Review of the game injustice gods among us. Review of the PC version of Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. Tyranny for good

It's not the first time the heroes of the DC Comics universe have clashed foreheads in an attempt to find out who is cooler. The memory still has a strange residue from . Nightmares come memories of the ancient 16-bitJustice League Task Force . The crossover that brought Sub-Zero and Superman together in a fair fight was not fine work, but at the very least played, but the first fighting game about the Justice League was one of the worst representatives of the genre, even from its introductory roller and still the blood runs cold in my veins.

About new game From, too, there were doubts: could Ed Boon's studio put together a competitive fighting game without falling into self-copying? But the fears turned out to be unfounded. only superficially resembles the recent one, but in reality we have a completely original game. Whether this is good or bad depends on your expectations.

Minimum blood, maximum pathos

historical moment

Studio NetherRealm once already made a small revolution in the genre of virtual martial arts. In the updated Mortal Kombat there was not only a fascinating scuffle, but also a long, interesting story campaign. And, as it should be in any decent family, the next son was given even more attention.

A long time ago, superhero wars raged in a parallel galaxy far, far away. It all started with the fact that Superman, drugged by the Joker, killed his wife, and with her his unborn super baby. The biometric sensors connected to poor Lois activated atomic bombs after her death, and the city of Metropolis, which sheltered Superman, became another zone for lovers. role playing based on the Fallout. A crushed Superman decides that from now on, the best way to keep everything under control is to bring pain and destruction to the masses. By tearing the Joker to pieces in front of a dumbfounded Batman, Superman opens a new chapter in the history of an alternate Earth. A few years later, his manic actions unite all states and all superheroes under the totalitarian banner of the United Earth, where there is no more room for freethinking and disobedience. Bruce Wayne, realizing that he cannot cope with the new world order alone, assembles a miracle machine and teleports him to his parallel world our real, heroes. Fight against the tyrant Superman - let's go!

The Joker got a nuclear bomb. Who, if not Batman, is trying to prevent a catastrophe?

Universe DC Comics in our country, of course, is not as popular as heroic stories from Marvel but it doesn't interfere with the game. The motives and squabbles of the characters are understandable, the storyline does not get into the jungle of confrontations of certain heroes. If one of them recalls old grievances at a meeting, then you simply understand that the guys have some old scores - this does not interfere with the perception of the plot. For those savvy in the intricacies of the DC comic series, the story will go a little deeper, but no more. Overall, the campaign is reminiscent of the movie " Avengers"- superheroes bludgeon each other on the ground and in the air, sometimes interrupted by conversations and jokes. Looks awesome, fun to play.

IT IS IMPORTANT: after the success of Mortal Kombat, our localizers finally became generous and translated all the text in Injustice into Russian. Not without stupid mistakes, of course... In the story campaign, the meaning of some dialogues seriously changes, and in the name of the alternative Green Lantern - oh, horror! - missing letter.

Graphic legacy of the previous game from NetherRealm Studios visible to the naked eye. Unless there is much less blood, and any extreme manifestation of violence is bashfully left behind the scenes.

Solo mode is not limited to the campaign. In addition, the game offers a set of special missions (in the menu S.T.A.R. Labs 240 tasks await you, ten for each character). Batman catches the criminals who escaped from Arkham, Catwoman fulfills an order to steal the Batmobile... All these missions are reminiscent of puzzles from the test tower in Mortal Kombat, but there are also fights with certain conditions (an enemy that restores health every thirty seconds, for example), so the lone wolf will find something to do.

But all this, of course, is only preparation for the most important thing - battles with living people.

IT IS IMPORTANT: online in fighting games is not only an opportunity to measure strength with other people, but also a guarantee of a long and successful life of the game. To improve your skills, it is not enough to play with a neighbor over a bottle of beer once a week - only training with strong opponents from all over the world really hardens. In Mortal Kombat, meeting a player with good ping was almost impossible. The developers promised to improve the network code in Injustice and it seems that they kept the promise. Out of ten random battles, only in two did we notice obvious lags in the picture.

What to harvest and where to run?

Gathering the public around their project, developers usually promise a lot of different things, including ease of learning. Partly true: the list of tricks is very convenient and understandable, everything is here, even the necessary professional players frame-date. The only problem is that Injustice is a very deep fighting game in terms of mechanics, and it will take a very long time to master it.

To achieve such entertainment, you will have to spend at least a month in the game. The first time and the usual combinations are difficult.

At first, it may seem that in the hands is not a gamepad at all, but a stone from which you need to squeeze water. Basic attacks and special attacks are easy to perform, elementary combinations are also easy to master, but this is not enough for the game. In order for all this to work together, to gather into a single beautiful chain of blows, you will have to strain not only your hands, but also your head. And this is despite the fact that the combat buttons have noticeably decreased since Mortal Kombat.

There are three types of attacks available in Injustice: Light, Medium, and Heavy. The fourth, released, button is responsible for the characteristic feature of the character. The Joker blocks hits, gaining a speed bonus for each successful dodge. Solomon Grundy performs a hold that can be turned into a whole combination of wrestling creases. Batman summons mechanical bats that can be launched at an enemy or create a protective field around himself. Due to this, the characters turned out to be very different, and this will undoubtedly affect the balance.

The remaining triggers were assigned a throw, interaction with the active zones of the arena, the use of an energy scale and a useless change of stance. The latter could well have been replaced with a block, but... In Injustice, attacks are blocked by pressing the "back" button, as in , which seriously complicates counterattacks and avoiding long-range attacks.

Moreover, in the settings you can change the type of control, and super attacks will be performed in semicircular movements, a la the same Street Fighter.

Twenty-four fighters, and each has unique abilities. Choice in Injustice matters more than ever.

IT IS IMPORTANT: there is no division into rounds in the game. Each of the characters has two life scales, the first one ends - the player takes a breath, and the battle continues. If the enemy's first health bar is already running out, there is no point in using super strength. This will take away all the energy, but the damage will cause very little.

As in most modern fighting games, in Injustice, in addition to the health scale, there is an energy scale with which you can strengthen your super attacks. It consists of four divisions, accumulates during the battle - almost like in Mortal Kombat.

Having filled the scale, you can do a particularly spectacular trick (in MK these were X-ray attacks). Superman will throw the enemy into space with a blow, catch up there and, aptly hitting his head, will return him to the ground. Doomsday will pierce the Earth through the opponent, and Solomon Grundy will smash his own tombstone on your head. Every superhero (and supervillain!) has something to show.

But not all of the flirting with the energy bar spilled over into Injustice from Mortal Kombat. So, for example, there was such gambling, the stake in which will be your energy. When the player runs out of one of the two life bars, it becomes possible to turn on the collision mode - the superheroes will scatter to the corners of the arena, and the players will choose how many divisions of the energy scale to wager. Whoever sacrificed more - he won (the defender will receive health or the attacker will inflict damage). In such an unusual way, the defender can interrupt the opponent's combination - such an unusual counterattack is obtained.

After Aquaman was satirized in the comedy series The Big Bang Theory, few people want to play him. And in vain, in the game he is clearly not an outsider. And the restarted line of original comics came out quite harsh.

Business card of a new fighting game from NetherRealm Studios- arena interactivity. The locations where battles take place become weapons themselves. Helicopters, motorcycles, caterpillar robots, lasers suspended from the ceiling, ventilation pipes - all this can be used. Depending on the character you choose, the interaction with the environment also changes. Batman will jump away from the dummy to get behind the opponent. Harley Quinn will grab a shotgun from his hands and shoot at the attacker. And the big man Bane will simply and cynically throw a mannequin at the enemy.

As in Dead or Alive, the arenas are multi-level. By pinching an opponent in a corner, you can make a special pushback attack (back + heavy blow), the enemy will go on a long spectacular flight, and, believe me, he will be very hurt. And then the battle will continue in new conditions.

Technologically, the game is seriously behind other modern fighting games. Here, for example, Catwoman and her plasticine companion. The developers did not even hesitate to give the opportunity to manage this feline misunderstanding ..

Since arenas are no longer just decorations, then the choice of scene should be appropriate. Aquaman is more comfortable in his own Atlantis, and Batman is in his own cave. How to resolve the dispute? Very simple - random. Each fighter chooses the arena he likes, and which one will go into action is decided by chance. And this is not the only pleasant trifle.

Injustice is translated into Russian as "injustice". And there's nothing more shameless about a new fighting game than calling it a Mortal Kombat clone. In terms of mechanics, it turned out to be much more complicated than its predecessor, and this, perhaps, lies the main disadvantage of the game. Due to the huge number of individual abilities and techniques, it will not be easy to get used to. Let's see if Injustice manages to gain a foothold in the esports environment, because the first championships are just around the corner. Only here for noisy parties it is better to choose something simpler. Although some

Personally, I'm not a big fan of superheroes, but if I had to choose, I would say that, marvel heroes wipe the nose of the heroes of the DC Universe and you will see this from Injustice review Gods Among US. And not in the sense that "The Flash will not defeat Spiderman in a fight," but in terms of the charisma, interestingness and originality of the superhero. Of course, there are exceptions: Marvel has a white crow - Captain America, and DC has Batman, for whom even Aquaman can be forgiven for these comics. Because he is BATMAN. Otherwise, as for me, DC heroes are kind of dull. As a result of this perception, the picture of the latest Mortal Kombat drawn from the Injustice trailers, but only without meat and with DC superheroes, has never pleased me.

Heroic Charisma

Of the 20 fighters offered to choose from, I know only half, and even then, half of this half - heroes and villains of Gotham. But, if you believe the reviews of ardent DC fans, all the characters are worked out with a bang - both in terms of appearance and charisma, which they try to show at the first opportunity. Each battle is accompanied by introductory words like “You can’t beat me, pathetic slug”, and ends with no less pathetic phrase in the spirit of “Even a slug can overcome a tiger if he has kind heart, big biceps or a light machine gun!” But here the pathos only works for the benefit: the setting, if you like DC comics; or a good mood, if they are indifferent to you and you prefer to interrupt the witty phrases of the characters with your own “gygygygygygy...” with a mouthful of popcorn.

No matter how ridiculous and absurd the dialogues may seem, they are voiced perfectly, because the vast majority of the work is done by the “voice veterans” of the superheroes present in the game, who have voiced the knights of the cloaks and superpowers since the advent of cartoons. And newcomers do not spare charisma for their characters.

There is strength - we will get the mind by force

Gameplay Injustice Gods Among US only superficially resembles Mortal Kombat. The differences make themselves felt almost immediately and begin with the health scale: it is double here. When one is exhausted, the characters automatically move away from each other to a safe distance, allowing the victim to catch his breath and preventing the victorious from cornering the enemy.

"Casualization!" - indignantly scream hardcore players. Well, the barrier to entry is quite low: just hit the buttons and occasionally look at the handy tutorial, but additional modes with mini-games and special battle conditions make it clear that everything is not as simple as it seems.

First of all, this applies to arenas, many of which consist of several tiers designed to throw the enemy at them, and a powerful throw often destroys a good half of the interior along the way. Almost everything that lies, sticks out, moves or even stands in the background can be used for your own benefit or to harm your opponent: this gives the arenas an enviable interactivity. Often, these interactive items are conveniently positioned at the corners of the arenas, allowing cornered* players to escape from captivity.

Techniques against scrap

The developers found a simply ingenious mechanic as opposed to super moves, naming their invention "Fight". It can be played once per battle and involves head-to-head combat at the cost of sacrificing a share of your Super Meter needed to perform a Super Move. The one who sacrifices a large share inflicts damage on the enemy, or restores part of his health, but in addition to these goals, the Fight is used to lure the enemy out of the opportunity to deliver a super blow. I am as far from understanding the esports intricacies of fighting games as my grandmother is from using smartphones, but even a superficial familiarity with the game reveals tactically complex techniques that, at the right time and in the right place, can turn the tide of battle. Already at this stage, the game becomes complex, leaving further study of the subtleties for adrenaline-filled online battles.

The creative genius of Netherrealm never ceases to amaze and delight me: the guys have not released a single game that could be called a repetition of the previous one, and even managed to make Aquaman cool. There is a dearth of companies in the industry that are so open to experimentation.

Verdict

I can say without a doubt that there is great amount fighting games. Some of them are like two drops of water similar to each other, with the exception of only a couple of important mechanics. Gameplay proves this theory as well as his plot proves Luthor's theory of universes.

If MK vs DC allowed NetherRealm carefully feel the new territory for them, then Injustice - to take a confident step into a new universe, instantly standing on a pedestal of success, set on the foundation of quality, style and respect for the source material.

It is worth noting that this is not the first experience of NetherRealm Studios communicating with the universe of Superman and Batman - back in the days when the developers called themselves Midway Games, they released not the most successful crossover called Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. However, since then, NetherRealm Studios has had enough time to realize their mistakes and release a decent game. Today, Injustice: Gods Among Us is also the first available fighting game for PS4. Not to mention that not so long ago the game with everyone additional characters, including Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, also came out on PC, which created a new wave of interest around her.

The first step is to dispel the doubts of those who are only superficially familiar with the studio's games: Injustice: Gods Among Us only superficially resembles Mortal Kombat of the 2011 model. Firstly, here you can divide all the fighters into two classes. The "heavy" class contains fighters like Solomon Grundy or Bane - big, slow and clumsy, but very strong at the same time. Their movement speed is noticeably limited, but the damage dealt is noticeably increased. The dodger class is designed for those who like to attack quickly, land a few sharp blows and immediately jump away. In this class, the speed of movement of characters is comparable to that of the fighters in the ninth part of Mortal Kombat, but the damage from blows is noticeably less than that of large fighters.

Naturally, combinations of blows have not gone anywhere. True, players who, since the days of Mortal Kombat, like to play a whole series of special attacks, preventing the enemy from falling to the ground, relatively speaking, "juggle" the opponent's body, may not like that the "juggle" system in terms of time intervals has become more obvious to novice players. However, this had a positive effect on the visual component of the battles, which, after several hours of training, turn into a real extravaganza of beautiful strikes and powerful special effects - just right for playing with friends. Also, fighters can interact with elements of the environment in the arena. Grab the computer and "put" it on the opponent's head? Not a problem. Attach the enemy to a nearby column? Please! Moreover, each character interacts with the environment in its own way. And if the player manages to play swipe at the moment when his enemy is standing on the edge of the arena, you will be able to watch a flight of special beauty with many traumatic impacts on a variety of objects, followed by a landing on a completely new arena.

There are no rounds in Injustice: Gods Among Us in the usual sense of the word. To defeat the enemy, you must first knock down the first level of the health bar, and then the second. As soon as the first level is knocked down, the game pauses so that both players can get ready. Also, a short-term duel mode has been added to the standard duels. So, if your opponent manages to knock down your special attack with a special key combination, the game gives you a chance to win back, while spending the amount of super-energy that you think you need, which accumulates depending on how well you fight. By the way, it was decided to sacrifice a full-fledged block in the name of a super-ability unique for each character. So, for example, Superman becomes noticeably stronger for a short moment, and mechanical bats begin to curl around Batman, which can be set on the enemy at any moment. The blocking system, meanwhile, has not disappeared, but you need to move backwards, while the character will parry the blows himself. As for the X-Ray attacks that debuted in Mortal Kombat, the developers decided to leave some of their analogues in Injustice. Only, instead of juicy demonstrations of breaking bones in sub-likes, we are shown how cruel and inventive superhumans can be. Within the age rating 16+, of course. For example, the Flash can send an enemy flying with a punch. And while the opponent in slow-mo flies up, our brave hero arranges a race around everything the globe to gain inhuman speed and slam the enemy into the ground with a second blow.

Concerning storyline, then everything is not much better than in Mortal Kombat 2011. DC, apparently, gave the go-ahead to NetherRealm Studios, and they piled up the story needed only to get newcomers to get acquainted with the characters. As a result, we have a plot plot where in one of the universes Superman goes crazy because of the death of his beloved Lois Lane (who was, moreover, pregnant), kills the Joker involved in this and seizes power on the planet. The noble Batman comes to the defense of earthlings, declares war on the man of steel and climbs for help to himself from a parallel universe. You should not expect any revelations and unexpected plot twists, here even the explanation that any hero, even without super-powers, is able to cope with the same Green Lantern, was given extremely stupid. So we do not recommend taking story company as a serious addition to the DC world. It’s better to read the prequel comic, in which things are noticeably better with the storytelling.

Of course, Injustice: Gods Among is not a perfect fighting game. He has flaws. And the balance between the characters is not perfect. But as a less brutal alternative to Mortal Kombat for a good time with friends, it's fine.

Yoke Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Available on PC, PS4, PS Vita, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, iOS and Android platforms.

Warner Bros. pleased the players this year with two high-profile projects that finally made it to the PC. Made this in the middle of the year. well, it's out now Injustice: Gods Among Us, yes immediately in the variant Ultimate Edition. This is the same game on an Android device, but it looks like a pale shadow of what the full version is, which everyone can finally get acquainted with.

Training base

For many, the release of the fighting game was a complete surprise. Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition, but porting was no less a surprise Injustice: Gods Among Us. It just so happened that fighting games in Lately come out only on consoles, and they have no place on the PC - the competition is too high.

However, both NetherRealm games can be called successful and the different game universes on which they are built should be thanked for this. Mortal Kombat and Injustice. If the first uses original characters, then the second is built on the basis of the DC Comics worlds united into a single whole.

A video review was also prepared. This time with poor sound quality, especially for our sophisticated users.

The developers really did some serious work and added a bunch of characters. I think for those who understand them, it will be very interesting to play in Gods Among Us, which offers a story campaign, computer competition and multiplayer battles.

If you are not a fan of comics, then it is difficult to understand the whole plot background, as well as some of the abilities of superheroes, of which each of them has a lot. In this case, you'd better pay attention to Mortal Kombat: Complete Edition.

One Day Justice League

If you are interested in the plot and its presentation, then I can immediately conclude that you should not expect something supernatural. In fact, we have one day in the life of the Justice League. In the pursuit of profit, the world of comics has been inflated to such an extent that now there are a bunch of parallel universes that have the same superheroes. So, the whole plot is based on the opposition of one world to another.

The good news is that there are several such arenas, so after a successful combo, you can break through the wall with the enemy and find yourself in a new place. Other special attacks allow you to send the enemy into the sky or underground and deliver some pathos sweeping blows to him there. However, the usual combinations of light and heavy blows are still the most effective, and they can be applied both while standing, and jumping on the enemy or rolling under the opponent.

In addition, players can use improvised items. This makes the battle scenes not only very spectacular, but also allows you to deal a lot of additional damage to enemies. In a single, such a blow may turn out to be fatal for a computer dummy, but in multiplayer, opponents will be stronger and become even angrier when they get hit on the head with a huge iron beam or a canister of gasoline.

Beat them!

If you are interested in features gameplay and conducted combos, then Injustice: Gods Among Us has something new to offer in this regard. In some places, the combat system copies what we saw in Mortal Kombat, but in places it is completely different.

There are even more than a dozen common tricks available in the battle arena, not to mention special and unique tricks! It will take a lot of time to learn the control of one character and his special techniques, and remembering the commands of all the characters is perhaps impossible. Unless, of course, you are Superman or Batman.

Management is an important element of any fighting game and in Injustice it is at a fairly high level. It is easy to master it if you know how to control the joystick from the consoles. Otherwise, it is better to play on the keyboard, since a separate button can be assigned to each action.

Help in mastering all the skills should be played against artificial intelligence. Here you can hone the skill of performing certain tricks well, as well as memorize tricky and useful combinations.

Then you can try your hand at playing against another player or in multiplayer. In the first case, it is enough to put a friend at the keyboard or joystick and measure their strength. In the second case, a more serious test awaits you, since the most best abilities and most best characters still needs to be opened. And to do this, taking into account the skills of some gamers, is not so easy. For novice players, the joy of victory will not soon overshadow the bitterness of defeat.

Conclusion

IN Injustice: Gods Among Us, developers from NetherRealm managed to capture all the magic of the DC Comics series. There is a storyline, simple and natural for fans of comics, the ability to measure strength with friends or computer opponents, as well as online play.

However, the game cannot be called simple. At high difficulty levels, and even when playing with live players, you have to pass a real test. The mission will be impossible for those who first got acquainted with fighting games, but if you are a fan of games of this genre and have been waiting for a long time Injustice on PC, you will definitely like the game.

We managed to create a queue of those wishing to participate in superhero sparring. Since then, so many words have been said about the game and so many videos have been shown that by the time of the release, a quite reasonable question had matured: what have we not seen before in Injustice? After getting acquainted with the project, it becomes clear that we have not seen so much. We will correct the inconsistencies in the video review from website.

Mixed together in a bunch of superhumans.

The authors of the ninth part clearly know how to keep secrets - throughout the marketing campaign, they managed to leave the plot of the fighting game a mystery. Why did all the characters of the DC universe suddenly arrange a super-bunch-mala, and kindly began to slap each other and foe of the foe? DC Comics writers who worked on the script Injustice, allowed themselves a very laudatory frivolity, mixing the classical universe with a parallel one. The trend towards a bad neighboring dimension is properly exploited by the screenwriters, not putting the idea of traveling around the worlds at the head of the table, but deftly intertwining the fates and characters of the characters.

The story told is mature. On the screens, such brawls are not new, remember at least animated films Batman & Superman sample or year. But not in vain on the box with Injustice flaunts almost the highest age rating - the story told is distinguished by its maturity, and does not hesitate to once again demonstrate the murder process and its moral consequences. Using experience Mortal Kombat, the developer puts the narrative through the mouths of its various participants, changing actor after four victories and sometimes entertaining the user with various QTE scenes. The plot will entrust the player with only half of the available characters, the total number of which was exactly two dozen. True, this number cannot be constant - the expansion of the game pantheon by DLC-therapy is just around the corner.

Each character, whether he is a hero or a villain, has a different fighting technique. Aquaman is great with ranged combos; Lex Luthor's slow, powerful armor is both a strong and weak feature of him; only skillfully using nano-gadgets Batman becomes a dangerous opponent. No imbalance - any hero is suitable for battle with any hero. Developers Injustice Gamer-Info that the combat mechanics will be aimed at both beginners and seasoned gamers. The guys kept their promise: after three minutes of getting to know the project, an unsophisticated fighter will deal crushing blows. And a short course of study and straight arms will allow him to fight back the owner of the console, which, with a smile of a noble troll, offered a friendly duel.

Diversity: Combo Among Us.

Various combat techniques are fraught with various systems of evasion from blows. The standard "go back" requires a manicure for each opponent - whose blow is better to prevent with your own, from whom only a jump can save. Some heroes even have block combinations that turn into a beating of the attacking side. In addition, each fighter has a unique ability that he can use from time to time: The Flash slows down all movements on the screen except his own, Green Lantern covers himself with a shield, Green Arrow fires with a bow.

The game will not offer bloody finishing cutscenes, but the super-hit system is on board, which is a rethinking of the X-Ray scale from Mortal Kombat. Gradually filling up, it allows you to strengthen the special techniques of each character - Superman's breath does not just throw the enemy away, but freezes him, and after a trivial automatic burst, Destroke presents the enemy with a grenade. The gain price is one of the four divisions of the Super Strength bar. If a player is economical by nature, he will be able to afford not a super-, but a super-mega strike, which will be carried out in exchange for all the savings in strength.

Each character has a different fighting technique. Without a filled ability scale, the character becomes vulnerable: sometimes with pretentious faces and words, opponents rush at each other, during which the players make bets on how many power cells it is not a pity to give to whom. Whoever wins the auction gets an increase in health, and whoever loses gets an equally interesting bonus - a punch in the face. If even after that the opponent still has a desire to present arguments in a dispute, with a heavy blow in the best traditions of Chuck Norris, he can be sent flying to another arena. Along the way, the adversary will destroy the walls, break the floor, break the ceilings and ribs. Endless journeys from map to map will be interrupted more by the death of the enemy than by the absence of new opportunities for flight. If suddenly the latter happened, at each location at the disposal of the player there are numerous objects for interaction. You should not neglect them - pressing just one button turns into a good loss of health for the enemy. In addition, as you know, if you don’t score, they score you.

For those who find five hours of campaigning just a light warm-up, NetherRealm prepared an indecent amount of additional content. By gaining experience in solo or online battles, the player unlocks character costumes, art concepts, the coolness of an online avatar, and new battle modes for the ladder aka tower. Passing the stairs for your favorite character is nice because each of the twenty-four will tell the personal ending of the game. The Star Labs challenge mode, in turn, offers 240 different challenges, the performance of which is evaluated by a three-star system. The DC version is harsh and will require serious skill - the following tests are opened only if there are a certain number of stars for completing the previous ones.

Injustice: Gods Among Us- an independent work that will be interesting even to those players who are far from the DC universe. For those who are familiar with Marvel's source of inspiration, NetherRealm preparing a furious portion of fanservice. From the lips of Solomon Grundy comes the canonical rhyme, a supply of kryptonite is stored even in a parallel batcave, don't feed Bane with bread, but let someone break someone's spine on the knee... Many heroes of the DC universe act as extras in the game, walking around in the background arenas or taking direct part in battles during the painful flights of a fighter knocked out of the map. Take away the fan service and you still have an exemplary fighting game: dynamic, diverse and balanced. Now any owner of the console and friends can be forgiven for the absence Mortal Kombat in his collection. If, of course, it has Injustice.
