Time in Minecraft flows quite slowly, especially if the player is looking forward to the desired period. Depending on the daily cycle in the game, monsters and the world. What do you do if you don't want to wait? Like in Minecraft?

Teams

There are only three ways to change the current time in the game. Two of them are available only to the server administrator and consist in the introduction of special commands. How to speed up time in Minecraft using the console?

When it comes to growing plants or harvesting crops, the player can use the command /gamerule randomTickSpeed (number), where (number) is the rate of random changes in each chunk. Simply put, this command speeds up changes in world processes, but does not change the current time of day.

If we are talking about changing day and night, then the /time command is available to the player. It has several arguments that allow you to fine-tune the change in time:

  • time set (day/midnight/night/noon). This command will set the timer to the appropriate value. You only need to specify one option.
  • time add (time). Adds the specified number to the current counter. It is worth remembering that Minecraft has a rather strange system for calculating the time of day, so the "time" parameter varies from 0 to 18000. The maximum value corresponds to midnight.

Game process

The last way to speed up time in Minecraft is to use the most ordinary bed. If all the characters on the server go to bed at the same time, the time will automatically rewind to the nearest " checkpoint- midnight or morning.

To assemble a bed, the player will need 3 units of wool and the same number of boards. The first material can be obtained either by shearing sheep or by killing them. Boards are assembled from any type of wood.

To craft a finished bed, you need to place the ingredients on the workbench. Wool is placed in the middle row, and boards are placed in the bottom row. The result is only one finished item.
