Banished won't start? Game slows down? Flies out? Glitchy? Solving the most common problems. Banished: modified exile

Banished is both a great city builder and a good economic strategy, in which you need to create a new settlement. Under your leadership, a small group of people and few resources. Start with simple things: build some houses, a pasture, a hut for a forester and a hunter, organize the extraction of essential resources. In addition, keep an eye on your citizens: assign the right people to the right work, make sure that there is something to eat in winter and people simply do not freeze. Banished reacts clearly to all your actions, for example cutting down a forest will bring you wood that you can use to build various buildings, but it will also affect the migration of wild animals that you previously used for food. Also, fishing from one body of water can lead to its depletion, and previously fertile lands are quickly depleted if they are not looked after. Even nomads who want to join and help your settlement can bring a deadly disease. Banished game requires constant attention and control over even the smallest details, but that's what makes this game so good.

The game is still in the testing phase, so if there are errors, don't be too upset, but just wait for the final. Surprisingly, the game takes up less than 100 megabytes, while it looks very beautiful and has huge gaming capabilities. Build schools, houses, hospitals, roads and bridges - create a real huge city from a small settlement. Cherish each of your people - this is the path to success. And do not forget to go through the tutorial first to understand the basic nuances of the game.

Attention! To activate the Russian language, go to the game menu in the "Mods" section and activate the language mod. Run the game as administrator! Some antiviruses remove the activator, which is why the game does not start!

It's done. The creator of Banished, the game of the year according to all honest, unpaid media, has finally completed the mod kit, and integrated the Steam Workshop into it.

Actually, a significant event took place back in August, but integration with Steam began to work in a beta version relatively recently. Banished is great on its own, but the lack of content, or rather variations existing content remains weak side games. Blame it on its creator, who single-handedly worked on the game all this time - somehow inhuman and selfish. He made a real gift to gamers this year: an original, serious, strong game in a genre not particularly popular among major studios. Thanks to him for this, and now, as it was customary to say about Bethesda games, modders will finish the rest.

No addons or DLC, only mods!

Of course, there is such a problem with Banished and mods that the very essence of the mechanics of this game is painful survival, when one small mistake, one untimely decision leads to a domino effect and very far-reaching consequences. Some mods, no matter how good the intentions of their authors, can shift this balance into the “god mode” zone, and thereby ruin the game. It is, in fact, about the exiles, who already sailed(or maybe they arrived) and try in the wilderness, on empty place recreate a human settlement. There is neither a system with the opening of previously inaccessible buildings, nor an idiotic mission stuck "for show". Any, even the most resource-intensive building, can be built literally in the first minutes of the game; that is, the gameplay involves moderate benefits from all buildings.

But considering mods for Banished only from the point of view of balance is also somehow silly, this is not Starcraft. It feels like the world of Banished isn't just about counting resources and evaluating town statistics; this game, which does not have a plot or any mythology of its own, is a philosophical question about the expediency of continuing human life on the example of the survival of a small commune.

What can be sacrificed for the common good? Health - characters in Banished are able to live many winters on the street, running to warm themselves in the only house in the whole village, but this, as expected, has a bad effect on well-being and life expectancy. Dignity - the old people who live out their lives alone and thus do not allow new families to enter the house, the players who are well aware of the danger of the "missed generation" are forcibly "evicted" to the hostel or try to "compact" with other lonely old people. And finally, until the recent patch, settlers sacrificed their lives, going on long trips for resources.

If there is no mission or end goal, do all these sacrifices make sense? Only if the life of the community gets better. Happiness is present in the game as an objective value, so it is easy to assess the meaningfulness of a particular virtual village. Therefore, it is not worth completely discarding all mods that can potentially simplify the gameplay, they must first be disassembled and for compliance with the entire concept of the game. Aesthetics and atmosphere also need to be taken into account: poorly executed or inappropriate for a given theme (surviving in a pseudo-medieval settlement in a temperate climate) mods are distracting and prevent you from properly immersing yourself in the game.

So, based on the criteria listed above, you can immediately discard most of the gameplay tweaks like "faster roads" and "more extracted resources" because they only make it easier game process but do not add additional options and do not change the general atmosphere.

A convincing victory over the main enemy of the settlers: not wanting to level the hill

But Flatten Terrain Tool, on the contrary, should be in the mod folder of every Banished lover. Since there are no earthmoving teams in the game, every tiny hillock in the middle of a flat area could become an insurmountable obstacle. The tool itself is rather inconvenient, it is impossible to cancel the result of its work, so you should save before using it. The “imprint” in the form of crosses left after leveling must be removed using the “delete structure” option existing in the game. Unfortunately, no one has done it yet.

Unfortunately, the original apiary, which is part of the Banished toolkit as an example, suffers from one significant drawback: it produces too many resources from nothing. That is, it is enough to build it anywhere, and it will produce honey all year round in huge quantities. The presence of nearby gardens, forests or fields also does not affect the products. There are already variants of the mod with more modest performance - it remains to wait until someone understands how to make the apiary work only together with the gardens. And not in winter.

Bees in Banished: Special, Frost Hardy

The mod with a cheese factory is similar to an apiary (including externally, since the model is the same, with minor changes), but it is better thought out: it uses a resource that, surprisingly, local cows have begun to give - milk. From it you can make, to choose from, cheese, yogurt or sour cream. Now cows have become extremely useful animals, since they immediately produce three resources (milk, meat and skin).

Keep in mind, you will need quite a lot of livestock. A dozen animals for one cheese factory is not enough

"Adam and Eve" is a mod for masochistic gamers: it adds a starting condition where the game starts with a family of two. It would be nice if in this mode it would be possible to simulate the effect of inbreeding, for example, to reduce life expectancy in subsequent generations. If you think about it, the same pattern should have worked for the most difficult game mode.

The bakery and mill for Banished is not a simple modder's project, but an indie developer, one of the creators of Amnesia. The buildings look very beautiful, a lot of effort was spent on them, but the result is worthy: the mill makes flour from wheat and corn, the bakery bakes bread from this flour.

The wings of the windmill do not move, and unfortunately there is no sound

Another good mod, which will be appreciated by lovers of growing a large village is a sawmill with a water wheel. It, unlike the apiary, is well balanced: three people at the sawmill produce a little less firewood than they would chop one by one. But the wood-chopping patch that existed before occupies 36 squares of flat space, and a sawmill measuring 54 squares is being built on the shore, where before it was possible to put only a fishing pier and a trading port.

The sawmill wheel is also not animated, but the model looks good

Additionally, next to the sawmill, you can place specialized sites for storing resources, which adds the Specialized Stockpiles mod. Simple but very convenient. Another similar modification regarding the distribution of produced goods: different variants shops, similar in functionality to the market, but smaller in size and coverage of the territory. Smaller Vendor Buildings Compilation is just the thing if, like me, you love maps with lots of lakes and rivers and small islands. Since the market in Banished serves as an important distribution point for all resources in general, including four types of food, refusing to use it due to lack of building space is fraught with the fact that the settlers take one type of food (fish!) from the barn and their health gradually deteriorates. Realistic - yes, but the size of the market is too large to fully justify this realism.

Thanks to new shops of different sizes, planning a town has become easier

The small church mod by RedKetchup serves the same purpose: saving space. The model, let's say, is made very rough, but fits well into the overall design of the game.

The church looks like a barn, but the settlers have nothing to choose from

Another creative attempt by the same modder to rethink the environment in Banished is a set of decorative items. Looks much worse. The “greenhouse” looks especially funny: it looks like modern buildings, only the texture is entirely “wooden”. And even if you don't criticize appearance, in Europe in the Middle Ages and up to the Renaissance, the predecessors of modern greenhouses and greenhouses were entertainment for the rich, and not something that a handful of convicts would have thought of building.

"Greenhouse": a pseudo-medieval relative of the desktop cactus greenhouse from Ikea

But most of all latest mod annoying with what it adds additional item menu into the game and shifts to the right the menu with tools for collecting resources and removing buildings. A new key for tools is not assigned, and you have to click on the menu - very inconvenient.

I can not help but warn about a bunch of problems that, of course, appear along with mods. Firstly, not all of them are compatible, so read the descriptions carefully before downloading and enabling them, and in some cases it is necessary to create a new game. The mods listed above work more or less well together, but errors can still occur: so far, the main source of problems is the overflow of the list of goods of the incoming merchant. If after installing the mod a fatal error began to appear, then you need to turn it off in the Mods menu in the game, unsubscribe from updates in the Workshop tab and delete the files from the disk. According to some reports, cleaning the registry helps without removing mods.

In general, as a dear Comrade Prime Minister would say, gaming freedom is better than lack of freedom. I hope that Banished will be able to repeat the fate of SimCity 4 - become a game whose life will naturally be extended by grateful fans.

If Banishment crashes, Banishment will not start, Banishment not installing, there are no controls in Banishment, no sound in game, errors happen in Banishment – we offer you the most common ways to solve these problems.

First, check if your PC specifications meet the minimum system requirements:

  • OS: Windows XP/Vista/7/8
  • Processor: Dual Core 2.0 GHz
  • Memory: 512 MB
  • Video: 512 MB
  • HDD: 250 MB
  • DirectX: 9.0c

Be sure to update your video card drivers and other software

Before remembering the worst words and expressing them towards the developers, do not forget to go to the official website of the manufacturer of your video card and download the latest drivers. Often, specially optimized drivers are prepared for the release of games. You can also try installing a later version of the drivers if the problem is not solved by installing the current version.

It is important to remember that you should download only the final versions of video cards - try not to use beta versions, as they may have a large number of bugs not found and not fixed.

Do not forget that games often require the latest version of DirectX to be installed, which can always be downloaded from the official Microsoft website.

Banished won't start

Many problems with launching games happen due to incorrect installation. Check if there were any errors during the installation, try uninstalling the game and running the installer again, after disabling the antivirus - often the files needed for the game to work are deleted by mistake. It is also important to remember that in the path to the folder with installed game there should be no Cyrillic characters - use only Latin letters and numbers for directory names.

It still does not hurt to check if there is enough space on the HDD for installation. You can try to run the game as Administrator in compatibility mode with different versions of Windows.

Banished slows down. Low FPS. Logs. Friezes. hangs up

First - install the latest drivers for the video card, from this FPS in the game can rise significantly. Also check the computer's load in the task manager (opened by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESCAPE). If, before starting the game, you see that some process is consuming too many resources, turn off its program or simply end this process from the task manager.

Next, go to the graphics settings in the game. First of all, turn off anti-aliasing and try lowering the settings responsible for post-processing. Many of them consume a lot of resources and disabling them will significantly increase performance without greatly affecting the quality of the picture.

Banished crashes to desktop

If Banished often crashes to your desktop, try lowering the graphics quality to start solving the problem. It is possible that your computer simply does not have enough performance and the game cannot work correctly. Also worth checking out for updates - most modern games have a system automatic installation new patches. Check if this option is disabled in the settings.

Black screen in Banished

More often than not, the problem with the black screen is an issue with the GPU. Check if your video card satisfies minimum requirements and install the latest drivers. Sometimes a black screen is the result of insufficient CPU performance.

If everything is fine with the hardware, and it meets the minimum requirements, try switching to another window (ALT + TAB), and then return to the game window.

Banished is not installed. Installation stuck

First of all, check if you have enough HDD space for installation. Remember that the setup program requires the advertised amount of space plus 1-2 gigabytes of free space on the system drive to run correctly. In general, remember the rule - the system drive should always have at least 2 gigabytes of free space for temporary files. Otherwise, both games and programs may not work correctly or refuse to start at all.

Installation problems can also occur due to lack of Internet connection or its unstable operation. Also, do not forget to suspend the antivirus while installing the game - sometimes it interferes with the correct copying of files or deletes them by mistake, considering them viruses.

Saves not working in Banished

By analogy with the previous solution, check the availability of free space on the HDD - both on the one where the game is installed and on the system drive. Often save files are stored in a folder of documents, which is located separately from the game itself.

Controls not working in Banished

Sometimes the controls in the game do not work due to the simultaneous connection of several input devices. Try disabling the gamepad, or if for some reason you have two keyboards or mice connected, leave only one pair of devices. If the gamepad does not work for you, then remember that only controllers that are defined as Xbox joysticks officially support games. If your controller is defined differently, try using programs that emulate Xbox joysticks (for example, x360ce).

Sound not working in Banished

Check if the sound works in other programs. After that, check if the sound is turned off in the settings of the game itself and if the sound playback device is selected there, to which your speakers or headset are connected. Next, while the game is running, open the mixer and check if the sound is muted there.

If you are using an external sound card, check for new drivers on the manufacturer's website.

Gamers often face problems in computer games. Some of them are related to performance on their computers, others are related to problems in game files and bugs. Almost every problem can be solved, especially when it comes to gaming. In this article, you will learn what to do if there is no sound in the game, and in what ways you can return it. Methods for solving the problem from the side of the game itself, as well as from the hardware and software of a personal computer are considered.

There is no sound in the game: what to do?

To begin with, we list all the reasons that may affect the lack of sound in a computer game:

  • problems with game files;
  • problems with the settings in the game;
  • malfunctions in the operating system settings;
  • damaged drivers;
  • equipment malfunction.

To fix the problem, let's start by configuring the game itself. It is possible that due to inattention or inexperience, you admitted that there is no sound in the game due to incorrectly set parameters in the game menu.

In-game settings

To get started, launch the game and go to the settings menu. It may be located in different places and called differently, but the essence remains the same - this section of the menu contains all the technical, graphical and sound settings. After finding the sound settings, try setting all the sliders to the maximum and save the changes. Some games will require a reboot - please follow the request.

If after this there is no sound in the game, then you need to check for its presence in the operating system itself. Check or run video / audio to see if the computer plays third-party tunes that are not related to the game. If everything is normal, then the problem is not related to the computer hardware or operating system.

Let's get back to the game itself. Perhaps a reinstall might help resolve the issue. If you are using licensed version, purchased on a digital platform, for example, on Steam, then through it you can check the integrity of the files and download the damaged ones, if any. You can do it like this:

  1. Open the list of games and right-click on the one you need.
  2. Select "Properties" from the menu.
  3. Go to the "Local Files" tab and click on the "Verify Integrity of Game Files..." button.
  4. After checking and downloading the damaged components, try to check the solution to the problem again. If there is still no sound in the game, go to the next method.

OS settings

Before checking the operating system settings, make sure that the sound is present in system notifications and other multimedia components (for example, video playback on the site, etc.). If there is no sound everywhere, then you need to check the parameters in the OS.

First, take a look at the taskbar and find the sound icon. By clicking on it, you can adjust the volume level to the desired one. You may have accidentally turned off the sound.

Now you need to open the mixer. To do this, right-click on the icon and select "Open Volume Mixer". If a essential game was started, find the corresponding speaker in the mixer and raise its level to the maximum.

If after all the operations done in the game there is no sound, then you need to proceed to checking the equipment. To do this, you need to use the standard functionality of the OS, which is described below.

Hardware settings

Often the problem is driver malfunction. To check, do the following:

  1. In the search bar on the taskbar, enter the query "device manager".
  2. Go to the program and find the subsection with sound equipment. Pay attention to whether the equipment is marked with an exclamation mark. If it is next to the icon, then you need to reinstall the driver.
  3. Now right-click on the desired hardware and select "Update Driver".
  4. You can trust the operating system to check, or install the driver manually. For the second method, you must first download the distribution kit to your computer and specify the path to it on your hard drive.
  5. Wait for the procedure to finish and be sure to restart your computer. After that, try to start the game again and check for sound.

Now you know, in the game - check the settings, file integrity, reinstall the driver, check if the hardware is connected correctly. However, the described methods do not give a 100% guarantee of getting rid of the problem. If nothing worked out for you, and there is no sound in the game, then try contacting the developer support service.

Unfortunately, there are flaws in games: brakes, low FPS, crashes, freezes, bugs and other minor and not very errors. Often problems begin before the game even starts, when it won't install, won't load, or won't even download. Yes, and the computer itself is sometimes weird, and then in Banished instead of a picture there is a black screen, control does not work, no sound is heard or anything else.

What to do first

  1. Download and run the world famous CCleaner(download from a direct link) is a program that will clean your computer of unnecessary garbage, as a result of which the system will work faster after the first reboot;
  2. Update all drivers in the system using the program Driver Updater(download via direct link) - it will scan your computer and update all drivers to the latest version in 5 minutes;
  3. Install Advanced System Optimizer(download via direct link) and include in it Game Mode, which will terminate useless background processes during game launches and improve in-game performance.

The second thing to do if you encounter any problems with Banished is to check the system requirements. In a good way, you need to do this even before the purchase, so as not to regret the money spent.

Banished minimum system requirements:

Windows XP SP3, 2 Ghz Intel Dual Core processor, 512 Mb RAM, 250 Mb HDD, GeForce 210 512 Mb

Each gamer should at least understand a little about the components, know why a video card, processor and other things are needed in the system unit.

Files, drivers and libraries

Almost every device in a computer requires a set of special software. These are drivers, libraries and other files that ensure the correct operation of the computer.

It's worth starting with the drivers for the video card. Modern graphics cards are produced by only two large companies - Nvidia and AMD. Having found out which product spins the coolers in the system unit, we go to the official website and download the package of fresh drivers:

A prerequisite for the successful operation of Banished is the availability of the latest drivers for all devices in the system. Download the utility Driver Updater to download quickly and easily latest versions drivers and install them with one click:

If Banished does not start, we recommend that you try disabling your antivirus or put the game in the antivirus exceptions, and also check the system requirements again and if something from your build does not match, then if possible improve your PC by purchasing more powerful components.

Banished has a black screen, a white screen, a color screen. Decision

Problems with screens of different colors can be roughly divided into 2 categories.

Firstly, they are often associated with the use of two video cards at once. For example, if your motherboard has a built-in video card, but you play on a discrete one, then Banished may run on the built-in one for the first time, while you will not see the game itself, because the monitor is connected to a discrete video card.

Secondly, color screens happen when there are problems with displaying the image on the screen. This can happen for various reasons. For example, Banished cannot work through an outdated driver or does not support a video card. Also black/ White screen may be displayed when running at resolutions that are not supported by the game.

Banished crashes. At a certain or random moment. Decision

You play for yourself, play and here - bam! - everything goes out, and now you have a desktop without any hint of the game. Why is this happening? To solve the problem, it is worth trying to figure out what the nature of the problem is.

If the flight takes place in random moment time without any regularity, then with a probability of 99% we can say that this is a mistake of the game itself. In this case, fixing something is very difficult, and the best thing is to just put Banished aside and wait for the patch.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash. In addition, you can download the Banished save and bypass the departure point.

Banished hangs. The picture freezes. Decision

The situation is about the same as with crashes: many freezes are directly related to the game itself, or rather, to the developer's mistake when creating it. However, a frozen picture can often become a starting point for investigating the deplorable state of a video card or processor.

So if the picture in Banished freezes, then use the programs to display statistics on the loading of components. Perhaps your video card has long exhausted its working life or the processor is heating up to dangerous temperatures?

The easiest way to check the loading and temperatures for the video card and processors is in the MSI Afterburner program. If desired, you can even display these and many other parameters on top of the Banished image.

What temperatures are dangerous? Processors and video cards have different operating temperatures. For video cards, they are usually 60-80 degrees Celsius. The processors are slightly lower - 40-70 degrees. If the processor temperature is higher, then you should check the condition of the thermal paste. It may have dried out and needs to be replaced.

If the video card is heating up, then you should use the driver or the official utility from the manufacturer. You need to increase the number of revolutions of the coolers and see if the operating temperature drops.

Banished slows down. Low FPS. Frame rate drops. Decision

With stutters and low frame rates in Banished, the first step is to lower the graphics settings. Of course, there are a lot of them, so before reducing everything in a row, you should find out exactly how certain settings affect performance.

Screen resolution. In short, this is the number of points that make up the picture of the game. The higher the resolution, the higher the load on the video card. However, the increase in load is negligible, so reducing the screen resolution should only be the last resort, when everything else does not help.

Texture quality. Typically, this setting determines the resolution of texture files. Decrease the quality of textures if the video card has a small amount of video memory (less than 4 GB) or if you are using a very old hard drive with a spindle speed of less than 7200.

Model quality(sometimes just details). This setting determines which set of 3D models will be used in the game. The higher the quality, the more polygons. Accordingly, high-poly models require more processing power of the video card (not to be confused with the amount of video memory!), which means that this parameter should be reduced on video cards with a low core or memory frequency.

Shadows. They are implemented in different ways. In some games, shadows are created dynamically, that is, they are calculated in real time every second of the game. Such dynamic shadows load both the processor and the video card. In order to optimize, developers often abandon the full-fledged rendering and add shadow pre-rendering to the game. They are static, because in fact they are just textures that are superimposed on top of the main textures, which means they load memory, and not the core of the video card.

Often, developers add additional settings related to shadows:

  • Shadow Resolution - determines how detailed the shadow cast by the object will be. If the game has dynamic shadows, then it loads the core of the video card, and if a pre-created render is used, then it “eats” the video memory.
  • Soft shadows - smoothing out bumps on the shadows themselves, usually this option is given along with dynamic shadows. Regardless of the type of shadows, it loads the video card in real time.

Smoothing. Allows you to get rid of ugly corners at the edges of objects by using a special algorithm, the essence of which is usually to generate several images at once and compare them, calculating the most “smooth” image. There are many different anti-aliasing algorithms that differ in the level of impact on Banished's performance.

For example, MSAA works "head on", creating 2, 4 or 8 renders at once, so the frame rate is reduced by 2, 4 or 8 times, respectively. Algorithms such as FXAA and TAA operate a little differently, achieving a smooth image by calculating only the edges and using some other tricks. Because of this, they do not reduce performance as much.

Lighting. As in the case of anti-aliasing, there are different algorithms for lighting effects: SSAO, HBAO, HDAO. All of them use the resources of the video card, but they do it differently depending on the video card itself. The fact is that the HBAO algorithm was promoted mainly on video cards from Nvidia (GeForce line), so it works best on the "green" ones. HDAO, on the other hand, is optimized for AMD graphics cards. SSAO is the simplest type of lighting, it consumes the least resources, so in case of brakes in Banished it is worth switching to it.

What should be lowered first? Shadows, anti-aliasing, and lighting effects are usually the most stressful, so it's best to start with them.

Often gamers themselves have to deal with the optimization of Banished. For almost all major releases, there are various related and forums where users share their ways to improve productivity.

One of them is a special program called Advanced System Optimizer. It is made specifically for those who do not want to manually clean up the computer from various temporary files, delete unnecessary registry entries and edit the startup list. Advanced System Optimizer will do this on its own and will also analyze your computer to find out how you can improve performance in applications and games.

Banished lags. Big game delay. Decision

Many people confuse "lag" with "lag", but these problems have completely different causes. Banished slows down when the frame rate at which the picture is displayed on the monitor decreases, and lags when the delay when accessing the server or any other host is too high.

That is why "lags" can only be in network games. The reasons are different: bad network code, physical distance from servers, network congestion, incorrectly configured router, low Internet connection speed.

However, the latter is the least common. In online games, communication between the client and the server occurs by exchanging relatively short messages, so even 10 MB per second should be enough for the eyes.

Banished has no sound. Can not hear anything. Decision

Banished works but doesn't sound for some reason - this is another problem that gamers face. Of course, you can play like that, but it's still better to figure out what's the matter.

First you need to determine the scope of the problem. Where exactly is there no sound - only in the game or in general on the computer? If only in the game, then perhaps this is due to the fact that the sound card is very old and does not support DirectX.

If there is no sound at all, then the matter is definitely in the computer settings. The drivers might not be installed correctly sound card, or maybe there is no sound due to some specific error of our favorite Windows OS.

Management doesn't work in Banished. Banished does not see the mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Decision

How to play if it is impossible to control the process? The problems of supporting specific devices are out of place here, because we are talking about familiar devices - keyboard, mouse and controller.

Thus, errors in the game itself are practically excluded, almost always the problem is on the user's side. You can solve it in different ways, but, one way or another, you will have to turn to the driver. Usually, when you connect a new device, the operating system immediately tries to use one of the standard drivers, but some models of keyboards, mice, and gamepads are not compatible with them.

Thus, you need to find out the exact model of the device and try to find exactly its driver. Often, devices from well-known gaming brands come with their own software kits, since the standard Windows driver simply cannot ensure the correct operation of all the functions of a particular device.

If you don’t want to look for drivers for all devices separately, you can use the program Driver Updater. It is designed to automatically search for drivers, so you only need to wait for the scan results and download the necessary drivers in the program interface.

Quite often, the brakes in Banished can be caused by viruses. In this case, there is no difference how powerful the video card is in the system unit. You can check your computer and clean it of viruses and other unwanted software using special programs. For example NOD32 . Antivirus has proven itself with the best side and have been approved by millions of users around the world.

Suitable for both personal use and small businesses, ZoneAlarm is able to protect your computer with operating system Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP from any attacks: phishing, viruses, malware, spyware and other cyber threats. New users are given a 30-day free trial.

Nod32 is an antivirus from ESET, which has received many awards for its contribution to the development of security. On the developer's website, versions of anti-virus programs are available both for PC and for mobile devices, a 30-day trial is provided. There is special conditions for business.

Banished, downloaded from the torrent does not work. Decision

If the distribution kit of the game was downloaded via torrent, then in principle there can be no guarantees of work. Torrents and repacks are almost never updated through official apps and do not work over the network, because in the course of hacking, hackers cut out all network functions from games, which are often used to check the license.

Using such versions of games is not only inconvenient, but even dangerous, because very often many files have been changed in them. For example, to bypass protection, pirates modify an EXE file. However, no one knows what else they do with it. Maybe they're building a self-fulfilling software.
