Review of the game crossfire. Crossfire. ATI CrossFire technology review. Daiwa Crossfire reviews from fishermen

Online first person shooter for mobile devices... The game was developed by the company Tencent, recently implemented on pocket gadgets. From the latter, CF: Legends borrows some features, but is not limited to them. In addition to the battle royale mode, there are other classic modes in the game, so everyone can find something to their liking. To facilitate your acquaintance with the game, we have prepared a review in which we tell in detail what is in it and how to play it all.

Downloading the game

You can download CrossFire: Legends for free in stores and. To do this, your device must have at least 500 MB of free space - in addition to downloading from the store, the game will require downloading additional files after launch.

The game is less demanding than the same one. The game was tested on several devices, the oldest of which is ASUS Nexus 7 (2013)... On the Nexus, the game may slow down, but it's still comfortable to play.

Main menu

In the game menu, users can choose characters, create matches, access game sections and important game functions.

The character

The player's character is depicted in the center of the screen. If desired, you can change it: new skins are sold in the store. The selected hero does not affect any characteristics - only appearance that other players see. To quickly change your character, use the arrows next to the hero in the main menu.

Chat room

There is a small chat window above the player's character. By clicking on it, the chat will open in full screen. Here you can correspond with players around the world, your clan or even your team - these tabs can be found at the top. The tabs on the left are responsible for choosing the type of chat. There are five tabs in total:

  • World chat... Communication with players around the world.
  • Hiring recruits... Search for players to play in matches.
  • Clan Recruit... A separate chat for searching those wishing to join the clan.
  • Declare war of clans... The name speaks for itself - clans can declare wars to each other and negotiate battles.
  • System message.

To send messages to the world chat, you need to purchase a megaphone. To do this, you will need to have the first VIP level. You should also pay attention to voice chat - it is enabled by default. If you want to disable it, then follow these steps:

  • go to settings (gear icon in the upper right corner);
  • go to the "Basic" tab;
  • find the item "Conversation mode" and select "Press to speak 10 seconds";
  • if you do not want to hear other people's conversations, then in the item "Speaker by default" select "Off".

Creating matches

To the right of the character there is a window with a choice of four types of game: PvP, battle royale, rating match and battle with bots. Select one of the game types and a window with the creation of a match will open.

On the left of the screen, you can select one of the game modes. In total, at the time of creating this material, three modes are available:

  • Team battle... The game involves two teams of players. The goal of each team is to kill a certain number of players. When the goal is achieved, the team wins.
  • Destruction... Players are divided into two teams: attacking and defending. The former should destroy the specified point with C4, and the latter should defend this point.
  • Battle royale... Players are fighting on huge map until one person or team survives.

This summer, the developers promised to add two more game modes:"Mutation" and "Zombie".

On the main screen, select game card- each mode has its own set of cards. Can choose " Random card", If you have not made your choice. You can start the match by clicking the "Start" button. If you want to play with friends, then select the "Multiplayer" button. For playing with friends, you will receive 10% more experience.

The battle royale creation window is slightly different from other modes. Here you can see your character - his appearance is different from what is used in the main game. An important feature of the local battle royale is that you can play here both alone and in a team - in the latter case, the last surviving team wins.

Game Sections

  • Event... Window with current game events... Here you can find out the conditions for obtaining game bonuses, and after fulfilling the conditions, pick them up.
  • Tasks... A window with a set of game tasks, for the completion of which various game bonuses are also issued.
  • Kit... Gift sets shop. Depending on the type of kit, it can be purchased for game currency("Gold Pack") or gems ("Gem Pack").
  • Shop... A shop where you can buy in-game goods: weapons, characters and other items. All goods are divided into game modes.

Game tabs

  • Items... Here you can equip the hero: choose the weapon with which he will walk; change backpacks and the character himself.
  • Clan... Players can create their own clans or join existing ones.
  • Rating... Viewing the rating table of players.
  • Friends... View and manage the list of players added as friends. In total, you can add up to 50 players as friends.
  • To repay... This strange name hides a branch for pumping weapons.

Battles

Controls in battles are standard: the movement of the hero is carried out using the joystick, and the camera - by movements on the screen. A separate button is responsible for shooting. Auto-aiming helps in shooting - it is enough to direct the crosshair towards the player and it "sticks" to the player.

Most of the nuances with management - in the "royal battle". The game focuses on collecting equipment. When you get close to items, a small window opens with a list of items. If you wait 1-2 seconds, the items will automatically be added to your inventory. At the bottom, near the health scale, there is a button that opens the inventory. The number of places in your inventory depends on the backpack you find in the game.

For easy movement in the game, there is an "auto run" button - it appears when you tilt the stick forward for a few seconds. Without lifting your finger, slide the screen to this button and the character will run forward himself. To take control again, just tap the stick.

Long distances can be traveled by transport. Please note that all vehicles have a petrol scale. You can replenish it using canisters scattered around the map. To get behind the wheel of a transport, use the "Drive" button, not "Enter" - in the latter case, the hero will sit in the passenger seat.

Battle royale

Battle Royale has been moved almost unchanged from PUBG. A group of players up to 120 people land on the island, where players fight with each other until one person remains alive. Equipment must be found in buildings located on the island. There you can find weapons, cartridges, first aid kits and other useful loot.

Gradually, the playing area will decrease - everyone who finds themselves outside of it will fall into a sandstorm and begin to lose health. If you do not quickly reach the play area, the player will die. You can cross long distances by vehicles that are scattered across the map.

CrossFire: Legends is a great replacement for PUBG Mobile. Thanks to simple graphics the game will go even on older devices. Moreover, in addition to the "royal battle", which is no different from other similar games, there are other more classic modes.

Compared to other games that I will not name in order to not advertise them, crossfire has very great graphics. In this game I really like the fact that there is an OMON officer's costume specially for Russian patriots. In other games, as a rule, there are no riot policemen's suits. Since there are only American suits of such units as: SAS S.W.A.T, etc. This game has a very good cards such as: MEXICO-B EGYPT-B TRAIN-B MONACO-B RADIO STATION and many others. etc. Now let's move on to weapons. As in any game, there are well-drawn weapons and poorly drawn ones. Let's list them.

Well Drawn: AK-74 K1A M16 M4A1castum.

Poorly drawn: AK-47 K2 and a few more.

Naturally, there are also disadvantages, as in any game. But he's only one. This is what there are a lot of cheaters and bugers.

But this minus is present in any game, so the essence of the problem is that: there is no normal anti-cheat system. But I hope that this problem will be solved with the good work of our wonderful administration. I will repeat that I do not know how to write articles well, so do not judge strictly.

There are two lines of reels produced under the name Daiwa Crossfire - Crossfire A and Crossfire X. The former belong to the budget price segment, the latter are more expensive, but they are made at a higher quality level. We'll start this review with a spinning reel.

The Daiwa Crossfire X is marketed as a reel for match fishing, but spinning reels also use it with success. The gear ratio of different models in this line is from 5.1: 1 to 5.3: 1. The Crossfire X contains 5 ball bearings and comes with a rear friction brake.

The "youngest" model in the line - Crossfire 1500 X - holds 140 m of line with a diameter of 0.2, its weight is 290 g, and the maximum load on the friction is 2 kg. The Crossfire 4000X already weighs 420 g, the declared capacity of its spool is 195 for a line with a diameter of 0.35 mm, and the declared maximum load on the friction is 4 kg.

An important advantage of the Daiwa Crossfire X is that the reel is equipped with an additional metal spool. This is very convenient, since the presence of a second spool greatly expands the angler's capabilities.

Daiwa Crossfire X 3050 video review

The coils are much more modest in terms of their technical characteristics. They have a body made of lightweight composite material, complete with an aluminum spool. In this case, the second graphite spool is included. Crossfire A is equipped with 3 bearings and has an instant backstop. The gear ratios of the various models in this range are from 4.8: 1 to 5.1: 1.

The smallest model, the Crossfire 500A, weighs 145g and has a spool that can hold 180m of 0.14mm line. This reel can be used for ultralight fishing. But the Crossfire 4050A, designed for use in heavy jig, already weighs 380 g and holds 220 m of line with a diameter of 0.3 mm.

Daiwa Crossfire A video review

Daiwa Crossfire reviews from fishermen

  1. I use a Crossfire 1000A and in my opinion this is the best reel in its class, I don’t think you can find anything better for that kind of money. She puts both the line and the cord evenly, without beards, the value for money is just super.
  2. The Crossfire 3000X is a decent reel for the money. The only problem is that there is some kind of shuffling inside the mechanism when reeling, I tried to figure out what was the matter, but I could not. If you forget about that, the coil works well. I think it will suit beginner spinning players.
  3. My Crossfire 2000A throws loops and does it over and over again. If you buy and use, watch the quality of the winding after each cast. I didn’t keep track of it once, as a result I had to say goodbye to a couple of tens of meters of Varivas fence, and it was quite insulting. Of course, such problems appear when fishing with twitching, but in uniform, stop and go and jig, everything is generally not bad. Probably, there is no point in waiting for something better for that kind of money - everything has a price.
  4. I use Crossfire 4000A on the feeder, for that kind of money I don't see any big drawbacks. The only thing is that the bow of the line is thrown off sometimes during sharp throws, and inside the mechanism something starts to make noise on the reel.
  5. The coil justifies its price one hundred percent. After all, Daiwa is Daiwa, it is much better to buy a reel of such a well-known brand than China at the same price with ten bearings, which will not wind at all.

Feeder Rod Features and Capabilities

A tactical multiplayer shooter from the Korean developer SmileGate. In Russia and the CIS, the game is published by Mail.Ru Group (since 2010). Crossfire is distributed in the Free-to-play format - free access to the game with the ability to make micropayments to receive various in-game bonuses (improved equipment and weapons, unique skins, and so on).

Plot, factions and gameplay

All events taking place in Crossfire are associated with the confrontation between two paramilitary megacorporations, whose moral values are opposite:

1. Global Risk. The best fighters from all over the world who, for one reason or another, left the regular service. However, this does not mean at all that they have abandoned the fight against evil and injustice. The main priorities of the organization are the protection of universally recognized human values and the fight against the terrorist threat.

2. Black List. Unscrupulous mercenaries conducting subversive and terrorist activities throughout the globe... As a rule, they take on any, even the most vile and bloody work, if they are well paid for it.

For each faction, there are several types of characters, each with its own uniform. Moreover, their appearance most often corresponds to the forms of special services and special units that really exist in the world: SAS, S.W.A.T., GSG 9 and so on.

For success in a match, players are awarded experience (allows them to grow in rank) and points that can be spent in the Crossfire store to purchase various useful items.

Game modes

The online shooter begins with the passage of training missions, after successfully completing which the player becomes available to more than ten game modes in Crossfire.

This is one of the main features of the project, because, unlike most other free MMOFPS, there is such an impressive number of modes here by no means for show. They are all really fun and varied.

Plus, for each mode and type of battle, several cards are available, again, the number of which can exceed ten, or even twenty pieces.

Weapon

A large selection of weapons available for real (VIP-weapons) and virtual money. Some of its samples can be used by Crossfire players only after reaching a certain rank.

Also in the game there is such a thing as weapon wear. If it is not repaired in time, then its lethality can significantly decrease.

VIP-weapons, in addition to beautiful unique skins, give their owner very useful and tangible bonuses in battle. The higher the cost of the gun, the more such bonuses and their power.

Last year NVIDIA announced technology SLI(Scalable Link Interface- do not confuse with Scan Line Interleaving from 3Dfx), which allows you to combine the power of two video cards at once. The idea can be called both brilliant and absurd at the same time. Brilliant - because in some games we get a tangible increase in performance. Absurd - because in other games the speed gain does not always justify the high price of such a system. In addition, the transition to SLI can be problematic. For example, if you want to buy first one video card, and six months later - a second, the situation on the market may turn out so that instead of the second card it is better to buy a new one - the next generation. Another drawback of SLI is that both cards must be exactly the same, including the manufacturer, clock speeds, and even firmware. If you buy a second card in six months, it may turn out that it will have a different firmware ... There is a way out of this situation - to update BIOS, but not everyone can do it himself. Therefore, we would recommend this: if you are thinking about SLI, buy two video cards at once.

Despite the aforementioned shortcomings, SLI has proven its right to life. More than a million motherboards sold already nForce 4 SLI... Of course, the Canadian competitor - ATI - could not calmly watch NVIDIA's actions. All this time, its engineers have been working hard on their own technology - Crossfire.

How CrossFire works

At first glance, CrossFire has a lot in common with SLI: it requires a motherboard with two slots to work. PCI Express x16... Theoretically, the implementation of this technology does not depend on the chipset, but ATI decided to promote its products, so CrossFire will work only on the chipset. Like NVIDIA, ATI reasonably wants to sell not only video cards, but also motherboards. However, there is a high probability that motherboards from third-party manufacturers will appear.

If two identical cards are used in the SLI system, then they are different for CrossFire. To build such a system, in addition to the standard graphics card Radeon X800 or X850(in mode slave), CrossFire version X800 or X850 is required (in master). Unlike SLI, they are not connected with a bridge - only with a monitor cable.

A special controller on the video card mixes the images generated by the regular and CrossFire cards pixel by pixel, and then displays the image on the display. Signals from a conventional card are transmitted digitally over the interface DVI through a short cable, so theoretically there should be no loss in quality.

Such division into simple and CrossFire versions of cards, at first glance, can be regarded as a disadvantage compared to SLI. Indeed, in the case of NVIDIA's solution, you do not need to think about which card to take - both are the same. On the other hand, ATI's concept offers certain advantages.

As we said earlier, SLI requires two absolutely identical cards. Even cards from the same manufacturer cannot be used together if they differ in BIOS versions (since the firmware can be updated).

Owners of the current Radeon X800 or X850 can easily purchase a CrossFire card for their system. Differences in clock frequencies, BIOS version, pipeline configuration, or manufacturer do not play a role here. The only limitation is that the CrossFire model must match the graphics card series. In other words, it should be Radeon X800 CrossFire or X850 CrossFire.

CrossFire version of the card based on Radeon X800 XT PE or X850 XT PE adapts to a regular map in terms of the number of pixel pipelines. Let's say, if a regular X800 Pro uses 12 pixel pipelines, the CrossFire card will also switch to 12 pipelines, although in fact there are 16 ... Interestingly, this does not apply to the core and memory frequencies - each card will operate at its own frequencies.

This flexibility comes at a price. Junior owners X800 \ X800 Pro or X850 \ X850 Pro they will have to pay a very decent amount for the CrossFire version of the card, and it is not a fact that they will get a big win, because the weaker card will set the pace. If NVIDIA has a relatively inexpensive SLI configuration on two cards GeForce 6600 GT, then in the case of CrossFire, you won't be able to save money.

You can only find out CrossFire video cards upon closer examination. Their main difference from regular Radeon is a modified display output (or input) and a second chip DVI-TMDS from Silicon Image.

Main advantages of ATI CrossFire

Compatible with all DirectX and OpenGL games.

You can use different video cards (from different manufacturers, with different frequencies).

CrossFire versions of the cards work with older Radeon X800 / X850 models.

More operating modes than NVIDIA SLI.

Supports a dedicated image enhancement mode.

Ability to work with multiple monitors (up to 5).

More working modes, good and different

The ATI CrossFire system provides as many as four modes of operation - SuperTiling, Scissor, Alternate Frame Rendering and SuperAA.

SuperTiling - standard mode... It is compatible with all Direct3D-games and applications. The picture is divided into small squares ( quad), which are decomposed by the GPU into different pipelines. Thus, in SuperTiling mode, the screen is split into a kind of checkerboard.

Benefits: Compatible with all games, provides optimal load distribution.

Disadvantages: in some games the speed does not increase much, both cards calculate the scene geometry, this mode does not work with Opengl-games

In Scissor mode, the picture is split into two horizontally. Accordingly, one card calculates the upper part, and the second one calculates the lower part (as in the case of SLI). Dynamic load balancing allows you to evenly load both video cards. This mode is standard for OpenGL applications.

Benefits: Works with most games.

Disadvantages: both cards render scene geometry.

Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) mode distributes the load as follows: one card renders all even frames, and the other - odd ones. This is how a sequence of frames is formed, which quickly replace each other.

Advantages: maps optimally distribute the load, AFR provides full geometry acceleration.

Disadvantages: Doesn't work in games where render-to-texture function is used.

The last mode, SuperAA, provides very high image quality. Both cards render the same image, but use different full-screen anti-aliasing patterns ( FSAA). Then both pictures are mixed into one. As a result, we get smoothing 8x at FSAA price 4x! In addition, SuperAA improves the quality of shader computations.

Benefits: Doubling FSAA mode without sacrificing speed.

Disadvantages: Does not increase frame rate.

Radeon Xpress 200: chipsets for AMD and Intel

ATI has been releasing its own chipsets for some time, but the company has not yet achieved much success in this field. Motherboards are commercially available, they are inexpensive and offer decent performance, but they are not very popular with users. With chipset Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire Edition the company hopes to make a difference by targeting enthusiasts and hardcore gamers.

Radeon Xpress 200 Chipset Supports Both Processors Intel and AMD... The CrossFire version uses 16 lines PCI Express for graphics cards. Four more are left for expansion cards. The Radeon Xpress 200, unlike many nForce4 SLI based boards, does not require manual switching between single and dual card modes. The new chipset supports all the advanced features, including high-speed memory and advanced overclocking capabilities.

At the time of this writing, CrossFire cards have not reached the shelves, however, there is information that you can switch to dual-card mode without rebooting (unlike SLI), in addition, CrossFire can work with multiple monitors (up to 5 ).

It is already known that ASUS, DFI, Gigabyte, ECS, Sapphire, MSI and other companies will release their own versions of the boards with CrossFire support.

ATI will immediately release the Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire Edition for AMD and Intel.

Conclusion

By introducing CrossFire technology, ATI tried to outperform SLI, and I must say, everything looks very good on paper. CrossFire allows you to choose different hardware configurations, offers several operating modes and a special SuperAA image enhancement mode.

If you buy a motherboard based on the Radeon Xpress 200, you can upgrade your system to CrossFire by purchasing a second graphics card. In this regard, SLI lags behind a little, as it requires the second card to be identical.

The only place where SLI beats CrossFire is price. Considering that the CrossFire Editions are full-fledged Radeon X800 XT PE or Radeon X850 XT PE, they will not come cheap. For example, if you have already bought a relatively inexpensive Radeon X850 Pro (12 pipelines), then you will have to shell out a large sum for the Radeon X850 XT PE CrossFire (16 pipelines). And this is taking into account the fact that you will not be able to take full advantage of the second map - only 12 pipelines will be involved. Owners of X800 XL will find it easier, as they differ from their older brothers only in frequencies.

The only thing left to do is to get working samples and test them in practice!
