And the difference between 25 and 48 frames per second feels decent. So Colin McRae DiRT 2 can be safely called demanding on system resources. Buying a graphics card like the Radeon HD 5700 or HD 5800 is more than advisable if you really want to play at high settings and high frame rates. In addition, the new video cards support DirectX 11 (of course, under Vista and Win7), although how it looks under DX11, and what it presents system requirements- I have no idea. I also want to remind readers that Colin McRae DiRT 2 kind of like the first game for DirectX 11, which is why Codemasters delayed its release on the PC for a while.
