How to raise alchemy in Skyrim. Alchemy in Battle for Azeroth: leveling guide. Leveling alchemy in Battle for Azeroth

Of course, crafting health and mana potions isn't all you get from high skill alchemy. In addition, the game has many options for using this skill, which will be presented below:

  1. Selling potions - if you have a well-developed trade and alchemy, you can easily create a small business in the game. By collecting the most common herbs and learning a few recipes, you can easily brew the same potions in dozens or even hundreds of them. Selling potions to merchants and magicians, you can earn thousands of coins per game day.
  2. Poisons - if you want to poison your enemy, then apply prepared poisons to the blade or arrows. Thus, you can do much more damage to your enemies, and the development of alchemy will only improve the power of the poison.
  3. Rare potions - some recipes cannot be bought anywhere and the only solution is to create it yourself. By mixing different ingredients, you can create a completely original potion that can greatly increase your chances in many endeavors. For example, you can create a powerful blacksmithing potion, thanks to which you can create almost impenetrable Daedric armor.

Alchemy boost

In total, there are two common methods of developing the skill of alchemy, the first is honest, the second is not.

1. Just brew potions and sell them to merchants. To do this, buy or collect several different types of ingredients and try to brew a potion. In the future, brew only those potions for which you have access to a large number of ingredients. Also, do not forget to learn abilities in the Alchemy branch, for example, "Alchemist", thanks to which you can brew potions and poisons 20, 40, 60 and 80% faster. Of course, this method of developing alchemy will take you a lot of time, but it is absolutely honest.

Alchemy Cheat Codes

2. Brew potions using codes. This method is almost indistinguishable from the first, but only you will extract the ingredients using the code. To do this, open up a console and enter:

player.additem 0004B0BA 200 - using this code, you will receive 200 wheat.

player.additem 00077E1C 200 - this code will give you 200 pieces of blue mountain flower.

Thus, you will get 200 ingredients, mixing which you can create a little less than 200 potions. As a rule, so many ingredients will be enough to reach level 100 alchemy, if not, then use the provided codes again. Now you know how to pump alchemy in Skyrim. Using tricks and codes, do not forget that the main pleasure in Scarima or in other similar games is not the victory itself, but the process of achieving it!

We'll start with alchemy, and for this reason: in the game, the buildup of this skill seemed to me the most expensive due to a number of factors.

1. The first and main factor - Simple potions will not pump a skill much.

With simple potions, you can pump the skill for a very long time, since in the mechanics of the game, skill leveling depends not on quantity, but on quality... Let's say the skill of wearing a heavy or light armor depends not on how many times you were kicked, but how much damage this blow inflicted on you.

for one can, it can increase the existing level by about 10-15% of the strip.

Another omission in the game is that collateral- unnecessary alchemical effects only increase the cost of the potion. Although, according to the logic of things, a poison that simultaneously deals damage and heals it is complete nonsense, but this nonsense will cost more than a poison that deals damage and takes away magic, for example.

I think you will immediately see that complex potions are much more expensive than simple potions.

Since pumping alchemy directly depends on the quality of the potions, I will immediately answer your question:

Yes, if you put on things for the bonus to the creation of potions, then the cost of the created potions will increase greatly, but, alas, this will hardly affect the leveling of the skill.

Here is the cost of the crafted potion without items that give a bonus to the strength of crafted potions.

And here is the cost of the created potion brewed in things that give a bonus to the strength of the created potions.

2. The second factor arising from the first is that to create complex potions, you need to have a lot of different ingredients.

Therefore, it is banal to collect all the fly agarics that we collect, all the fingers of the giants, all the eggs. We save up everything, everything that can be collected, stolen, bought! Yes, buy, so you need to earn septims. (Fortunately in Skyrim this is not a problem)

3. The third factor - with an increase in skill in Alchemy, pumping begins to slow down.

This is expressed in the following, if with an alchemy skill of 25 you make a potion - Regeneration of Magic (Salt + Garlic) and to raise from 25 to 26 you need to make 10 cans, then to raise from 30 to 31 you already make 13 cans.

In view of what I rocked alchemy in three steps:

From 1 to 40 can be pumped by creating simple potions.

From 40 to 70-80 he studied mind to mind at Arcadia, in Whiterun. At the same time, he collected, bought, stole tons of ingredients.

Where all the teachers of alchemy live, I do not remember, and it is not necessary, just look here.

From 80 to 100 he pumped exclusively by creating complex poisons and potions.

A tip for those suffering from munchkinism

If you started the game again and suffer from munchkinism, then go immediately to the second or third level to Whiterun. Kill the dragon, collect and sell all the trash that has become "white", for the Jarl is generous. You can now take 90% of the trash out of Whiterun and sell it. Having got septims, each LVL AP do not forget to learn alchemy, so, without leaving the cashier, you can raise the skill to 70 and at the same time pump the hero to level 20. (of course, if you have money, or if you use a hole, on the return of "septims" after training)

Those who do not "rummage" in alchemy, I will conduct a master class.

We look all over here

Using an example, I'll show you what's what.

We look at what we have in our inventory and select an ingredient, say Dragon tongue... We select the property we like on the plate - Fire resistance and Skill Upgrade: Two-Handed Weapon.

Now we are looking for an ingredient that has these properties, plus some other positive properties. (negative is also possible) Let it be Fly agaric- our potion will have two properties. Now you need to add such an ingredient to "open" a couple of properties of the potion. We look at what Fly agaric has properties? - This Rabies and Regeneration of stamina.

Alchemist 5/5(Potions and poisons are 20% stronger (+ 20% for each additional level of ability) - well, I see, good potion- strong potion.

Healer(Your potions that restore health, magic or stamina are 25% more effective) - a passed ability to take the next ability.

Pharmacist(Potions can be created that will have 25% more beneficial effect)

As you can see, I took only the most necessary abilities to enhance the potions I received.

Alchemy will be useful for a character of any bias. In most cases, the most basic will be enough - potions to restore health, magic or stamina, and poisons will allow the weapon to do more damage. With a deeper understanding of the properties of ingredients, you will be able to brew potions that mimic the effects of many (though not all) magic spells and enchantments. Although you can see various potions on sale, knowledge of alchemy will provide you with the opportunity to create more powerful potions than purchased ones.

Making potions

Alchemy in Skyrim can be practiced only in specially designed and equipped places - alchemy laboratories (Alchemy Labs). To create a potion or poison, you must combine two or more ingredients that have the same magical effects. If their common property is useful (for example, health restoration), then you will create a potion, if it is negative (for example, health damage), then you will get poison. Multiple effect potions can be crafted if the ingredients being mixed have more than one effect.

Each ingredient has a total of four effects. Eating an ingredient always unlocks its first property, taking the "Experimenter" perk allows you to discover the rest of the properties when consumed, depending on the rank of the perk (see the table of perks below). The effects can also be discovered through experimentation if a potion is successfully created by combining the ingredients. When you select one ingredient, all others that you previously tried to combine with and failed with will be grayed out. Unlike Oblivion, here your character's Alchemy level does not affect which effects can be unlocked and used.

The value of the Alchemy skill, alchemy perks and the increase in skill by equipping enchanted items determine the strength of any potion or poison created by your character. In turn, practical training in mixing potions and poisons causes an increase in the skill of Alchemy.

You can brew potions according to the recipes found in the game, or simply combine different ingredients at random. In addition, you can carefully look around and find something in common between the ingredients - plants growing close to each other often have similar effects (for example, purple mountain flower and thistle, lavender and red mountain flower), and insects that feed on flower nectar. In addition, the placement of ingredients side by side in kitchens, sales counters and laboratory tables usually indicates that they are combined.

Alchemy Skill Perks

The Alchemy perk tree consists of 9 perks, requiring a total of 15 perk points. The perks of this skill allow you to open more effects when eating ingredients, increase the effectiveness of created potions and poisons, remove positive effects from poisons and negative effects from potions, in addition, collect twice as many ingredients from plants.

In Skyrim, a character at any level of the Alchemy skill can brew a potion from any ingredients, however, the full disclosure of all the properties of ingredients is possible only with the Experimenter perk. Here we mean honest disclosure in the game, without using third-party tips like this one;) The trial and error method will allow you to discover the rare and most powerful effects only after a lot of effort and the cost of ingredients.

The "Herbalist" perk allows you to collect additional ingredients from all plants (with the exception of Nirn root plants), from clusters of sea acorns, from nests with bird eggs, but not from various creatures, including passive ones (fish, butterflies, bees, dragonflies , fireflies, birds).

Those who are very interested in increasing the power of mixed potions and poisons should definitely take the following perks - "Alchemist" from 1st to 5th ranks, "Healer", "Pharmacist" and "Poisoner". At the same time, the presence of things enchanted for increasing the Alchemy skill will become an additional plus to the above perks. And if your character actively uses poisons in battles, then the "Concentrated Poison" perk will also come in handy.

Note: before leaving official patch 1.9 to take the "Purity" perk, the "Serpent's Blood" perk was not required, it was necessary to take the "Experimenter" perk. In patch 1.9.26.0.8 this bug was fixed, now the Experimenter perk is not needed to take the "Purity" perk, the development proceeds according to the perk tree (see the picture on the right).

Potion cost and experience gained

The increase in experience when practicing Alchemy proportionally depends on the cost of the created potion, that is, the more expensive the potion turns out, the more experience the character will get. The amount of experience gained is very well affected by an increase in skill by equipping enchanted things (as much as possible to put on a character: gloves, a hat, a ring and an amulet). So, + 100% to Alchemy means getting XP for each brewed potion twice as much as usual. Therefore, it is worth pumping the Enchanting skill first in order to acquire enchanted gizmos. You should also take the perks "Alchemist", "Healer", "Pharmacist" and "Poisoner" as soon as possible.

The most expensive effects (when using common ingredients) are paralysis, magic damage, invisibility, and slow. However, potions with a large number of different effects can be more valuable in gold terms than potions with one expensive effect. You also need to take into account the fact that from some special ingredients you can create potions with exactly the same effects, but much more power and cost. For example, a giant's finger produces a health boosting potion that costs 5.9 times more than other ingredients with the same effect. Such a health boost potion is more valuable than a paralysis potion. The most expensive potions you can create are:

With the finger of a giant:

Bearded Moss + Bear Claws + Giant's Finger or Blue Butterfly Wing + Blue Mountain Blossom + Giant's Finger

Without the giant's finger:

Glowing Dust + Glowing Mushroom + Bearded Moss or Creeping Vine + Big Horns + Betta Fish

Special ingredients

Some ingredients have magical effects with non-standard values of magnitude, respectively, from them, potions of unusual strength and cost are obtained. For example:

  • Betta Fish (2.5 x Magnitude): Health damage potions created with these fish will be 2.5 times stronger.
  • Nirn Root (12.6 x Value): Health damage potions blended based on Nirn roots will cost 12.6 times the price.

When using non-standard ingredients in potions, the ultimate potency and cost of the potion is determined by the highest priority of the ingredients. In the list below, ingredients are listed in order of decreasing priority, so the topmost always determines the properties of the potion obtained. That is, if you combine fighting fish and Nirn root, then a potion from them will have exactly the same properties as a potion created from fighting fish and a poisonous bell or fighting fish and falmer's ear. Reduced-magnitude ingredients such as Ectoplasm and Nightshade (Upgrade: Destruction) only have an effect when combined with the same reduced-magnitude ingredient. Ectoplasm when combined with any ingredient other than nightshade produces the standard Destruction enhancement potion.

  • Cure Disease:
    • Charred Skeever Hide - 0.36 x Value;
    • Hawk Feathers - 0.36 x Value;
  • Damage Health:
    • Jarrin Root - 100 x Magnitude
    • Betty Fish (River Betty) - 2.5 x Magnitude;
    • Nirnroot - 12.6 x Value

  • Damage Stamina:

    • Bear Claws - 0.8 x Magnitude;
    • Salmon Roe - 0.4 x Magnitude (Hearthfire);

    • Salmon Roe - 15.4 x Value (Hearthfire)
Fast leveling of the Alchemy skill

In your list of available ingredients, find a pair with the same maximum profitable and expensive effect (you can use the SkyrimAlchemy alchemical calculator for selection). Try to avoid rare ingredients or those that you will need later (for example, with the enhancement effect of Enchanting or Blacksmithing). Pick a third matching ingredient to match another additional effect, and brew the potions.

There is no need to think about which ingredients to buy, it is best to buy all the ingredients in any alchemy shop, except for the most expensive ones (Daedra hearts, frost salts, void salts), since the money made on the sale of ready-made potions will allow you to sweep everything off the shelves. ingredients that merchants have, and all the gold from their pockets too (ingredients in alchemy shops and gold from merchants are replenished every 48 hours). Thus, the secret is simple - we buy and collect various ingredients and create all kinds of potions to maximize XP.

Boil deadly poison, become invisible, create a healing potion - all this and much more will allow the skill "Alchemy". Skyrim includes many different skills, but you will clearly spend more than one hour for this entertainment. We will tell you about how to pump and about all its possibilities in this review.

No potion anywhere

Any player desperately needs at least a standard set of elixirs that restore health or magic. Of course, such potions can be found in almost any location in the game. In addition, all merchants will gladly sell you elixirs and poisons. But this is unlikely to be enough, because you can find or buy potions completely in the amount that you need to complete, especially difficult missions and quests. Any strong enemy can kill you in a few minutes if you don't restore your health in time. So "Alchemy" is one of the most useful skills that are present in the game. And you should definitely study it, because there are many other reasons for this.

The main advantages of the skill

First of all, this is an opportunity to increase your health or parameters of strength, endurance, impact, and the like. In addition, thanks to this skill, you can quickly make a lot of money. And these are far from all the opportunities that Alchemy gives the player. Skyrim is a pretty dangerous place, and it will be difficult for the player without healing potions. Also, thanks to this skill, you can create poison, which will seriously increase the damage from your weapon. By studying some of the properties of the ingredients, you can become invisible or learn to breathe underwater. List of main effects:

  • Restoration, increase and regeneration of health, magic or stamina.
  • Fire resistance.
  • Rejection of electricity.
  • Cold resistance.
  • Invisibility.
  • Water breathing.
  • Damage to health, stamina or magic.
  • Paralysis.
  • Healing diseases.
  • Increased weight tolerance.

All this will be possible thanks to the science of "Alchemy". The Skyrim game will also allow you to create potions that increase all other skills: restoration, alteration, witchcraft, illusion, alchemy, enchantment, heavy and light armor, pickpocketing, destruction and so on.

By mixing the ingredients with each other, you can create decoctions with several positive or negative properties, which significantly increases not only their strength, but also their cost. If you decide to thoroughly study this skill, then before you start training, get a bonus from the "Mage" stone. You can find it near the town of Riverwood. Activating this Guardian Stone will increase the learning speed of the Alchemy skill by 20%. In addition, with this sign, you will quickly pump all other types of magic: enchantment, destruction, restoration, and so on.

What is needed for alchemical studies

In order to do "potions", first of all you need a laboratory created to work with such magical arts as "Alchemy". Skyrim will provide you with quite a few of these equipment. You can find an alchemical table in every city, as well as in small settlements, in the shops of herbalists or magicians. In addition, such devices are found in quest locations, including dungeons and caves.

In order to create potions and poisons, in addition to the table, you need ingredients, which include plants, as well as parts of animals and monsters. You can find these components anywhere on the vast map: grasses and flowers grow near roads and in glades, there are also a lot of animals and fish in these parts, however, as well as fabulous creatures. In addition, you can find ingredients in chests or on the corpses of defeated enemies. But the easiest way is to buy from merchants and herbalists, and you will always find such characters in the vastness of Skyrim. "Alchemy", "Enchanting" - these are the skills that should immediately begin to learn and pump a beginner. After all, thanks to them, you can earn not only experience, but also quite serious sums. And they will never be superfluous in the game Skyrim.

Alchemy: ingredients

The selection of ingredients like this in the game is really impressive. After all, there are about a hundred different parts of plants or animals to create potions here. And sooner or later you will want to know all the effects of these elements. At first, only the simplest ones will be available in the game, because the more expensive and rare ones cost an order of magnitude more, and it is much more difficult to get them. But even learning the first ingredients will take you a lot of time.

Each component includes four main effects. And if the first one is not difficult to find out - you just need to eat the object, then you will have to suffer with the rest. In this case, pumping the "Experimenter" perk will help. This skill makes it possible to unlock more effects when eating elements. If you do not want to spend experience points on it, there are several more ways to find out about the properties of the ingredients of the "Alchemy" skill:

  • Recipes.
  • Work at the alchemical table.

You can buy recipes from any herbalist or bookseller. From these records, it can be concluded that there are several effects of one or another ingredient. But it is much more fun to conduct research with laboratory equipment. After all, here you will need to combine two or three components with the same effect in order to get any potion. For example, the monarch's wing and the blue mountain flower have the health-enhancing property. By combining these two elements, you will not only unlock their effects, but also create a potion that restores health.

Rare elements

Of course, wasting ordinary flowers or parts of animals that can be found quickly and easily is not as scary as rare ingredients such as saber tooth. Such elements not only rarely fall out, but are also very expensive. So don't waste them. The following are extremely rare items and their effects in Skyrim. Alchemy table (rare ingredients):

These are, perhaps, all the rare ingredients that will be needed to learn the Alchemy skill. Potion recipes can be created by yourself, knowing these basic parameters.

We pump the skill

There are several ways to increase the rank of this skill in the Skyrim game. How to upgrade "Alchemy"? First of all, you need to constantly deal with it, because the level of this skill grows from the creation of potions and poisons. Moreover, the more successful the experiment, the more experience you get for creating such a "decoction".

Besides, strong potions and they are more expensive, so you will earn a lot of gold from selling them, which will be useful to you in the passage of the Skyrim game. How to pump "Alchemy" quickly? In some locations, you can find books, reading which will add experience to this skill. List of editions:

  • "Game at Dinner".
  • "Song of the Alchemists".
  • "Mannimarco, King of Hearts".
  • "De Roerum Dirennis".
  • Skyrim Plants Guide.

You can find these books in any location in the game, including character houses, chests and caches in caves, or bookshelves in castles. In general, do not be lazy to search the surroundings in search of these useful items. In addition, you can improve this skill by completing special quests of the Skyrim game, "Otherworldly Alchemy" is one of them. Completing this quest will dramatically increase your skill level in this skill.

Teaching is light

Increasing the skill "Alchemy" (Skyrim) is possible by purchasing knowledge from teachers. There are several of them:

  • Lami is a character living in Morthal.
  • Arcadia is an alchemist from the city of Whiterun.
  • Babette is a character from the "Dark Brotherhood" faction.

These lessons are not cheap, but they pay off quickly. After all, the higher the skill, the stronger and more expensive the potions. At the same time, you can always buy ingredients from the merchant, create a lot of potions and pay with them for the conducted teaching. Next, you will learn how to get a lot of gold in the game Skyrim with the help of "potions".

Possibilities of "Alchemy"

In order to earn on this skill, it is necessary to create more valuable and expensive potions. It is very good if by the time you decide to start studying it, you have already mastered the "Enchanting" skill. After all, thanks to him, you can impose effects on clothes that increase the power of the potions created. It is also necessary to pump the "Alchemist" perk with each level increase, which adds power to the poisons and decoctions of your preparation. In addition, study the entire branch of skills, because it will be rather difficult to pump all the effects, since you will have to spend experience points on other abilities in the Skyrim game. The Alchemy skill includes the following perks:

  • Healer - Increases the effects of health, stamina and magic potions by 25%.
  • Pharmacist - increased positive effects by 25%.
  • Poisoner - Increases the power of poisons by 25%.

So decide what exactly you want to make, and spend skill points on this perk.

Making expensive potions

Not all poisons and decoctions can be sold profitably, but some of them will bring considerable income, which you can count on when learning the skill "Alchemy" (Skyrim). The recipes are expensive:

  • Paralysis.
  • Slowdown.
  • Damage to the speed of magic recovery.
  • Invisibility.
  • Increase in tolerated weight.

It should be borne in mind that the more effects a decoction or poison contains, the more expensive it can be sold in Skyrim stores. An alchemy potion that contains both negative and positive effects is cheaper, so keep this in mind when creating brews. In addition, to create an expensive potion, you will need a certain set of ingredients. After all, elements with the same effects affect the cost of a poison or a healing elixir in different ways. And it is not necessary that an expensive ingredient will increase the price of the potion, since there is an indirect connection here.

The most expensive elixirs and poisons:

  • Bear claws, bearded moss, giant finger.
  • Giant's finger, blue mountain flower, blue butterfly wing.
  • Creeping vine, wheat, giant finger.
  • Fierce mushroom, human heart, fries root.
  • finger of a giant, juniper berries.
  • Glowing dust, glowing moss.
  • Scaly, creeping vine, tapinella pestilence.
  • Fire salt, snow berries,
  • Moon moth wing, vampire dust, hawk feathers.
  • Sabertooth eye, bearded moss, bear claws.
  • Vampire dust, honeycomb, moon moth wing.
  • Garlic, salt, poison bell.

How To Increase Your Potion Sales Profit

First of all, you need ingredients in order to earn on the Alchemy skill. Skyrim is a huge game, and of course you can find quite a few items needed for potions. But it will take a lot of time, so it is better to buy the ingredients from the merchants after all. In order for the deal to be profitable and the purchase paid off quickly, pump the "Merchant" skill from the "Speech" skill branch. In this case, the cost of acquisitions will significantly decrease, and your potions will slightly increase in price. In addition, without pumping this perk, it will be impossible to find some rare ingredients in stores. For example, they will become available only when this skill is taken.

Elixirs that increase the "Speech" skill will help to earn a little extra money, only they should not be sold, but drunk before the deal. Then the prices will become much more favorable, and buying ingredients or taking lessons will not hit your pocket hard. The Riften's Ragged Flask, the Thieves' hangout in Riften, is an ideal place to sell, of course, if you've completed the guild's quest line. Then a merchant will appear there, in whose pockets 4000 coins will be constantly present. In addition, the vendor has a huge selection of ingredients, and there is an alchemy table nearby. So you can easily and quickly convert his gold into your potions.

Cheats and codes

It's no secret that Skyrim has commands that allow you to get everything at once. Of course, this way of pumping skills or extracting valuable resources is not considered particularly "fair", and many players avoid using codes and cheats in their game. But if you want to quickly pump the Alchemy skill without bothering to create potions, then this method will be the best option for you. In order to use it, you first need to set the default English keyboard layout and open the console. This can be done using the "~" key. Next, in the line that opens, you need to write the following command: Player.SetAV Alchemy 100. This cheat will allow you to immediately learn the skill up to the hundredth level, but does not activate all the perks - you have to do it yourself.

Specializations

Upon reaching the skill level of the profession of 475, alchemists have a choice of specialization: potions, elixirs or infusions. By choosing one of the specializations, you will get a certain chance to create 2-5 units of the corresponding product (potions / infusions / elixirs) instead of one.

In Patch 4.3, the choice of specializations has been slightly changed. Now, in order to choose a specialization, Alchemists 475+ need to complete the task from the profession teacher: Yelmak (Horde) / Lilissia Nightbreeze (Alliance). The tasks are quite simple - you just need to bring the teacher some prepared potions, infusions or elixirs.

Darkmoon Fair

The new Darkmoon Fair allows you to quickly pump 5 points of Alchemy by completing a small task for the profession. The Darkmoon Fair takes place throughout the week, starting on the first Sunday of the month. On it, alchemists can complete the Bubble Cocktail quest. However, by and large, there are no very difficult stages in the leveling of a profession, so visiting a fair for the sake of +5 points can be considered dubious.

Alchemy 1-800

1-300

630-700 (any of the recipes):

These recipes require 5 Alchemy Catalysts + 1 unit. Of the magic element + the same usual infusion(which was done in step 600-630). The recipe costs 5 Secrets of Draenic Alchemy, so it is wise to study the same infusion that was prepared before.

Legion leveling

In the Legion, it became possible to pump a profession with only 0 Legion recipes - this allows you to avoid the lengthy and tedious production of many classic recipes, BC, etc.

1-700

For comfortable pumping with the help of Legion recipes, you need level 100+.

To get started, visit Alchemy Teacher Dekus Valderu in Dalaran. If you don't know where to find it, just ask the guards where the alchemy teacher is.

1-4
Immediately after you have learned Alchemy, you can start the Cool Mix quest given by Decus Valdera. The reward for completing this quest will be the Legion Alchemist. Be sure to complete this task before you start pumping the profession.

To craft the potions needed to complete the quest, you will need 9x Ysera Seed. Recipes and empty bottles can be purchased from Patricia Egan, who is located in the same place as Dekus Valdera.

4–236
232x Ancient Healing Potion - 928x Yseralline Seed

Don't forget to buy a level 2 recipe for this potion from Patricia! Level 3 will open by itself during the preparation of potions. Do not sell or throw away the prepared potions, they will be useful to you later.

236–468
232x Ancient Mana Potion - 1160x Yseralline Seed

Do not destroy these potions either, they will be useful for the next recipe.

468-700 or 650-700
232x Ancient Rejuvenation Potion - 232x Ancient Healing Potion, 232x Ancient Mana Potion

If you started pumping with 650, then it's time to complete the task mentioned in sections 1 - 4, and then prepare 16x Ancient Healing Potions, 16x Ancient Mana Potions, and 16x Ancient Rejuvenation Potions. All of this will require 144x Ysera Seed.

700 – 800

If you plan to create an Infernal Alchemy Stone, then it is better to wait until you have 739 skill units, then feel free to start making an accessory - this way, you will get 5 skill units at once.

All Legion recipes are sold by the already familiar Patricia Egan.

700–740
40x Ancient Healing Potion (Rank 3) - 160x Yseralline Seed

Please note that this is a level 3 recipe, early levels are useless at this stage.

New alchemical recipes can be unlocked through quests from Dekus Valdera. You will need level 110 to unlock the recipes mentioned below. Infusion recipes become available after completing the Calibration Check quest, and Patricia Egan will also sell them.

740–761
When making level 2 potions, you most likely automatically unlocked the next, third level of recipes.

After you have studied the 1st level of any infusion, 3 tasks will open for you, the passage of which will bring you recipes for infusions of the 2nd level.

Recipe: Flask of the Seventh Demon (Tier 2) can be dropped from Felsong Cordana on Heroic Vault of the Guardians. The rest of the recipes are commercially available.

Choose one of the recipes available to you and start making infusions (select only one of the suggested ones):

  • 7x Flask of Ten Thousand Scars (Level 2) - 49x Starlight Rose, 70x Aitril, 70x Dreamleaf
  • 7x Flask of Countless Armies (Rank 2) - 49x Starlight Rose, 70x Aitril, 70x Foxflower
  • 7x Flask of the Secret Pact (Rank 2) - 49x Starlight Rose, 70x Fjarnskaggl, 70x Dreamleaf
  • 7x Flask of the Seventh Demon (Rank 2) - 49x Starlight Rose, 70x Fjarnskaggl, 70x Foxflower

If you have already opened a recipe for any level 3 infusion, then you can make it up to 780 skill units. If not, then continue to create flasks until you unlock level 3. Getting level 3 depends on luck - you can get lucky, and you will unlock it at the tenth made infusion, or you can make a hundred, remaining at level 2 of the recipe.

7x Any level 3 infusion - 14x Starlight Rose, 28x Some Herb, 28x Some Herb

The type of herb used depends on the recipe.

The only way to maximize your alchemy is to create level 3 infusions. These recipes will turn yellow between 780 and 790, green between 790 and 800. For the final stage, you will need to prepare about 40 infusions, but the number will again depend on your luck.

40x Any Infusion of level 3 - 280x Starlight Rose, 400x Some Herb, 400x Some Herb

Again, the type of herb used will depend on the recipe chosen.

Note: goblins have a +15 racial advantage to alchemy, so this part will be much easier for them.

Leveling Alchemy in Battle for Azeroth (1-150)

Compiled a guide to leveling Alchemy in Battle for Azeroth. In this guide, you can find the fastest and most inexpensive way to fully pump Alchemy in BFA.

Alchemy works best with Herbalism. By combining these professions, you can save great amount gold, because herbalists have the opportunity to farm all the resources necessary for Alchemy. If you don't have Herbalism, make sure you have an adequate supply of gold to buy various herbs, as you will need quite a few of them.

Studying the profession at BFA

There are two versions of Alchemy for different factions:

  • Kul Tiran Alchemy for the Alliance.
  • Zandalari Alchemy for the Horde.

The only difference between the professions is their name.

Alchemy Teachers:

  • Clever Kumali in Dazar'alor on the Craftsmen's Terrace. (Horde).
  • Elric Volgrin in Boralus at the Market of the Seven Winds (Alliance).

You can approach the guards in Boralus or Dazar'alor and ask them where the Alchemy teacher is. A marker will appear on your map, which will indicate the location of the desired NPC.

How to upgrade 1-150

  • 20 Coastal Healing Potions - 140 pts. Siren's pollen.
  • 20 Coastal Mana Potions - 140 pts. River peas.

Craft 3 potions of any kind listed below.
