How to change the interface in WWII 3.3 5. WWII: interface, addons, settings, graphics and system requirements. Building a WOW user interface

The cult game from Blizzard - World of Warcraft, has long been loved by millions of players around the world. A huge world, many monsters, bosses, unique quests and dozens of character classes - this cannot leave any fan indifferent MMORPG games.

Visualization in WOW

One of the most important aspects of the game for aspiring warcraft players is the design. appearance working screen. Yes, it is at the Second World War that the interface plays a big role in understanding the mechanics of the game and for quickly pouring into game world.

To be honest, the default interface offered to players is extremely inconvenient. Too many convenient things are missing, and their placement on the screen leaves much to be desired. Of course, this is not critical, but nevertheless, starting a long epic in World of Warcraft, you should worry about creating the most comfortable conditions for pumping characters.

Building a WOW user interface

What should a real BOB 3 3 5a game interface look like? The answer to this question is given based on the needs of the player, as well as on the goal of the game.

If a gamer intends to conquer raids as part of a large party of players, then mods for this style must be installed. By analogy, the PVP mode is also used - there are many add-ons that show various effects and help in battle.

In addition, special panels of the WOW interface can be called important, on which the locations of mobs, resources, quest assistants and much more will be displayed. Fortunately, on the Internet, you can find any addon that will make the interface in WWII clear and convenient.

Finding addons for World of Warcraft

Today there are many Internet resources, which are filled with hundreds of all kinds of add-ons to simplify the gameplay.

Immediately you need to make a reservation that you should not download all the add-ons for the WWII interface. It is likely that only a small portion of them will be needed. And an overabundance of installed add-ons can greatly reduce the free space on the screen.

You should also take into account and World version of Warcraft, because when you try to install add-ons for the "WWII Legion" interface to something else, for example, Wrath of the Lich King, critical error and the client will stop functioning.

How to install addons in World of Warcraft

The add-on installation procedure is quite simple and takes place in several stages:

  • First you need to download the addon.
  • After downloading, the archive must be unpacked.
  • Copy the unpacked files to the AddOns directory, which is located in the game folder ( approximate way World of Warcraft / Interface / AddOns).
  • Activate the selected add-on for the WWII interface by going to the game client. To do this, select the "Modifications" item in the menu and mark the add-ons that will be used in the game.

The best World of Warcraft addons

So that you don't bother looking for the best add-ons, below will be a list of the most popular add-ons that make it as easy as possible game process in WOW.

  • Quartz. A very handy addon for the spell panel.
  • OmniCC. Shows the recharge time of all the player's spells, as well as reusable items.

Of course, this is not a complete set of useful addons. But it will become much easier and more enjoyable to play with them. For some users who like to take screenshots or stream their gameplay, the important question is how to remove the interface in WWII.

This can be done in an elementary way, using the default Alt + Z keys. Pressing this combination again will return the interface to its original position.

World of Warcraft system requirements

As for for comfortable game in World of Warcraft, then even the owners of not very powerful machines will be able to play without lags and freezes. The only drawback is that the WWII interface will have to be minimized for weak PCs, but in general this will not greatly affect the quality of the game.

So, the requirements for operating system- from Windows 7 to Windows 10, with the reservation for a 64-bit system.

A 4-core processor is also suitable, but for a comfortable game it is better to use an Intel i7-4770.

An important aspect is the graphics component, but here the game developers allowed the owners of devices with an integrated Intel graphics card to play. Let the game use the minimum characteristics, but nevertheless you can play quite comfortably. If the device is equipped with a discrete graphics card, then NVidia GeForce is preferred, starting with the GTX 520 2GB series. At maximum settings, the game will run in the presence of 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or analog AMD Radeon R9 280, or even higher class.

Equally important is the availability of a stock random access memory... In principle, 4Gb of RAM is enough, but for the best gaming parameters it is worth having 8Gb. Well, don't forget about free space on your hard drive. Must be reserved for the game at least 70 GB.

And of course a stable internet connection is required.

Setting begins with graphics. The most optimal screen resolution is 1280x1024 or higher. This screen size should be set because at a low resolution the text will be seen worse, moreover, the resolution has almost no significant effect on.

Next up are the shadows and textures. Be extremely careful with them, as they significantly reduce. Set textures to 16 bits instead of 32, and turn off shadows altogether, because if you have an average computer, then playing with shadows turned on will not be possible if, for example, you find yourself in a crowd of people.

Set the spell detail level to medium. Abilities and special spells are very difficult to spot at low LOD. Without noticing it, you can die while playing while standing in some kind of cloud that is simply not displayed. Of course, this will lower the frame rate, but by setting everything up correctly, you will stabilize the WoW settings.

Leave the checkbox above the " texture projection ". This is necessary so that when the Flamestrike spell is applied, the range is shown on the ground. If the checkbox is off, then the radius will not be shown and you will have to randomly poke the spell. Also, set the range to a minimum, because you don't need to look far to play in a dungeon or arena, but there is never too much. Customize the rest to your taste, but it's better to leave it as it is.

Setting up your sound starts with enabling the voice chat feature. If you go to random raids, then you will not need it, but automatic voice activation of the microphone is certainly not needed. Ask hotkey so you can speak into the microphone.

Also, if you are a fan of listening to music while playing, then turn off game music, and turn down the sounds of WoW. A quiet sound will not jam the music and will allow you to hear everything that happens around: the sound of a battle, remarks, a warning, etc. Sound quality also has a big impact on game performance.

The last point is for more experienced players. allow you to customize the game to suit your needs and requirements. Each needs to be configured separately. There is not much to describe here, since there are so many, but I advise you to check the box above the line “ Use outdated modifications ". This is done so that some have been updated, not updated, but still continue to function. This completes the basic setup of the game. I advise you to look into the heading and look at the modifications that are useful for yourself -.

Continuing the topic of configuring the interface in World of Warcraft. we have already discussed, now the sequence of button panels. In general, there are a lot of add-ons for modifying button panels, and this is a matter of personal preference. I use Bartender4, which is what I recommend to you.

Download Bartender4 (there is a Russian version) and unpack it into a folder:

World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns \

After installing and running the game, you get this mess:

To call the settings window, type the command / bt4 in the chat

Uncheck the "Lock" option and then you can move the panels:

We arrange the panels according to the plan. This is again a matter of preferences, you can move the chat down and the buttons in the center by a block, or try another option.

Change the scale if necessary. Some people may like the buttons smaller, and you can also make the secondary panels smaller.

Sometimes it may be necessary to shorten the number of buttons so that there are no spaces and empty seats... Everything is set in the settings.

Don't forget about the pet bar, even if you don't have a pet. In many quests you will be given a pet to control. The transport panel is also needed.

Panels not filled with buttons will be transparent and clicks will pass through them. Therefore, do not be afraid to leave extra panels, leave room for quest items, it is more convenient this way.

Here you can also configure the change of panels when changing racks. The main panel will change anyway, but you can make this option for additional panels as well.

Also take a look at advanced options, there is also a lot of useful information. You may also have noticed that you can assign keyboard shortcuts to any panels and any keys. This can be very convenient, because some classes lack standard hotkeys.

After these steps, the interface should become more convenient for you and should not take up much screen space.

In the next guides, we will add information to the interface and configure the raid frame.

This week's topic is modifications.

Modifications, also called addons or UI modifications ( user interface) Is a collection of program code and graphic elements that can be integrated into your World client of Warcraft for different purposes: for example, to change the style of the user interface, change the way information is presented, or otherwise interact with the game. Mods are created by ordinary players who want to tailor something to their needs or optimize the gameplay.

Most often, players use addons that allow you to change the arrangement of user interface elements (such as portrait frames, minimap and control panels) or show useful information, for example, about the amount of damage dealt in a raid or dungeon or healed health. The fact that so many players have fun creating add-ons will allow you to most likely find a suitable mod for almost any whim. And if you don’t find it, there is always an opportunity to try to create it yourself (of course, this requires more or less understanding of programming).

While we are working hard to ensure that custom World interface of Warcraft contains everything you need to play, some players find the use of add-ons quite useful. Someone uses only one or two modifications, and someone and a couple of dozen is not enough!

So, we turn to those who ate the dog on the use of add-ons. What can you, keepers of all near-modification knowledge, advise beginners who are just starting to "taste the water", trying to slightly change their game interface? What can you offer to players who have not yet installed any mods so that their first experience is successful?

If you have not worked with any mod for World of Warcraft, we advise you to read on our forum the topic of installing mods, which is led by players. You can discuss mods, learn how to create them or ask for help from other players in the forum section dedicated to the interface and macros. And if you want to create your own mod, be sure to read the Blizzard UI Mod Development Policy first.

Poll: Addons - Your Opinion

Someone is using mods to change the user interface in the game. Analytical players use them to parse game data or make calculations. Those who are chasing game performance optimization install add-ons to make it easier to use other add-ons. And, of course, there are those who do not bother with them at all.

This week's question is, "What are you using mods for?"

I have published a number of articles that talk about getting started in WoW. If you do not know how to start playing, then I recommend that you read these materials: everything from downloading the game to installing, configuring and solving problems. So:

Download WoW

An article on how and where. It's no secret that finding a client for the game is quite difficult.
