Closed Beta-Test of the CS:GO game system. Closed Beta-Test of the CS:GO game system Code for beta testing cs go

The following changes in the update CS:GO Beta “1.35.4.7rc”

In order to evaluate and test the new CS:GO 1.35.4.7.rc beta client, you need to connect it following the instructions below:

CS:GO beta client activation:

→ Go to your game library, find CS:GO, right-click on csgo to open the context menu, select properties, in the window that appears, go to the last tab called "BETA", then select "1.35.4.7rc"

→ If this beta version does not appear on the tab, restart Steam.
→ To start the server for the beta version of CS:GO, use the following server launch parameter: "+app_update 740 -beta 1.35.4.7rc".

WARNING: You will not be able to play any other normal modes games, you will have a different version of the client. To play as before, turn off the beta version in the CS GO steam settings.

– The first person camera of players, spectators, and those who are watching the replay is no longer allowed to go higher than the position of the head in the third person view. This is to prevent the ability to view in first person from the point of view of the head above when viewed in third person.
- When the player's first-person camera is switched to third-person, shooting from both client-side and server-side locations is also adjusted to show the exact shooting path.
– If for some reason in 3rd person the player's animation lowers their head below the 1st person camera view, then the client's first person camera view is also lowered to stay at or below the height of their head displayed in 3rd person (Confused ? I understand you). In short, this means that in third person, the player's movement is now more accurately represented than in first person.
– Now, when falling from a height, the player’s model will squat a little. The recovery time of the model to a full standing position from a sitting position depends on the height from which the fall was, as well as how long the model was in the air. The same animation is worked out in the form of a third person. You can clearly see it in the video below:

– The crouch anti-spam system has been reworked, now using speed reduction rather than registering the number of crouch key presses. As before, the more often a player squats, the slower they will get up or squat lower. But now one bug will be taken into account, which the players used by adding a little movement to the sides. And by the way, if the players squat many times in a row, in the end, they will just stay standing, see the video below:

– Crouching speed became even more connected in first and third person view. In third person, the player lowers more quickly to match the crouch speed in first person.

[DIFFERENT]
- The lag compensation system will now reliably restore position parameters related to animation streams, giving better server-side hitbox matching for lag compensated players. This should also eliminate the times when you shoot the model but the server doesn't count the hit.

– New animation of bomb laying. Watch the video below:

What it is?

On the night of 10/11/2017, a new redesigned version of the Dust 2 map was released. At the moment, the map is only available on the beta version of the game. How to install and run new Dust 2 will be discussed in this article.

How to install and run the new Dust 2?

The new Dust 2 has already been released on the main version of the game.

Translation of an article from the developers blog.

Dust 2 was one of the few maps that hasn't changed much since its original release. The map fully reflects the essence of CS, and in this new version we wanted to emphasize its uniqueness.

The main goals of the developers during the development of the new version of the map:

  • Improved understanding of the location of players on the map.
  • Variety of different travel options.
  • Updated textures to match modern map standards.

Dust II is now available in a beta client, we look forward to your feedback.

Below you will find a few highlights of what has changed in the new version of the map.

Point B - Kasbah.

We made the tunnel lighter than it was before, now the light comes through the broken roof. The wrecked car has been moved slightly, allowing the player to move around more freely. The “window” in the wall has become wider. In addition, some objects have been moved outside game cards so that they do not distract from the game.

Point A - AURORA HOTEL.

We took into account the opinions of the players and made point A more free to move and removed objects that could distract or merge with other players (for example, the dark gate was removed).

Many "annoying objects" such as small rocks and so on have also been removed from the map.

MFA.

On MIDE, the lighting near the lower tunnel has been changed.

A number of other dark doorways were changed, and we didn't remove doors anywhere.

While the gameplay on the Dust II map never seems to have changed, the real art needs a good treatment. Point B on the map is now the historical Kasbah (the Arabic name for the citadel), and point A is the Aurora Bazaar and Hotel. The resolution of all textures has been increased four times. Now, the bad news is that 2 pizzerias are no more. Good news: Pizzeria establishments have been replaced by 2 dental offices. Coincidence? Probably not (joke from the developers).

New player models.

The infamous "Leet Krew" terrorist squad, the main villains of Dust II and formerly known as "Durah", have received a model update to fit the updated map. We have improved the character models and added a high resolution textures to be more recognizable, cohesive and iconic hardened veterans of countless rounds of Counter-Strike. Terrorists are still obsessed with world domination. Have you noticed that some of the Leet Krew are regulars at the new Salon De Coiffeur?

Dust II will evolve over time into one of the most balanced and iconic CS:GO maps. Your feedback will help us check if our initial goals were right, if they were implemented correctly and what our next steps should be. After receiving feedback on the Dust 2 visual update, which card would you like to see in a new look next? We are waiting for your feedback!
