Quest "Emil's Memories" - will tell you one of the most excellent stories, show you an excellent cutscene and take you to one of the locations of the original Nier. Well, how can you refuse it? This guide will teach you where to find the quest "Emil's Memories", how to complete it and at the same time find all the "Moon Tears" that are needed to get the Lunar Tear trophy.

How to find the quest "Emil's Memories"

Complete the main story of the game that takes you to the Forest. Defeat the boss from the castle to return to Pascal.

Next, find Emil's Traveling Shop located northwest of Ruins City, near the Desert Entrance. Shoot his car to stop him. After you talk to Emil, you will need Moon Tears. But the quest itself will appear only after collecting the first one !!!

How to find all Moon Tears flowers in Nier: Automata

There are five moon tears in the game:

Tear # 1: Shopping Center - from the entrance, look behind the escalator near the trees;

Tear # 2: Forest Zone - In a cave south of the main entrance;

Tear # 3: Park Ruins. Walk down the central part of the ruins, then turn right and enter the area with the vending machine (vending machine). The Moon Tear will be in the back right corner;

Tear # 4 - Desert. Note the large rocky mound in the center of the level. There is a narrow cave, through which you have to go and, going upstairs, do long jump to the platform that will be above your head. You will need to get to the dried up tree, and the Tear will be to the right of it;

Tear # 5 - Flooded Coast. Go south of the zone, towards the coast. Look at the lowest point of the zone and be sure to notice the glow.

Elevator Key in Shopping Center

Next, Emil will appear and give you a key to a special elevator in the Shopping Center, which is located just to the left of its entrance. Use the key and enjoy something special for fans of the first Nier.

NieR: Automata is part of the Drakengard series - a fairly popular franchise that has a very interesting feature... We are talking about a tradition that wanders into absolutely every part of the series - the endings are incredible great amount endings that open literally from every player sneeze.

Naturally, to look at all the finals, you need to complete the game dozens of times, which not all gamers are capable of. Two or three passes, if it's really hooked, but then ... Then even the most persistent nerves fail, and only madmen manage to get all the endings on their own.

If you cannot rank yourself among those insane and just want to know how you can get everything 26 endings, then you should go to the Internet and find them there. Actually, this is exactly what you have done now, having stumbled upon our article, in which we will tell you about all the finals of NieR: Automata.

Finally, it is worth noting that most of the endings have a "text" version, when as soon as some of them are a full-fledged video. Nevertheless, each of these 26 endings puts a logical end to the narrative, for which one can only applaud the developers.

- Ending # 1 is the very first ending that opens after the usual debut playthrough.

- №2 - the second final, opening, imagine, after the second passage (new game + mode; you must play from the same save).

- №3 - opens only in the third playthrough, requiring the player to have two conditions: choose 2A in the final and press "no" after the credits end.

- №4 - a third full-fledged passage and choice of answer 9S are required.

- №5 - after receiving the two previous endings, press "yes" after the end of the credits. Your save will be deleted.

- # 6 - do not do anything while hacking the goliath, when you play the game a second time;

- №7 - passing the game a second time, get control of 9S, then go past the chest, climb onto the tower crane and jump onto the building.

- # 8 - Leave the city when Goliath starts attacking.

- №9 - during the debut playthrough, when you get to the Copy City, kill the boss Adam and leave (9S cannot be touched).

- # 10 - Finish off the pastor during chapter 09-01_3.

- # 11 - Eat the mackerel.

- # 12 - During chapter 10-02, leave the location during the boss fight.

- # 13 - Do not visit Pascal's Village when playing as 2A.

- # 14 - Kill all the inhabitants of Pascal's Village.

- # 15 - during the third playthrough, don't fight the final boss, just run away.

- # 16 - during the third playthrough, do not save 2B from the virus.

- # 17 - do not interact with 2B during chapter 11-07 and leave the location.

- # 18 - during the passage of chapter 14-05, deal with all the robots in the location of the Abandoned Factory.

- # 19 - during the third playthrough, after reaching chapter 17-01, escape from Popola and Devola (run away until the ending opens).

- # 20 - discard the OS Chip.

- # 21 - Destroy the shelter by destroying yourself.

- # 22 - Save Popola and Devola while playing chapter 17-01. Hacking the tower is unnecessary.

After speaking with the head of the resistance, you will receive your next quest. He will lead you to the Flooded City. Here you will have to destroy the huge Goliath machine, knocking out his EMP generator. And at the end you need to fight the boss - Eve. Do you want to know how to deal with this easily and simply? Read on!

Flooded city

Move in the direction of the red marker, jumping over the ruins, because the whole city is flooded. You will find an open space with robots, you need to deal with them first. After that, you will receive a message from the commander that you must help the supply carrier. Using the flying device, fly to the ruins of the city. Destroy all enemies on your way until you reach the Blue Ridge II carrier.

The next task is to destroy the 25-level flying Goliath. After his destruction, the enemy will appear much more serious and he will be able to completely destroy the carrier in the ocean. First you need to place the sensor, the EMP generator on the back side. Fly around slowly, avoiding laser attacks and destroy generators. You need to destroy four burning balls and one big one in the middle. This is the EMP generator. Once you destroy everything, go to the center and use the cannon on the shore, shoot directly into the mouth of the enemy. After that, he will come ashore and 9S will offer another strategy to destroy him. Go back and destroy the EMP generator again.

You can see the large generator from above on the back side. Once you destroy it, the next attack from the cannon will destroy the enemy completely. After regaining consciousness, head to the resistance camp and talk to their leader about the dynamic scanners that find the location of the weak signals of the black boxes. Find twins in the camp and discuss the scanners with them. Give your device new capabilities with the menu commands - Skills> Pod Programs: Pod A> A170: Scanner. Head back to Flooded City on the coast, activate the scanner and move around to find survivors. When approaching the desired target, your device will start blinking. Look around until you find a soldier near the broken bus, he will tell you about the location of 9S. Follow the marker and it will lead you to Copied City.

Copied city

Copied City's walkthrough is pretty straightforward, you just need to keep an eye on the red marker at the bottom of the map. Fight Adam, his attacks are too predictable and you can easily deflect them. Despite the fact that this is a 25-level enemy with a high level of health and damage, it will not be difficult for you to defeat him. After killing him, go to 9S. You will receive a message from the commander about the new mission 2B. Players will need to collect secret information about the strange behavior of the machines. Pascal will give the coordinates of an abandoned factory where an investigation will need to be conducted.

Twisted religion

Go with Pascal, on the way you will meet a bunch of robots, talk to the priest and follow him. Later you will need to fight them at the lower level of the factory, there will be a lot of robots and your task is to escape through the elevator. Follow the marker to the top level of the factory. When you finally reach your goal, a level 30 Goliath, a round shape with an energy field around it, will be on your way. Once 9S cuts off the power grid, you can defeat your opponent. Head to the rooftop past the elevator and then to the resistance camp.

In the next scene, you will see the hermit robots killing the camp members. Destroy them and talk to the leader. When you go outside, you will encounter a level 28 Goliath and he will turn into a round metal ball, and you will be able to fight simultaneously with him and other attacking robots from all sides. At this moment, 9S will come to your aid, destroying the car.

The next fight with Adam's twin is Eve. He is surrounded by robots that inflict numerous attacks, so you need to kill them first. Eve will then run away, but you can easily find him with the help of markers. Use different types attacks, and you will be able to come out victorious from this fight.

NieR: Automata is an action RPG. revolves around the invasion of machines on the planet that enslaved humanity. But not all people lost heart and created resistance camps. Players can control the main heroine, android 2B, and sometimes her partner 9S.

Like most RPGs, NieR: Automata has secrets; there are not as many of them as we all would like, but they are. Players who are imbued with the lore of the game, for sure, have already discovered all the secrets of this wonderful world... But many have yet to do this.

I will not talk about the obvious things (management, location of stores, access points, etc.), but I will try to go through all the main points. If you missed something, be sure to let us know!

New game and Debug room

The freedom of action and the player's laid-back journey through the world of NieR: Automata begins after completing the third playthrough and save your results. Then a list of chapters opens, with the possibility of choosing a character, as well as with a demonstration of the current result of the progress achieved in all three passes. You can easily see where this or that quest was missed and immediately return to its implementation.

We also get:

  • Access to Debug Room through the start menu - is an arena where you can fight with whoever you want;
  • Heavy Armor A- military suit of the YoRHa unit with a helmet for 2B;

  • "A2 Wig"- the ability to play for the long-haired A2 (accessory);
  • "Machine Research Report"- an archival document that will fill your base 100%.

A quick way to make money

Here we will have to move a little between the chapters, and accumulate start-up capital. As you already understood, we act after the third run... This amount may be needed only for pumping weapons and buying trophies.

Choose the chapter " 15-04: 9S Repaired". Skip plot dialogues and go to the Resistance Camp merchant.

If you have accumulated enough value that can be sold (see the corresponding postscript), caught a lot of fish - sell. Bought for a penny (or free if you killed Pascal) Children’s Cores can now sell for 50,000 G.

1) You can make money selling Machine Core - 1 pc. for 22,500 G! If you are ready to spend an hour of your other time, prepare a good support chip - Drop Rate Up + (with a 60-90% chance), and at the same time the Large G Luck + item, which increases the drop of money (sold in the store at Devola and Popola), take from reserve. Equip this chip, also check if the Auto-Collect Item chip is equipped.

Head to Copied City for the final battle and start destroying endless enemy masses. With a good chip, Machine Core will drop quite often.

2) And now, with the money in hand, choose the chapter "04-02: Tank Boss". Next, go to the Amusement Park Lane Clown Vendor, Shopkeeaper Machine and purchase from him 99 - Thick Dictionary, 99 - Filler Metal, 99 - Gold Ore, 99 - Black Pearl and 99 - Moldavite... If you can't buy everything at once, only get the Thick Dictionary. Pay attention to the initial price of items, it should not be higher than the one shown in the table, otherwise you will not see the benefits at all. Save your game.

Move to the chapter " 07-01: Reporting to Pascal". Talk to the Scientist Merchant in Pascal's Village who opened the shop after completing the Half-Wit Inventor quest (in which you paid him G 180,000) Buy 99 Meteorite and 99 Meteorite Shard from him Save the game.

In the chapter “ 15-04: 9S Repaired»Sell all purchases from the Resistance Camp merchant.

Your revenue will be about 1,113,750 G (almost the same you will receive for the sale of 50 Machine Core). Save and repeat until you reach your maximum savings!

Important: For maximum benefit, equip your character with mechanical weapons (Machine Sword, Machine Ax, Machine Spear, Machine Heads), which will allow you to make purchases one third cheaper than the offered price. This will double the benefit.

Fast pumping character

NieR: Automata has a very unusual and quick way getting level 99 is faster than getting rich. To do this, you need to be approximately level 70, select a character 9S and go to the entrance to Amusement Park, on the third playthrough of the game... There, on the pedestal, you will see a statue of a large golden rabbit, start continuously pounding and shooting at it until it comes to life! The Rabbit will be level 80, hack it. You will get experience for the hacking process (!), As well as for killing him at the end! The cumulative experience turns out to be huge: for one kill you will get about 4-5 levels (for the best result, equip a pretty Exp Gain Up + chip). One ... well, you already understood that this can be done endlessly. My amount of experience gained was 19 140 EXP for hacking and 49 764 EXP for defeating a boss. Plus, killing him will earn you an incredible amount of Powerup Part L and Machine Core.

When you're done with one, go upstairs until the save option lights up - hit Quick Save right there and boot! Run back from the access point.

Note: If your level is not very high, first destroy all the enemies around: the lower your level, the longer you will have to hack the killer rabbit. If you can't unlock it for a long time, put the upgraded Weapon Attack Up chip.

Secret trophy store (achievements)

After the third playthrough Unlocked access to the secret trophy store. Travel to the Resistance Camp and look for Strange Resistance Woman, a woman with a mask on her head, handing out clues to players. Talk to her - in response, she, as usual, will offer a list of topics, and the one we need will be called “Request unlocking you-know-what”. After that, you will see a numbered list of trophies, without names and other things. To distinguish between them, you will have to check the descriptions attached to them. Also, there will be displayed only those achievements that have not yet been received by you, and the rest will be considered purchased.

Trophy prices:

  • 50,000 G for Bronze;
  • 100,000 G for Silver;
  • 200,000 G for Gold.

Message from 2B

On the third playthrough of the game, teleport to Flooded City: Coast. Using character 9S, walk forward along the destroyed road. Soon it will be possible to turn from it to the right bank. You will see the downed flying unit 2B, in which she left a message for her partner.

Adam's glasses

If you want to get another piece of equipment, namely the accessory " Adam "s Glasses", Go for it. After completing the first and second branches of the passage you will have access to the secret meeting place of Adam and Eve, which is located at the very top of the dilapidated building (the only one accessible for visiting, near the landing site 2B and 9S).

From the City Ruins: Near Factory hotspot, head upstairs to the entrance to that largest building. From the first floor, go straight until you see a long emergency exit staircase. You need to climb to the very top, where you can get to an open section of the roof that was previously inaccessible. Take the glasses left by Adam from the table.

Secret Boss - Emil

Well, pumped up, and now let's go and fill up the secret boss? In fact, you can do it on second playthrough if you have already gained a sufficient level during the game. Further text will be written with an orientation towards meeting with the boss in the second playthrough.

The recommended level is 70+ (it can be lower, but you will need to equip yourself very thoroughly, although even at the age of 70, the boss will give you the heat). You can pump up on the second playthrough in the Copied City, at the place of the final battle, with endlessly respawning enemies, with an Exp Gain Up + chip equipped (with a 60-90% chance).

But first, in order to get the key to the dwelling of our terrible and mighty boss, you need to complete the quest of the old friend Emil, from the first NieR! The quest "Emil" s Memories "serves as a very good reference to the original, allows you to feel a little nostalgic for the old people, and to get into this character for newcomers. And, of course, allows you to do a good deed - to help Emil remember his past. The quest can be completed on the first playthrough for 2B, after passing the Forest Kingdom. But in the future we need the character 9S. If you did not have time to complete the task in the first playthrough, do not worry, you can in the second, or whenever you want.

So, you need to meet Emil, who (suddenly) became an itinerant trader. You can find it near the entrance to the desert, access point "Desert: Camp". Since Emil is a wandering merchant, in the truest sense of the word, first you have to stop him: catch up and shoot, he will stop. After chatting, head to the City Ruins Commercial Facility, the nearest access point, City Ruins: Near Tower. Turn right from the escalator, at the roots of the tree you will see a shining flower - the Lunar Tear, which even androids admire, not like children. The quest begins ... You need to collect four more flowers, the location of which will be indicated on the map.

Second flower look in the Forest Zone: from the entrance, go straight south, hugging the rocks that will be on the right side, until you get into a small cave.

Third flower look at Amusement Park, in the alley with the merchant, near the stairs.

Fourth flower look in the Flooded City: at the very end of the location, look under the destroyed road.

Fifth flower search in the Desert Zone, at its underground level. Go to the buildings in the center where the large pipeline runs. Somewhere in the middle there will be a small rock in which you can see a hole leading underground. Run through the entire underground floor, the exit we need should be hook-shaped. Walk straight to the dead end, then climb up the rocks and jump over to the other side. Having spotted the tree, jump down, the flower will be nearby.

After collecting all the moon tears and obtaining the Elevator Key, return to the shopping center, in the center of which there is an elevator. You go there - complete the quest.

You can now open another elevator in the City of Ruins. From the access point "City Ruins: Cave" get out into the light; then you will need to go around the area on the right side, so that you get somewhere on the level above. There will be a flat roof (where the Speed Star quest was completed) and a large water pipe on the right. Jump into it and open the elevator door, which will take you to the very depths. Walk straight, but keeping to the left, you should soon see another elevator that will take you right where you want to go. Turn right there, and make your way forward through the enemies. Go through all the doors and you will come to Emil's house. This time you need to steal from him, well, it smells of trouble. Approach the stand from his masks and take one (the item Emil "s Mask received).

Return to the surface and look for a merchant who already knows about what happened and will also hasten to complain to you about it.

Attention! While controlling the 9S character, equip suitable chips - preferably large in strength (+6) and taking up not very much space (see screenshot above), upgrade your favorite weapon, stock up on healing (Medium Recovery / Large Recovery - 40+ pieces) and amplifying items (Melee Attack Up (L), Melee Defense Up (L), Ranged Attack UP (L), Ranged Defense Up (L), etc.). Your level is 70+. Save your game.

If you are ready, return to Emil's house and break open the chest with Emil's Head that appeared there. Come out, the time of reckoning has come - Emil himself decided to deal with you!

Emil / Emil: Level 99. The boss is very strong and has a fairly strong arsenal of attacks, one hit removes about half of the character's life (you can equip a chip that increases health, but a good one will take quite a lot of cells). Having caught a blow, do not waste time and use a healer. Immediately apply to yourself all sorts of enhancing items, as soon as their period of action ends - use again. Use Poda and his attacks actively - for example, Wave (the Ranged Attack UP amplifying item will strengthen his attacks, which are very important to us) and evasion (!). If things get tough, use Popola's Booze.

Do not relax to the bitter end - after losing approximately 75% of HP, he can use a deadly attack for you, creating a huge ball of energy. Try not to fall under it.

If you managed to fight back, congratulations - you are invincible thieves!

Secret Boss - Final Round

This time you have to fight the clones of Emil. To do this, you need to complete the third playthrough of the game and gain access to the selection of chapters, pump all weapons to level 4, and get level 99. The fight will be less severe, not very many healing and strengthening items will be required.

Select the chapter "07-01: Reporting to Pascal" and go to the shopping center of the City of Ruins, meet Emil there and take the quest "Emil" s Determination. He will unfold in the desert: from the access point "Desert: Center" run to the right until you will not see Emil's huge heads As soon as you talk to the employer, a fight ensues.

Emil Clones: Level 99. A lot of Emil's goals will appear in front of you, which will have to be beaten. Since they will attack all together, start exterminating them one by one: if the head you are hitting does not take damage, immediately move to the next one (L2 sight to help) and destroy it. Use power-ups and heals if necessary, use Popola's Booze, if you haven't done so before (it won't come in handy anymore). After removing all HP from them, two scenarios will follow:

  1. Emil will start self-destruct and the timer along with it. Do nothing, and then you will get one of the endings: "Ending Y". I advise you to perform this option first if you go to Platinum.
  2. Emil will start self-destruct and the timer along with it. Listen to Emil's chatter until the opportunity arises to destroy the Clones, and follow them continuously.
His story ends on this beautiful and sad note.

Location of all Gold Machine

A meeting with these enemies will contribute to filling the informative base (Unit Date) by 100% and obtaining one item necessary for crafting. Well, new impressions of the player.
