Is it worth collecting identical Pokémon. Pokemon Go, what to do with the captured Pokemon. Pokemon go problems: "you already own this item" error

Are pokeballs going to waste? Now they won't!

So you have acquired Pokemon go(if you have Android, then before many of us), danced a jig, finding Charmander in their living room, and now they went out into this huge ruthless world in the hope of finding someone else.

The water masses are filled with water Pokémon, the determination to move away from the starting point brings rare monsters to hobbyists' bins, in general, a good day for catching Pokémon.

That's just ... Pokemon GO is a complete product Nintendo, and according to longtime fans, this company is notorious for stuffing games with something that you don't immediately notice.

So if you're going to be the best, you need all the help you can ...

15. What do the footprints mean?

While this may look like they represent the level of popularity, since you will occasionally see more footprints near the main Pokémon, they instead represent distance.

You see, after installing Pokemon GO, the game uses GPS to locate your location in the real world. The number of footprint images is dictated by the radius of distance from this starting point, that is, three prints show a radius of 300 meters, two - 200, and one means a hundred or less meters to the Pokemon.

The direction of travel does not matter, as you are dealing with a radius from the above mentioned point of your location. You will notice that the position of a particular Pokemon in the "Nearby" window changes and moves at the same time as the countdown of the number of tracks as it gets closer.

14. Trade the same Pokémon for candy

As in most games, while traveling, you will come across the same Pokémon, especially if you are hunting in special areas. In this case, click on the pokeball and go to the pokedesk (left icon), select the pokemon and scroll down the page.

Now select "Exchange" and Professor Willow will take the animal out of your hands, leaving the candy in return. These candies can be used to speed up the development and increase the Combat Power (a universal skill used in battles), so if you have a bunch of the same monsters, exchange them and tidy up the main team.

13. Getting daily free items in the store

Once you've gotten around to the cool idea of actually placing the available Pokeballs in store locations, you might be struck by the thought of actually having to go to the store to stay stocked.

Fortunately, this is not entirely true: a jump into the store menu from the pokeball icon opens up the world of microtransactions (the application is free, but Niantic / Nintendo also needs to return your money), nevertheless, look at the upper right corner of the screen and at the shield icon.

Once a day, you can get a daily bonus, and if you have already missed a few days, the numbers in the middle indicate the amount of freebies available.

12. How to always hit with a pokeball (which means a ring)?

These pokeballs are great only in Paper Toss! - you say to yourself after the first battle. Yes and no, because there is more going on here than just throwing and hoping for the best. In fact, you may have noticed a lot of multi-colored rings around your opponent.

They determine how easy or difficult it is to catch a creature and when you see a green ring wait a little for it to shrink before throwing it so you can always catch your prey. You can resize by holding your finger over the Pokémon to squeeze the ring when it appears, and if you do this before throwing the Pokeball, you will almost always hit.

Red and orange rings mean that you need to calm down the Pokemon a little first, otherwise it will break out and you will just waste items. Buying or finding Pokeballs Greatball or Masterball will give a greater chance of catching high-ranking Pokémon without all these actions, you can also find or buy berries that turn the color of the Pokémon's rings back to green, which will make it easy to catch it.

11. How to throw a twisted ball?

You caught a few Pokemon, decided on a lot and went pretty far, that's great, but maybe you want to try something a little more difficult?

To throw a Spin Ball (which gives you more XP, but also the risk of wasting the Poke Ball), simply hold the Poke Ball and rotate it so that it flashes - similar to modifying objects into Super mario Maker.

As soon as this happens, let it fly - most likely, by - in the end, learn how to hang it. Combine it with Lucky Egg to double your core experience and the rating will skyrocket in no time.

10. Nothing is tracked when the app is in sleep mode

Unlike basic downloads and other popular mobile applications, different systems Pokemon GO games (tracking and populating the world, nursing eggs, etc.) are completely non-functional when the application is inactive or the phone is in sleep mode.

This means that you have to leave the application running and running if you want to hatch eggs, covering a certain distance, so forget about sleep mode, walk a good hundred or two meters and reap the benefits.

The application constantly needs to track your location, since the distance to each specific Pokemon is constantly monitored. Keep in mind that turning off the app will reset your start point data. In such a scenario, it is difficult not to think about preserving the battery life ...

9. What does Power Saving Mode actually save?

The main complaint about Pokemon GO is due to the huge battery drain. Since the apps combine constant GPS tracking with the ubiquitous server sync, a full charge could run out in 40 minutes.

Niantic is working on a solution to this problem, but the included power saver turns off when you flip the phone in your pocket. Helpful advice from PowerFang: the screen will turn off, and everything else will work, just leave the phone with the headphones on and it will vibrate if a pokemon is nearby or gives a signal when it notices a pokéStop nearby.

This is not a perfect workaround, but if you plan on waiting in special areas to see what hatches, or walking long distances without constantly looking at your phone, then this method is very effective.

8. Development of Pokémon after a knockout with full health recovery

We'll get back to battles and gims later (after all, the main thing in Pokemon GO is adventure and hunting), but they say that your pet got thrashed, so much so that he passed out altogether.

Pokemon GO provides an easy option to bounce back, whereas before a Pokemon with zero health could be brought back to life with an increasing difference in remaining balance, a knocked out Pokemon now respawns with full health as if you had just caught it.

The point is not to waste essential items like yellow potion to revive Pokémon when you can use the right candy or stardust and get an almost new Pokémon.

7. You can catch Pokemon just by standing still

Yes, praise God for that, PokeGO (as officially shortened) is definitely made to pull you out and get you to walk around a bit, well, since the world is inhabited, standing still can pay off too.

Developers Niantic created game world starting from databases Google maps and their own servers, implying that walking and running will serve as a trigger for the appearance of various monsters, depending on the surrounding space (buildings, water masses, etc.). However, it is precisely because of the load and pickup times of the server that while standing still, you will see Pokémon randomly pop up inside a small radius.

The best way to play is to walk a good hundred meters, then stand and let this part of the game world load (this will be seen by the spinning pokeball in the upper left corner). There is a chance that the Pokémon will pop up after an arbitrary period of time, so you should pause and look around the area in search of hidden things.

6. You can give a name to your Pokemon

A small point that every self-conscious Pokémon owner should know, giving his little squad a charge of unique names. To do this, go to the Pokémon menu, select the monster and take a look at the little pencil icon next to its name. Tap it and you can enter any word (ANY you like), customizing the command to your liking.

It is still an open question whether curses and curses are censored by other players, but somehow there was one Magikarp named Labia - purely for experimental purposes - and nothing!

5. How to use pokestop correctly

Okay, let's say the game describes how pokestop works, but there is an opinion that it is not clear enough. You see, the usual advice is that these PokéStops will change shape when you get close and that you need to hit them hard to create Poke Balls and other items.

This is not entirely true. On the main game screen, when approaching, the pokéStop begins to change and you need to touch it to enlarge the picture, and only then twist it with all your might, the icon will start producing items that you just have to pick up. This is repeated about once every five minutes until you get bored.

Bonus advice: since every item and item of progress is synchronized with the servers Niantic, after you spin the circle with the picture, just click on the exit button and all the necessary items will be added to your inventory automatically, that is, you do not have to wait for the animation to end. The people use this method, calling him " Check-in at PokéStop", as it is especially convenient in city traffic.

4. What does grass animation mean?

Going out for the first time in search of Pokémon can be a little awful in the best sense of the word. You had Professor Willow's world loaded with Poké Balls, few of which blew the heads of innocent Pokémon. But now what?

First, take a look at the map of the world. In an early quest, the game refrains from prompting real direction, your first target appears when you go to the fifth level, so you can get bogged down in gym battles.

However, the most quick way- targeting special zones with a significant number of Pokémon inside. Take a look at the animation showing some rustling blades of grass, no doubt full of herbal Pokémon and doppelgangers to give to Professor Willow. Again, the game world is just a layer on our own, so fields are fields, rivers are rivers, and so on.

3. How to fight with other players and become a Gym leader?

Okay, you can't fight other coaches in real time, but the closest realization of your capabilities happens in gyms.

First you need to raise your level to 5, then you can capture a neutral, gray-colored Gym for yourself, or lead a colored Gym (color means that it belongs to members of three teams - Instinct, Mystic and Courage), in which you will be able to fight with a Pokemon one on one.

Depending on how many people have bet on taking possession of that particular location, the person with the most combined combat power will by default become the Leader (you will meet him at the end), everyone else will be just trainers through whom you work your way to the top.

Please note that the battle is not turn-based. Swipe left and right across the screen while dodging attacks and touch your opponent at the same time to deal maximum damage in the shortest amount of time. The only thing that distracts from the dodge tactics is the need to keep an eye on a special counter, but there is a chance that the battle will end before the countdown. After winning, depending on the number of people to go through, the Gym may still be colored, repeat the process until it turns gray and then place the virtual flag.

After that, you can become the leader of this Gym, provided that your combat power is maintained at a high enough level. There are rumors on various (not yet confirmed) that Niantic will add a turn-based battle in real time, but for now - head up, gather an army and capture all the gyms that you find!

2. How to use special moves in battle

For the first few fights, fighting in gims will be a hassle: getting overwhelmed by higher level opponents, not knowing when to dodge, dropping servers, and constant game lag, but don't worry.

Everything that happens to the Pokemon on the screen is increased by a special attack counter. How many counter segments you need to accumulate to activate a special move differs from monster to monster, but you can see this on the Pokémon screen (at the top).

Select a creature and scroll down, just keep this in mind when you're on the eve of battle. You will have the opportunity to disrupt all the plans of opponents at the last second, thanks to any previous battles, a special attack is already prepared.

1. Data recovery when there is no boot

This tip is especially for the first couple of months, while the servers Nintendo battle the world's population playing Pokemon GO and wanting to stay logged in.

There are crashes in the game when after loading appearance Persian and everything else seems to be the same in the norm, but the Pokedex and all progress is destroyed. Not good.

To remedy this situation, you need to find a way to shut down Pokemon GO completely, rather than keep it active. For Android, this means that you need to go to the application manager. All data must be permanently stored on Niantic's servers, so in theory, your progress was not lost, but just not recoverable during a ping of the server.

Closing and reopening the app requests a re-connection to the server and recovers any lost data. Hopefully, if this happens to you, your recovery will be just as painless.

All methods of installing Pokemon Go can be found on this page:

(version for android 4.4.2 and higher. Intel devices are still in flight)

HOW TO WALK IN Pokemon GO (INTRODUCTORY DATA)

At the beginning of the game, you will need to log in using your google account (since apk is taken from an unofficial source, it is not recommended to use an account tied to ingress). After choosing the color of clothes, hair, skin, you will be presented with a map - a real map of the area on which you need to walk with your feet. Three test Pokémon, which will need to be caught, will immediately be "thrown up". After catching the first Pokemon, you will be prompted to enter a nickname (nickname must be unique and must not be the name of one of the Pokemon).

Main screen:

To find and catch a Pokemon, strangely enough, you will have to move around the city (in real space) with gps and the game turned on. Camera control tap + swipe - turn, double tap + swipe - zoom in / out.

The appearance of Pokémon is not tied to PokéStops (portals), they appear randomly not far from your route. It has been noticed that the appearance of Pokémon near arenas is more frequent.

To search, at the bottom right, there is an indicator that there are Pokémon somewhere nearby. When you click on it, a window with more detailed information will open (when you select a specific Pokemon in the nearby window, when moving in its direction, the window will flash with a green frame):

To catch the found pokemon, you need to tap (click) on it, when it appears in front of you, you need to throw the pokeball at it and get into the green or yellow circle (after catching the pokemon, it can get out of the trap - you will have to catch it again or leave it):

To catch “difficult” Pokémon (with a yellow circle), feed them a berry (from the Razz Berry backpack), and it will be easier to catch them. In addition to Poké Balls, there are also Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and Master Balls.

The color of the scope circle means the difficulty of catching: green - easy, yellow - difficult, orange - veri hard, red - unrealistic)). The size of the circle also affects the chance of catching a Pokemon - the narrower the circle, the higher the chance of catching. The pokeball can be played twisted, then when caught, there will be a bonus xp.

After capturing a Pokémon, it will appear in your Pokémon Storage (not to be confused with your inventory).

At the moment, not all types of Pokemon have been introduced into the game, but about 147 species. You can catch and store multiple Pokémon of the same species.

For the captured Pokémon, they give game points (AR). The number of APs for different captured Pokémon is different. Also, AR is given for collected items, the capture of pokéstops and battles (more on this later). A certain number of collected ARs allows you to get the next level.

Pokemon GO TEAMS

Upon reaching the 5th level, you need to choose a team.

There are 3 teams in the game, indicated by three colors: yellow (instinct), blue (mysticism), red (valor). In order for the choice of a team to appear, the arena must be in your area of action, click on it, the leaders of each team will appear in front of you and tell you what the “strength” is:

Spark: Hi, my name is Spark and I am the leader of Team Instinct. (Yellow). Pokémon are creatures with great intuition. I bet the secret of this intuition lies in the process of their emergence from the egg. Trusting your instincts - you won't lose!

Blanche: I am Blanche, the leader of Team Mystic. (Blue). The wisdom of Pokémon is immeasurably deep. I study the reasons for their evolution. Thanks to a calm analysis of the situation, it is impossible to lose!

Candela: I am Candela - the leader of the Valor team! (Red). Pokémon are stronger than humans, and they have hearts too! I am researching how to enhance the natural power of Pokémon in search of real power! There is no doubt that the Pokémon trained by our team are the strongest in battle!

Be careful - you cannot change the team,
the choice is given only once.

POCKETS (PORTALS) Pokemon GO

There are two types of “portals” - pokestops (for obtaining inventory) and arenas (gyms) - for training and battles.

Pokéballs tend to end, so they need to be mined from PokéStops (portals). To do this, you need to click on the pokestop (portal) (it must be within the radius of your action, be active):

swipe its image (circle in the middle) from right to left or left to right.

After receiving items from the PokéStop, the next time you can “spin” it after 5 minutes (you can determine it by the color of the PokéStop: blue is available, pink is already spinning, you have to wait). It is not necessary to wait for the end of the spinning animation and pick up objects, you can spin it and exit right away - the items will automatically go into your inventory.

ARENA (GIM, PRESS) Pokemon GO

Pokémon are needed to capture and hold the arena (gym). Go to the unoccupied arena (gim) and plant your Pokemon there:

If the arena (gym) is already occupied by a player of the other team, then you have to overthrow the Pokemon, free the arena (gym) and occupy it. You can also plant your Pokémon in your team's busy arena (there is a limit on the number, see below). The higher the level of the arena (gyma), the more Pokémon the enemy will spend to take possession of it.

How to act: you approach the arena (Gym) - open it - press the glove at the bottom right - select 6 Pokémon for battle - after GO you start tapping on the enemy - when the blue mana bar is typed, a long tap on your Pokemon - you can swipe right to the left, avoiding the impact - if the arena is pumped up (that is, more Pokémon were planted there), then you will have to fight again, and so on until you knock out all the Pokémon.

To free the arena (Gym) from the opponent's Pokémon, you need to lower its prestige to 0. To raise the prestige of your arena (Gym), you need to train in it defeating your own Pokémon.

If your first Pokemon in the arena is defeated, then the second one connects. A third of another player (most importantly, of one faction) can connect.

Fighting in your own arena (gim) is the same as fighting in the opponent's arena (gim). Only in the case of their own Gym, Pokémon do not crash when they lose. It is better to swing in other people's arenas (gyms). It is more optimal to put more powerful Pokémon on your own so that they are not knocked out.

One of the reddit users also reported receiving maximum level Gima is level 30 with 21 Pokémon slots. This required a total of 204,000 Prestige Points.

If Gym Prestige is reduced to zero, the defending team loses control of the Gym, and you or another player can take control of the Gym by assigning a Pokémon there, which will defend the right to the Gym.

Also, each occupied arena (gym) brings you +10 coins per day, you can pick up coins in the store accessible from the game menu. You can receive no more than 100 coins 1 time every 21 hours, i.e. if you capture 15 arenas, then there will also be 100 coins. All players whose Pokémon are in the arena (gyme) receive coins, not only the one who captured:

What can be bought with coins:

  • Pokeballs (for capturing Pokemon).
  • “incense” lures - increase the chance of finding / attracting wild Pokémon by 30 minutes, from 1 to 3 Pokémon every 5 minutes (Pokémon, which are not found in the vicinity, can run to the bait).
  • Lucky Egg (doubles the points earned in the game for 30 minutes).
  • module "lure" (inserted into the pokéStop and lures the Pokémon, but, unlike the individual lure, everyone who is near the pokéStop can see them).
  • incubator (three times a day, for growing eggs).
  • backpack upgrade (increases inventory).
  • storage upgrade (increases the storage capacity of Pokémon).
  • poke coins (buy a handful of game coins for real money).

Arena (Gym) Questions:

  • How to replace a Pokemon in the arena (gyme)? - Not until the enemy knocks him out.
  • Why can't I knock the Pokemon out of the arena? As soon as the battle begins, everything collapses and I again find myself in the arena's dressing room. - Communication glitches. Restarting sometimes helps. It happens that the enemy Pokémon has CP10, and he kills the whole team (bug). Sometimes it helps just waiting for the end of the battle (the probability of victory is about 25%)
  • How to challenge a Pokémon to battle with another Pokémon? - With wild in any way. Only in the arena (gyme).
  • What happens to my knocked-out Pokemon? Is it lost forever or is it coming back to me? - Returns to the vault.

EGGS Pokemon GO

So, you came across an egg in the game (dropped from PokéStops) - to germinate it, you need an incubator. In your inventory there is already one - unlimited, also in the store (game) you can buy three times a day or you will be given when you reach the level, and grow several eggs at the same time. In order for the egg to germinate, you need to go through the N-th number of kilometers (indicated on the egg, there are 1, 2, 5, 10, the further the better the Pokemon). The eggs found themselves are visible on the page next to the page of your caught Pokemon (in the Pokemon store, second tab. In total, you can carry only 9 eggs and you cannot get rid of them, just “hatch”.

Pokémon GO UPGRADE

You can also improve and upgrade your Pokémon. To do this, select a Pokémon in your storage. To upgrade or upgrade you will need stardust and candy. You need 1 candy for enhancement, for an upgrade in different ways depending on the Pokemon - 12, 25, 50, 100, 200 or 400. The Pokemon level is not written anywhere, but you need to navigate by the notch on the arc on top of the Pokemon. The amount of dust required is also different. At least 200 dust to upgrade the weakest Pokémon. You get stardust when you catch or incubate a Pokemon (100 dust for each) and in the form daily bonus for the captured arenas (in addition to coins), the professor sends you sweets when you send your Pokemon “for experiments” (1 candy for each), while the sent Pokemon will not return to you. You can donate sick Pokémon. The button for sending (transfer) is located at the very bottom of the Pokemon window. Also in the pokemon storage window, you can sort them by number in pokedex, chosenness, catch time, name, combat strength.

The scale in the form of a semicircle above the Pokemon is an indicator of combat power ( combat strength), the entire scale is the maximum possible CP at a given player's level, the dot marks the current CP. If the position of the point on the scale is not the extreme right, then the CP and HP values can be improved by pressing “Power UP”. Even if your Pokemon has a full meter, you can improve it a few more times by getting new level... You can give a Pokemon a new name by clicking on the pencil next to the old one (you can use Cyrillic, but no longer than 12 characters).

Everybody went crazy around - in in social networks discussing not politics, parties and a new series, but Pokemon. If you do not understand and do not want to understand what is happening, then just do not read on. Because we, as they say, are gonna go deep down into that madness.

So, you are already playing Pokemon GO or are just waiting for the Russian release, but do not understand all the mechanics, or in general - what can you do in this game? It doesn't matter, we'll explain everything now.

If suddenly you thought that a game about collecting Pokémon in police stations was a race, then this is not so. Pokemon GO is a PvP game in which collecting monsters for real map peace is just a way to diversify and strengthen your army. We'll dwell on the mechanics of a direct asynchronous multiplayer a little later, but now let's start simple.

How to catch a Pokemon in Pokemon GO

When you walk in the real world, moving around in this way game map, you will come across different Pokémon that you can catch with the Pokeball. As soon as a monster appears on the map around you, poke your finger at it and start combat mode. The first thing to do is disable AR mode... Despite the fact that there are so many hilarious photos associated with this mode on the Internet, it is actually less convenient and also eats more phone battery (trust me, you will need it). As soon as you see a Pokemon in front of you, pinch your finger on the Pokeball in front of you and throw, giving it an impulse to set a specific flight path. Some Pokémon are closer to you, some are farther away.

As soon as you pinch your finger on the Pokeball, a white ring will appear on the Pokemon with a second moving colored ring inside it. The color of the inner ring indicates the difficulty of capturing the Pokemon: green - easy, yellow - medium, red - hard. With a red ring, you might need a lot of tries to catch the Pokémon.

It is optimal if you hit the Pokemon exactly where the inner ring closes. Moreover, the smaller the colored ring and the more accurate the throw with a hit inside the ring, the greater the chances of receiving the Nice, Great or Excellent bonus (additional experience points for the character).

Sometimes a Pokemon can break out of the Pokeball right after being captured. It doesn't matter, just catch it again and try to do it with a slightly different timing, in order to definitely get Great or Excellent - this will give additional experience, and will also increase the chances of catching a Pokémon.

Pokemon can also run away from you right during the battle or right after jumping out of the Pokeball. As far as we know, no one has yet figured out the exact reasons that affect escape.

Try to catch new Pokémon, which you have not seen before, because for this they give an extra 500 XP. And so for the capture of each you will be given 100 XP, another 50 XP for the Great Throw (described above).

Pokémon are found in a wide variety of places in your city / village / field / mountain / desert. Their types roughly depend on the area, as well as on the time of day. In parks and forests, you will come across more forest Pokemon (plants, worms, butterflies, women), in the city - more urban (rats, birds, ghosts), and in the park - park (mimes, fish, crabs).

IMPORTANT: in sparsely populated places where there are few Pokemon GO users, monsters will come across you less often. And in crowded places, such as a large tourist center, shop or city center - more often. Reddit already has a lot of screenshots of situations where people bumped into a crowd of Pokémon in some passable place, like a gas station.

In the lower right corner of the main interface, there is a special Pokemon tracking that shows how far a particular monster is from you. You can open this module, poke at the desired Pokemon and try to walk in the real world to see if the number of tracks decreases (three - far, one - close). The closer a Pokemon is to you, the less traces remain in the tracking menu. One footprint, judging by the testimony of the players, is approximately 40 meters.

At level 12, you will be given the new Great Pokeball, which will allow you to catch powerful and rare Pokemon faster and more likely. At level 20, the game will give out even cooler Ultra Pokeballs, which, as you understand, are needed for even cooler Pokemon.

What is CP in Pokemon GO

One of the main measures of a Pokémon's strength is Combat Power. This is the cumulative average value of all known parameters of a Pokemon, such as its hit points, height, size, impact force. Roughly speaking, a Pokémon of the same type with the same CP will deal the same amount of damage during a PvP battle. By the way, in your catalog of available Pokémon, you can sort the collected monsters by different parameters, including CP.

Try to keep the Pokémon with the highest CP mainly in the collection (so that you have a base army of 15-30 powerful Pokémon), but at the same time, if possible, collect “garbage” with low power - you can also use these poor fellows, about this a little bit later.

Your Pokemon card has an arc that shows the CP limit for a given monster in accordance with your character's level. If the arc is full, then this means that you will not be able to improve such a Pokemon at this level. By raising the level of the character, you will again get the opportunity to improve the Pokemon.

Your level in Pokemon GO

For different activities you will receive experience points that will help you swing your character to a higher level. The level primarily affects the power of the Pokémon that you meet on your way. At the fifth level, you will mainly come across Pokémon with 30-90 CP, but at the eighth - already with 70-200 CP. For each new level, the game gives you quite important inventory items from the master's shoulder, about them too a little later.

Almost every Pokemon has two or even three evolutionary forms. You can catch both an already evolved Pokemon and a monster at the basic stage of development. Each of the Pokémon (within the 1-2-3 stages of evolution) has its own special resource - candy. For capturing a Pokemon, you get 1-10 candies of its kind (mostly about 2-3 pieces), which you can later spend on the following purposes: strengthening a Pokemon of this kind or its evolution.

In addition, the game has a transfer mechanic. You are essentially selling unneeded Pokémon for one candy. That is why above we advised you to collect garbage Pokémon whenever possible, because you can immediately send them home for one candy of their kind. To make a transfer, select an unwanted Pokemon, scroll down and click on the Transfer button, which is located after the card where you caught the Pokemon.

At first, try not to spend candies to enhance Pokémon (at least up to level 10, for sure), since not only candy is spent to increase CP and other parameters, but also 600 stardust (it is also obtained by capturing Pokémon, about 100-300 pieces per capture).

But you can easily release these candies for evolution, because from it you get extremely positive results: 500 XP for your character, as well as strengthening the existing Pokémon (try to evolve more or less strong individuals, even if it is a garbage species like rats or worms).

Try to evolve powerful Pokémon at higher levels. Ideal when you have base monster with a very high CP parameter (preferably as high as possible for your level) and a good special attack (more on that later), then you can evolve it into a more powerful version, and then feed it with candy with stardust for amplification.

Your backpack holds a whole bunch of items: Pokeballs, potions for healing and resurrecting Pokémon, poisonous berries for weakening, attraction modules, and other joys of a young trainer.

The most interesting for us are items for attracting Pokémon. There is an essence in the form of a white-green flying saucer and a module in the form of a purple chip.

You can use the essence anytime, anywhere to attract Pokémon to your character for the next 30 minutes. This is convenient if you are sitting at work or school, you cannot especially walk around. For half an hour, from three to ten Pokémon of the most different strengths will come running up to you. Both completely garbage and quite rare ones can come running, how lucky!

With the module, much more interesting story: you can use it on PokéStop (blue bars on the map at various local attractions). The module works the same as the essence, but spreads the effect to all players. That is why a lot of stories appear on the Internet when cafes make discounts to customers if they have this module working, or the cafes themselves turn it on several times a day, openly declaring this on their social networks.

Both the module and the essence can be purchased with in-game currency. And you can get for the level of your character. In-game currency is earned in jims (gyms) or bought for real money.

You should not buy Pokeballs for currency, because they fall out abundantly when you visit a PokéStop (you need to spin the disc in its menu, 2-8 Pokeballs will fall out, as well as other useful items). In addition, pokeballs are poured for each character level (10-20 pieces). As a result, if you are not at all crooked and do not spend 10-20 Pokeballs on catching one Pokemon, the number of balls you have will only increase - they will even have to be thrown away to free up space in your backpack.

Items that heal and restore Pokémon (Potion and Revive) will appear in your backpack - they are also often found on PokéStops, and also drop in large quantities per character level.

There are special berries that help you catch difficult Pokemon (with a red or yellow ring during the capture). Once you feed them this berry, the next Pokeball will have a much better chance of being caught.

Carrying eggs in Pokemon GO

Sometimes you will come across eggs on PokéStops. In order to take it out, you need to put the egg in the incubator. By default, you have one, but you can buy a few more for in-game currency, or wait for you to get one per character level. Purchased and dropped incubators are capable of carrying a limited number of eggs (usually three), and the one that is given by default is an infinite number. It would be good for you to have 2-3-4 incubators at once so that you can hatch several eggs at once.

The mechanics of gestation are simple: put the egg in the incubator and walk in the real world with the application open for the distance indicated - 2, 5 or 10 kilometers. The game clearly has anti-cheating mechanisms built in, as cycling can stop adding mileage.

Naturally, some not very cool Pokemon will fall out in an egg for 2 kilometers. But, judging by the stories of level 12-14 players, really standing and sometimes quite rare Pokémon fall out of large eggs 10 km away.

Factions and PvP in Pokemon GO

Upon reaching the fifth level, you can visit the training hall (hereinafter simply "Jim") - these are such large buildings on the map, do not miss them. In it you will be asked to choose one of three factions - blue, yellow or red. Ask your friends, especially those with whom you can obviously walk together and play Pokemon GO, which faction they have chosen. It makes sense to choose a faction that is popular with your company, because then it will be more fun to play together.

As soon as Jim captures a player of a faction, he can leave his Pokémon in it, which will guard the territory. When visiting a jim captured by players of your faction, you can leave your Pokémon in it to help the first player (if there is room) or practice by fighting the guarding Pokémon. For defeating a friendly Pokémon, you will be given experience points for the character, as well as increase Jim's reputation.

By the way, about reputation points: in fact, it is they that show Jim's defensive power. The fact is that after defeating all the Pokémon left by the players of the other faction, you will remove only a part of the reputation points. Although even a victory over at least one left Pokémon will also remove a little reputation points. And most likely, you will have to fight several battles (from two to four) in order to eventually lower your reputation to zero and make Jim neutral. The reputation of a friendly Jim can again be raised through training battles, as well as leaving more powerful Pokémon there to help the owner of the hall.

The best option for capturing Jim is to arrange a siege with your faction friends. Especially if the power of the Pokémon left in Jim is approximately equal to yours or slightly stronger. Two or three of you will quickly reduce the reputation points of the hall and you can leave your Pokémon in it.

By the way, if you managed to capture and hold Jim for 21 hours, then this will bring you a solid bonus in the form of in-game currency and stardust (the same one that is needed to increase the power of Pokémon). But, as you can imagine, it is VERY DIFFICULT to do it.

Pokemon GO battles

Well, we have come to the most important and difficult moment in such a popular game today. The Pokemon battle takes place, as we wrote above, in jims. Moreover, it can be one-on-one (in the case of training with a monster left by an ally) or a group against a group. If you attack Jim, captured by the enemy faction, you can put six of your own against their Pokémon. When you choose your attacking team, carefully study the Pokémon left in Jim and put monsters of the appropriate type against them so that you do not get a situation where you are defeated only because of the dominant type of Pokémon. Read about the types of Pokémon in the next section of the article.

Pokémon battles take place in much the same way as in other mobile games like Infinity Blade: you attack and dodge. Tap on the enemy monster to attack, swipe left and right to dodge an attack. Keep in mind that everything happens in real time and very quickly. You will often have to choose between dodging and constant attack. As soon as your Pokémon's health is depleted, it is eliminated from the game and the next monster in order from your selected group appears. At the same time, the health of the opponent's Pokemon remains at the same level (that is, if 1/40 HP remains, then it will remain on the next monster).

Each of the Pokémon has a strong attack. Moreover, it may differ for the same Pokemon, this is an absolutely random parameter. You can look at the set of attacks in your Pokémon roster. Strong attacks spend a special scale, which is located under the health bar of your Pokémon and is recruited as damage is dealt and received during the battle. To activate a strong attack, you just need to hold your finger on the opponent's Pokemon - such an attack will remove one of the cells of the special scale.

Each monster has its own type, affiliation. Birds have flying, worms have ground, and so on. Each type is better or worse at attacking other types of Pokémon. This should MUST be taken into account when compiling your sonder command to attack someone else's Jim. In order not to paint in words: just save yourself the plate below, which shows the interaction of the types of Pokémon in accordance with their types. On the left of the row are attacking Pokémon, on the right there are columns - defending Pokémon.

Our readers sent a valuable picture showing the types of Pokémon obtained from different eggs (2, 5, 10 km).

Afterword

The game has not yet been officially released in Russia, Europe (only in Germany), Asia, but millions of players are already playing it. A huge pile of news filled the pages of both gaming publications and serious ones like Bloomberg, CNN or Business Insider. Let's see if the wave of popularity will subside quickly, but at the moment the impression is as if “this train cannot be stopped”.

Mobile pokemon game Go has won the hearts of gamers around the world, forcing them to move around the neighborhood in search of Pokémon. There are many strategies for the game, but they are not immediately obvious, and then it may be too late. To get more fun out of the game, read the tips below.
  1. Move hints

Depending on where you live, the difficulty of detecting Pokémon and PokéStops (gathering places for game items) differs. In the cities there are more of them, in the suburbs and in the countryside there are fewer. Most of them are in the clusters of significant places, such as parks, memorial plaques, obelisks, theaters.

  2. World map

The map of the real terrain in the game shows the location of PokéStops, arenas and Pokémon in the vicinity of the player. The latter are displayed by rustling leaves. If you enter this area, a wild Pokemon will appear in a few minutes. You can also encounter Pokémon in any other place where there are no leaves on the map.

If pink petals are falling on the PokéStop icon, it means that someone is using the Lure Module, which increases the frequency of Pokémon spawning in that location. Stay with this PokéStop and catch Pokémon; even more of them can be caught at the intersection of the zones of influence of two pokestops with traps in each.

  3. Track Pokémon Nearby

At the bottom right of the screen is a panel showing the types of nearby Pokémon, and the number of tracks shows the approximate distance to them (the fewer the tracks, the closer). Select a specific Pokemon from the list and start moving. The number of tracks will either decrease as you approach him, or increase until he disappears from the list.

When the number of steps has dropped to zero, the Pokemon is very close! Select it from the list and wait for it to appear. When exploring the area, you will notice pulsation on the map. This means a major change in the availability of nearby Pokémon.

  4. If you need more pokeballs

If there are not enough Pokéballs to catch Pokémon, they appear in PokéStops every five minutes. You can just stand by one and wait, and not walk around all in a row.

  5. Items

The backpack has a limit for carrying items, so keep an eye on it so that the moment does not come when a valuable item drops out in the PokéStop, and there is nowhere to put it. If you don't fight much, you can throw away some of the potions and revive Pokémon. You can use Poke Coins to purchase a larger backpack. They are earned from victories in arena battles or can be purchased with real money.

  6. Catching Pokemon

When you meet a Pokémon, click on the ball (Pokeball) and hold until the inner circle is reduced to a minimum, then throw the Pokeball to hit the Pokemon. The color of the inner circle indicates the difficulty of catching the Pokémon: green, orange and red from easy to hard. Berries can lower a Pokémon's resistance. If the Pokemon breaks out of the Poké Ball, repeat the Berry Feeding.

Once a Poké Ball is thrown, it cannot be picked up. If you hit the Pokemon at the point marked with the inner circle, additional experience is given, depending on the size of the circle. 100 XP is given for an Excellent roll (when the circle is minimal), 50 XP for Great (average), 10 XP for Nice (maximum circle). You can throw a twisted ball by rotating it before throwing it with your finger, for which a bonus is also given.

Take the time to score as many points as possible; the pokemon won't run away, at least not because of time. He can escape after a certain number of times escaped from the pokeball.

  7. Trainer level increases the chances of finding rare Pokémon

It is interesting to visit new places in an attempt to find new Pokémon, but you don't have to go far to meet rare individuals. Increasing the character level increases the chances of meeting a rare Pokemon or an individual with a large number of battle points.

  8. Disable AR Mode for easier fishing

While augmented reality mode enhances the visual appeal of the game, it also makes it harder to catch Pokémon. Turning off AR puts the Pokemon in the center of the screen, making it easier to calculate the distance to throw. Turn off AR mode with the switch in the upper right corner of the Pokemon catching screen.

  9. Pokemon evolution

When a wild pokemon is caught, candy and stardust appear in the inventory along with it. Candies are different for different types Pokémon, transferring a Pokémon to Professor Willow gives you one candy of a given type of Pokémon.

Pokémon need a certain amount of candy to evolve. The amount varies, but the more you save, the better. In addition to evolution, you can increase the level of Pokémon, which gives them more strength and health. Evolution also increases these parameters.

  10. Give Pokémon of the same species

Although it's not immediately clear, catching the same Pokémon is useful. They can be given to Professor Willow and received for this candy for this type of Pokémon, which are needed for the evolution of Pokémon. Click on the Pokemon and the Transfer button. Don't sell the strongest Pokémon (the ones with the most Battle Points).

  11. How to choose the path of evolution of Pokemon Eevee

During evolution, the Eevee Pokémon can turn into a representative of one of three types: Jolteon, Flareon or Vaporeon. To choose what kind of look you will get, you need to rename the Pokemon before evolution to the following names:

    • Sparky: Jolteon
    • Pyro: Flareon
    • Rainer: Vaporeon
  12. How to get Pikachu at the start of the game

Pikachu is the most famous Pokémon, but it is extremely difficult to get it in the game. There is a trick to do this at the very beginning. Reach at the start new game up to where Professor Willow lets you catch a Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur as your starting Pokémon. Instead of catching one of them, move (really) away from their location until the apparatus vibrates and they reappear. Repeat this process several times until Pikachu appears in the starting Pokémon list.

  13. Incense use

Incense is one of the in-game items in Pokemon Go; it increases the likelihood of finding Pokémon by 30 minutes. Frankincense is usually used when you don’t want or can’t go anywhere for the Pokémon to come to you, but it works best when you are on the move. Using incense near patches of grass on the map increases the spawn rate of Pokémon.

  14. How to hatch eggs

In PokéStops, you can get Pokemon eggs. They contain a random Pokemon and more dust and candy than catching a ready-made Pokemon. The eggs are found on the second tab of the Pokémon inventory; each corresponds to the distance that must be traveled in order for it to hatch. First, you need to place the egg in the incubator by clicking the "Start Incubation" button and selecting the incubator. A reusable incubator can only contain one egg at a time, other incubators can be purchased in the store or obtained for leveling up.

If you want to speed up the process, go for a bike ride (for real). Driving a car will not help - too fast a speed (over 24 km / h) does not count.

  15. How arenas work

When you reach the fifth level, Professor Willow will tell you about the arenas (Gym) and the teams to choose from - Instinct, Mystic or Valor. When you are close to the arena, there are three options available. Either the arena is vacant (white), or it is owned by the opposing team, or your chosen team of the same color.

If you interact with your team's arena, you can train your Pokémon for experience in it, or leave them to protect the arena and get coins (Poke Coins) and dust, which can be collected every 21 hours. As for the arenas of foreign teams, they can only be attacked. If you defeat all the defending Pokémon, then take away a large number of prestige points from this arena. High level arenas with a lot of prestige points may need to be won multiple times to be yours.

  16. Free arena

If the arena is white, it is a draw and you can take it for yourself. You can choose which Pokémon will stay to guard her. It is necessary to choose the strongest so that the rivals do not recapture the arena. If the opposing team's coach defeats all of the Pokémon, the arena will go to that team. If you want to fight for other arenas, do not leave all the strongest Pokémon in your own arena.

  17. Level up arenas

Although it is interesting to attack other people's arenas, you should not get carried away too much and you need to develop your own by choosing the training option (Train). This allows you to fight the Pokémon of your allies, increases the number of points of prestige of the arena, which increases the number of Pokémon that can be left to defend the arena and reduces the likelihood of its capture by rivals. Training increases the trainer's experience, regardless of the result, if you defeat at least one Pokémon, and the losers in battles with Pokémon allies do not need to be resurrected.

  18. Store Pokémon in arenas

In addition to battles, arenas can be used to store Pokémon, they will be added to the list of arenas protecting from enemy attacks. In one arena, you can store one Pokémon, protecting up to ten arenas at the same time. In 21 hours, this will allow you to collect 10 coins and 500 dust. To receive a reward, click on the shield icon in the upper right corner of the store.

Pokémon stored in the arena are tied to this location and cannot be used or recalled until they are defeated. If defeated, he will return damaged and will require treatment.

  19. Arenas of opponents

Prepare for war. You can click on the arena and scroll through the list of Pokémon guarding it. Battles start from the weakest Pokémon in the arena to the strongest. You need to take into account the types of Pokémon - water beats fire, fire beats grass, grass beats water, etc.

To participate in a battle, you need to tap the screen to carry out basic attacks, which will fill the scale under the health scale. Different types of special movements have different scale lengths. Each Pokémon has different basic and special attacks. When the bar is full, pressing and holding the screen will allow you to perform a special attack. Swiping left or right allows you to dodge a special attack. It can be predicted by the yellowing screen and when the Pokemon "rears up", but it is better to focus on carrying out your attacks than dodging strangers.

You can attack arenas together with your team members and the defending Pokémon will take damage from all attackers at once. Group attacks will reduce the prestige points of the arena faster.

Defeating at least one defending Pokémon lowers the prestige points of the arena, which will ultimately lower its level, in which case fewer Pokémon will be able to defend it. When all defending Pokémon are eliminated, the arena will become vacant and can be occupied by the winner. Then you can place your Pokémon in the arena and train there to increase the prestige and level of the arena. If the arena is taken away from you, you can come to it and fight for it again.

  20. How to save battery power

Players will quickly notice that the Pokemon Go game is quite voracious and drains the battery. You can buy a case with an additional battery for your smartphone, and in the game you can enable the Battery Save mode in the settings. It dims the screen when the smartphone is not in use, which is useful, for example, when walking to grow eggs.

The rapidly gaining popularity all over the world, the game Pokemon Go conquers all new gamers. Earlier, TopNews wrote that the release date of the game in Russia is not yet known for sure, then it has already been downloaded by over 200 thousand Muscovites. With the growing interest in this application, users have questions about Pokemon Go. One of them is not knowing what to do with the same intkbbee pokemon.

Gamers are advised in this case to change them for candy. While such monsters cannot be sold, however, such a function may be created in the future. But candy in any case can come in handy to "pump" another Pokemon to a higher level.

In any case, fans of Pokemon Go in Russia are advised to take all Pokemon, because each of them can benefit the player.

Pokemon Go: what to do with eggs?

However, you can get a Pokemon not only by looking for it in the area. A pocket monster can be raised from an egg in an incubator, and it can be quite rare.

Eggs can be obtained from PokéStops located in certain places in the city. Having received an egg, it should be placed in an incubator, and then move around in the real world by turning on the phone.

The value of a Pokemon will directly depend on how much the player has walked with his feet. The minimum distance is 2.5 to 10 km, and this distance cannot be covered by car or bicycle.
