We dive into the world of the detective role-playing game The Сouncil
All of this is in abundance in it, but in addition there is a great variety of passage. The development of the story and the comments of the heroes are influenced not only by your choices that you make at key points in the plot, but also by many not obvious things. For example, upon arrival at the estate, you may not follow to the bed in your own room, but stroll through the halls. This decision will lead you to an unexpected meeting and help you better understand the situation. Your observation can be crucial, too.
Quite a few Early Access games remain raw and uninteresting. What can not be said about Warbands Bushido - a domestic tabletop turn-based wargame, which has come to the liking of thousands of fans board games from all over the world. We decided to find out the secret of success and turned to Konstantin Slepchenkov, the art director of Red Unit Studios, which is headquartered in the city of Orel. According to information from your studio's website, Warbands is, in the future, a series of games ...
Wreckfest is racing simulator from the well-known developer Bugbear Entertainment with a detailed system of car damage, deep study of upgrades and complex driving dynamics. The game focuses on two modes - Demolition Derby and the traditional racing mode. And if everything is clear with the usual racing mode, then what is Demolition Derby? In this mode, you and your friends (or other players) will find yourself in a rather small racing arena and your only task will be to earn as many points as possible.
Are there many games with a minimum of violence among them that even small children can play? Perhaps less than half. How many of them do you need to think about? An unforgivable little! How many of them should you dig? Units! How many of them are about geeky robots who work in pairs and live in the wild west? Steamworld dig only. Wait, but the sequel came up. Steamworld dig 2 is one of the most sticky and long lasting members of its kind. All the same, only a little prettier sequel as the Steamworld dig 2013 release.
But can football be turn-based? Will it lose the dynamic that has been so praised by football officials who have opposed the introduction of a video replay system? Indeed, the football we are accustomed to, at first glance, is much more difficult to make friends with a turn-based mode than its American counterpart. The latter already has a very successful Blood Bowl series. But in the amphute, the phases of attack and defense are much more pronounced. In soccer, the ball can constantly move from team to team. Did the developers manage to convey the specifics of the game through step-by-step
When creating maps for minecraft, many people have a desire to create quests, that is, tasks for players - such as "Kill 5 zombies", "Get 3 diamonds", etc. Previously, players simply created tasks for the players, and the player himself had to count how much he killed, how much he collected, in general, he himself must control the execution of quests, while any task can be skipped and go to the next one, you must admit that it was completely wrong. But times are changing, command blocks and very useful commands have appeared in the game, now you can do almost anything in minecraft, but with knowledge of programming and a desire to study the commands of the game, which are not written about so often. In this article, you will learn how to assign products that the villager sells and buys.
To summon a villager with any goods for sale, use the Summon command. Use newest version Minecraft or use the command of your version. The commands will be quite long, so not all of them will fit into the chat, in which case the command block is used.

Orienteering on the ground
The world of Minecraft is huge and diverse, in its countless forests, fields and mountains, you can easily get lost. So, if you decide to go on a long journey, then in order to return to your home or the point of resurrection later, you need to immediately remember which way you went.
The simplest and most in an efficient way is the definition of the cardinal points (north, south, west, east).
Orientation by heavenly bodies
Minecraft. Survival
You can determine the cardinal points in Minecraft, as in life, by the heavenly bodies: the sun, the moon (and that's all starry sky) always move from east to west.
In addition, air clouds also always move from east to west (this is illogical, but this is the case in the game).
So, we look at the sky, determine where the west is and where the east is. We stand so that the east is to the right of us, and the west is to the left. Now we lower our head to a normal position, right in front of us will be north, and behind us will be south.
Orientation by block textures
Minecraft. Survival
In life, vegetation is a very noticeable reference point for determining the cardinal points: tree branches on the north side are shorter, and on the south, longer; if there is moss at the base of the tree, there is more of it on the north side; grass stalks are juicier on the south side; flowers are always slightly inclined to the south. (Naturally, all this is true only for the northern hemisphere of the Earth).
Unfortunately, in Minecraft, such natural landmarks are not observed, but instead there is another, but very similar method - determining the cardinal points by block textures.
On the surface of the earth, determining the cardinal points by textures can only serve as additional way but deep underground where you can't see heavenly bodies, all that remains is to peer at the textures of the blocks.
Stone(Stone) top view A light 2x2 square is located closer to the south side. |
Gravel(Gravel) top view Only on the west side, on the edge, there is a line of 2 light points. There are many dark dot corners throughout the gravel texture, all facing southeast. |
||
Earth(Earth) top view Only on the west side is a gray dot adjoining the edge. |
Grass(Grass) top view On one side there is a group of 5 light points - this side is always directed to the West. |
||
Sand(Sand) top view Only on the east side is there a group of 3 dark dots. |
Snow(Snow) top view Only on the west side, on the edge, there are no dark dots at all. On the east side, on the contrary, all points are dark. |
||
Wood(Tree) top view Only on the western side, at the edge, there are 2 long dark stripes. |
Planks(Wood) top view The darkest point is located at the edge of the south side. There are two dark stripes on the east side. |
||
(Bench) top view Only on the western side, closer to the edge, is there a long dark brown stripe. |
(Furnace) top view Only on the south side is there a long, light streak of pixels. |

Orientation with the Debug Screen
Minecraft. Secrets
Press F3 to open the debug screen. The "f" coordinate is responsible for the direction in which the player is looking. Decoding:
F: 0 (SOUTH) - looking south,
f: 1 (WEST) - look to the west,
f: 2 (NORTH) - look north,
f: 3 (EAST) - look east.
If the value along the Z-axis decreases, you move north, if it increases, you move south. If the value on the X-axis decreases - you move west, increases - you move east. The Y coordinate indicates the current altitude.
Torch lanes
Minecraft. Orientation
If you don't want to get lost in the world of Maincraft, and always want to find your way back to your home, then you should leave some signs on your way. These can be blocks of artificial material, but it is better to place torches, because they will be clearly visible even on a dark night. It is best to expose three torches at once, building a corner or a small arrow from them (with a corner forward, and with two torches on the sides - towards the house). It is better to place the torches at such a distance that the previous point from the torches can be seen from the new point.
If you build a lot of such torch paths, then it is worth using pointers to write on them where the path leads.
Highway
Minecraft. Orientation
Another way not to get lost in world of minecraft is the construction of the highway.
The highway is a long, perfectly straight road. It is very easy to build it: we take a pickaxe, a shovel, an ax; we choose the direction and move forward, without turning anywhere and without changing the height. We destroy all oncoming blocks blocking the path with a suitable tool; we fill all the chasms with the accumulated blocks of earth and stone. We place torches on the sides of the highway. You can put blocks on the left and right so that the highway is visible on a flat area of terrain. You can also put blocks, and then put torches on them only from a certain side (towards the house), so that later you can determine which direction of the road will lead where.
Such a perfectly flat road, the path will be visible from afar, thanks to the illumination from the torches. The longer the road, the less chance you will pass it when you get lost. And having found the highway, you will immediately understand where to go to the house.
A little later, when you have accumulated enough iron, gold and red dust, you can turn the highway into railroad, and move along it on a cart with great speed.
Lighthouses, towers
Minecraft. Passing maps
If you are not satisfied with the large number of torches that need to be spent on the construction of the path, or the fact that they are difficult to see in dense forests and jungle, then you can use another method to mark your paths - to build a tower.
Usually, such orienteering towers are built in one block with a width and height from ten blocks to the maximum height of the world. From above, you can add torches to the tower from all sides, then you get something like a lighthouse.
When building a very high pillar, a problem arises - after completing the work, you need to somehow jump down to the ground and not crash. This should be foreseen and a small reservoir should be dug under the tower, at least 2x2 in size. After the jump, you can bury it. Or you can take a bucket of water with you, pour the water from the post, and immediately jump off after the water. As a result, the water will slowly carry you down.
One of the varieties of orienteering towers are lava pillars. The main thing is to get the main ingredient - lava. To do this, you have to go down deep underground with a bucket, find a lava lake, and pick up one block of lava.
Before building a lava pillar, it is better to put all valuable items in the chest so as not to lose them in case of death. We build an ordinary pillar, attach one block to the side at the top, stand on it, pour lava onto the central block. We jump down. It is better to build a one block high fence from below so that the lava does not spread far.
Mincraft has a small glitch when pouring liquid (water, lava) - under certain conditions, the flow of liquid will be endless. Thus, from our lava pillar, there will be an endless flow of lava along its entire height, although we used only one lava bucket for this.
Compass
Minecraft. Orientation
A very convenient navigation tool is compass... The finished compass is usually laid out in one of the quick access slots, so it will always be in sight.
