So, DLC Dragoborn - official addition for Skyrim, in which we have to go to the island of Solstheim. I recommend starting this expansion after completing the main storyline since this may affect the start of the main questline in Dragoborn.

Achievement "Outsider"

The easiest achievement, you just need to arrive at Solstheim Island.
So how do you do it ?!
Let me remind you that it is better to turn on the Dragoborn DLC after completing the main storyline.
As soon as you activate this add-on in the launcher (or in the incentive itself) you need to run to Big City, my choice fell on Whiterun.
Upon arrival in the city, do not rush anywhere, some "Members of the Cult" should kiss you. After a "friendly conversation" we take a note from the corpse of one of them, read it, learn that a certain Mirak ordered us. We leave for Windhelm, find the boy on the boat, talk to him and go to the island. After the loading screen - voila, your achievement.

Solstheim Explorer Achievement

In my opinion, the second easiest achievement.
What do you need to do ?!
Unlock 30 locations on Solstheim Island.
You just need to wander around the island for about 20 minutes. There are about 60 locations on the island, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Achievement "Temple of Mirak"

Dragoborn DLC storyline achievement. Problems should not arise, they describe everything clearly and tell you why. My only comment is that I advise you to go through this addition with a character above level 30, in another dimension (Apocrypha) it will sometimes be difficult. I think there is no need to paint quests, because it is more interesting to go through it yourself.

This is the most recent storyline, storyline, achievement in the Dragoborn DLC. In principle, there is nothing prohibitively complicated.
Attention, bug! For some players, including me, at the end of the quest, the character does not sit on the dragon. This problem can be bypassed by simply opening the console with the key with the ~ symbol (Russian ё) and entering "tcl" there without quotes. After entering, run in a straight line towards the high tower. There you will have a mahach with Mirak.
Before this quest, it is better to prepare in terms of weapons, armor and potions.

Achievement "Crow Rock Dweller"

What need to do?!
Become the owner of a house in Raven Rock.
This is how it is done:
Go southeast from Raven Rock, towards Attia Farm (approximately in this area). You will see how Captain Velet is attacked by some creatures, fight them off, talk to him and go through the "March of the Dead" quest.
After completing this quest, we go to the Crow Rock mine, a path in the city leads to it, but on the map the mine is not a separate location. We go into the mine, talk with Crescius Carellius, the quest begins " The last descent". Again, in the mine, there may be difficulties with the black and red wall. Here is the video:
After completing this quest, Captain Velet should run up to you in Raven Rock and the quest "Revenge does not tolerate vanity" will begin. Everything is simple here, I will immediately say that in Severin's house, where you need to look for evidence - go to the bedroom and look for a safe there (the bedroom is the farthest location)

Achievement "Master of working with stalhrim"

You need to forge a stalhrim item.
How to do it?
In the village of Skaalov, we approach Deor Lumberjack (as if he is a blacksmith), talk to him and the quest "New source of stalhrim" begins. We go to the abandoned inn (the killed guardian will have the key), find the blacksmith in the basement, talk to him and move on. So, our goal is the Northern pier, we kill or negotiate with Ankarion, who is on the deck, and the map is yours. Now we know where the stalhrim deposits are (also to the northeast of the Northern pier on the unmarked island there are 2 stalhrim veins, there are 2 more horkers on the island). But in order to get stalhrim, you need an Ancient Nordic pickaxe, which is easiest not to look for, but to buy from Deor Lumberjack. With its help, stalgrim is mined.
But that is not all. Now we need to find the forge. In addition, you must be able to forge Ebony things(this skill is in the Blacksmithing wheel).
The easiest way to forge Stalhrim Bow or Stalhrim Sword They require Less materials.

Achievement "Secret Knowledge"

1. "Black Book: the sickly ruler" is located in the location "White Ridge Barrow".

Development of

According to gameinformer.com, Bethesda Softworks registered its trademark back in May 2012. Some of the patches for The elder Scrolls V: Skyrim revealed that it will include new armor, the ability to ride dragons (which was already presented by Bethesda at GameJam with the presentation of DICE 2012) and a new major location where the events of the add-on will take place - Solstheim, an island that has already played once as a scene additions The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

On November 2, 2012, Bethesda Softworks posted a tweet that the official trailer will appear on Monday November 5th. The studio also published the first promo art, thereby finally dispelling all doubts about the development of the add-on.

Like the previous additions, according to the agreement with Microsoft, it became available to players with Xbox 360 on December 4, the PC version became available on February 5, 2013, the PS3 version - on February 12, 2013. In May 2013, Russian-speaking fans of the TES series saw an addition to the fifth part of the game - Skyrim Dragonborn. In it, the developers offer to visit the island of Solstheim, get acquainted with new flora and fauna, explore many dungeons, and, of course, get involved in a dangerous and exciting adventure, the outcome of which will determine the fate of this place.

First acquaintance with the Skyrim Dragonborn add-on. How to start a quest?

When launching the game launcher, you need to make sure that there is a check mark in front of the add-on name in a small window. Dragonborn won't work without it. The further pace of development of events depends on how far the passage of the game "Skyrim" has gone. If the Greybeards have recognized the character as Dragonborn, he can safely continue to run, solving his problems and completing tasks. In the nearest settlement, he will be attacked, from which the quest line will begin. If the quest "The Way of the Voice" is not completed, the hero can also get to the island, but the central plot of the add-on will not capture the character until he receives the title of Dragonborn "officially".

Skyrim Dragonborn walkthrough: preparation

If you are going to plunge headlong into investigating the crimes of Mirak, you need to think about the things that the hero will fill the inventory with before going to the island. Solstheim, of course, has its own shops and artisans, but the choice of goods they provide is rather poor when compared to the mainland. The flora is not diverse enough, so you should buy potions in advance, because the passage of the game "Skyrim Dragonborn" is not easy. It is advisable to take with you the best equipment available on this moment and several soul stones if the character is using an enchanted weapon. The main thing is not to take anything superfluous, the hero will not receive his own house on the island soon.

Dragonborn

The passage of "Skyrim Dragonborn" begins with a surprise attack on the character of a group of mercenaries in strange masks, throwing in his face the accusation that he is a false Dragonborn. After repelling the attack and searching the bodies, you can find a note on one of them, which says that the hero was ordered by an unknown person, signed by Mirak, and the mercenaries got to the mainland from the island of Solstheim.

In the port of Windhelm, there is a ship under the control of Gjalund. The hero must convince him to go to the island. Immediately after arriving at Raven Rock, Adril Arano will come out to meet him, interested in the goals of the Dragonborn's visit to Solstheim. If you ask him about Mirak, the advisor will not be able to give a clear answer, but only direct the character to the Earth Stone. In the indicated place, a bunch of local residents will be found, immersed in work and not noticing anything around. The elf Neloth will come out to meet Dovahkiin, who will send him to the temple of Mirak. There the hero will find even more enchanted inhabitants.

Temple of Mirak

From this point on, the passage of "Skyrim Dragonborn" begins to gain momentum. In the courtyard of the temple of Mirak, among the zombie workers is a woman, Freya. She makes a vain attempt to convince her friends to stop building. Freya escaped the influence of Mirak's spell thanks to a magic amulet, and her father, who is also a Skaal shaman, protects the remaining tribesmen by maintaining a magical barrier. Together with a new acquaintance, the hero goes inside the temple.

This is not the only dungeon in Skyrim Dragonborn. Quests will make you plunge into the enchanting atmosphere of unexplored ruins more than once. The Temple is full of Mirak's fanatics, revived draurges and never-before-seen foes - the seekers. The location itself is rather big, but in general it is perceived and passed quite easily.

Shrine of Mirak

After searching the first part of the temple, the heroes find the Shrine of Mirak. Below is the Wall of Words, allowing Dovahkiin to learn the word of power "Incarnation of the Dragon". It is used according to the same rules as talent, that is, no more than once a day. is important in the "Dragonborn" add-on, the passage of the quest line is impossible without him. Using the ability, the hero gains increased strength blows, sturdy armor and powerful screams. As soon as he studies the Word, sarcophagi will open behind his back, from which several draurgs of varying complexity will crawl out, among others there will be a particularly strong one - the keeper of the key. They can open a secret door hidden in the guardian's sarcophagus.

Further passage of the location is no different from the usual dungeon exactly until the moment when the heroes get into a round room, in the middle of which there is a pedestal with a huge and strange "Black Book". As soon as Dovahkiin reads it, he will be forcibly pulled into another dimension, called the Apocrypha, or in other words, the kingdom of the ancient Daedric prince Hermaeus Mora. Mirak will be waiting for him there. As much as the character wants to fight him, now he will be pinned to the floor by a powerful force, deprived of the opportunity to move. The enemy will make a long speech, at the end of which he will kindly demonstrate all three Words of the previously learned cry, summon the dragon and fly away on it, leaving his minions to finish off Dovahkiin. Having gone through terrible torments, the hero will return to the room with the book, where the agitated Freya will be waiting for him.

She will tell you that the character was simultaneously in the hall and was not, you could look both at him and through the hero. The completion of the quest will be sending to the Skaal village, to the woman's father.

The fate of the rocks

It only gets more interesting to play Skyrim Dragonborn. "The Black Book: Awakening Dreams", the passage of which almost killed the hero, piques Storn's interest. He makes the assumption that it is possible to defeat Mirak only with the help of the knowledge possessed by the first Dragonborn. The character needs to go to the Syringa Outpost and learn the Shout "Submission of the Will", with which you can free the Wind Stone.

Before removing the curse, it is worth preparing for the battle. After using the shout on the Wind Stone, a new and very disgusting enemy will appear, called a lurker. The enslaved Skaals will get rid of the spell and go home, and the elder of the settlement will tell you how to find and defeat Mirak.

Cleansing stones

Further passage of "Skyrim Dragonborn" is impossible without completing this simple, but very annoying quest. The essence of the task is to cleanse other sacred stones existing on the island: Earth, Water, Sun and Beast. The algorithm of actions is the same as in the case of the Wind Stone.

The path of knowledge

The only way to defeat the first Dragonborn is to gain the secret knowledge hidden in the pages of the Black Books. One wizard from the settlement of Telvani, Nelot, was just interested in them. This time the game "Skyrim" will surprise you in a very pleasant way. Completing this quest promises an exciting adventure in the sunken Dwemer city.

Having reached Tel Mithrin, one of the settlements of the island, the hero must head to the main tower where Nelot lives. He will tell that he knows where the "Black Book" of interest to Dovahkiin is located, in which he has already been before, but did not have the opportunity to fully explore.

Together with the wizard, the hero will go to the ruins of the city of Nchardak. It was built by the oldest and, unfortunately, extinct civilization of the game "Skyrim". The passage of the location begins with an attack by robbers who have taken a liking to the surface of the ruins. Dovahkiin's companion, fortunately, fights very well. After completing the battle, you should go to the building with a dome. It is impossible to enter it without a special cube, but Neloth had already visited the city earlier, so he took one with him. After placing the artifact on the pedestal, you can continue the adventure. The first room the satellites will get into will be the reading room, in the middle of which, under the glass, is the desired book. But it is impossible to get it at this stage of the game. The wizard assures that you can get the artifact if you turn on the steam boilers.

To do this, Dovahkiin, together with Nelot, will have to solve many puzzles.

People gardener

The expansion is almost complete. How to start the Dragonborn: People's Gardener quest? To do this, you need to cope with Nchardak's puzzles and read the Black Book. In the Apocrypha, Dovahkiin will be met by the Daedric prince himself, he will offer him to quench his thirst for knowledge and use a huge library. The Daedra got tired of Mirak's desire to break out of his control, so he decided to help the hero cope with the first Dragonborn.

Such locations have never been encountered in the Skyrim game. The passage of the "Black Book" is carried out by moving from one chapter to another, the process itself is a simple puzzle and a battle with the local inhabitants, despite the permission of Hermaeus Mora, referring to the character is extremely hostile.

Having reached the last book, Dovahkiin again meets the prince of deceit and knowledge, he forces him to make a deal - the second word of the shout "Submission of the will", without which it is impossible to defeat Mirak, in exchange for the secret knowledge of the Skaals. Storn will agree to help only if the hero has completed the "Cleansing Stones" quest. The shaman will take the Black Book from the hands of the character and read it, before leaving the phrase that this knowledge is nothing special, but the ancestors carefully passed it on from one generation to another, and the curious Hermeus Mora, who devoted his life to collecting various information, could not endure it. The Daedric Prince will kill Storn in the process of absorbing knowledge, but in return will reveal to Dovahkiin the last word of the Scream, granting him the ability to subjugate the dragons.

At the top of the Apocrypha

This is the final mission in the Skyrim add-on. The passage of the quest begins after reading the Black Book "Awakening Dreams". As in the previous task, the hero will have to move through the location, solving puzzles and fighting lurkers and seekers.

The first chapter of the book raises no questions, but the second is much more confusing. It is necessary to climb the steps and take the book "Infinite Limbs" from the pedestal, and only then proceed to the third chapter. Having missed this little detail, you can get stuck in the passage of the chapter for a long time. The environment is more and more like a labyrinth. Passing through the level, it is important not to miss the books: "Submerging Claws" and "Peeping Spheres".

Moving on to the fourth chapter, the hero must go down the stairs. In one of the corridors, he will have an unexpected meeting with local inhabitants, after their death, another corridor will appear. While exploring it, you should not overlook the latest book "Tooth Blades". Now you can safely move on to the fifth chapter, without fear of not picking up important items.

In the huge hall, Dovahkiin will meet four pedestals decorated with drawings. It is on them that you need to place the previously selected books. "Plunging claws" on the corresponding cartoon. "Peeping spheres" on the drawing of the eye, "Blades" to the image of the mouth open in a grin, and the last on the symbol of tentacles. A book will appear in the center, sending the hero to the sixth chapter.

Dovahkiin can only subdue with the help and immediately learn to ride a winged monster. In the game, the lesson will be shown only once, so you should carefully memorize the dragon control buttons. The hero will have a battle with several seekers, you can do this riding on a reptile. After that, Sarotar will take the Dragonborn to Mirak, who is preparing for battle. The enemy has enlisted the support of two dragons, but in the battle they will have a very mediocre participation.

Every time the enemy is close to defeat, he gains invulnerability, during which he restores health by absorbing the souls of reptiles, first those that he summoned, and then Saratora. When there is no one to sacrifice, you can safely increase the pressure. This time, after Mirak's health has dropped to a critical level, Hermeus Mora himself will appear, wishing to personally get even with his former subordinate. Before dying, the first Dragonborn will wish the hero a repetition of his fate.

This episode ends the Skyrim Dragonborn expansion. The passage of the quests of the central storyline is completed. However, these are not all of the island's surprises. Walking around Solstheim, you can find many interesting tasks, as well as the Black Books, the reading of which will bring Dovahkiin many useful abilities. In the Raven Wing, you can start a crime investigation. At first glance, an innocent and quick quest turns into a series of intricate incidents that the hero will have to face. As a reward, he will receive a house on the island and a quarrel with Dark brotherhood Morrowind. Many dungeons will delight you with generous treasures and new Shouts.

After launching Skyrim Launcher, make sure Dragonborn is checked. If by this moment the Greybeards have already summoned you and called you Dragonborn, go to some locality and expect an attack. If the quest "The Way of the Voice" is not completed, you can still get to Solstheim, but main quest add-ons will not start until you are "officially" recognized as Dovahkiin.

Dragonborn takes place on the island of Solstheim, familiar to those who played the Bloodmoon addon for TES 3: Morrowind. You can return to Skyrim and drive to Solstheim, an islet near Vvardenfell, any time you want. What to take with you to get started? Consider, even though Solstheim has its own retail outlets, the choice is not as rich as on the mainland, and the flora is scarce. Take good armor and weapons, a certain supply of "healers" and soul stones for recharging weapons, but nothing superfluous - you won't get your home there right away. The main thing is to get rid of the heavy Elder Scrolls if they remain after completing the Dawnguard expansion (turn them in to the Ancestor Moth priest, you will find him in the Dawnguard fort near Riften, and the orc, keeper of the library in the College of Winterhold).

You are unexpectedly attacked by a group of strangely dressed, masked comrades, shouting that you are not a real Dragonborn. Fight back the attack and search the bodies of the hapless killers. On one of them there is a note from which you will learn that someone Miraak "ordered" you, and his followers arrived from the island of Solstheim on the ship "Northern Maiden", which is docked in Windhelm.

Travel to Windhelm and find Captain Gjalund in the harbor. Use any available means (persuasion, threats, money) to convince him to deliver you to Solstheim. Sit back and enjoy the view of the surroundings.

It is not necessary to wait for the attack, you can go straight to the port of Windhelm and sail to Solstheim.

Upon arrival at Raven Rock, you will be greeted by Second Counselor Adril Arano. Ask him about Mirak. This name is familiar to him, but the adviser cannot remember exactly why, unless it is somehow connected with the Earth Stone.

You can also ask other residents of the town. Everyone knows about Mirak, but no one can say anything definite. Walk to the outskirts of Raven Rock, where you will see the Earth Stone and people working on the construction of the sanctuary. An acquaintance from passing TES III is a dark elf named Neloth who will notice that you are not like the others and direct you to the Temple of Miraak.

Go to the very center of the island, climb the stairs, literally strewn with dragon skeletons. There you will find even more bewitched people working on the construction site near the Stone of the Tree. This is the Temple of Mirak, be prepared for the attack of its followers.


Crow Rock.

"March of the Dead".

Is, in fact, the very first side quest which can be obtained on this island. We leave Voronya Gora and go straight along the path. There you will see a brawl between a brave Dunmer with ashen spawn - one of the new enemies in the add-on. We scatter them, accept thanks from Velet and a request for help. Velet complains that he does not have enough soldiers and that there is no one to send to investigate this case. We volunteer to help. We search the former enemies and find the letter, read it, after that we go to the "Fort of the Frosty Moth" to kill General Falks Kariya. Hi Bloodmoon, we missed you. Upon arrival at the fort, we will hear the general's notification that the enemy has invaded the territory and must be killed. We uncover our weapons and fight our way to the general. After that we kill the general. Do not forget to search his body: he has an excellent enchanted hammer and a letter to the capital of the Empire. After that, we return to Velet - we get thanks and a bunch of gold, which depends on the level of your ward.

To get this task, go to the "Crow Mine" and listen to the conversation between the two. After that, approach the old man - Cretius Cerellius and get the task. He will ask you to find the remains of his great-grandfather and for this he will give a letter and a key to the mysterious door.

We go down into the mine, deal with the spiders and rats, after that we knock down wooden beams and open the iron door with the key received from Cretius. We pass further, avoiding traps and dead ends. After that, we find ourselves in the area where the waterfall is. We jump down and see the remains of the great-grandfather Cretius. We search them and we get a diary that must be read. After reading, we take the Bloodskal blade, which will help to solve the puzzle. To solve the puzzle, you need to do the following:

Perform a side power attack, two power attacks in place, another side power attack. After that, the stripes will disperse and the door will open.

Go ahead and meet the dragon priest Zakrisos, kill him and remove the mask from him. Remember to go to the word wall and learn a new word. Also there will be a "black book", which was written about in another guide. After that we go upstairs and find ourselves in the “Bloodskal barrow”.
