Japanese dandy games

In order not to cause controversy about which of the games is better, we have arranged them in alphabetical order. ;) For those who are already wiping away a tear of affection and looking for ways to launch their favorite games, we have the corresponding instructions in store - iOS, OS X.

A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia

A classic platformer about a boy and his accompanying drop-snowman, who together try to save the planet Blobolonia from an evil dictator. Combines platforming and puzzle gameplay. The drop has various properties to aid in passing. Various particles are used to activate them, which are scattered throughout each level. With their help, you can make a ladder, a parachute and much more from a drop.

Adventure island ii

The first part of this platformer was not particularly original. The second has become more diverse in terms of gameplay, but in principle, everything has remained in place - playing as a pink-cheeked fat man, you fight as bad guys to save your girlfriend. Along the way, you ride dinosaurs with different abilities and eat huge amounts of fruit.

Batman: The Video Game

A worthy embodiment of the Batman story based on the 1989 film. Gotham is overflowing with all sorts of trash and the Dark Knight has to go out into the streets of the city and clean them up. Batman is great at hand-to-hand combat, but he also has a limited supply of special weapons - a pistol, discs and boomerangs. Batman can also climb up, clinging to walls, like the hero of Ninja Gaiden, Ryu. The game is notable for its high difficulty, not inferior to the above-mentioned Ninja Gaiden.

Battletoads

Classic, just classic! One of the most graphically advanced games on the platform, it combines, in addition to arcade gameplay, high-speed motorcycle racing, flying and much more. The toad-fighter Rush, for whom you play, rescues his friend Pimple and his girlfriend Princess Angelica in the story. The complexity, of course, goes off scale and cooperative passage does not really save the situation.

Bionic commando

One of the first platformers to break away from the tried-and-true run-and-jump formula. Oddly enough, there is no jump in the game - instead, you will move around the level with the help of a biomechanical arm - a device that allows you to cling to platforms and swing to move. Also in the game there are various types of weapons to deal with enemies.

Blaster Master

A stunning platformer with elements of a top-down shooter. According to the plot, following his frog Fred, the main character looked into a hole in the backyard and ended up in an underground labyrinth teeming with radioactive mutants. Fortunately, he manages to find an armored SOPHIA all-terrain vehicle, which can be relatively safe to move around, since it is equipped with a powerful blaster (you ride it around the main locations). The game has very difficult bosses, with which you will fight already in pilot mode, but after defeating them you will receive upgrades for the all-terrain vehicle.

Bubble bobble

A puzzle platformer and simple yet deadly addicting game. The two dragons Bub and Bob deal with various monsters by placing them in bubbles. You can play together to travel through intricate labyrinths was more fun, although alone you are unlikely to get bored.

Castlevania

A masterpiece saga about the vampire hunter Simon Belmonte, wielding a whip no worse than Indiana Jones. The fight, however, will not have to be with the Nazis, but with Dracula and his offspring themselves. In addition to the whip, you will have various additional weapons: axes, boomerangs, knives, holy water - each with its own characteristics. Despite the fact that Castlevania was released at the dawn of the NES era, it pleases with an atmospheric soundtrack and great graphics. You will enjoy them to the fullest, since the game is quite difficult to complete.

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest

After the successful first part, the developers somewhat deviated from the usual concept of side-scrolling and Simon Quest is already more like an RPG. Belmont travels around Transylvania, collecting Dracula particles needed to break the curse. The game has inventory, various subjects, a system of upgrades and even a change of day and night. The ending depends on your actions, and in particular, the time spent on the passage, of which there are several in the game. Only by doing everything right can you get the best of them.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse

For Castlevania's third (and final NES) installment, Konami took the best of two games: atmospheric soundtrack and side-scrolling mechanics from the first part, and non-linear gameplay with multiple endings from the second. The result is the masterpiece of the Castlevania series on the NES. Events unfold after a couple of centuries and the main character of the game is a descendant of the Belmont dynasty - Trevor. In the course of his wanderings, he meets three more fighters against evil spirits, who are also playable (you can take one of them with you). This part of the series is no less difficult than the previous ones, but this does not spoil it in the least.

Contra

A great, timeless shooter for all time. It is with him that many people associate Dandy. The 80s was the era when the movie cliches of muscle tough guys with big guns were exploited in games. In Contra, we play as two of these guys fighting the Red Falcon terrorist organization. You have a bunch of weapons at your disposal, with which you will have to storm levels and bosses filled with numerous enemies.

Crystalis

An excellent RPG, very similar in mechanics and gameplay to Legend of Zelda, but different in details. Against the background of others, more famous, role-playing games with the NES, Crystalis stands out for its elaborate storyline revolving around an insane fusion of science fiction and fantasy. Nintendo later bought the original rights to the game from SNK and ported it to the Game Boy Color 10 years later.

Double Dragon II: The Revenge

When the first part of Double Dragon was ported to the NES, the developers missed one very important detail, how air is needed. successful games beat'em up - cooperative mode passing. In the second part, this flaw was corrected and it became another masterpiece of the classic era of video games. Billy and Jimmy Lee, twin dragons take revenge on members of a criminal gang for the death of their beloved Billy. In the second part, new super attacks were added, but the difficulty also became higher - new types of enemies were added. Between the levels, there are plot inserts, and after the final boss, beautiful credits.

Dragon warrior

One of the first RPGs for the NES, along with Final Fantasy, in which you can improve a number of player characteristics. The plot is classic, you are a valiant knight, the kingdom is in danger, the princess is in the hands of an evil dragon. Despite such banalities, the game pleases with its depth, hours of gameplay and soundtrack.

Duck hunt

A killer game that gained popularity due to the fact that it was often included in various "multi-games". It had pointless and repetitive gameplay that felt like Angry Birds. The fact that you fired with a light pistol added a highlight to the monotonous shooting of ducks. Also, the game was "pulled" by the impudent dog, which mocked your failures, and which you wanted to shoot (it's a pity it was impossible). Of all the pistol games, Duck Hunt was the most popular.

Duck tales

Games based on popular cartoons and movies are obviously doomed to success, because they will be bought only in order to prolong the joy of communication with your favorite characters. Duck Tales, based on the popular '80s animated series, Duck Tales, was both simple and fun. As Uncle Scrooge, you have traveled through different levels (non-linear gameplay!) In an attempt to collect all the treasures of the world. Yes, this is a common platformer, but what a!

Excitebike

One of 18 titles available at the time of the release of the NES was nothing short of delight. Reckless motorcycle racing on tracks with crazy obstacles and the same rivals. In addition to slipping through mud and overtaking opponents, you also needed to monitor the temperature of the engine so as not to overheat it. When all the tracks were completed, you could have fun creating your own in the editor. Masterpiece!

Faxanadu

Faxanadu didn't generate much interest at the time of its release, but that didn't stop it from becoming a cult classic. The game is a story-driven offshoot of the popular RPG Dragon Slayer series. She was not the height of creativity and innovation, but she had a big map. world world tree containing all villages and castles. Faxanadu differed from the rest of the games of that time in graphics, or rather in the color scheme - instead of colorful colors, there were muted and gothic earthy tones. In terms of game mechanics, it can be compared with the second part of Zelda and the Castlevania series.

Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy did more for the RPG genre than GoldenEye 007 would later do for FPS shooters. The game took all the best from its counterparts like Dragon Warrior, and significantly improved many of their elements, such as random battles and the world map. Character classes have been added, which will be a must in future games. Later, the original Final Fantasy spawned a series of games on a wide variety of consoles that continue to this day.

Ghosts' N Goblins

The game has incredible complexity and is so full of various monsters that many players were even afraid to start playing it or gave up this venture after a couple of attempts. The complexity is really off scale - evil spirits in the face of zombies, ghouls and skeletons rushing at you from all sides, and you die from just two of their blows. At the same time, there are simply no safe places in the game, at any point on the screen at any time a monster can jump out and kill you. Oh yes, if you still have enough courage and perseverance to reach the final boss and kill him - take a little more air and sit down - to complete the game you will have to go through again!

Gradius

Awesome space side scrolling shooter from Konami. The game features an advanced power-up system that allowed you to choose your own path of improvement, corresponding to your passing style (defensively or violently). Starting as a tiny, weak ship, gradually you transform it into a perfect war machine, capable of withstanding countless enemies and huge bosses at the end of each level.

Jackal

The game was released three years after the popular action movie "Rambo: First Blood" and its plot was also tied to the rescue of prisoners of war. Unlike Stallone with his huge arsenal of weapons and explosive arrows, the player had a jeep with a heavy machine gun and rocket launcher at his disposal. On it you burst into enemy territory, clear your way and find a building with hostages. Having released them, you sit down in your jeep and take them to the point from where the helicopter should pick them up. The game is quite difficult and, unlike Rambo, who works alone, you will be much more successful in dealing with the enemy together with your partner.

Kid Icarus

Kid Icarus came out at the same time as Metroid and, while the latter was a hit, spawning a bunch of sequels and spinoffs, Kid Icarus quietly took its place on the shelves of classics. This platformer was quite difficult due to the endless movement of the screen after the slightest jump and caused difficulties in calculating the landing point. Also complicating the process was that most of the moving platforms were extremely narrow and very difficult to get on. Icarus flew too high and fell to the ground, scorched by the sun, however, his flight seems like an easy walk compared to this game.

Kirby's Adventure

This addicting platformer about a super-kolobok can be considered the swan song of the NES, which was discontinued a couple of years after the release of Kirby's Adventure. The roots of Kirby go back to the Game Boy, where the protagonist also runs, jumps, absorbs enemies and their abilities across all seven worlds of Dreamland. The game has simply amazing graphics for those times (and the capabilities of the console) with smooth animation and effects. It was the first, but far from the last, full color Kirby game.

Klax

“This is the 90s and this is the time to play Klax,” the developers tell us from the main crane. It really is, the 90s were best years for games with "Tetris-like" gameplay and none of them resembles Tetris as much as Klax. Game mechanics here is simple, but this is the beauty of such games and from this Klax is even more exciting. We collect the falling colored blocks from the conveyor and arrange them in stacks to prevent filling.

Kung fu

Monotonous and uncomplicated fun, so similar in this regard to Duck Hunt. The game originates from the old arcade title Kung-Fu Master, which was later ported to many consoles, including the NES. However, along with the loss of the word Master in the title, the game also lost some of the gameplay. Five "corridor" levels are waiting for you, through which you must pass, weaving slaps to the left and to the right. After completing all of them, you will receive the same levels, only with a higher difficulty. Nevertheless, it became a classic thanks to the early beat'em up elements and the popular genre of martial arts at that time.

Life force

After the runaway success of Gradius, a sequel was inevitable. It was a spin-off of the original version called Salamander, like it was, released on arcade machines and later ported to consoles. On the NES, the game, in turn, received a different name - Life Force. You again enter the cockpit of the spaceship from original game and fly inside a giant organism, shooting off hostile clots of biomass, and sometimes even breaking through it. There are vertical and horizontal levels here, which diversifies the gameplay. Various bonuses and companions with different abilities also help a lot.

Megaman

Megapopular title from Capcom. A valiant robot with super powers cleans the world of other robots with more evil intentions. The game is simply masterpiece - stunning graphics, non-linear gameplay and new abilities obtained after defeating bosses. They will then help you deal with ordinary enemies, and with other bosses, which are quite interesting in the game.

Mega man 2

The ideological continuation of the first part, thanks to which the series gained popularity. The game has become noticeably prettier both in terms of graphics and in terms of gameplay; the soundtrack, which can rightfully be considered one of the best in the series, should be noted separately. Our hero received new weapons and abilities, as well as the ability to replenish energy, which, coupled with the password system, made the game not as hardcore as the first part.

Metal gear

Even such large-scale and ambitious series as Metal gear, had to start somewhere and it is from this game (which is actually a port of the original) that the popular franchise originates. Playing as the hardened Special Forces soldier Solid Snake, you must infiltrate enemy territory and destroy the super-secret Metal Gear weapon. As in the subsequent parts of the series, it was necessary to avoid direct contact with patrols and guards, so as not to attract attention and not provoke a real meat grinder.

Metroid

My favorite beat'em up on the NES! The game has a unique charm and is able to fall in love at first sight, even on a black and white TV. The plot of the plot is erased to holes - evil guys kidnap a beautiful girl and a team of brave guys need to rescue her from the clutches of bandits. You have three colorful fighters at your disposal, one of whom is the father of the kidnapped girl. We choose anyone according to taste and characteristics and enter into an unequal battle. The game is primarily interesting for the cool power-up system (powerful special moves are opened at high levels), excellent graphics and catchy music, as well as various endings that make the game replayable.

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out !!

Before biting off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear, Mike Tyson managed to earn many titles and ... become the hero of a video game about big boxing, revealing him in all its glory. You start a career as a young, unknown boxer and, defeating opponents, move towards your dream of becoming a champion (the final boss here is Tyson himself). Fight, use tactics, adapt to different fighters and you will definitely win!

Ninja gaiden

The first part of the cult series of games on the popular ninja theme in the 80s. The game boasts a completely cinematic plot of the plot: a young warrior Ryu Hayabutsa arrived in America to find out the details of the disappearance of his father, but unknown people immediately attack him and he has to go through a series of incredible events. Ryu is excellent with the family sword, and also skillfully throws shurikens and other special weapons that come in handy on bosses. Despite the high difficulty - the plot and addictive gameplay will force you not to quit the game and go through it to the end.

Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword Of Chaos

The continuation of the original part, which did not take long to wait, in which Ryu's new enemy appears - Emperor Ashar, who kidnapped his beloved and makes plans for world domination. The game has been significantly improved in terms of graphics and new features for Ryu, allowing him not only to push off walls, but also to climb them. Shadow companions have also appeared, ninja helping you in battles. Otherwise, it's the same original, with hardcore difficulty and addicting gameplay.

Paperboy

Like many other NES titles, Paperboy has its origins in arcade games from Atari. But the game gained fame, thanks to the fact that it was developed exclusively in the United States. You drove a teenager who delivered newspapers to the residents of the street on his bike. The gameplay was complicated by the presence of houses, the inhabitants of which were not subscribers, disturbing pedestrians, and also hostile dogs. What's more, newspapers used to run out. The graphics, as with all early NES games, were fairly modest, but the players didn't complain.

R.B.I. Baseball

Baseball games have existed before, but R.B.I. Baseball was the first game to be licensed by Major League Baseball, which gave it the right to use the names of famous athletes and bring the game to new level realism. Player characteristics matched those of real players, giving the impression of even greater authenticity.

R.C. Pro-Am

These vintage races are the ancestor of all isometric races, especially Mario Kart. All these turbo boosts, bonuses and obstacles came from here. You must win the circuit races by driving one of the four cars participating in the race. On your way, you will meet both obstacles and prizes. The latter can be used for car upgrades in order to gain an advantage over rivals.

Rampage

A masterpiece of arcade monster classics where you play on the evil side. Controlling a giant gorilla, reptile or werewolf, you must destroy all buildings in the city and repel the attacks of the military who are trying to stop you. Can be played together, creating even more destruction. In almost the same form, the game came to the NES, almost without losing anything in graphics and gameplay, except that one of the monsters, a werewolf, was removed.

River City Ransom

River City Ransom is somewhat similar to Super mario Bros., its protagonists resemble Mario and Luigi, who were born somewhere in the backyard of the Mushroom Kingdom. The main characters Alex and Ryan also save the beloved of one of them, joining in the fight against evil. Non-linear gameplay involves a lot of fights, both hand-to-hand and with the help of improvised means that fall from the defeated villains. In battle, friends learn new techniques and techniques in order to defeat bosses and reach their final goal - the beautiful Cindy.

Spy hunter

In this game you can feel like a real spy (to match James Bond), driving around in a luxurious car stuffed with various gadgets. On the high-speed highway, various cars and motorcycles of bandits are trying to settle scores with you. This action was complicated by road junctions, helicopters and opponents armed with machine guns and artillery.

Super Mario Bros.

None of the top lists are complete without this title - the legendary plumber is still in the ranks, Nintendo has created a huge series of games about the platform star, as well as his friends. Everything is outrageously simple - the princess has been kidnapped, evil walks around the Mushroom Kingdom with impunity, and even taunts you. We have no choice but to roll up our sleeves and go into battle with beetles, turtles, carnivorous flowers and other evil spirits.

Super Mario Bros. 2

The resounding success of Super Mario Bros. left a void in the hearts of gamers around the world that only Nintendo could fill. And she did it, giving us the continuation of Mario's adventures, noticeably prettier in terms of graphics and gameplay. Now the player could choose one of four characters, each of which has its own abilities. Enemies can be picked up and thrown directly at other enemies, in the same way, turnips pulled out of the ground are thrown around, in which various bonuses are sometimes found. The game has become much more difficult and interesting.

Super Mario Bros. 3

Excellent proof that despite great success previous parts series, the developers still have something to surprise the players. The game has become bigger, brighter and better than the first two parts - you will have a bunch of prizes, huge levels, costumes for obtaining various abilities and much more. The graphics are great, the gameplay is still fun - one of the best games on the NES platform.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game

The Turtles came to the NES from arcade machines. The console version didn't have such cool graphics, but! A coupon for the purchase of pizza was carefully included with each game. Based on the original cartoon and presented in the beat'em up genre, not a platform game, the game delighted with the gameplay and the opportunity to play as one of your favorite characters. TNMT II has a sea of cartoon villains and bosses, although some were invented by the developers specifically for this game. As before, there is no better time for a Friday night than playing TNMT II with friends.

Tetris

An incredibly simple and at the same time terribly addictive puzzle, the idea of which was invented by our compatriot Alexei Pajitnov. Gamers of all platforms and ages know and love it. She certainly deserves a place on this list.

The goonies ii

Continuation of the classic adventure adventure. The game has non-linear gameplay and you can move into different worlds filled with their own environment, enemies and puzzles through special doors and stairs. This unique combination of gameplay and the ability to explore the world has won the hearts of many gamers.

Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda developers must have been very proud of their creation. Just imagine, the American version of the cartridge was made of gold plastic, as if hinting to the players that mountains of treasures await them and the game itself is also nothing more than a treasure. Players have explored the cult world of Hyrule to punish the eternal villain Ganon and rescue Princess Zelda. You had as many as nine dungeons inhabited by monsters, in which you had to sweat a lot. In addition, this game was the first title for home consoles to have a built-in battery for storing saves.

Vice: Project Doom

A stunning detective thriller that combines elements of a variety of genres. Events unfold around a secret corporation and the strongest drug that is in great demand on the black market - you will learn about all this from the cinematic plot inserts between the levels. There is really a lot of mixing in the game, here there are platforming elements that are not inferior in complexity to Ninja Gaiden, and racing races in the spirit of Spy Hunter, and elements of shooters. The developers apparently relied on this and, of course, did not lose.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

After the incredible success of the first part of Link's adventures, the developers decided to create a sequel in no way inferior to the original. Completely overhauling the gameplay, they released a game that combines side-scrolling and RPG elements. The player's task is still the same - to save Princess Zelda, now she needs to be awakened from the sleep spell. Many elements of the game migrated to future sequels (main NPCs, Dark Link, mana scale), and many of the first part, on the contrary, were lost, offering players a mixture of genres and innovative ideas for which the series is so loved.

What are your favorite NES games, dear readers? Which of them do you associate your childhood with and do you play them now? Let us know in the comments, it will be interesting for me to listen! By the way, we also have the top of the best Game Boy games.

IN different time, collections of Dandy games (NES), enjoyed superior popularity in comparison with single-game cartridges or ROMs. Beginning in the 90s, players tried to be the first to come to the local outlet, before bringing in Chinese products, which often included multi-games with various games on the board. Inexperienced people, bought 9999 in 1 cartridges, attracted huge amount the games indicated on the sticker of the cartridge, but coming home and inserting the collection into the console, their excitement quickly faded away when it came to the realization that there were only 10 games for the place of 9999 games on the cartridge, and the remaining 9989 are repetitions of the first ten, divided into intermediate levels or simply, minor hacks of the original versions. Subsequent porting of games to computers, with the aim of playing on emulators in the late 90s, required a more detailed approach to portable images of games. Subsequently, the players appreciated only original versions untouched by pirates, without cutting out intros or converting graphics. And they can be understood, because players, tired of pirated products, which were at every outlet, tried to familiarize themselves with the original source, which was not available due to the high price. But later, the transition to computers (dump) of cartridges changed the situation with the original and pirated assemblies, allowing groups of enthusiasts to translate single or multi-game ROMs into Russian, thereby opening storylines and even the ability to understand the actions taken in complex RPGs.

Genre: platformer

The oldest toy for Dandy, but it's still interesting to play it! The mustachioed Mario goes to save his princess, who was captured by the dragon, collects coins on the way. He is opposed by walking mushrooms, flying turtles, man-eating flowers. Enemies are killed by jumping from above. But Mario is not so hopeless. Taking the prize, he can grow up and learn to shoot. To get bonus coins, you can try to climb into one of the pipes. The game, in principle, has a 2-player mode, but you can only play in turns. The graphics are good, the sound is simple, but this is not the main thing in this game!

Before us is a game that leaves no one indifferent. She is known to many as "Tanchiki". I fell in love with the game for its simplicity and fun. You control a small tank, the main task of which is to kill enemy vehicles before they reach your headquarters. There was also a place for the manifestation of imagination - the authors give the opportunity to create levels themselves. You can play together. There are various improvements, the most interesting of which make it possible to transform into a more powerful piece of armored vehicles. Also in this set of ROMs there is a Chinese hack - Tank 1990, with the ability to "mow the grass", new bonuses and more.

This project is a merger of two excellent games (Battletoads and Double Dragon respectively). The result is an explosive cocktail that has absorbed the best and eliminated the worst. Here you can choose one of five familiar players. Great gameplay is head-blowing. This game is not so much pleasant as it is interesting to play. She keeps any gamer near her for a long time. What the main characters cannot do (climb stairs, climb along cliffs, climb lattice performances in the walls). During the battles, you can use a variety of weapons, which are enough here. The speed of the game has a sweet spot and turns the gamer on like a toy car. Game world very nicely executed, thus showing the strengths of the NES. The levels are striking in their originality. The player models are very well made. In addition to the heroes we know, you can also see here at least known enemies that were found in the games Battletoads and Double Dragon. In general, the game is bright and exciting. It has clearly left a fat footprint among the best NES games.

Chip "n Dale Rescue Rangers

Genre: platformer

Chip, Dale and their friends are back in business! Of all the toys made by Kapkom for Disney, this one is perhaps the closest to the original animated series. Here we will fight with the robotic dogs of Professor Nimnul, drive away aliens mimicking chipmunks, give a brazen fighting fish under the gills, visit the factory of Fat Cat's cat - everything, like in different episodes of the cartoon. We control Chip or Dale, and when playing for two - both at once. Rodents deal with enemies, throwing at them all sorts of improvised objects that lie in abundance on the levels. Friends-rescuers help from time to time: Rocky breaks the wall, Zipper hits enemies, and Gadget, kidnapped by Fat Cat, gives valuable advice. In two-player mode, the deceased chipmunk flies in a balloon for a while, which makes the game even more fun.

Genre: run "n" gun

It's hard to find a game that came to the NES with slot machines and in splendor it was not inferior to the original. Timeless, beloved by all, Contra is just a unique case. Сontra is a run and gun game where we have to move through the levels and shoot the enemy. You can play alone or with a friend (which is why the impressions of the passage increase at times). The action takes place in 2631. Two soldiers, Bill and Lance, fight against the terrorist organization Red Falcon. Your heroes have wide selection weapons (from submachine guns to lasers), but it is best to use a gun that shoots loose bullets. In addition to the usual stages with a side view, there are also levels where we storm the enemy base with a view from behind. The Japanese version, Gryzor, is significantly superior to the American one: it has much better sound, more animation and plot scenes. Truly Contra is a shooter for all time.

The same Black Cloak, the hero of the animated series. This game for us will always be fanned with a light veil of nostalgia. Very good graphics, mind-blowing jazz music. Seven levels: the bridge where we fight with Quaga, the city where the Werewolf lurked, the sewer system is the Liquidator's lair, the shipyard is the Megavolt's hideout, the skyscraper where Professor Moriarty tests his hellish machines, the forest is the abode of Bushrut and the ship of the main villain - Steel Beak. In addition to the gas pistol, there are three types of weapons: lightning that flies in two directions, a hyper-ball that scatters on the ground, and an arrow that you can grab onto.

Chip "n Dale Rescue Rangers 2

Genre: platformer

The second game is about Chip and Dale. The levels have become more colorful, there are more pleasant memorable melodies, battles with enemies and bosses have become more interesting, and it has become much more convenient to control chipmunks. Boxes can now be launched not only directly, but also obliquely; in addition, if you throw the box at a run, it will fly like a powerful projectile. Playing for two, you can grab a partner and throw him at the enemy with acceleration. The levels have decreased in number, but have become more entertaining. Mini-games for two have appeared, available right at the stages. Rescuers, go ahead!

NES exclusive from Konami. The 3rd part is in general similar to the second, but it has a lot of improvements. The graphics have become even more beautiful, the background, objects, enemies are drawn clearer and more detailed, there are more objects interacting with turtles (for example, when the hero is flattened into a cake or he is covered with soot). The characters, in comparison with the second part, have an individuality - each has its own special moves. They must be used with caution - each super-hit disappears a unit of health. The captivating plot is presented in a cinematic style. More than a worthy sequel, an excellent game of the series.

Konami has made many great games in the universe Tiny Toon... This creation is one of them. We are offered to help Buster the rabbit to save his friend Babs. But it is not necessary to control only a rabbit, at the right time you can change the eared one to one of his three friends. Plaka's duckling can move smoothly through the air on its wings; Tasmanian devil Dizzy - spinning like a hurricane; Furrball cat - climb the wall to any height. You can't call it a difficult game, but you have to keep your ears open: the enemies here are dangerous. Reckless, fun platformer will undoubtedly appeal to both people who know the animated series well, and those who have heard of it for the first time.

A kind of offshoot from the first two Counter. This is happening in our time. We choose from four characters, and you can change them right during the game. Each hero has his own weapons and features, and weapons can be improved. Using the pause menu, you can change the character or call a computer partner. The levels are overwhelming with variety. We explore the port, go boating, climb up the ruins of a high-rise building and - attention! - we move in the height directly along the flying planes. Lots of destructible objects in stages. Sometimes there is a slight slowdown, which does not prevent the game from being a great example of its genre.

Bomberman is the most famous character at Hudson Soft. Before us is the first game with his participation. The rules are simple to the point of genius - you need to destroy all the unfriendly creatures on the level with the help of bombs, and then find a way out before time runs out. The blast wave from each bomb spreads in four directions, you need to take this into account so as not to accidentally explode yourself. Also, be careful not to pinch yourself in the corner with the bomb. At first, Bomberman is weak and weak, but by picking up power-ups at each of the levels, you can pump him well. The best combat tournament on Dandy. There are 7 characters: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello, Street Fighter Casey, Dragon Hothead and Shredder as the main villain. There is scene mode where you play as a turtle fighter against his friends and Shredder; game modes for two, games against the computer and tournament, in which you play with whoever you want against whoever you want. The fighting game, despite the small number of characters, turned out to be worthwhile: the controls are responsive, the techniques are easy, the visual and sound effects are good.
