How to draw a beautiful money tree step by step. Diy picture of a money tree made of coins with video. Money tree bonsai

Good day to all!
It " Money Tree"I gave it as a gift.

I used:
- wooden photo frame 30x40; 30x45 (can be smaller)
- Fiberboard (chipboard)
- PVA glue, thermal gun or Titan glue (Moment glue is transparent)
- coins (washing powder, "Comet", vinegar, salt, alcohol or degreaser, rubber gloves)
- brush, pencil, scissors, foam sponge
- two-layer paper napkins - three-layer, papier-mâché from egg trays, pieces of wallpaper, tow, twine, thick knitting threads
- a piece of leather for a money bag (leatherette), braid for decoration
- paint black acrylic enamel (dark brown) for priming
- paint bronze acrylic enamel for stamping
- scrapbooking: a key lock, an owl, shell pebbles, eggshells (glue on PVA glue, beans are pebbles (glue on "Moment" glue), a chain, a money bag, butterfly birds, leaf flowers, the sun, a turtle , ladybug and any little thing.

1. Prepare the frame and base: remove the glass, replace the cardboard with chipboard. The glass can then be inserted from the back side and under it you can place a congratulation or a description of the symbolism present on the panel). You can read the description of the symbolism here - If you make a mount on the back side to hang a picture, then you won't need glass. Drill 2 holes in the chipboard, insert the screws and fasten a strong cord on which the panel will be hung. On the front side, the screws will be covered with a layer of coins. The frame can be left initially as it is, or it can be stamped with a sponge with gold or bronze acrylic paint or decorated with crumpled napkins on PVA by painting and stamping before inserting the panel into the frame.

2. Prepare coins: soak in vinegar 9% with salt in a thick gruel for 20 minutes. and wipe with gloves) can be cleaned with washing powder, soda, "Comet". Degrease with alcohol (degreaser). Dry.

3. Twist flagella from 2-3 ply napkins (strips 1.5-2 cm wide or different widths): * take a strip, moisten with water, twist at an angle of 45 degrees in one direction, not tightly. Unfold the flagella to dry.
To form the trunk, you can use thick threads, tow, papier-mâché from egg trays, twine. The background on chipboard can be decorated with wrinkled effect PVA napkins.

4. Draw a sketch of the trunk and crown. Coat the place where the trunk will be with PVA glue. We form a trunk from flagella, gluing to the base of the chipboard on PVA. If the flagella are dry, sprinkle them with water from a spray bottle for elasticity.
When gluing the outer contours of the trunk, use as little glue as possible, without going beyond the boundaries of the sketch.

5. Form the trunk, branches, roots and hollow for the owl. Using a heat gun or just glue from a bottle, create a tree crown from coins, first along the outline of the sketch, then fill in the middle.
Dry and remove the "cobweb" from the glue with a coarse brush.

6. Glue the symbolism: the sun, an owl in a hollow, butterflies and birds in pairs, a key-lock on a branch, a chain on a trunk, a ladybug, a turtle, leaves on the crown, pebbles or eggshells we put at the roots of a tree, a money bag at the bottom of the panel ( made of thin leather or leatherette, foam rubber inside), flowers, etc.
Cover the first layer of coins and the entire panel with black acrylic paint, painting over all the cracks. Dry

Stamp with bronze acrylic paint or gold: slightly dip the foam rubber sponge in the paint and gently, slightly pressing, stamp across the entire surface of not only the wood, but also the background and symbolism. The paint sponge should be almost dry. Before stamping, make a proof print on a sheet of paper to remove excess ink. We highlight the sun with sweeping movements, forming rays.

We glue the second layer of coins (empty spaces between the coins so as not to show through). Glue the last 3rd layer of the most shiny and beautiful coins on top of the colored coins. The picture can be varnished.
Insert the finished panel into the prepared frame.

“The money tree attracts money.
May there always be enough of them in your house!
May this gift bring joy.
Along with the growth of the tree, let the income grow "

According to the ancient Chinese teachings of Feng Shui, the use of various signs of wealth positively affects a person's luck and well-being. The money tree is called one of the most powerful symbols of attracting material wealth. At the same time, it is not at all necessary to buy a living plant and grow it for a long time. You can create a tree in the form of a picture of coins with your own hands. Such a wonderful craft will fill the house with positive energy of well-being and happiness, as well as bring prosperity.

A canvas for good luck

To make a picture, you will need the following materials:

  • photo frame, the size is selected depending on what size the tree will be;
  • fabric for the main background, it is better to choose a denser one;
  • paper napkins;
  • glue;
  • coins, all of the same denomination are selected, but it is possible of different ones;
  • thermal gun;
  • acrylic paint, it is recommended to choose black and bronze;
  • scissors;
  • brush;
  • marker or pencil;
  • a small piece of foam rubber or a sponge.

The master class consists of the following stages. First step. First you need to carefully remove the glass from the frame and put it aside for a while. Attach the cardboard base to the fabric and trace with a pencil. Cut out the fabric, and apply glue in a thick layer on the cardboard. Stick the fabric onto cardboard and dry thoroughly. Now you can draw a sketch of the future tree.

While the fabric is drying, we do not waste time, but prepare the coins for work. They need to be cleaned and degreased to make it easier to paint.

Second phase. Each napkin should be folded in half and cut to create long, flat surfaces. Depending on the texture of the future tree, the strips are made from one to one and a half centimeters in size.

You can start twisting the harnesses. We lower a strip of napkin in a cup of cold water. She should be completely wet. We carefully remove it so that the strip does not break and lose its shape.

We hold the strip in the palm of one hand, and with the other we begin to slowly twist it into a tourniquet. The process is similar to making "sausages" from plasticine. In this case, you need to try to twist the tourniquet at approximately an angle of 45 degrees. Twist it as tightly as possible and, spreading it out at a short distance from each other, let them dry well.

Stage three. To facilitate the work with the flagella, it is necessary to moisten them quite a bit with water. You can use a flower sprayer. Next, we take one flagellum, grease it well with glue and apply it to a prepared base made of cardboard and fabric. A sketched sketch of the tree will help distribute the harnesses in the desired direction. But it is worth remembering that you do not need to apply too much glue. Excess glue can impair the appearance of the wood after drying.

Stage four. You can use a glue gun to create thin branches of the crown of a tree. Hot glue is applied in thin strips along the contour of the sketch branches. And while it is still not frozen, we glue the coins. To create a more voluminous image, you can stick several layers of coins, placing them in any order. The number of layers and coins depends only on the wishes of the master. The "cobwebs" left on the tree after using the glue gun can be safely removed with a stiff brush. After this, the painting must be allowed time to dry completely.

The final stage. Now the elements of the picture, namely the trunk and crown, must be primed. Using a piece of foam rubber, apply a layer of black acrylic paint to the entire tree. And again we leave to dry. The trunk of the tree will have to be covered with black paint one or two more times. When dry, the wipes can absorb the color almost completely.

Next, take a bronze-colored acrylic paint and pour it a little into a shallow container. We dip the sponge quite a bit into the paint and easily, with the same effort, we go over the entire tree and the background. If you are not sure what will turn out well, it is best to practice on a piece of paper or a piece of cloth first.

Instead of bronze acrylic paint, you can use silver or gold paint. You can try color combinations on a different surface, this will help you choose the final version.

Also, for work, you can choose not acrylic paint, but paint in a spray can. When painting with such paint, remember that when applying, you need to hold the balloon at a distance of about 50 cm and spray with smooth movements. If desired, the frame can be painted or decorated with coins. Then turn our picture frame face down, lay the glass neatly. Fasten the resulting picture with clamps on the frame.

The picture with the image of the money tree is ready!

Below are several photos of variants of a tree made of coins.

A beautiful panel "Money Tree" made by your own hands is not just a decoration, but a symbol that attracts money and contributes to material well-being.

Of course, you can be skeptical about this statement, but the original decor will not become less attractive from this. Coin panel is suitable for the wall of a home office, hallway, office, premises where the company's cash register is located. Such a gift is ideal for a manager or accountant of a company.

Materials and tools for creativity

To make a panel with a money tree, you will need:

  • A4 frame;
  • a piece of textured wallpaper;
  • scissors;
  • tube with PVA glue;
  • twine;
  • thermal gun with silicone rods;
  • coins of different denominations;
  • small stones;
  • metal figurine "owl";
  • brush;
  • polyethylene;
  • acrylic paint in black, bronze and gold shades;
  • transparent glossy varnish.

Prepare everything you need at once to be distracted by the creative wave in search of details. Think good while working, charge the talisman for enrichment.

Step-by-step manufacturing technique

Take an A4 frame and remove the hardboard base from it.

Pick up a piece of textured wallpaper. The color doesn't matter, but the drawing is important. Wallpaper with a burlap texture is perfect.

Cover the base with wallpaper, generously greasing it with PVA glue.

Once the glue is dry, you can continue working. Take the string and make a small skein out of it that fits on the hardboard. There can be from 15 to 50 turns in a skein, their number depends on the desired thickness of the tree.

Fix the central part of the resulting skein with a thermal gun in the middle of the panel base. Use scissors to cut each strand at the top and bottom.

Make twigs from the upper ends of the twine, and from the lower ends - the roots of the money tree from coins. There is no need to regret silicone, it is important that all the elements of the panel are securely fixed.

Now take coins of different denominations. The color does not matter, the main thing is that they are of different diameters.

Glue coins in a random order on the branches of the money tree.

Fix them with a heat gun near the roots. Arrange the pebbles as you see fit, rarely or completely filling the space below.

On the trunk, glue a hollow formed from a piece of twine, and fix the metal figurine of an owl in it.

You have practically made a money tree for a panel with your own hands.

The next stage is painting. Place the artwork on a piece of plastic and paint the entire surface with black acrylic paint.

When the black paint is dry, paint over the trunk, branches, roots, coins and pebbles with bronze and gold acrylics.

Apply strokes either over the entire surface of the elements, or partially. The last stage is the application of glossy varnish. Cover the work with 1 or 2 coats and leave overnight until dry.

Here is such a beautiful tree!

A panel made of coins can already be hung on the wall in this form. But it is better, of course, to insert the craft into a frame.

This will make the work look more complete.

Take the time and create your own symbol of prosperity.

A tree with coins will definitely bring success to your home, company and financial stability for the whole team.

Mascots for the home are presented in the form of various products. One of the most popular among them is the money tree, which you can make yourself. Such a craft is often made from real banknotes. In this case, you can make a topiary or bonsai from minerals, coins, beads and other similar elements. The manufacturing process for many of the options is relatively straightforward, but painstaking anyway.

What does the money tree symbolize

Before making a money tree from coins with your own hands, check out this illustrious talisman in more detail. It is not only a beautiful interior decoration, but also an amulet with strong energy. This talisman is considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity. If you equip your home according to the principles of the ancient Chinese art of feng shui, then it is best to place the craft with money in the workplace or in the southeastern part of your apartment or house.

How to make a topiary from coins with your own hands

One of the most popular options for crafts in the form of a money tree is a coin topiary. For its production, you can buy souvenir Chinese coins, which are characterized by the presence of a square hole. To form the trunk, you will need a suitable tube or wire, depending on the size of the future product. Sometimes a real branch of a tree is taken for this purpose. The main one for decorative crafts is often a pot. The trunk is fixed in it with the help of clay, plasticine or glue.

Tools and materials

To create a money tree with coins that brings happiness and wealth to your home, you will need to purchase a golden paint. With its help, you will give your craft a spectacular and original look. Prepare the following materials and tools:

  • shells from pistachios;
  • coins;
  • golden paint, varnish;
  • a coil of wire;
  • small pot;
  • FUM (fluoroplastic sealing material): tape or threads;
  • glue;
  • scissors, drill;
  • plaster mix.

Step-by-step instruction

Punch a hole in each pistachio shell first. Use a drill for this purpose. The following steps for making do-it-yourself topiary:

  1. Make leaflets for future topiary. To do this, cut off 15-20 cm of wire and tie it to the shell through the hole made earlier. Prepare 15-20 leaves in the same way, depending on the size of the money tree.
  2. Twist each wire with a spiral. To make a small twig, twist a few shell leaves together.
  3. You can make a whole branch if you connect 2-3 small ones together. At the same time, try to repeat the structure of a real tree.
  4. After connecting whole branches, you will get a small tree. Be sure to wrap the resulting trunk with thread or FUM tape. Thanks to this action, it will be more durable.
  5. In the next step, apply golden paint to the craft. It is better to use a can for this, not forgetting about the precautions. Move the tree to a secluded place so the paint can dry well.
  6. Take a small pot and fill with plaster. Place a tree in it and wait for the material to harden. Then paint over the pot with the same golden paint. Scatter coins in and around the topiary pot.

There is another version of the money tree, in which coins will need to be tied to branches. For this purpose, you just need souvenir coins with slots in the middle. The set of materials is approximately the same as for the previous instructions. Stages:

  1. Tie pieces of copper wire 0.3 mm in diameter to the coins.
  2. Next, connect 5 segments with coins screwed to them in series.
  3. Once you finish weaving the coin segments into several large branches, start decorating them.
  4. Since a thin wire cannot support the weight of several coins well, reinforce each branch with a piece of wire at the base. To do this, take a material with a diameter of 1 mm, fold it in half and, attaching it to the base of the branch, wrap it with a dark floral tape. Do this work for each branch.
  5. Then form a single trunk from the branches, fastening them with tape. Add thicknesses to it, if necessary, using pieces of copper wire.
  6. Find a plastic box of a suitable shape, fill it with plaster mix, and dip the wire barrel into it. Secure the craft until the mixture starts to set.
  7. After 20-30 minutes, remove the blank and start shaping the trunk. Give it additional volume using alabaster, plaster, cement. Dilute a mixture of these three components with construction PVA glue or stationery diluted in water.
  8. Apply the mixture to the barrel and make grooves. Decorate the money tree with coins. Coloring at will can be done in multi-layer, for example, a layer of bronze and gold paint, acrylic varnish and glitter. As a result, you will get an original hand-made craft.

Alternatively, you can make a money tree from banknotes with your own hands. Such a craft will become original decoration interior and a kind of talisman that will personify well-being and prosperity in your home. If you did not find the banknotes that you do not mind using for such a craft, then buy some banknotes in a souvenir shop. Try to prepare as many bills as possible so that your handmade money tree looks really rich.

What materials will be needed

To begin with, you should find a suitable foam cone, because it will be used as the basis for the money tree. In addition, prepare the following materials and tools:

  • clay pot;
  • Wooden sticks (such as sushi sticks)
  • toothpicks;
  • banknotes;
  • pins;
  • paper;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • plaster mix.

The main stages of creation

The process for creating this money tree is simpler than the instructions described earlier. The finished craft can be decorated with bright tags or festive ribbons. Process of creation:

  1. First, cut off a piece of the cone, place it on wooden sticks and place the blank in a clay pot-shaped stand.
  2. Attach the folded money (dollars or rubles) to the cone using pins. This should be done gradually in rows, starting from the very bottom.
  3. Hang the entire cone in series with banknotes. You can use them in any quantity, the main thing is to make sure that no voids are visible on the tree.
  4. Cut a star out of paper, glue it to a toothpick and place it on the very top of the cone.

One of the interesting options is a money tree made of beads and coins. With a competent and accurate approach, you should get a bonsai with delicate green greenery, an irregular shape and a trunk, in the crevices of which coins are hidden. This homemade bonsai can be a real money magnet. The beads will be woven using a stitching technique. Such a money tree will act as an excellent gift for a loved one.

What is needed

Green beads are the key material. Buy about 100 g of medium sized Chinese beads (number eight) at once. Additionally prepare:

  • copper wire(thin and thick);
  • an old plate;
  • floristic tape;
  • PVA glue;
  • gouache;
  • pliers, scissors;
  • plaster mix;
  • alabaster, finishing plaster.

Step by step algorithm

Pay special attention to beading. The aesthetics of the leaves and twigs depends on how well you get it. Detailed master class:

  1. Count 8-9 beads, form a loop out of them. Twist the wire to form a "leg" 1.5 cm long.
  2. On both sides of the first loop, you need to make side leaves. To do this, fix 8-9 beads on a leg 0.5 cm long. As a result, you get a ready-made branch of 3 loops. Twist the wire again to form a leg for the twig itself. This will create a third-order branch.
  3. Connect three of these branches together to get a large - of the second order.
  4. A large branch (first order) will have 3 branches of the second order. In total, such a branch will contain 9 branches of the third order, to one of which you need to attach a gold coin with a square cut in the middle.
  5. To make the branch rigid, attach a copper wire 1 mm in diameter and 10 cm long to its base. Fasten the elements with a regular floral tape.
  6. In total, about 12 large branches will be obtained from 100 g of beads. Form the crown of a money bonsai from them: take a wire frame with a cross section of 3 mm or more and gradually attach the prepared branches of the first order to it. Secure them with floral tape.
  7. Bend the wood to make it look more natural. Attach a steel wire loop to the base of the barrel for stability.
  8. To make the money tree more realistic, bend all the branches. The shape of the bonsai can be adjusted with pliers for stability.
  9. Get involved in plastering. Take a suitable form, cover it with cellophane and fill it with a mixture of cement, gypsum and sand in equal parts, which must be diluted with water. Place the barrel in the mixture and hold until the alabaster grabs.
  10. As soon as the base hardens, remove it from the pot, free it from the cellophane and cut off any excess.
  11. Cover the trunk and branches of the craft with a mixture of 2 parts of alabaster and 1 part of finishing plaster, which should be diluted with PVA glue. After a day, apply another layer of the mixture and form a crack in the bark with the opposite end of the brush.
  12. Get started painting money bonsai. First, cover the bark with light gouache, gradually darkening it closer to the top of the craft. Then treat with a second layer of brown gouache.
  13. Without waiting for the second layer to dry, rub the entire craft with a damp sponge. When the paint is dry, add translucent and acrylic gold plating.
  14. If the crown turns out to be pale, spray it with varnish and sprinkle with sparkles. You can do the same with the barrel.
  15. You can decorate with stones and coins, which must be glued to the trunk with polymer glue.

A miniature tree decorated with paper money would be a great gift ahead of New Years holiday and an original addition to any interior. Such a craft will never lose its relevance. To make it yourself, you will need to prepare bills of any currency you are interested in. With the right approach, you will get a craft that is no worse than those shown in the photo of master classes by experienced needlewomen. Do-it-yourself money tree - sequence of actions:

  1. If you use standard bills, then the tree will turn out to be large. Therefore, cut the money "blanks" in half and give them the shape of a pentagon so as to further fold them into symmetrical bags.
  2. Form a small bag out of each paper bill, and glue the edges with hot glue. Bend the bottom of the blanks. It is difficult to calculate the number of necessary bags in advance, so make about 60-70 pieces first. Add new ones if necessary.
  3. To prepare the trunk of the topiary, you will need a wooden stick and decorative tape. An elastic foam ball with a diameter of 2.5 cm will be used as a base - you can buy it at a pet supply store.
  4. Wrap a straight stick in two layers with a translucent metallic tape of golden color.
  5. Pierce the ball with a knife, insert the future trunk into it. For reliability, fix with hot silicone glue from a gun.
  6. At the bottom, where the barrel is fixed, start attaching blank money bags. Fix them not on the ball, but on the trunk.
  7. Fasten all subsequent workpieces to each other. Do not forget to apply glue to the place where the bun is in contact with the ball as well.
  8. As a result, you should have a ball with money bags strung on a golden stick. Do the top of the head very carefully, because this is the most visible area of homemade topiary.
  9. Find a suitable pot to use as a base for your craft. Try to make a container with your own hands. To do this, find a suitable yogurt jar and paint it with acrylic paint.
  10. Once the paint is dry, decorate the homemade pot with ribbons and netting. You need to fix the decor with a glue gun. You can attach a golden bow to the front of the pots.
  11. Mix cement with sand in a separate container (determine the appropriate proportions yourself). Add water there until the mixture acquires the consistency of thick sour cream.
  12. Put the finished solution in a pot, place a topiary with paper money-bags there. It is better to fix the tree during the drying of the cement-sand mixture. You can substitute a support for it.
  13. Cover the dried mixture with transparent glue, and then decorate with specially designed sand.
  14. After the mixture and glue have completely dried, add decor to the topiary. You can use real foliage, colorful ribbons and bills. Roll the last ones, put them at the base of the crafts and fix them securely with glue.
  15. Glue the leaves to the trunk using hot glue. Add a bow to the pot, and you can put a thin golden ribbon around the trunk, fixing it in several places.
  16. Sprinkle the finished craftwork with bills with clear varnish and place it by the open window to dry.
  17. After finishing work, check the stability of the pot. For security, process the edges where the mesh is fixed using hot glue to match the pot.

One of the unusual ideas for creating crafts in the form of a tree with money is embroidery. For this, the technology of cross stitching is used. The master class below will be an excellent practice for novice masters. The scheme is relatively simple, so working on such needlework will not take much of your time. According to the rules of feng shui, the finished picture with banknotes will need to be located in the southeast of the housing, and with coins - on the north side, opposite the door. For embroidery, prepare:

  • floss threads of green, dark green, brown and dark brown colors;
  • canvas;
  • a needle;
  • hoop;
  • scissors;
  • souvenir coins or bills.

Scheme and technology

Prepare the canvas for cross stitching, which you must first pull over the hoop and fasten it carefully. A 40 x 40 cm fabric is quite enough. Aida 14 canvas is a popular option. Also note that if you use paper money for your embroidery, it is recommended to use it in an odd amount. When using metallic money, according to Feng Shui, it is recommended to take 9 or 14 coins. Embroidery technology:

  1. Begin to embroider at the bottom-left cross stitch. Thread a brown thread through the needle and push it from the wrong side into the bottom left hole of the square.
  2. There is no need to make a knot at the end of the thread, just hold it with your finger at the first stitch.
  3. Return the needle inside out through the top right hole of the square and pull the thread to the top left corner. After that, thread it again into the lower right one, as a result of which you will get the first cross.
  4. In the course of the described manipulations, the end of the thread must be securely fixed from the wrong side.
  5. It takes a very long time to embroider such a craft one cross at a time, so you can sew one row to the end with half-crosses, after which you will need to sew in the same way in the opposite direction.
  6. Along the contour, the money tree and the bow must be sheathed with a stalk seam. For this purpose, bring the thread to the wrong side and sew a small stitch. Then return the needle and thread to the wrong side of the canvas and slide it in the middle of the first stitch.
  7. In the same way, carefully make the second stitching. The peculiarity of the stalk seam is that you need to ensure that the stitches are of the same length. Each subsequent stitching must be started from the center of the previous one.
  8. Once you are done with cross stitching, you can place money on the almost finished craft. Arrange the paper bills neatly on top of it, folding each one into an accordion. Fix the money in the middle, and smooth the ends nicely. As a result, you will get a tree with leaves in the form of peculiar fans. There are 9 such blanks to make.
  9. Banknotes should be placed above the tree trunk so that a semicircular crown is formed. Sew them neatly to the canvas.
  10. In addition to banknotes, you can use special accessories in the form of golden leaves or coins, for example, with Chinese characters - coins with them must be attached to the embroidery so that the characters look up. It is recommended to insert the finished work into a frame under the glass so that it is always completely safe.

Often in souvenir shops there are topiary from paper money, but it is best to make such a talisman and decor item with your own hands. Money is placed under the tree trunk or attached to the trunk. For example, you can make about 40-50 bags of paper money, of which you can then form three layers of a Christmas tree: the lower one will consist of 13 parts, the middle one - 10 parts, the upper one - 7. You can make a ball out of bills, and then string it on a stick in the form of a barrel. Banknote not only folded into a small bag, but also folded like a fan, making a tube out of it.

A do-it-yourself money tree in the form of a panel with coins is another original version of the craft. At the preparatory stage, you will need to stick burlap on the cardboard base of the photo frame using PVA glue, dry it and draw a sketch of the future tree. Prepare coins to be degreased - for example, rinse with water and detergent. To create a trunk using the paper art technique, you will need flagella twisted from paper. It is better to use multi-layer napkins for this. DIY panel making technique:

  1. Fold 2- or 3-ply paper napkins in half so that after cutting, you end up with long strips. Pre-mark their outlines on napkins. Suitable strip widths are 1-1.5 cm.
  2. Cut the strips and start twisting the flagella. To do this, take a piece of paper, dip it whole in a cup of cold water, moisten it well and take it out immediately. It is undesirable to overexpose, otherwise the paper will swell and lose its shape.
  3. Twist a flagellum from a strip - do it in about the same way as you once rolled a sausage from plasticine. You need to twist in one direction and preferably at an angle of 45 degrees.
  4. Try to twist each piece as tightly as possible. Then spread the flagella on any surface to dry.
  5. Glue dried filaments from multi-layer napkins with PVA glue to the cardboard base. You can fix the workpieces directly on the burlap without first priming the base with napkins. To make the craft look neat in the future, when gluing the extreme contours of the trunk, use as little PVA glue as possible and do not go beyond the boundaries of the sketch.
  6. Using the heat gun, start creating the crown of the tree. Observing the shape of the sketch made and selecting the coins by size, glue the entire contour.
  7. Then stick the rest of the coins. This can be done in any order.
  8. Cobwebs may remain on the surface of the coins after using the heat gun. Be sure to remove them using a coarse brush. After that, send the workpiece to dry.
  9. After drying, cover the entire surface with black spray paint and wait until everything is dry again.
  10. Take care of painting. Dip a sponge lightly in a contrasting paint (for example, acrylic bronze) and carefully stamp the entire surface of the panel with it. While doing this, lightly press down on the sponge. In order for the product to be neat, the sponge with paint should be practically dry. Before stamping the panel, take a proof print on paper to remove excess ink.
  11. When choosing the right color for your primer, experiment with a small mockup first. So you can choose the optimal color scheme and at the same time work out the technique of stamping the panel.

Video

Today I want to present to you a detailed master class with a photo on making the "Money Tree" panel from coins with my own hands.

    - wooden frame; - a piece of burlap, canvas or denim; - acrylic paints and sponge; - coins; - PVA glue; - thermal gun; - napkins.

Do-it-yourself panel from coins master class step by step

First, remove the glass from the frame and take out the cardboard base. It is on it that we will work. We take a piece of embossed fabric (burlap, canvas or jeans) and cut it to the size of the cardboard. Thickly cover the cardboard with PVA glue and glue the fabric.

Cut the edges to fit the base. To prevent the cardboard from warping, place a glass and a press on top.

As soon as the glue dries, we take up the trunk of the tree. Cut the napkins into strips 1.5 cm wide and twist them into flagella.

You need to prepare a large enough number of flagella to form a complete trunk.

Draw the outline of our tree with branches on the basis.

It all depends on your imagination. Someone can make a simple classic tree with a straight trunk, someone loves intricate shapes with bends and curls. In any case, the tree will ultimately look very good due to the fact that it is made from individual flagella. This technique makes the tree realistic, practically repeating the structure of the bark. Lubricating the flagella with PVA glue, we begin to lay them out along the drawn contour in several layers, making the tree trunk textured.

The trunk is ready, we proceed to the design of the crown of the tree. Depending on whether you have a rectangular or square frame, choose the appropriate shape for the crown of the tree. It can be stretched horizontally, then the tree will be more branched. I have it in a fairly simple form. We begin to glue the coins with a heat gun. First, we glue the coins along the contour of the tree.

Then we fill in the middle, and then glue the coins in several layers so that the crown is voluminous and the empty spaces do not shine through.

All is ready. We take black acrylic paint (better pearlescent or metallic, it will look better and not so gloomy). We paint the whole picture, both fabric and wood.

Now we take gold acrylic paint and use a foam cup to cover the painting with gold, especially a coin. Do not overdo it, you only need to achieve the gilding effect.

Before we put the picture in the frame, we will also decorate the frame a little and give it a golden shine using the same acrylic paint.

That's all, a wonderful gift in the form of a monetary panel of coins is ready.

According to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui, the money tree is a talisman for attracting wealth to the house. It can be either a living plant, a bonsai tree, or an artificial bonsai tree, a topiary, or a panel depicting a coin tree. This tree should stand in the middle of the southeastern part of the living room. It can be purchased, but it is better to do it yourself - then it will contain your energy and more actively attract the flow of wealth into the house.

What talismans can be made with your own hands:

  • Bonsai is a bonsai grown on a flat surface: a platter, lid, tray; its evenly spread branches symbolize stability.
  • Topiary is a tree, the crown of which was cut in the form of a ball, on an even trunk in a pot.
  • Panel.

Money tree bonsai

The most difficult of DIY crafts, you will need to work hard.

To make it we need:

  • traditional Chinese coins with square holes (can be purchased with gift shop) or ordinary pennies of about the same denomination and color, but holes need to be drilled in them - we take 50 pieces;
  • thin wire for branches (you need one so that it bends well, but does not sag under the weight of coins);
  • thick wire;
  • floristic tape;
  • decorative cover (stand, saucer);
  • materials for mortar: cement, alabaster, PVA glue, finishing plaster;
  • gold acrylic paint in a spray can.

How we will proceed:

  1. We take a piece of wire 40 cm long, string a coin in the middle and twist both ends of the wire, twist it further, make a twig with a leaf 2 cm long.Now, put a coin in the middle of the free end of the wire, twist it, and from the other end also. We make a twig of five leaves.
  2. We make 10 branches. We wrap the base of each branch with a floral tape.
  3. We twist them together, form a tree and a crown. We put a thick wire in the middle, it can be insulated.
  4. Now we lower the "roots" into the pallet and fill it with the solution. We prepare it like this: mix in equal parts cement, sand and alabaster, add water.
  5. We make a new solution, coat the trunk and branches with it. Mortar: alabaster, finishing plaster, cement, PVA glue in equal parts, water.
  6. After drying, cover the money tree with gold paint.

Money tree Topiary

Difficulty level of the master class: medium (an adult and a schoolchild can cope with it under the guidance of an adult).

Let's take:

  • coins;
  • foam ball (diameter 10 cm);
  • a stick for the trunk (branch, thick wire);
  • a 5 mm gold ribbon for wrapping the barrel and decoration;
  • golden rhinestones for decoration;
  • drainage materials (gypsum);
  • flower pot;
  • gold paint;
  • glue gun.

Sequencing:

  1. With the help of a glue gun, we begin to glue the coins to the ball.

    Money tree made of coins will help you get rich

    We spread them in rows, leave empty place for the trunk.

  2. We wrap the stick with a ribbon, while fixing it with glue.
  3. We make a hole in the ball, insert a stick there and glue it well.
  4. Preparing the drainage. Pour gypsum solution into the pot, put a tree there and wait until it hardens.
  5. We cover the pot, drainage and money with gold paint.
  6. We glue rhinestones on coins selectively, decorate the pot with rhinestones. We form bows from the ribbon and attach a pot to the trunk.

Deciding on a place for an artificial tree

A do-it-yourself charm for wealth can decorate your room. Determine where you have the southeast in your apartment and think about which type of money tree is most suitable for the interior. If this is an open wall, then a picture will be appropriate, if there is a shelf, table or flower stand in this place, then choose a wood craft.

Important! Feng Shui southeast does not coincide with the cardinal points. If you know that the windows of your apartment face east, then according to Chinese teaching, it will be west. Select the living room, face the window; therefore, the southeast will be at the beginning of the left wall of the room - place the money tree there.

Painting "Money tree from unnecessary coins"

This is a simple kind of work. We will make panels with our own hands using the “applique” technique, so everyone can cope with the task, and such work in the interior will look very stylish.

We procure materials:

  • trifle of the same size;
  • a sheet of thick cardboard for the base;
  • a piece of burlap to match the background;
  • napkins;
  • glue gun or strong glue ("Dragon", "Moment");
  • PVA glue;
  • bronze (gold) acrylic paint;
  • frame;
  • a piece of sponge.

Now let's get to work:

  1. We glue the burlap on the cardboard, level it, wrap the edges and glue it.
  2. We cut the napkins into strips 2 cm wide; starting from the corner of the strip, we twist the flagellum, smearing with PVA glue. We make many of these flagella.
  3. Draw the outline of the tree with a pencil. Now we moisten the flagella with PVA glue so that they become damp, and lay out the trunk and branches from them. Let it dry.
  4. Glue the coins with a glue gun.
  5. We cover the crown of the tree, the trunk and the background with gold paint using a sponge.
  6. We glue the frame to the picture.

Everything is ready: our handmade money trees will decorate the interior and attract well-being to the house.

DIY painting from coins: a money tree that brings wealth

Perhaps every house has a piggy bank with an impressive handful of kopecks, foreign coins and other unnecessary trifles. What to do with all this "wealth"? There is a great idea for creative people- a picture of coins with your own hands. Below is a detailed master class with step-by-step photos for making an amulet painting depicting a money tree.

Necessary materials

  • Any coins of different diameters;
  • The basis for the painting (thick cardboard 1-2 mm thick);
  • A piece of burlap;
  • Multi-layer napkins of any color or rope (lace);
  • Glue gun;
  • PVA glue;
  • Black spray paint;
  • Bronze or silver acrylic paint;
  • Auxiliary tools: brush, scissors, brush, etc.

Preparing coins

Before using, the coins must be thoroughly washed with soap and water and a brush, then dried and degreased with alcohol. To restore shine to tarnished coins, you can brush them with toothpaste, dry them and polish them with a piece of felt.

Preparing the base of the painting

  1. Cut a blank of the required size from cardboard.
  2. Cut off a piece of burlap slightly larger than the cardboard blank. Make sure that the fabric is free of foreign inclusions, holes, irregularities and other defects.
  3. Apply a sufficient amount of PVA glue to the cardboard and glue the burlap to the cardboard blank, pressing firmly over the entire surface and preventing bubbles.
  4. Let the base dry for several hours. To prevent the cardboard from warping, you can put a load on top.

Making blanks for a tree trunk

First, you need to make a sufficient number of blanks for the future trunk. For this, ropes or laces cut into 15-25 cm long pieces are suitable.

Very neat blanks are obtained from multi-layered paper napkins. You will need 2-3 large napkins of any color. Each napkin should be cut into strips about 1.5 cm wide and moistened with plenty of water so that the paper is completely saturated and slightly swollen. Twist the strips into a tight flagellum. There is no need to strive to obtain perfectly even flagella, from blanks with some defects you will get a more realistic and interesting trunk of a money tree.

Contouring a drawing

On the dried burlap with a simple pencil, draw the contours of the future tree. It is advisable to draw the crown as simple as possible, because it will be filled with coins, and a complex drawing simply will not work. But with a tree trunk, you can show imagination: make it curved, highlight individual branches or powerful intertwined roots.

Gluing blanks of a tree trunk

Now you can start the most difficult and responsible part of the work - the formation of the trunk of the money tree. With the help of PVA glue, in a sufficient amount applied to the sacking, you need to glue the flagella from napkins (pieces of rope or lace), trying not to go beyond the contours of the picture. There should be no distance between the workpieces. To get a more interesting pattern, you can bend, twist and cross the blanks, striving to imitate the bark of a real tree.

Formation of the crown of a tree

The crown of the tree is formed by coins.

Money tree made of coins

A glue gun is used to glue the coins. Do not put too much glue on the coins, as it will be difficult to remove.

First, we glue the coins along the contour, then fill in the free space. We glue the coins with an overlap in such a way that the burlap fabric does not show through.

At the end, remove the remnants of the glue from the surface of the coins with a brush or by hand.

Painting painting

  1. We cover the entire surface of the painting with black spray paint, leaving no bald spots. If necessary, paint can be applied in 2 layers.
  2. After the spray paint has dried, you can start painting the money tree. To do this, apply a small amount of bronze or silver acrylic enamel to the surface of the sponge and carefully spread it over the coins and the tree trunk. It is recommended that you first make a proof print on a sheet of paper. It is not necessary to paint the coins and the trunk as a whole, there must be black gaps (crown pattern and “cracks” in the tree trunk). Smooth color transitions on the crown of a tree look very nice. Feel free to experiment with the amount of paint.

After drying, the picture of the coins can be framed and the masterpiece made by yourself can be hung in a conspicuous place.

Painting money tree - a souvenir with meaning

Handicrafts are appreciated more than ever these days. A gift made with one's own hand always contains a piece of the soul of the one who worked on it, he is able to say a lot: about a special attitude, love, respect, warm feelings. A hand-made picture of a money tree, among other things, promises to improve the financial condition of its owner.

The money tree, according to Feng Shui, symbolizes wealth and prosperity, it is responsible for the well-being of the family.

Crafts from coins: panel "Money tree"

By the way, in the East, it is believed that for such a tree to really "work", it needs to find a place in the house from the southeast.

With the help of our clear instructions, photos and videos, this interesting talisman, if desired, will be easy for everyone to make. Such a product can please anyone!

Preparing materials for the picture

To make this financial souvenir, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • the basis for the picture (burlap, canvas or canvas) and the frame;
  • Heavy paper napkins or tea towels
  • different coins;
  • glue gun;
  • PVA glue;
  • kitchen sponge, brush;
  • brown and gold acrylic paint.

Note that the panel turns out to be very weighty due to the coins, so the frame should be chosen quite strong.

This can be, for example, an ordinary wooden frame, while the base for the photo must be dense and strong, since simple cardboard may not withstand the weight of the decor over time and deform. Coins for a painting are suitable for any value, including the smallest. You can specially purchase souvenir plastic coins, they are lighter in weight.

Painting technique

We will describe every step of making such a picture, so that anyone can easily repeat it.

Preparation of the base

The background for the picture can be thick textured paper (for example, wallpaper), canvas, canvas or burlap. It must be glued with PVA to the base for the photo, carefully straightened. In order for the base to be even and beautiful, it must be pressed with glass from the frame until it dries and pressed down with something heavy on top. After everything is well glued, the excess fabric around the edges will need to be carefully trimmed or folded to the wrong side and fixed with glue.

Making the trunk

On paper we will draw a stencil for a tree trunk with roots and branches, cut it out, circle it on the fabric basis of the picture.

Cut paper napkins into strips 1.5-2 cm wide, from which we will make the trunk, branches, roots. To do this, we moisten them a little in water and twist tight bundles, you will need about 30 of them, or even more, depending on the width and height of the tree.

We glue the PVA to grease the trunk on the base a little, and soak the flagella themselves in it completely and glue them to the future picture.

After the trunk is ready, it must be allowed to dry completely.

We glue a crown of coins

The crown of a tree is made of coins, they are glued with a heat gun with transparent glue. You can arrange the money to your liking. Coins, glued randomly in two layers, look beautiful. In this case, the tree turns out to be textured and really rich!

Painting

When all the elements are firmly fixed on the base, the entire picture, including the background, is covered with brown acrylic paint. The product must be painted over very carefully, leaving no gaps, and left to dry.

After the brown color has completely dried, apply a careless layer of golden acrylic paint with a sponge. Particular attention should be paid to the coins, paint over them brighter than the rest of the panel. Let it dry. The frame also needs to be slightly covered with golden paint, so the picture will look more harmonious and holistic.

Registration

After everything is dry, all that remains is to frame the picture.

It's amazing what a rich panel you made with your own hands from such simple things! Taking into account the drying time of the paint, its production will take no more than four hours. Moreover, such a souvenir will be appropriate for any occasion, both for a man and a woman, and will undoubtedly delight the owner of even the most refined taste. After all, such a picture with a money tree not only looks stylish, but also has a certain meaning!
