The half-month testing of Update 1.7 for The Division is coming to an end. During the latest State of the Game live stream, the game's developers announced the release date of the update - next Tuesday, August 15th.

Update 1.7 will bring several new mechanics to The Division and change some of the existing systems. Here is a description of the key changes and innovations. Please note: in the release version of the update, something may change, the final list of changes will be published on August 14.

Acknowledgments and patches
New achievements, reworked system of feats. For passing special tests, pumping the necessary parameters or performing a certain sequence of actions, players will receive a special rating of gratitude, which can be compared with other agents. The best agents will receive special patches. You can learn more about the thanks.

Global Events
Special weekly events for players who have completed the main storyline The Division. Events can help you get to know the game world better and get special rewards. The complexity of events is configured using modifiers, events can be passed in a group or alone. For participation in events, tokens are issued, which are exchanged for containers with rewards. The first event kicks off on August 15th. You can learn more about global events.

Classified equipment
Special equipment tied to global events. Along with each event, several types of classified equipment will appear in the game. In fact, these are improved versions of regular equipment. The level of classified equipment is always 256, sets of such equipment have bonuses for 5 and 6 items. During a global event, new equipment is obtained only by opening classified containers; after the event is over, it can drop out along with ordinary items. You can learn more about classified equipment.

Cryptokeys and encrypted equipment
IN game world you can find parts of the crypto keys. A whole key is assembled from ten parts, which opens the encrypted container. Containers are bought from premium vendors, after opening the container, the player will receive new items of clothing. Whole keys can also be purchased from vendors.

Changing the character's appearance

Global events, previously announced under the working title "seasons", are meant to breathe new life in open world The Division and give players a good excuse to return to infected New York. These events will take place in PvE zones after the completion of all story missions.

Important note:

Everything that you will see and read here is under development and highly dependent on the success of testing on the TCP. Please keep this in mind and do not forget to share your impressions on the PlayGround forum.

MODIFIERS AND MORE

These global modifiers will also be associated with events taking place in New York. They will allow players to get to know the game world better.

In addition to the global modifier, several separate custom modifiers are planned with which you can customize the global events to your liking. Custom modifiers are only available in a special list global events, which includes not only basic operations, but also invasions!

Event modifiers will give you the opportunity to add your own flavor to global events, and group modifiers - check how well your team is doing. Three main types of global event modifiers are planned.

TOKENS, CONTAINERS, WARDROBE ITEMS AND MUCH MORE!

You will earn tokens by participating in all events of the global event, whether modified by players or not. These tokens can be spent at the new Global Events Vendor, who trades sealed containers with new items in the world of The Division. As a reward for participating in global events, players will receive unique items wardrobe. In the near future, K will talk about all these new awards in more detail.

GLOBAL MODIFIERS

Global modifiers, as well as the events themselves, are designed to always bring something good to the player. But they not only help the player to complete any task, but also are a source of fresh impressions - for example, the player will be able to complete the task in some new, interesting way.

GROUP MODIFIERS

And finally, group modifiers. These modifiers are the next logical step in the development of the event modifier. They preserve the positive qualities of the global modifier, increase the difficulty, like event modifiers, and stimulate a group of players to act tactically. They require clear coordination and teamwork, but the reward will be truly generous.

MODIFIERS OF EVENTS

Event modifiers, on the other hand, not only help the agent, but also slightly increase the difficulty level. They work well with the global modifier and bring you the same benefit, but it costs a little more.

Similar to underground directives, these modifiers plus the global stage in which you play affect the amount of tokens you earn.

So far to team The developers Division plans to host global events once a month for one full week. On the weekends between Global Events, they'll host the familiar double-reward events so that loyal Division agents always have something to do.

The Division is getting a massive free update today. One of the biggest innovations will be the so-called "Global Events". For completing certain challenges, participants will be able to receive excellent rewards, including classified sets of equipment and items of clothing. The first event, "Epidemic", will last one week and will invite gamers to fight infected enemies.

During the passage of global events and regular missions, users will perform "thanksgiving" - special tasks, such as killing hundreds of opponents with a shotgun or completing missions on the legendary difficulty level. Trophies will be awarded even to those who have found all the collectibles on the map.

The aforementioned classified equipment has higher base parameters than other items, and has new recalibration capabilities. And if you have a set of 5 or 6 items, you will be able to get significant additional bonuses. Also in the inventory of the gamer will appear masks issued for participation in rating battles or the performance of "thanks".

Other innovations include encrypted containers with emotes, items of clothing, and paintjobs - you need to open them with the keys found in the city. Also, users will finally be able to change their appearance and get rid of the sunglasses that they chose as an accessory when creating the hero.
