  • Reputation purchase with factions
  • Passing special scenarios
  • Construction of special buildings while leveling the Order of the class

After you open access to the secret appearance of the artifact, you will have access to 3 more additional colors. To obtain these colors, you need to perform various actions, with an equipped artifact and an active hidden appearance:

  • Complete 100 dungeons.
  • Complete 200 World Quests.
  • Kill 1000 players of the opposite faction

In addition to secret forms, some artifacts also have secret features - they can be triggered when an artifact is worn on a character. This guide tells about both the features and the appearance of the artifacts.

For obtaining the hidden appearance of an artifact, the achievement Hidden Potential is provided.

How to get the:

To obtain this hidden appearance, you will have to go through a fairly long chain of tasks. In addition, you will need level 6 knowledge of the artifact.

1. Obtain two of Nat Pagle's books:

  • Nat Pagle's Advanced Fishing, which can be looted from the bodies of players in Alterac Valley.
  • A read copy of Nat Pagle's Advanced Fishing, found in the Dusty Tome in Dire Maul.

Do not start the quest that starts with Nefarian's Head or you will lose this item. In the case of a secret appearance, it is important for you to have a head in your inventory.

  1. Make sure you have reached level 6 of the artifact lore.
  2. Talk to Sister Elda with both parts of Nat Pagle's book in your inventory - she will give you a Complete copy of Nat Pagle's Advanced Fishing.
  3. Speak with Prince Thorteldrin in the west wing of Dire Maul with the new book and the Head of Nefarian in your inventory.

Do not touch anyone in Dire Maul, especially the bosses.

  1. Speak with Alexia Ironknife at Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands (Alliance) or Bardou True Eye at Bulwark in Tirisfal Glades (Horde).
  2. Read Grand Inquisitor Isillien's Journal at Hearthglen in Western Plaguelands.
  3. Next is the tricky part - you need to destroy the Big Evil Slime, the respawn time of which can reach 30 hours (it is believed that it is 16 hours). This time depends on the phase and the server, so it is impossible to predict the appearance of mucus.
  4. The slime will drop the item Timolean's Talisman, using which you will see, in fact, Timoleon the Cursed himself. Talk to him and move on to the next step.
  5. 10. Time to catch the Shard of Darkness in the Tondraril River. You can catch him anywhere in the river, no improvement in fishing skill in any way affects the chance of catching. Some received the coveted shard after 100 casts of the fishing rod, while others needed several thousand - it all depends on luck.
  6. 11. Talk to Lord Maxwell Tyrosus and start the Walk in the Shadows quest. At the end of this quest, you will receive the coveted Heart of Corruption and a new artifact skin.

  • Speak with Taoshi at the bottom level of your class hall to start the scenario of The Thunder King's Citadel. Each attempt requires 1 Lei Shen's Palace Key.
  • At the end of the scenario (when you pass it or when the time runs out) open the chests and collect as many Keys to the burial treasury as possible.
  • How to get the Key to the Burial Treasury:
    • Golden Treasure Chest (Large) - 20% chance
    • Mogu Treasure Chest (Small) - 12% chance
    • Drop from

Another class of staff-bearers is the priest. I must say that the staffs turned out to be quite good, but the schadow priests can be immediately recognized by the daggers and creepy tomes. Well, what, they are like warlocks, not averse to using not too light forces in their affairs.

Details on how to get access to a particular artifact appearance can be found. There is information about the mechanics and how they are pumped in.

Meet Kalek at the Violet Citadel in Dalaran.

Description

Light's Fury ... a bold choice. However, such a weapon can turn the tide of this war ... of course, if you can curb its power. Finding this staff will not be easy. The mages of the Kirin Tor gave it to the blue dragons to hide the artifact in a safe place, away from people. Only they know where this weapon is now and how to get it. I think the best thing to do is turn to the dragon Keilek, one of the Council of Six. Find him in Dalaran. and maybe you will get answers to your questions.

Are you looking for the Rage of the Light? A dangerous, very dangerous weapon.

Long ago, the mages of the Kirin Tor entrusted its safekeeping to the blue dragons. The staff was placed in the only place where its unbridled power would not break free - the vault of the Nexus.

However, I have not been there for a long time. After the blue dragons were nearly wiped out, the Nexus was abandoned. So now no one knows if the Nexus vault has survived and what may await you in the Nexus itself.

Having infiltrated the ranks of the order, broke the ceremony. A terrifying magical explosion damaged the staff, and since then its immense power has been almost impossible to control. Although a few daredevils tried to use the Light's Fury, it caused destruction. The Kirin Tor decided to hide the artifact to avoid disaster, and gave it to the blue dragons for safekeeping, who placed the staff in the Nexus Vault.

When a new incursion by the Burning Legion began across the Broken Isles, the priests became interested in the artifact. The hero, led by Alonsius Faol, decided to take possession of the staff and curb its powers. He made his way to the Nexus Vault with the help of dragons, despite the Aetherials who took over the place and used it for their own purposes. The hero managed to contain the enormous forces of the Fury of Light, and he became the new owner of the staff. The artifact was used by the priests of the Conclave to purge Void energy from the naaru in Netherlight Temple.

Receiving

Source of information in this section - add-on Legion to World of Warcraft.

After listening to the suggestions of Alonsius Faol, the future head of the order of priests decided that his key artifact would be the Fury of the Light, once created by the Scarlet Order and hidden by the magicians of the Kirin Tor. Faol warned that the staff contains a great power that could be ruin for the owner, but the hero was confident in himself. Since it was known that the Kirin Tor had given the staff to the blue dragons, Faol offered to seek help from Kalek, one of the Council of Six in Dalaran. The hero went to the Violet Citadel and spoke to Kalek.

The Archmage was surprised to learn of the search for Light's Fury, but still revealed that the blue dragons placed the staff in the only place where its unbridled power would not break free - the Vault of the Nexus. Kalec hadn't been there for a long time. After the blue dragons were nearly wiped out, the Nexus was abandoned. It was difficult to say if the Nexus Vault survived and what the hero might face in the Nexus itself.

Kalec warned that the hero should be well prepared if he is going to visit the Nexus. Strange things were happening in Coldarr, and it was necessary to find out everything before moving on. When Kalec was last in Dragonblight, he felt unusual energetic vibrations emanating from the Lapis Lazuli Dragonshrine. This location was directly linked to the plans of Malygos during the Nexus War, and what was happening there could be the reason for the current state of the Nexus. Kalec could not go there, but gave the hero a special crystal through which he could keep in touch.

Azure Shrine

The hero used the Dalaran portal, which transported him to Wyrmrest Temple, from where he could quickly reach the Azure Shrine. Arriving there, the hero found the furious creatures of the Abyss, which walked alongside the streams of energy in the center of the sanctuary. On the territory there were also many corpses belonging to magicians, and the hero, having examined them, drew attention to a special blade. Kalec's projection, summoned by the crystal, indicated that this weapon is charged with the energy of the Twisting Nether. It seems that its former owner wanted to harness the power of the Abyss.

A strange portal was also found in the sanctuary, and Kalec commented that it looked like the Ethereal portals in Outland. Perhaps they were related to what was happening. Attached to the center of the shrine's ley lines was an Abyssal Energy Conduit, powered by the Abyssal ley lines of Azeroth directed by Malygos into the Twisting Nether. This technology also belonged to the Ethereals.

Continuing the investigation, the hero found the Aetherial intercom, which finally confirmed their presence. Keilek offered to use the device. The hero, having examined the device, made sure that it is still full of energy and was abandoned relatively recently. Nearby was a switch, the activation of which made the illusion of ethereal appear over the intercom. It was Prince Bilaal of the Ethereum fraternity, and Kalec realized that it was this group of Ethereals who had taken over the Nexus. They intended to widen the window into the Twisting Nether, which posed a serious threat to all of Azeroth. Kalec asked the hero not only to find the lost weapon, but also to frustrate the brotherhood's plans.

Coldarra

The hero traveled to Coldarra and approached the Spire of the Nexus, following Kalec's instructions. The Archmage who stayed in touch did not know what the Aetherials were up to, but it was obvious that a lot of Void energy was being produced here. For this, Malygos' breakers were used, and Kalek asked to examine one of them. Near the nearest breakwater, the hero encountered the Ethereal and, when he attacked, destroyed him. Keilek, after checking the condition of the wave catcher, confirmed that the Ethereum Brotherhood had adapted these devices to draw the energy of the Abyss. The same energy fueled the barrier around the Nexus, and the archmage asked to inspect the base. As the hero approached the entrance to the Nexus, Kalec stated that the vault had been weakened. The energy of the staff was bursting out, and this could be used.

According to the magician's plan, the unstable energy of the Light was to be pacified and directed into the wave catchers in order to cause a violent reaction. The hero absorbed a large amount of Light energy, defeating the Lightbeings or absorbing it from the rifts of energy at the base of the Nexus. Now, using the energy, it was possible to destroy the wave catchers by filling them with the power of the Fury of Light. The violent reaction between the two types of energy really allowed the hero to destroy the western, eastern and northern breakwaters. Although the Ethereals tried to stop him, the hero defeated them.

Having broken the last breakwater, the hero heard a voice claiming that there was no more shadow. Keilek explained that Azerugos was freed from the Ethereal trap and returned to the Nexus for artifacts. The capture of Azuregos meant that the Ethereum brotherhood was much stronger than Kalec had thought. Despite the disagreement between the two dragons, Kalec asked to find Azeregos and make sure he was free. After destroying the breakers, the shield enclosing the Nexus dissipated, and the hero was able to enter there. Kalec warned that he would no longer be able to use the crystal for communication because the unstable energy was interfering with its work. He wished him luck and clarified that the entrance to the Nexus Vault is on the lowest level.

Nexus

When the hero entered the Nexus, he saw in the next hall the powerless Azerugos, who was bound by the energy of the Void. The dragon was surprised that an ordinary mortal managed to hack into the protection of the Aetherials. When the hero destroyed the Aetherials guarding the dragon, Azeregos realized that they were on the same side. The hero healed him using his abilities, and the dragon rose to his feet. Upon learning that it was required to enter the Vault, Azuregos promised that he would find a way if the hero helped him to get into the library. He took on the form of a blood elf, which was more convenient for moving through the corridors of the Nexus.

As they made their way to the library, Azuregos noticed that the Lightfury was breaking free. It was a powerful and unpredictable artifact that could strike them at the most inopportune moment. In the Hall of Peace, even the floor was red-hot, and the beasts of Light roamed around, destroying the Aetherials. Finally they entered the library, where runes glimmered in the air. Azuregov, having studied them, stated that the entrance to the Vault was destroyed during the Nexus War. But it was still possible to get there, since the energy of the Vault was still felt. Azuregos suddenly felt a huge surge of Light magic, and before him and the hero appeared another spawn, blazing with the flame of justice. The hero subdued the elemental using his skills and made him extinguish himself.

The energy of the artifact continued to rage and could destroy the entire Nexus if not pacified. Azuregos and the hero hurried to the Rift, which was the only way to the Vault. The Ethereals blocked their path, but the priest and the dragon dealt with them. At the Rift, it was discovered that the bridge that allowed movement here had been destroyed. The hero heard the cry of Prince Bilial, who declared that the brotherhood could not be stopped, despite the destruction of the wave catchers. The power of Light's Fury allowed the opening into the Twisting Nether to be widened.

Azuregos transformed into a dragon and brought the hero to a group of Aetherials who performed a ritual on the prince. The ritual was completed in time, and Bilial was transformed into a monstrous spawn of the Abyss. Azuregos had lost too much of his strength, so the brunt of the battle fell on the hero's shoulders. Although Bilial summoned the magic of the Abyss and drew strength from the rifts, the hero was able to destroy him. Overjoyed, Azuregos took on the form of an elf again and said that he would be able to open a portal and maintain a portal to the Vault.

Upon entering the Vault, the hero saw that the pedestal on which the staff was located was ablaze with fire. He had to use his skills to subdue the staff to his will and harness the fiery energies of Light. When the priest finally took control of Light's Fury, Azuregos announced that the Vault's energy had stabilized. The dragon was impressed: he had not yet met the priests who could curb this artifact. He thanked the hero for his freedom and promised that he would devote himself to protecting the Nexus so that power over the magical fortress would no longer fall into the wrong hands. Azuregos created a portal that was supposed to transfer the hero to Kalecgos, and asked him to say hello to him. Once in Dalaran, the owner of the staff spoke to Kalek and listened to his thanks. It was time to return to the other priests to start creating
