Heroes tactics description of heroes. Heroes Tactics is a cartoon strategy game with a large selection of heroes. Casual not so much

Based on mobile platforms and focusing on tactical battles. Of course, you shouldn’t expect gameplay identical to the original from a copy, but there aren’t many successful games in this area. For example, in the browser environment there are many relatively mediocre projects about heroes, and some are also constantly being remade from top to toe. Let's get acquainted with the kawaii representative of this heroic bunch, maybe he managed to achieve a high level of quality?

Tactical and strategic

can be safely attributed to two genres at once: tactics and strategy. First, you need to carefully think through the composition of your army, equip your fighters and pump them up (), and then send them to the battlefield and start giving direct commands (). The ratio of genres is approximately equal. The game has a full story campaign, which is designed as a chain of successive levels. Each gamer will have to go through six different “racial-climatic” episodes, fight many monsters and knock out a whole bunch of objects. The latter, by the way, actively use the Korean random system, so it is very likely that you will have to clear the same location ten times until the long-awaited shield of your favorite paladin drops.

A team consists of a maximum of five heroes. After a short training, almost immediately, you will achieve this amount. In general, in the open spaces game world You can get about 30 different creatures that correspond to the original ones: griffins, angels, monks, Cerberus, unicorns, fairies, etc. Each one must be upgraded separately from the others, investing skill points in skills (of which there are four per hero), equipping them with equipment (six pieces each) and evolving. The latter increases all parameters depending on the number of levels taken. At the same time, leveling up your account directly affects the maximum development of heroes, so on the fifth day, you will hit the grind wall. Moreover, this grind is not so much connected with the monotonous cutting of identical opponents (in this regard, the game is just fine), but with the need to gain account experience somewhere. Its main source is daily quests, of which there are not many. When you have completed everything, all you have to do is close the application and wait for a new day. Even copious injections of real money won’t help here, it’s just the way it was intended - measured gameplay.

From time to time you have to clear early levels again to get some loot. This is because by equipping all six items on a hero, you can “solder” (absorb) them. Accordingly, the character will become significantly more powerful, and six new requests for things of a certain type will appear in the clothing slots. This leads to the fact that you are engaged in full-scale pumping on all fronts and there is no end in sight. Knock out another stick, then an amulet, then leggings, combine it all into the first ring, then collect five fragments of the second ring, and add a sword created from 6 ingredients... Finally, the seal for +1000 health is ready. Repeat for the remaining 5 characters, but it’s not a fact that the same thing will suit them. Fortunately, the inventory here is endless, so you don’t need to worry about the number of things you carry, the weight or breakage/repair of your gear.

Donat and what to eat it with

Of course, this is almost the main problem free games, which is. When you first enter the game, a promotion is activated (at least that’s how it was for me): pay $5 to get nice goodies for a month and VIP status. I would like to emphasize right away that this is a very advantageous offer, since I was given a reward for 60 days and even at a 75% discount. But after two months (or if the offer is ignored for three days from the start) you will have to pay $30 for such luxury. How much benefit did I get? Well, as usual in projects of this kind, you can summon a pack of random heroes. It’s just not a fact that it will be the heroes (hello, random) - there could be fragments of objects or pieces of evolution cards. Speaking of which. Evolution means that once you receive a certain hero, you will no longer be able to get a second one of the same kind. Instead, you will start knocking out fragments. Collect 20 pieces, and your ward will receive a second quality star. Another 50 - 3 stars. And so on, until five. But you can find them either in limited daily dungeons, or by purchasing them in a store for a ton of coins/real (if they are generated at all).

Clearing a base location takes six energy points. It recovers, well, very slowly - 1 piece every 10 minutes. You can top up in several not-so-easy ways, the main one of which is to pump up your account level (after a week of playing this happens about once a day). Or you can add 100 friends to your list and beg them daily for 2 units of energy from each. Fortunately, there are buttons “ask everyone”, “collect everything” and “give everyone”. Also, three times a day, you are allowed to receive additional bonuses, but then you have to log in at a certain time within a two-hour period. All this in general makes it possible to spend more time in the game, but as much as you would like. If you expect to sit for days on end doing what you love, then, alas, nothing will work out. So, for example, 12 energy is spent on dungeons at once, but this the only way quickly get hero fragments for evolution (although it’s not a fact that they will fall out).

As for other game systems, such as the arena, there is a limitation on charges. Here, you can PvP sew five times a day for free, and if you want more, pay. Moreover, you need not only to unfasten real currency (gems), but also to acquire a fairly high VIP status. Prices in the game, as is usually customary, do not notice what is happening in the world, as if ignoring the dollar exchange rate and the general decline in people's living standards. Make one elite summon and maybe get a hero? Okay, only $50! At least there are promotions here, with discounts and bonuses. To sum it up, donations are very necessary in the game, at least at the start. This is also connected with another important element - quick battle tickets. I think there’s no need to explain their function; we’ve all played Heroes and know very well how helpful it is when fighting weak enemies. Saves incredible time. VIP-1 will receive 20 tickets per day, which is quite enough for a very comfortable and pleasant pastime. Or you will drain your tablet’s battery, spending an extra hour and a half a day on boring battles.

Casual not so much

To be honest, I can’t call the game arcade or easy. Each hero, as I said, has four abilities. They allow you to create very interesting combinations and builds. For example, on the third turn, the paladin heals himself and all allies around him, while at the same time dealing damage to all hostile undead. If you calculate the time and place correctly, you can easily turn the tide of the battle. For a vampire, enemies do not respond to attacks, but he cannot be healed, so taking your nun into the squad is no longer so profitable. And if you hit hard enough in the first round and have a necromancer, you can easily raise undead from the enemy’s corpse, which can tank a ton of damage and block enemy shooters. Oh yes, about that. The game is characterized by standard Hero tricks: the functions “wait”, “put up a shield”, “cut off damage to shooters if you stand close”, “response attack” and, of course, initiative. All this can and should be actively used in battles to defeat stronger opponents.

By performing normal hits and receiving damage, characters charge their rage gauge, after which they can use a super ability. If you manage to kill the enemy hero, then the indicated scale will be filled by half at once, so it makes sense to choose who to beat whom. Flying creatures can overcome barriers and obstacles through the air, and shooters often impose status effects, be it freezing, setting fire, shock or poisoning. But the most durable and resilient guys are tanks. They move slowly, have a ton of armor and often stun skills that allow you to disable the actions of one enemy for an entire turn. This may seem like a small thing, but in fact it has almost the most significant impact in battles. Sometimes the element of luck also contributes, because some creatures can dodge with a small chance (15%-20%) or deal critical hits.

The total amount of content in the game is huge, but, unfortunately, at the time of writing this review, only a tiny part of all the features has been introduced. No guild wars, no late game, no world bosses. There aren't even rewards for completing three-star levels. Moreover, I didn’t notice much activity from the developers. At the beginning of the month I wrote a letter to the support service, but to this day they ignore me (the problem concerns the inability to log in with Bluestacks via Google account Play, take note). Also, the requests and wishes of the players since the summer months have been ignored. For example, people asked to introduce a function for viewing the skills of those heroes that you do not yet possess, in order to make some plans for the future in advance. We fed the community with promises and breakfasts, without doing anything for six months... On the page

Having reached level 20, you will be able to both create and join existing guilds (each guild has a unique ID). Guild- this is a place where you can communicate with other players through correspondence - regardless of the difference in level, as well as hire other people's characters and rent out your own - using the Hero Exchange function.
A player, having earned 1 VNS in regular locations (i.e. Campaign), additionally gives 1 VNS to his guild. The daily limit of earned stamina cannot exceed 600 units. The maximum guild stamina limit is 200,000 VNS.

Hero Exchange Rules:

1). To earn some gold, send a hero to Exchange. Every time someone rents your hero, you will receive payment in the form of gold. Perhaps thanks to this, your guildmates will be able to complete more difficult levels and locations;
2). If you sent a hero for exchange, you can return him yourself only after 30 minutes;
3). The higher the hero’s rating, the more time he can spend on the Exchange;
4). The higher the hero's rating, the greater the income from the Exchange;
5). Important! Even after sending a hero to Exchange, you will still be able to use him in your battles (except for the Arena).

Renting your own characters:

In the Guild Shop you can purchase equipment of rare and epic quality, as well as dark essence (material for witchcraft), various character cards (stacks of 5 pieces) and experience books (stacks of 20 pieces).
No more than 12 items can be sold at the Guild Shop at a time - 4 equipment, 6 stacks of cards, a dark essence and a stack of experience books. Updating the Shop costs 10 guild coins.

Card (x5). Cost: 500 guild coins; Equipment. Cost: huge range of prices; Dark essence. Cost: 300 guild coins; Hero's Diary (x20). Cost: 200 guild coins.

Twice a day you can use this mode to inflict a small portion of damage on the guild boss and earn an appropriate reward. Keep in mind that your problems in battles will not be the boss himself, but his small evil minions.

Mode rules:

1). To activate the mode, endurance is required;
2). Guild members can only beat the boss one at a time. The boss's health is not restored;
3). So that all guild members have the same chance to fight the boss, each battle lasts no longer than 5 minutes (or 5 rounds);
4). When dealing damage to the boss and completing guild tasks, you can earn guild coins;
5). For defeating special organs of the boss (like the severed tentacles of the Octopus), an additional reward is given, which becomes the property of your guild. To receive it, you need to send a request to your master;
6). After the battle, you can receive guild coins, their amount directly depends on the damage caused;
7). The mode is available from 9-00 to 23-00 server time;
8). Loot distribution upon request is made every hour - from 9-00 to 23-00.

Approximate loot from the guild boss:

Heroes Tactics: PvP strategy is a turn-based strategy game where you fight in an arena. There is no boring construction here, only dynamic fights. In the distant past, there was a tribe of powerful dragons on earth. And at that time they were the wisest and strongest rulers, and humanity lived in prosperity and without wars. But the celestials were angry with people, depriving the weaker sex of the opportunity to procreate. After several generations, of the women who can give birth, Princess Lauralyn remained - a direct descendant of past kings, and the keeper of powerful knowledge. After the curse, angry demons came to the earth and stole the girl. You have to defeat all the enemies guarding the princess and win the heart of the beautiful Lauralyn.

In the starting fights, the hint system will help the player understand the world and the basic principles of combat. You can’t skip training in hero tactics pvp strategy for android, but this is for the best, since the enemies, both in terms of combat qualities and class component, are no worse than your representatives. You can only win with the help of a properly designed strategy. First, you should place your warriors on the battlefield. Unfortunately, the opponents are not shown on it, and the significance of the strategy sags significantly from this. In battle, you will need to use all the skills to correctly use such abilities as: Pause - this command gives the enemy the right to be the first to enter the arena, and, if he runs out of moves, to be the first to attack. Command “Defense” - there are situations when you should not rush into battle, but rather wait or take a defensive stand. The Block command will help you attack or repel powerful attacks. All manipulations will be combined during the battle itself. Tactical talents, as well as individual character abilities that increase the lethality of attacks, will be available for use only once in a fight.

Fighters can be hired, the maximum number of them is five heroes. Each one is unique in its own way. A marksman, for example, can fire at an enemy from a great distance, and a paladin can heal the wounds of his acquaintances. The battle will not be considered lost as long as at least one hero is standing on the enemy team. Characters are strengthened by weapons and uniforms found on the battlefield. For this, six cells will be issued, and when they are all filled, improvements will open for you. The context menu, dialogues and battles are completely Russified.

Main features of Heroes Tactics: PvP strategy:

  • Flexible hero management;
  • Russian-language localization;
  • Pleasant animation;
  • Decently drawn both the background picture and individual characters;
  • Impeccably selected voice acting for all actions;
  • Thousands of real users from all over the world.

IN last years there is a strong feeling that soon it will be possible not to make reviews, but simply point a finger at the games from which they were “made” new game and say - we take this, we remove it here, we add from here, here is a new game. This is if the developers are not completely lazy, because there are a lot of games, and even successful ones, that are essentially no different at all, except for the name and pictures. But is it worth it to play a new game just to change pictures? Tea is not Van Gogh’s paintings or Konstantin Vasiliev’s to admire...

In general, today we have another hybrid of two cult games, both of which have the word heroes in their name - these are heroes of might and magic (which also have a lot of online variations, for example -. The hybrid, by the way, is quite viable, and interesting mainly because this is the first time I personally have come across a game on Android with full step-by-step tactical map battle, that is, you can choose whether to rush forward or sit waiting, cover the archers or rush.

But let's be more specific.

Review of the game Heroes tactics: War & Strategy

Actually, the system of character development and even the general arrangement of locations almost completely copies heroes charges, that is, we hire hero after hero (not stacks of a large number of warriors, but mercenaries), collecting their soul stones, and then gradually equip them, according to the standard scheme - we fill 6 cells, increase the quality and do a new one. Also, don’t forget to upgrade your skills with money.

And the layout of the locations is also similar - there is an arena, a fountain of wishes as an analogue of chests, a tower of heroes as an analogue of tests.

But most of the time, as usual, we go through mission after mission, first the ordinary ones, knocking out the necessary items, or in the elite ones, in addition to the items, we also knock out soul stones in order to collect new heroes.

It is curious that the starting, easily assembled heroes completely repeat the knight branch in the MiM heroes, only instead of units with different characteristics, we hire single mercenaries of approximately equal strength - an archer, a man-at-arms, a griffin, a knight, instead of a monk, a monk, however, the girl is a nun. True, their skills have changed a little, although they have largely retained their roots.

Combat system

According to the combat system, they are typical MiM heroes, but with peculiarities. So, we have a battle map divided into cells along which we can move our characters to kill the enemy and protect ours. In general, the system is classic - there are fast creatures that fly far and hit pretty well, that is, a griffin, there is a slow and sad man-at-arms, but with good defense, there are two ranged warriors - an archer and a nun - priestess Elena, there is a knight who strikes Deals increased damage from a run. And so on, which forces you to think through battle tactics - when is it better to cover your archer and sit on the defensive, when to rush, and when to just wait for the enemies to come within striking distance and bring them down.

One of the important differences is that the skills have become activated, and not randomly triggered, and they are activated according to a painfully familiar pattern - the hero has gained rage, his icon has a golden halo, which indicates that a special skill can be activated. For example, a man-at-arms has the skill of stunning, and unlike original game can stun from a distance, launching a shield and thereby also causing damage. The nun now heals every few turns, but her main skill deals good damage. However, almost all skills cause damage in one way or another, and the higher the skill level of the heroes, the higher the damage.

Summary, review

Overall, the game is quite good, well thought out, and even plays on a phone screen without any problems, although it would seem that the map should be small, but no, the balance is taken into account. At the same time, there is a tactical component; indeed, if you think about it, the chances of winning increase sharply, but you can turn on auto-battle and then the bots will play. However, it is almost impossible to knock out three stars with bots - the vulture flies forward and immediately dies, and 3 stars are needed to open an automatic passage - a raid. Raids with scrolls, knocked out or when purchasing a VIP.

The game, of course, is for thinking people, but there is a condition - for patient thinkers, since battles take a certain time. And here comes the problem - battles without raid passes are really long, and repeated playthroughs are tedious in any case, so either donate or be a very patient player...

And yes, I personally wasn’t hooked and wasn’t carried away by the word at all. Out of politeness, I upgraded the heroes to level 23, brought them to blue quality, but I didn’t see anything in the game that would force me to stay - yes, it’s interesting, but nothing more.
