Information about new parameters will become available to you, such as masking technique, angle values vertical guidance and some others. Also, dynamic changes in performance characteristics will be added depending on installed equipment, modules, consumables (including camouflage), skills and abilities of the crew. It will be possible to familiarize yourself in advance with the characteristics of a new, not yet purchased tank and carefully examine it appearance.

New format of performance characteristics

In the game settings, it will be possible to choose the usual format for displaying vehicle parameters or switch to a new one - the so-called simplified performance characteristics. To do this, go to the settings menu and check or uncheck the box "Show simplified performance characteristics in the Hangar".

Simplified performance characteristics- this is highlighted groups of characteristics, combining parameters that are similar in their influence on the conduct of a battle. We have divided all parameters into five groups: firepower, survivability, mobility, camouflage, surveillance.

  • Firepower - a group of parameters describing the combat qualities of the gun and aiming parameters:
    • basic projectile damage;
    • armor penetration of the basic projectile;
    • rate of fire of the gun;
    • gun reload time;
    • horizontal guidance speed;
    • turret traverse speed;
    • turret rotation angles;
    • vertical guidance angles;
    • horizontal guidance angles;
    • reloading the magazine / drum (if any);
    • information time;
    • spread over 100 meters;
    • average damage per minute.
  • Vitality - a group of parameters that affect the combat qualities of the tank, increasing its survivability in battle:
    • the number of points of strength;
    • hull armoring;
    • armoring the tower.
  • Mobility - a group of parameters that describe the mobility of the machine:
    • mass / maximum mass of the tank;
    • engine power;
    • specific power (ratio of tank mass and engine power);
    • maximum speed forward and backward;
    • chassis swing speed.
  • Disguisea new parameter indicating the effectiveness of the camouflage of the tank:
    • invisibility of a stationary vehicle (before and after the shot);
    • invisibility of the vehicle in motion (before and after the shot);
  • Observation a group of parameters that affect the efficiency of detecting enemy vehicles and radio communication with allies:

    • communication range.

Dynamic performance characteristics

Dynamic parameters are called parameters that can change their value after the installation of equipment, as you study the main specialty of tankers, as well as skills and abilities, the installation of various equipment and new modules. Changes in performance characteristics in one direction or another will be displayed in the Garage. So, for example, if the entire crew has mastered the Combat Brotherhood skill, you will be able to see the effect it has on the parameters of the combat vehicle.

Also, informational messages that appear when you hover and hold the cursor on the icon of a module or equipment have changed. Now from them you will not only receive general information about the module, but also learn in advance about the changes in performance characteristics that will occur after its installation. This will allow you to be aware of what and how exactly the module or equipment affects, and to make an informed decision.

In addition to dynamic performance characteristics, other information appeared on the pop-up screens. For example, notifications describing projectiles now contain data on armor penetration at a distance.

Vehicle preview mode

You will have the opportunity to study in detail new tank before buying, and not only its fighting qualities, but also its appearance: players will have access to a preview of a combat vehicle that has not yet been purchased in the Garage. You can access the preview screen from the research tree, from the Warehouse, or from the Store.

While viewing, you will see what the vehicle looks like, you will be able to find out the performance characteristics in various configurations of modules (for example, with a basic or "top-end" weapon) and get a general idea of ​​the tank's features.

Cars have many characteristics that are displayed in the hangar: armor thickness, one-time damage, vision, radio range, etc. But what many players do not know is that there are characteristics that are not available in this way. An extremely important hidden characteristic of machines is soil resistance, in other words, cross-country ability... This is an extremely important characteristic that greatly affects the dynamics of the tank as a whole. Developers are trying to give virtual machines engines similar to real ones, in other words, give them the same amount of horsepower.

But due to the balancing requirements, the virtual tank needs to be made either more mobile than the real prototype, or less. Moreover, this difference can be very significant. For example, in reality, American Chaffee with great difficulty, he gained maximum speed even on good soils, and in the game and on weak grounds it both accelerates and turns well.

In other words, the specific engine power, which is indicated in the performance characteristics of the tank in the hangar, says little without meaning. cross-country ability... The tank can have a powerful engine, but poor dynamics precisely because of the mediocre cross-country ability.
