We hand over the task to Mutny. In camp (2) there will be a stalker who will offer to hunt mutants. If you refuse, then later this task will not be available. It is most profitable to give Ilya Barbos's PDA to Mutny. In the same camp (2) a merchant has a quest to find an anomalous plant. (in secret - another merchant will give more money for this plant, so do not rush to give it to the first one) So, Mutny tells the GG that the stalkers went to Maximilian. And that the GG can not waste time and immediately help the latter. Namely, take his thing from the bandits. On the way to the bandits' camp we will pass an anomaly. There is a cave nearby (4). When you find Gena (6), do not rush to kill him - there is no box with him. The gene needs to be injured and questioned. On the way to Gena we search the caves (10) and remove the PDA from the corpse. There is a clue about a good cache. Subsequently, the PDA itself can be sold to the merchant (5) You can also give the technique (5) the Fierce PDA with further a simple quest on the search for the trunk (the cache will appear on the map (8)). On the same base (5), you can complete a quest from the stalker Arthur sitting in the basement - he will throw some money and an artifact. You don't have to run far, so you can do it right away. So, we run with Maximilian to the place (11). There we are already met by his comrades-in-arms. We clean the mercenary base (9). If Maximilian survived, then we talk to him and he sends us to Radik. If he didn't survive, then a mark on the map will appear where Radik is (12) We go to Radik, not forgetting to take with us 5-6 units of something edible (bread, sausage, canned food, cake for tea ...) On the way, in one of the anomalies (13), lies the corpse of a soldier (from a missing helicopter), from whom we take the key. We meet with Radik, we give him provisions. He says that the guys were captured by mercenaries and kept them at their main base (14). Gives the PDA Goonies. Offers to cooperate - we agree. We read the dialogues about the Radik plan. And the first thing is to get a hiring suit. You do not need to search for it, because he was in a parcel that the GG took from the bandits. We run to the stalkers' base (5). On the way, we find a fallen helicopter and a box next to it (15). We already have the key - we open it, take it away. The task on the laptop can be taken (5). On the way to the stalkers' base, you can complete the quest for a new merchant (9). At least it is worth taking - another cave will become available for visiting. At the stalkers' base, we take the mercenary costume. We read the dialogue, look around, recruit another stalker into the group. Together we go to Radik (12). We speak with Radik. We carry out an easy task to find a mercenary PDA. Now a complete set - a suit and a hiring PDA. We break through with Radik's detachment through dense rows of mutants closer to the mercenary camp (16). Then the GG must go alone. We make sure that the GG is dressed in the right suit and there is a hiring PDA in the inventory. We calmly go to the mercenary base (14) - they take the GG for their own. We are looking for hostages. When the GG is revealed, we will motivate hiring. If Radik's squad survived, good. If not, that's okay. The microcircuit is at Oleg, who is hiding not far from the containers (19). We take the microcircuit from Oleg and hand it over to Mishka Tesla (18). He will give a simple task to clean up the area - we will do it. Next, we go from Tesla to the place of teleportation (20). Install the scanner, jump into the anomaly. We go into the cave, kill the mutants, find the artifact and the corpse of Coward (don't forget about the detector - there are artifacts there). We remove the PDA. We go back, watch the cutscene. They took everything from GG except the CCP. We run to Maximilianu (9), if he is alive and tell about what happened. He will give the key to his personal box at the base of stalkers and tell you what to do. If Maximilian is dead, then we immediately break into the stalkers' base (5), find Volodya there, get ready. In the cave, do not forget about the detector - there are artifacts there. Well, for the sake of entertainment, you can take tourists along the valley (22). As you get bored - we leave the Zone.

Who doesn't know the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game? Of course, there are no such people. "Stalker" is a game of the last decade that is still popular and has a huge audience. The main indicator that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. still alive, is the regular release of new mods. Each of them is unique in its own way and gives the game new colors, expanding the gameplay. Mod "Stalker: Valley of the Shorokhov" was no exception to the rule and opened new world, bringing many satisfied players back to the world of the Exclusion Zone.

Brief description of the mod

The world of fashion is limited to only one location, and to get to places from original game players are not provided with opportunities. However, "Stalker: Valley of the Shorokhovs" is a game full of all sorts of little things. Yes, there is only one location in it. But it is so detailed and extensive that the player will have where to roam.

Several new artifacts have been added to the mod, original and interesting quests, new monsters have appeared. So, thanks to the richness of “Stalker: Call of Pripyat. Valley of the Shorokhovs "can be safely called a real full-fledged game, not a mod.

Plot tie

So the action begins. The plot is tied to the fact that a local artifact merchant, Beard, received an order to search for a very rare and valuable anomalous formation. Ordinary stalkers call it "The Heart of the Oasis". Beard collects information about this artifact, and then entrusts the search to three of his friends. Thanks to either irony or sense of humor of the creators, but their names are Goonies, Cowards and Experienced. However, for unknown reasons, they all mysteriously disappear.

The protagonist of the game, the stalker Maxim, takes on the task of finding the missing guys. Max is a seasoned adventurer who decided to save up more money in the Zone before leaving it. The received order should be the last and key in his life.

The first steps

This is how the story of "Stalker: Valley of the Shorokhovs" begins. Passage of the main storyline takes about 3 - 4 hours. The amount of time spent on the game depends on the style chosen by the gamer. Someone breaks forward with a fight, scattering opponents in different directions. Some choose the slow but safe path, shooting off zombies and mutants in small groups and collecting items dropped from them.

Getting into the Valley of Rustles, the protagonist immediately meets two stalkers not far from the cave. A dialogue ensues between them. The stalkers report that there is an artifact in the cave, and their friend, who tried to get it, is most likely already dead. In Max's cave, trouble awaits in the face of several zombies. Having dealt with them, the main character finds the body of a failed artifact seeker and the artifact itself. Having solved a small puzzle with portals, the protagonist gets out of the cave and continues on his way, taking some of the deceased's things.

New acquaintances

So, the adventures of the gallant stalker continue. After going a little further, Max finds himself in a small settlement, where you can take a task (get a flash drive in exchange for information about the missing). In general, in terms of the number of interesting quests, there is no mod better than "Stalker: Valley of the Rustles". The compass will be a great helper. With its help, it will not be difficult for Max to find the lair of the bandits, from whom he needs to take away the flash drive.

Running errands again

After wandering around the camp a bit and completing several side quests, it's time to go to help Maximilian. After meeting with him, the attack on the enemy base will begin. The firefight is pretty intense, but worth it. After the end of the battle, Maximilian will reward the protagonist with a good amount of ammunition, first aid kits and other useful things. However, no information can be obtained from him. Instead, Max is sent back to meet with another assistant. This time it will be Radik, who needs to carry some food.

There is another camp on the way to Radik's lair. In it you can execute additional quests... For each of them, the protagonist will receive a certain amount of money, equipment and ammunition. In fact, it is worth completing them, because in "Stalker: Valley of the Rustles" the passage of the main campaign takes only a small part of the playing time. Completing side quests, for which the most best awards, is the main part of the gameplay.

The fate of missing friends

Max arrives at the place, which turns out to be a dark cave, in which Radik and his fighters took refuge. After talking with him and giving the brought food, the protagonist finally learns about what happened to the missing stalkers. According to the story, they were in Radik's squad. However, Coward left the company long before the events took place. Not reaching the destination quite a bit, Radik's squad was attacked. Goonies, unfortunately, did not manage to survive the battle, and the poor fellow Experienced was captured along with another comrade.

After such a heartbreaking story, the planning of the rescue operation begins. The protagonist offers help to Radik in this situation. But it's not that simple. The operation will not be a classic carnage, but a thoughtful stealth mission. After destroying several military men, taking off their uniforms and obtaining a PDA, Max disguises himself as a mercenary and infiltrates the enemy base. Experienced there is no longer. His further fate is unknown.

So, another turn of events in the game "Stalker: Valley of the Shorokhovs". The passage of the next part begins with the fact that the protagonist has to cling to the last remaining thread, which will allow him to learn about the fate of the missing stalkers. Max goes in search of Coward. After talking with some of the main characters, the main character learns that the Coward has gone to look for the artifact. Apparently, exactly the one that Beard ordered them.

An unexpected new friend

It turned out that in order to get to the plateau to which the Coward went, you need to teleport. To do this, you need to use a special device that was created by a stalker named Tesla. The creators weren't very zealous, coming up with names for the characters in the "Stalker: Valley of the Rustles" mod. The passage of the further part of the path is complicated by the fact that part of this device, or rather a microcircuit, was stolen by a bandit named Oleg. The main character goes in search of him.

It is possible to find Oleg quite quickly. But it will be problematic to win. After all, he is protected by a detachment of mercenaries. And Oleg himself is not going to die, defending himself with a machine gun. However, having defeated the thief, the hero returns to Tesla. He will fix the device and agree to keep company to the place of teleportation and help make it happen.

Coward's Fate

After teleportation, the protagonist finds himself in another cave. It is teeming with various mutants: rats, zombies, and even the controller comes across. Defeating all these many enemies and deciding new puzzle connected with anomalies, Max learns the fate of Coward. Unfortunately, he died. The corpse of an unlucky stalker lies just a few meters from the desired target. At the end of the cave is the "Heart of the Oasis" artifact. Poor Coward was only a few steps away from him.

However, the same stalkers who helped him to get to the cave do not give the artifact to the Beard calmly and fulfill the order for Max. The bandits rob the protagonist right at the exit, taking away all the equipment and weapons. "Stalker" is a game with unpredictable plot twists. But this is no longer an original technique.

Restoration of justice

Max has to return with a completely empty inventory to Maximilian for help. Having laughed a little at the carelessness of the protagonist, the seasoned stalker sends him to Volodya "Bolshoi", who can help. In addition, the generous Maximilian gives him his equipment and weapons.

After a short walk, Max meets Bolshoi and his men. Volodya, like Maximilian, taunts the failed treasure hunter, but agrees to help. The detachment acts on the place of deployment of the deceivers who robbed Max. After a small skirmish, all the bandits are dead, including the former "friend" of the protagonist Tesla. After searching the corpses, you can, in addition to the "Heart of the Oasis", find several items related to side quests.

Adventure ends

After that, it is worth wandering a little around the Zone, performing side quests... They are quite varied, as always in the game "Stalker": tools to find, investigate an anomaly, go on a raid on bandits and the like.

After saving up money, improving your weapon, passing all the desired quests, it's time to finish the passage. You can end the game by leaving the Zone through a special passage. There will be no special videos at the end, only a few inscriptions describing the fate of some characters at the end of the adventures in the Zone.

Of course, you can still discuss the passage of side quests for a long time, interesting places with hiding places full good equipment etc. In addition, there are codes for "Stalker: Valley of the Rustles", thanks to which you can spend a few extra hours playing the game, having fun in every possible way.

Summarizing

This mod is one of the most complete, rich, varied for recent times... In addition, the plot, unlike most others, is also at its best in this mod. The presentation is unhurried, all the characters are in their places, there is no absurdity in the dialogues, there is quite a lot of humor. Besides, the plot is very changeable. It is simply impossible to get bored going through the Valley of Rustles.

It should be noted that the cut-scenes are perfectly done. Although they were created by non-professional developers, but by amateur modders, they are made very high quality. All of them are well animated, reveal all the key events of the plot. In addition, there are a lot of them, they are rich and pleasing to the eye.

In addition to the plot component, I would like to separately note the location "The Valley of Rustles". She is beautiful and harmonious. There are no overcrowded and overdeveloped areas, as well as deserted and boring places. Interesting design solutions are encountered at every step. Whether it's an intricate labyrinth of caves or an intricately built mercenary base.

But the entire community of Stalker fans is looking forward to, if not a continuation, then at least some new projects from the authors of the wonderful mod. In the meantime, you can still run the "Valley of Rustles" a couple of times, discovering new nuances and interesting moments wonderful fashion. Thanks to the developers for many hours of great gameplay. Almost anyone who starts playing this mod goes through it to the end. After all, it is almost impossible to come off, given the entire exciting atmosphere of the game, deeply conveyed by the developers. Everyone is wondering whether "Stalker: Valley of the Shorokhov-2" will come out, but so far there is no information about this.
