There are never too many pretty girls. Especially if they are ready to accompany you to all the mountains and valleys, carry your items, entertain with conversations and generally revive the landscape before a new battle. Meet Villa, your new companion.

Vilja in Skyrim overview

The modification adds another companion to the game - a human girl named Villa, decisive, brave, a little inconsistent, but very sweet. Her life before meeting you resembles the plot of a comic book - having inherited a mysterious message from her grandmother, she went to the northern lands of Skyrim for an explanation of what, in fact, is written in this message. She could neither find someone who would help her, nor save the message - someone stole it. And she sits, sad, in the tavern of Whiterun, waiting for the one who will share with her all the hardships of her search.

That is, of course, the story in practice turns out to be not so simple at all - the quests of the storyline of this mod will help you to escape from the main tasks for a while and keep the company of a beautiful young lady. In addition, along with her, several side NPCs are added to the game, which will make your life with her even more interesting.

Villa's character is fully voiced, she regularly shares with you her thoughts on current events and perception of the outside world. To the beginning playing together She's not the best fighting companion, but her stats improve over time. In total, the developers have prepared about five thousand dialogues and several large-scale plot lines, including the traditional love affair. The attitude of your blonde companion towards your character can be determined by her phrases and general behavior.

If you start to get annoyed by her twittering, you can tune the mod so that she speaks less or does not speak at all. If she is lost somewhere, she can be summoned with a spell or simply removed beyond the line of sight - she will appear herself.
Villa's inventory is divided into two parts: one contains things that she wears, including a cute nightgown if you sleep at home, the other contains things that you gave her for storage and which she does not use. In addition, you can give her items for sale by placing them in a special section of the storage inventory.

Do not run the mod in the save, where you are inside the "Prancing Mare" tavern in Whiterun - this may cause disturbances in its work.
Disable all cosmetic changes to characters when you first enter - you will need to first meet with Villa in the tavern and wait for the mod to update. Otherwise, you will not have access to her inventory.

Villa - from Swedish means "Willpower".
Villa has such Swedish features as will, courage, determination. And there is a lot of that in her!

Having inherited a mysterious bottle from her grandmother, a young girl from Solstheim decides to travel to Skyrim to find out the truth about the message. But it didn't turn out as Villa planned. After wandering around hostile Skyrim with the horse Bruce, she never found a person who could help her, and even someone stole the bottle! Villa may be brave, but she needs help!

You find Vilya at the Prancing Mare Tavern in Whiterun. Will you agree to help her? Will you let me travel with you? Will you decide to help her mission? Over time, you will learn other secret reasons for her arrival in Skyrim. If you let her travel with you, then her quests will flow into the game for a long time, and you can learn a lot of interesting things from the fully voiced side characters.

Villa is a companion with quests, not a companion quest. What is the difference, you ask? You won't feel compelled to do Villa's assignments instead of your own. They will become a natural, integral part of your life in Skyrim, for a long time.

Villa is not the best warrior(otherwise why would she need you?) or an archer. When it comes to magic, she only has teleportation and healing in her arsenal, but over time this will change and she will become more effective.
But Vilya has many other features, she will definitely change your lonely life in Skyrim with her talkativeness, curiosity and unpredictability.

There are several quest lines available, unique opportunities and about 5,000 dialogue lines, Villa will entertain you for many, many hours of play with her conversations. Her dialogues and features have evolved over time in such a way that even the developers cannot track the progress of her actions. There are many hidden surprises in her dialogues and the developers ask you to try all the options, you will not be disappointed. It's just short description, but one thing can be said that it is very different from ordinary companions and today there is hardly anything like it.

Peculiarities:

With several quest lines available (including a romance and a wedding), unique abilities and about 5,000 voiced dialogues, Villa will captivate you seriously and for a long time. Many surprises await you in communication with her. There are so many dialogues and other features that even developers cannot remember all of them right away. This is just a brief description of Villa's merits and how it differs from the rest of the companions.

About 5,000 fully voiced dialogues. Villa is very sociable by default, but if it tires you, you can easily adjust the settings so that Villa talks less or is completely silent. She will not be offended.
Improved companion behavior system. If Villa, following you, suddenly gets stuck or just gets lost, then it's okay, just turn away and move on, she will immediately appear right next to you. Vilyu can also be summoned with a spell.

By default, Villa follows you in normal satellite mode, but through the dialogue you can turn on the sandbox option (that is, Villa will interact with the environment during stops, like Serana, for example).

Relationship system. Villa's attitude towards you will change over time, it will depend on your actions. If Villa gets angry with you, then you will notice it by the changed remarks and her behavior in general.
Of course, you can change relationships in better side... For example, if you give Villiers a sweet roll or a drink. You can also improve the relationship with a gift or giving a compliment. By the way, Villa wants to become a bard and will be very glad if you show interest in her musical endeavors.

Inventory system. You can ask Vilya to wear armor or clothing, ask to wear or not wear raincoats, jewelry and other equipment. If Villa wears clothes, then in battle she will automatically change into armor (if she has armor and you did not tell her to fight in clothes). You can choose whether Villa will undress while swimming. She also has a nightgown, which she, being at home, wears before going to bed. There are two additional bags in which the items remain completely intact (Villa will not use them). You can ask Vilya to sell something, for this there is an inventory for sale. You can also store your belongings in the saddlebags of her horse, Bruce. The main thing is that Bruce is there.

Detailed combat instructions. Will Villa take part in the battles or will she stay away from them? Which type of weapon would you prefer - melee or ranged? Villa is ready to heed your advice. In the future, Villa will learn magic, and you can choose which spells she should use. After completing the first part of her quest, you will receive three commands (activated by the shout key), with which you can give quick orders during the battle: Villa, attack !; Villa, stop the fight !; Villa, stop fighting and follow me!

Customizable features. In the dialogue thread "Traveling Together" you can customize Vilya's wardrobe, her behavior and habits (including talkativeness), the presence of immortality, etc.

Treatment. At first, Villa will only be able to heal herself, but over time she will learn to heal you too.

Sparring. Looking to hone your fighting skills? Villa will be happy to be your opponent in a friendly match.

Craft. Unlike regular companions, Villa is capable of crafting various items using tools! If she has the right materials, of course. And she uses some tools differently than you do. Here is a list of what she can do:

Bowler: Villa will cook a variety of foods, depending on the ingredients in her inventory.

Alchemy laboratory: Villa will brew potions, depending on the ingredients in her inventory.

Pentagram of Souls: Alas, Villa doesn't know how to handle her.

Forge: Villa can use the forge to make lockpicks. You need at least one iron ingot.

Workbench: Villa can use the workbench to feather the arrows. To do this, she will need ten logs and an ingot (iron, steel, silver, or Dwemer).

Tanning machine: With the help of the tanning machine, Villa can make leather (if hides are available). If Vilya has no skins, but has skin, she will cut them into strips.

Grindstone: Villa doesn't know how to use a grindstone.
Smelter: Like you, Villa can smelt metals, just give her ore.
Chopping block: Like other companions, Villa can chop wood.

Villa can make some items literally on the go, without tools.

Simple potions. If you have at least ONE required ingredient, Villa will make a simple potion: health, restore magic, restore strength, heal diseases.

Cooking. With the right ingredients, Villa will quickly prepare something to eat.

Torches. The torch requires only a piece of wood and linen.

Horses and horseback fighting. It is obvious that Villa is an outstanding companion. She has her summon horse, Bruce, which she saddles every time you ride. Villa can ride on horseback if you select the appropriate dialogue line, even if you are walking. If you fight on horseback, Villa will follow your lead.

Lead us! Villa will not always follow you, the reverse alignment is also possible - YOU will follow HER. Yes, you can become Villa's companion. She herself can suggest it, or you ask. Villa can show you places you've never been to! Agree, this is a huge plus for role play- The companion takes on the duties of a guide, and not only follows you in five steps. Initially, this feature was introduced in "Villa in Oblivion", and safely migrated to Skyrim.

Group leader. You can ask other companions to follow Villa instead of you. The presence of this function allows you to better plan a strategy for passing the dungeons. By sending Vilya to wait in the selected location or just taking a walk, the tethered companion will keep her company.

Chatter about assignments. Villa understands what is happening around her and expresses her thoughts about your assignments. This function will be improved (by this moment Villa is slightly indifferent to what is happening in the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood)

Chatter about places. Villa always has an opinion about the places you visit. Often you don't have to ask him - she will say it herself. Vilya's thoughts on the current location can also be found using the corresponding thread of the dialogue.

Interaction with other satellites. Villa interacts with standard satellites to varying degrees. We advise you to take Lydia, Ayla, J'zargo, Jenassa, Farkas or Argis into the company. You will notice not only how Villa addresses them, but also how the companions respond to her. Sometimes it comes to lengthy discussions. A similar but more mediocre interaction is seen with Iona, Ria, Benor, Stenwar, Athar, Illya, Utgerd, Adelaise and Anneke Rock Climber, as well as Karjo, Jenassa, Arania and any non-standard companion using the following voices: FemaleCommander, FemaleDarkElf, FemaleEventoned. MaleBruteand MaleKhajiit. With other popular companions, Villa has a simple interaction, i.e. she sees their presence and says something, but they do not answer (Mjoll, Eric the Terrible Assassin, Calder). Interoperability with other satellites, possibly non-standard, will be added in the future.

Home furnishings. You can tell Villiers where her home will be. While at home and in free movement mode, she will operate according to a schedule that includes: cooking, cleaning, music, reading books, dialogues with other companions, and walks (even to the tavern). Villa will have a special dialogue while she is at home.
Setting up a camp. Villa can build a fire and pitch a tent. Fully compatible with Frostfall.

Collection and cleaning. Villa is ready to help you collect various subjects- arrows, weapons and, of course, ingredients. Villa will pick up the broom if you ask her to "clean up the mess."

Spells. At first, Villa can only perform simple healing and teleportation magic. As she progresses through her quest, she will learn a number of other spells. There will be nothing special among them, for Villa is not supposed to be a good spellcaster. Through dialogue, you can choose which spells she should use. Once Villa learns the basic spells in the main quest, you can continue to teach her magic by giving the appropriate spell tomes. (not all spells are available for training).

Purchases. You can ask Vilya to make purchases by specifying what exactly to buy. The choice can be left to Villa - this is a good way to improve the attitude, but be prepared to receive what you absolutely do not need. Vilya has a special bag for things to sell, the income depends on the eloquence skill. Sometimes Villa goes shopping without your request (but will warn you).

Skills summary. Through dialogue, you can learn how Villa's skills develop. The summary will also show you how Villa feels about you.

Games. Villa is still a kid and loves to play games. You can play tag with her to some place, stone-paper-scissors, or arrange a friendly duel.

Music. Villa dreams of becoming a bard and is always happy to play you. At first, only a drum is available to her, but upon completion of some tasks, a flute and a lute will appear. KindaInappropriate (lute) and Bosa123 (flute) for writing music for Villa.

Game for the audience. Once you complete some of Villa's quests, she can entertain some tavern-goers with music and even make money from it! It's up to you to decide if Villiers should have such performances.

Role functions. In order to please fans of role-playing games, there are many functions that are insignificant at first glance. For example, you can buy Villiers a drink at a tavern, thank him for his help, give something, make a compliment. If you have an affair with Villa, you can once again remind how you love her. Villa may suddenly ask your opinion on some serious question, the answer to which you can choose depending on your personality (or just give an answer that will surely please Vilha). In version 2.0 you will also be able to reply to the remark just said (item in the main menu).

Vulgar Solstheim tradition. Those who are familiar with the Oblivion Villa, most likely, grinned and guessed what it was about ... For the rest, we advise you to head to one of the taverns, buy Villa something to drink and give it through a special dialogue thread that is displayed only inside taverns. With a little booze, Villa will show you what Solstheim's people do when drunk.

Romance and marriage.- Romance and wedding. Villa has a negative attitude towards the wedding custom with Mary's amulet. For our heroine, love, first of all, is friendship and trust. You will have a chance to develop a relationship with Villa, but first get to know her better and help her complete the mission in Skyrim. Perhaps you will even get married, then at the wedding party you will meet the Villa's family.
Upon completing the first part of Villa's quest, you will be presented with a dialogue thread allowing you to choose whether Villa is your old lost friend or mistress. If you choose this option, Villa's backstory and some aspects will change accordingly.

Bugs and Compatibility:
Do not load the entry with this mod if your GG is already in the "Prancing Mare" tavern. This may interfere with the mod's work!

Use the most latest version games. Depending on how outdated the version of the game is, then all the scripts, models, textures and sounds of this mod may work incorrectly (for example: Villa will be naked, then bald, not mobile, or not at all in the game.).

Possible conflicts:

Villa is one of the best mods that add new companions to the world of Skyrim. After the improvements, the current version for the special edition of the game also appeared.

Features of the Villa mod in Skyrim

If you are a longtime fan of the TES series, then you probably met this partner back in Oblivion, but her great-great-granddaughter is in Skyrim! And she has retained many of her cousin's traits, from beautiful looks to huge innovations in gameplay with partners. The list of possibilities is damn huge, we will describe some below, while others are more pleasant to encounter without knowing them in advance.

At the moment, the modification has been translated into Russian, but the voice acting remains in English. However, this is not such a big minus, the original voice acting turned out to be of very high quality.

  • A wide range of new missions with a large number of voiced side characters.
  • Villa is a unique companion, not a box for things, she has her own vision of most situations and will not go into her pocket for a word if she doesn't like something.
  • At the very beginning, the partner will not be able to make a huge contribution to the battles, but over time, her combat skills will grow, as well as the influence on the outcome of the battle with the enemy.
  • The general mechanics of companions have been improved, for example, Villa will not be able to get corny in the textures, if she is stuck somewhere, just turn away and continue on your way, after a while she will appear next to you.
  • She has character. Villa is curious, unpredictable and more than once will delight the player with her phrases and actions.
  • Sophisticated partner's inventory system, which is much better than in the original.
  • Villiers can be given detailed instructions on how to proceed in battle.
  • A new companion is being sorted out in crafting, if any necessary components Villa can do a variety of things, from a whetstone to delicious food.

Villa is a truly outstanding companion, you will immediately see it, it is not for nothing that the modification is considered the best in its field. Amazing detail, new gameplay elements, thousands of voiced lines and much more - all this diversifies the world of Skyrim much better than other similar modifications, such as weapons, etc.

Installing the Villa mod in Skyrim

  • Open the downloaded archive and copy the contents of the 01_Data directory to Skyrim \ data, after which we connect the mod in the mod menu in the game, or using the manager.
  • Patches are optionally available to support SG bodies as well as CBBE.
  • You can also install fixes, the first one fixes dialogues with children from Hearthfire add-ons and the second fixes wardrobe problems. You need to install these fixes if problems arise.

You can find a new partner in Whiterun, in the Prancing Mare.
