very difficult to spot. Until you see him, he will take you apart at the speed of "lightning" due to his extremely powerful weapon. Good penetration on BB (although one of the weakest at the level), almost instant mixing, as well as an incredibly high rate of fire. The tank's damage per minute is just overwhelming (more than 2000 damage per minute at level 5!). So, among other things, this tank has a full rotation turret, which allows you to play very aggressively at times, spin opponents without a turret (mostly tank destroyers and self-propelled guns), and also not move the tank's hull when playing from bushes. The last plus makes it possible to keep the camouflage of the tank in a standing state, as well as not to reset the bonus from the camouflage net.

Among the shortcomings of the tank, I would like to note the terrible armor, which is penetrated by land mines with full damage (starting from a caliber of 75mm without problems), as well as a small ammunition load, which, with such an intensity of fire, can quickly lead to its devastation. However, these disadvantages in no way compensate for the advantages of the T67, do not make it balanced. The tank is too strong, and as for me it should be nerfed. But if you are not worried about this moment or just want to feel more power on the battlefield, then the T67 is simply the definite choice for you.

AMX ELC Bis

The so-called "Yolka" is one of the most popular and funniest tanks at its level. High maximum speed and simply huge, one of the best power density in the game (37 horses per ton without modules) and contribute to the popularity of the tank. The pluses also include the extremely small size and the presence of the tower. Due to its size, AMX ELC Bis can benefit from two benefits - excellent passive illumination (with advanced camouflage and a Yolka camouflage net you will only see from an X-ray distance) and very active reconnaissance (due to its small size it is very difficult to get into it).

The tank's gun is surprising, for such a small mass and the same size, the gun is very powerful. The 90mm gun deals high damage and has a strong penetration, especially on gold (almost 250mm). That is, even at the very bottom of the list, "Yolka" is capable of not only shining, but also causing damage.

To the negative aspects of the tank, I would attribute the terrible stabilization of this gun, very bad damage per minute, as well as the turret. That is, the tower, but the rotation sector is incomplete and very small. Due to its size, this light tank also gets a very dense arrangement of modules, which greatly affects the criticality. Not the most obvious disadvantage is the fact that there are only two crew members in the tank, which means that the incapacitation of any of them greatly affects the subsequent efficiency on the battlefield. Also, the view is not the strongest (only 360m, for a LT of this level this is not enough).

But despite the shortcomings, AMX ELC Bis wins the hearts of many players. The advantages of the tank allow you to play the role of both a thoughtful and accurate LT-water, and a perky, headlong rushing across the battlefield, a merry fellow. The tank is great for playing fun. Although it is a LT, I advise absolutely everyone to purchase it in the hangar, even beginners (on the Yolka it is good to gain experience of playing correctly on light tanks).

O-I Experimental

This Japanese heavy tank turns out to be the last on my list of the most interesting tanks at level 5. Quite often, the introduction of new technology "breaks" the mode of random battles. Not everyone is ready for the emergence of a new technique, especially a new type. So it was with the advent of the Japanese TT. If tanks up to level 5 are not really anything of themselves, then starting from level 5 and above their influence on the battle is pretty decent. O-I Exp. not just a heavy tank, it is the "mastodon" of World of Tanks in terms of size and weight. The tank has a huge mass of 100 tons (!!!), as well as very large dimensions, the largest at its level at least. The pluses include surprisingly (for such and such a mass) quite good mobility with a maximum speed of as much as 40 km / h and not the worst power density of 12 horses per ton. The 360-meter view, as for the TT, is very good. Surprisingly, with such a mass, the tank has rather mediocre armor. Often, even classmates break through us without any problems, and non-penetration or ricochets mostly pass through the VLD zone, where the armor is located at a strong slope.

The top 100mm gun is very powerful, both in terms of damage per minute and one-time damage (as much as 300 damage per shot). Such damage is, in most cases, 2/3 or half of the total strength of any of the enemy's tanks (we are talking about classmates, that is, about level 5 vehicles). Such huge numbers make other tanks very much afraid of this heavy.

But there are no pluses without minuses. The gun is very powerful, but with poor stabilization and mixing, penetration on gold also does not shine, which makes the fight against tanks of older tiers very problematic. There is armor, but as already described above, it is not so good, mainly the problem is due to the lack of slope of the armor almost throughout the tank. The tank is lively, but not the most agile, which allows it to wind up without any problems. The sheer size, on the other hand, tells us about a monstrously poor camouflage and frequent suffering from artillery. In addition to twisting, low opponents can simply rub against the tank and inflict damage on it, because the tank is very tall and the gun will simply not sink too low on board.

Despite the unpleasant moments of the tank, he is very strong. And the sensations when damage goes through the enemy with such huge numbers are simply indescribable. The tank can resist and be dangerous even alone, but it is especially strong with the support of at least a small number of allies. The unique pluses and minuses of the tank make it a "black sheep" against the background of many heavy tanks of its level. Is it good or bad for you to decide. But no one forbids to ride it and build your opinion, and more than that, I will say it, recommends it.

Here is the entire list of tanks, which, in my opinion, are the most interesting at level 5. But I want to note that this does not mean that there is nothing interesting among other techniques. I have described both generally recognized strong tanks and simply interesting ones for me.

Choosing premium vehicles for purchase, more and more players are choosing Tier 5 vehicles. However, this technique has a number of distinctive features, despite the consistently high demand. In particular, Tier V premium tanks are usually strong in only one direction: profitability, raising the win rate, or personal efficiency. It is important to take into account that they bring silver about the same. Therefore, the question of which tank to buy sounds very relevant. What to look for when choosing

If you are going to spend your hard-earned money on the purchase of a premium tank, we advise you to consider the following features:

• Own fighting skills. In particular, for Matilda 4, it is important to know the vulnerabilities of level 5-6 opponents. In addition, when playing on the M4A2E4, you need to master the ambush tactics of the game to perfection in order to work with passive light, attacking enemies only in those cases when they are distracted by allies.
• Cost of equipment. To increase combat effectiveness, vehicles must be equipped with removable modules. The price of the equipment differs from the class of equipment. In particular, to equip the CT you will need about 350,000 silver. Installing modules on heavy tanks will cost 2 times more.
• Preferred nation. The privileges of premium vehicles are not limited to farming. On such a technique, you can pump the crews of the selected development branch without mandatory penalties. Therefore, if you prefer a dynamic game on medium tanks of the USSR, it makes sense to purchase "Matilda" 4. Fans of British heavyweights will prefer Excelsior.

Both vehicles have a phenomenal rate of fire, so it is essential to hit the enemy even when approaching, simply firing at the CD. In addition, the tanks are equipped with guns with good armor penetration, which allows you not to use gold in battles, increasing profitability. It should be noted here that Churchill 3 has a frequent crit of the internal modules. Matilda BP does not suffer from this disease, so it looks a little more attractive.

3. The honorable third place is taken by "Matilda" 4 and.
These tanks have excellent indicators for survival in randomness, they bring, if not high, but stable income.

Each tank has its own strengths and weaknesses, but there are some vehicles that are extremely comfortable to play on, these tanks really bend over. We have selected the best tanks for you at each level so that you know what to buy in order to maximize the impact on the outcome of the battle. Before we start, let me tell you about how the tanks were selected for the material. Server-wide statistics for each tank was taken as a basis. The highest percentage of wins was taken into account. However, some changes were made, because there were situations when the vehicle was new and only experienced players pumped it over, which is why the percentage of victories on the tank is much higher for no reason. In addition, the material did not include such vehicles as, for example, the KV-220, the statistics on which are very high, but the tank is now impossible to get.

On some levels, there were several tanks, because it was very difficult to choose the best one.

The first level - MS-1 (49.08% of victories on the server)

The unconditional leader from the USSR is MS-1. Due to its complex of characteristics, Pug mercilessly oppresses newcomers and pedobeers who have just entered the game with tens of thousands of battles behind them.

The MS-1 has no armor (no one has it at the first level), amazing dynamics or accuracy ... But a 45mm gun can deprive the enemy of 47 HP, which is quite a lot. In addition, the tank has a small size, which reduces the likelihood of hitting it.

Second level - PzKpfw 38H735 (f) (56.53% server wins)

Although I promised not to include tanks that are impossible to get in the article, I simply cannot help but tell about the Minimaus, since this unusually protected tank can just bend random battles brutally thanks to its gorgeous armor.

Pay attention to the percentage of victories on the server - 56.53% is very, very much. This is due to the fact that the PzKpfw 38H735 (f) has an absolutely awesome 40mm thick circular armor. Classmates by level penetrate the Minimaus with great difficulty, and the first-level machines may not even try to do it (except that the same MC-1 can try and it is unlikely that he will succeed).

In addition, these 40mm armor is located not only in the forehead and sides, but also, mind you, in the stern. Among the shortcomings of the PzKpfw 38H735 (f), it is necessary to note the weak speed and not very high penetration. However, these shortcomings are easily compensated by the luxurious advantages of the car.

T18 (50.43% server wins)

Do you want to bend on the second level? Please, there is nothing difficult in this, for this you will need straight arms and a small accessory in the form of an American T18 tank destroyer. What makes the T18 better than its classmates? Everything is simple - thanks to the huge one-time damage, the tank destroyer can literally one-shot enemies, and thanks to its excellent speed, you can quickly react to the situation on the battlefield, which changes at the speed of lightning in the sandbox. It is also worth mentioning the good 51mm tank destroyer armor, which can save you from shots in difficult times.

Of course, there were some drawbacks. It should always be remembered that you are a tank destroyer, not a tank - the T18 lacks a turret, so an enemy that has climbed into the rear can cause you a lot of problems. And the enemy can get used to the board, which is also not very pleasant.

And one more thing - in order to be guaranteed to inflict high damage, carry a Serbogold with you, if, of course, you have enough silver.

T2 Light Tank (53.95% server win rate)

If the T18 was created for those who like to one-shot the enemy, then the T2 Light Tank will appeal to players who love fast driving. This is one of the fastest tanks in the game, so you can always hope that the tank's engine will help you out in difficult times. For example, when the base is captured, you can quickly return and shoot down the capture.

In addition, in addition to the speed, the T2 Light Tank boasts an unusual weapon - a machine gun that can destroy the enemy in one hit 12 HP. If you know how to use this weapon correctly, you can work miracles.

Disadvantages of the tank are also present, for example, the complete lack of armor and not very high maneuverability, which will play a cruel joke with you more than once.

Third level - FCM36 Pak40 (59.02%)

A phenomenally high percentage of victories on this French tank destroyer FCM36 Pak40! It is not surprising - the most powerful weapons and good armor (machine guns are not terrible) allow you to work miracles.

In addition, the PT-shka boasts a phenomenal view at its level - as much as 400 meters! You see the enemy when the enemy does not even suspect that he is shining like a Christmas tree. By making good use of the vision and power of the FCM36 Pak40 cannon, it can pull off the most confusing battles. And don't be intimidated by the fact that the FCM36 Pak40 is worth real money, the price is not very high, only 850 gold coins. Believe me, this is a small price to bend.

The disadvantages are low speed and not very large horizontal guidance angles. Not very significant disadvantages, the advantages overlap them several times.

Fourth level - Hetzer (49.45% server wins)

At the fourth level, it was rather difficult to choose the most bending tank, since almost all vehicles are quite average in their characteristics. However, an interesting tank destroyer at this level also has its name "Hetzer". True, for a comfortable and effective bend, you will need a lot of silver. Thick frontal armor and excellent fugasca, capable of depriving the enemy of 350 HP, make Hetzer a real monster. Of course, for a comfortable game, you need to shoot with a Serbogold in order to maximize your chances of inflicting those same 350 damage units.

The vehicle is quite peculiar and in the inept hands of the Hetzer will enrage the tanker with its low speed.

The fifth level

KV-1 (49.1 Win%)

Don't look at the fact that KV-1 has such a low server win rate. This is due to the fact that the tank is extremely popular, and the statistics on it correspond to the concept of "balance" as much as possible. Excellent protection at its level, excellent weapons, but poor mobility and visibility are the key features of this tank. Getting into the TOP, the KV-1 drags the battle and is the main combat unit of the team.

S-35 CA (52.21% server wins)

The second bending machine at the fifth level is the S-35 CA, which has a completely lethal weaponry - a 105mm gun can upset the enemy by as much as 300 hit points, which is a record among classmates. A huge figure! If the evil FBG throws you to the top of the list, then you can mercilessly punish.

The disadvantages of the vehicle are standard - lack of armor, low speed and low durability. But believe me, these shortcomings are compensated for by frantic damage. And the view of the S-35 CA is excellent - we can see it at as much as 400 meters. If you put an enlightenment and a pipe ... Soviet blind tanks will suffer, suffer a lot;).

AT 2 (52.23 win%)

This tank destroyer is only suitable for those players who love the sound of shells bouncing off them. Thanks to its record-breaking armor thickness, the AT 2 survives where the rest of the team has merged. Just imagine, at the fifth level we have as much as 203mm of frontal armor available! It's so damn cool that you can't even wish for the best.

The stern and sides, of course, are less armored, but 101mm is also very helpful.

What characteristics of the AT 2 were sacrificed to the Serbs? Armament and speed. We move at the speed of a turtle and bite the enemy with the force of a mosquito. Which, however, does not prevent this tank destroyer from bending cruelly, especially on city maps, where there are many narrow passages.

Playing on the AT 2 has become even more comfortable after update 0.8.6, as the evil SU-26 imba has been nerfed. Feel free to buy if you like armored tanks. A lot of emotions are provided.

Sixth level

KV-1S (49.06%)

Recognized imba in World of Tanks. Severe one-time damage of 390 units, enemy tanks burst with two shots. In addition to an excellent cannon, Kvass has good mobility, which is quite unexpected for a tank that deals such wild damage.

The advantages are compensated by not very good armor (but there are ricochets, and quite frequent ones) and a high probability of fire (perks to help you).

M18 Hellcat (51.31 Win%)

The highest speed and excellent weapons are a deadly combination, especially in the realities of the World of Tanks. The M18 Cat from Hell is capable not only of dragging battles, but also giving the tanker completely new emotions, because it is in this tank destroyer that you will find speed and a good cannon. A weak penetration is not a problem.

Seventh level - PzKpfw VI Tiger (P) (50.19% win rate)

The seventh level, like the fourth, is also difficult to choose the bending technique. Many, of course, will prefer the Soviet IS, but I choose the German PzKpfw VI Tiger (P), which I advise you to do too, because with the correct use of this wonderful machine, you will enjoy every battle.

Excellent armor penetration, good 200mm armor make the tank really interesting. Of course, you should take into account low mobility and low one-time damage. But even with these disadvantages, the PzKpfw VI Tiger (P) can bend over. And if you place a tank with a diamond, enemy shells will regularly bounce off the vehicle.

Eighth level - IS-3 (48.69%)

And again we have an unconditional leader at our level. Quite a rare occurrence, but the IS-3 at the eighth tier is the best tank. He has everything - a gorgeous weapon, good armor, mobility ... The disadvantages are very insignificant - poor visibility and long mixing are easily offset by advantages.
