Trevor Phillips is an absolutely frostbitten redneck with a crazy look and a strange attraction to women over 50. He is not just a redneck, but a square redneck: he blows his nose loudly into his hand, wears dirty pants, hates hipsters (missions and dialogues about this are done very well), sometimes wakes up on the shore in only shorts among empty bottles and corpses, and can also sit down straight in the middle of the city and pile up a bunch.

And when these three characters got involved in a showdown with the most insane representatives of the criminal world and the American government, they had to make a series of risky raids in order to survive in a cruel city in which they cannot be trusted by anyone, not even each other.

In this game, absolutely everything is great: cars, the city, gangsters, policemen, their conversations, deeds, weapons, women and friends. However, the plot is most magnificent. Mafia is more like a movie than any other game. This is a kind of interactive tape about gangsters. 1930s USA, the Great Depression, Prohibition, white Buicks, black Cadillacs, expensive suits, Italian bars, fat cigars, tommy guns, baseball bats, chases, bullet-riddled glass, blood and carnage - all the film is filled with these traditional elements, however, it is in this game that they make the picture incredibly deep, expressive and clear.
