But now the die has been cast, and the Brothers' ax has split our world in half. People who worshiped them as Gods became victims of a thousand-year dispute. A controversy mixed with blood and suffering ...
The meaning of the Lot is simple. If the Light reigns over Ishtvar, then one of the Brothers, Zlot, leaves this world. If Darkness reigns, then the second will leave - Debor. They are no longer destined to live together, in peace and harmony. So it is written in the Books of their Destinies.
The ax plunged into the very heart of Ishtvar. And now the brother went against the brother, and the son went against the father. Rivers of blood flowed through the streets of the Ishtvar cities. Tears of mothers and wives flooded the shores of the once flourishing land. Sorrow and desolation have settled in our homes. And instead of grain, our fields are sown with livestock for crows.
You, too, will not escape this lot. The fire of war will burn your soul too, in order to make room for either the true Light or the true Darkness.
But, perhaps, it is you who will become that weight, the fall of which on the scales of the universe will upset the current balance. Then one of the Brothers will leave, and peace will reign in Ishvara again.

The game is written in PHP 5 using Java daemons and a MySQL database (I used to still use eAcselerator, but I turned off this function so that it worked everywhere)

Installation:
The game is already installed (specially made for noobs)

Launching the game:
1) Download the archive, unpack it, and move the ishtwar folder to the root of the C drive (so that the path is C: \ ishtwar)
2) Download and install JDK 1.7.0_09 (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.html)
3) In environment variables:

Add a variable:

5) Run the xampp_start.exe file (this will start apache, mysql, php)

In general, playing Ishtvar: War of the Brothers will be entertaining for fans of role-playing games with a variety of preferences and claims to the game.

Ishtvar: The War of the Brothers is a browser-based one that combines movement across the map from Heroes and text battles. Another fantasy world, another two-way antagonism, another simulator of fights at random, not skill. As you might guess, once upon a time, two acrobatic brothers did not share power, thousands of years have passed since then, but the war has not subsided to this day.

Moving around the map in Ishtvar is more of a formality, as the landscape design does not stand out in any way. There are boundaries between locations, there are some standard objects for the fantasy world, there are dungeons ... in general, with the same success all this could be formalized in the text. On the other hand, it creates at least the illusion of action in a world in which 90% of the screen is occupied by images of weapons and text.

On the map, you do not move alone, but with armies - therefore, battles take place not one on one, but wall to wall. Accordingly, the book of spells (where without them) is divided into two sections - non-combat and combat. The crossing of "heroes" and a standard text browser cannot but be called an interesting idea (in combat interface even the figures of your soldiers and enemy soldiers are moved; however, only one at a time). In addition to these two elements, there is also crafting, an alien from full-fledged RPGs. The newcomer is not persecuted, I must admit; There are enough items and materials in Ishtvar, so there will always be something to craft and re-craft.

Ishtvar does not offer interesting art and at least pleasant music. If the latter is quite understandable: players love browsers for the opportunity to play to their own rock and roll, then the former is unforgivable. At least something in the game should attract and hold the player's attention so that he chooses it, the one and only. However, Ishtvar is not such a game; it's just "one of".
