Games with real graphics on pc. The most realistic graphics in the game. Skull & Bones Video Games

Have you bought an expensive new graphics card for your computer and want to put it to the test? We have prepared for you a list of games with the most realistic and stunning graphics. Are you ready? Let's go then!

10. Witcher 3: Wild Hint

Our rating opens Witcher 3: Wild Hint... The third part of the franchise about the white-haired witcher Geralt is excellent in every way. And the graphics of the game are no exception. Even a quick glance is enough to be convinced of this.

The Witcher 3 amazes with its beautiful, picturesque landscapes. Spacious forests, endless fields and majestic mountains will impress even the most sophisticated gamer. Medieval cities are highly detailed and realistic. Traveling in The Witcher 3 is a pleasure.

If you have long wanted to try an RPG with beautiful realistic graphics, then the third part of The Witcher is what you need.

9. Crysis 3

Original part Crysis has been the industry benchmark for realistic graphics for many years. Even now, a shooter can give modern graphics cards a good test.

Let be Crysis 3 and did not win the same laurels as the first part of the franchise, but the sequel still inherited excellent graphics from its predecessor, and therefore simply must be on our list.

8. Just Cause 3

On the eighth line of our rating is Just Cause 3... Of course, the game has competitors with a more beautiful picture. But rarely where you can see the same concentrated dose of madness as in Just Cause 3. Explosions, driving high-speed cars, jumping in a wing suit and ... more explosions.

Seeing all this on a monitor screen is a pleasure. Get ready for long hours of fun, chaos, and destruction in Just Cause 3.

7. Forza Horizon 3

Forza horizon has been for a long time one of the best episodes arcade car simulators. Since 2016, it has been available on PC, and PC gamers can now drive around Australia to music.

But to fully enjoy the beauty Forza horizon 3, you'll have to fork out for a good graphics card. But trust us - you will not regret the money spent.

6. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

The only thing that has no complaints about Deus Ex: Mankind divided , these are graphics. Here she is really great. Of course, the level design may seem a bit outdated and the plot primitive and boring. But the visual design of the game, no doubt, deserves attention.

If form is more important to you than content, then Deus Ex: Mankind Divided may well appeal to you.

5. Dishonored 2

Stealth action is in fifth place on our list. Dishonored 2... Although after the release the game was criticized for its bugs and shortcomings, nevertheless, it is a real masterpiece.

Perhaps the plot of Dishonored 2 is somewhat inferior to the first part, but the level design is so great that even Deus Ex: Mankind Divided looks archaic in comparison with it.

4. Grand Theft Auto

Of course, our rating would be incomplete without a fifth Gta... Developers focused primarily on the console last generation but Grand Theft auto 5 was also one of the best PC games. And not the least reason for this was the amazing graphics. The range of the landscape is impressive.

There are also many mods with which you can improve the picture. GTA 5... If for some reason you have not yet played the fifth part Grand theft Auto, then run to the store for the coveted disc.

3. Project CARS

Project CARS differs from the rest of our list in that it is more of a simulator than a regular game.

The graphics are really mesmerizing here. Perhaps, nowhere else have we seen such photorealism. Sometimes you forget that this is just animation. For this reason, we simply could not help but include Project CARS on our list.

2. Fallout 4

Graphics Fallout 4 cannot be called the most beautiful in the industry. Of course, it's better than the previous installments in the series.

You can relate to the picture of the game in different ways. But it should be noted that developer Bethesda has made a high-resolution texture pack for Fallout 4 that will give your graphics card and processor a good test. Good luck to you!

1. Arma 3

The first place in our ranking goes to the tactical shooter from Bohemia Interactive Studio. The range of drawing the landscape in Arma 3 is 25 kilometers. According to this indicator, the shooter even surpasses the third part of The Witcher, which already says a lot.

In addition, Arma 3 boasts excellent lighting and particle effects. And the mechanics of the movement of bullets can completely kill your processor. Before playing Arma 3, we strongly recommend that you fire up your computer.

There are many compelling arguments for gaming consoles, but when it comes to graphics quality, the PC is an instant leader. So, even on the brand new PlayStation 4 and Xbox one most games only run at 900p and 720p, respectively. Whereas even a mid-priced PC can run games at 1080p or even 1440p, and top-end PCs can run games in 4K. Do not forget about additional graphics technologies available only on the PC: improved anti-aliasing, imitation of natural light, physics of small particles, etc.

Released in 2007, the first part of Crysis was clearly made with a margin for the future - at that time there was simply no PC capable of providing smooth gameplay at maximum graphics settings. The third part of Crysis also turned out to be a reference: at least as realistic grass (each blade of grass lives its own life) is not found in any other modern game.

Metro: Last Light Redux

The post-apocalyptic shooter Metro: Last Light initially set an extremely high bar for graphics quality - leather jackets look especially realistic. By the way, we regularly use the benchmark built into Last Light in our reviews to test processors and video cards. But the developers 4A Games went even further and released a re-release of Redux, which includes both parts of Metro, with improved graphics.

TES V: Skyrim (+ Mods)

Incredibly beautiful, but certainly not high-tech was originally a fantasy role-playing game TES V: Skyrim. Fortunately, folk craftsmen got down to business and soon released a set of improved textures. Almost everything was redrawn: the faces of the characters, chain mail, swords, animals and dragons, and, of course, the main attraction of the Skyrim land - nature.

The Spintires car simulator is notable not so much for its graphics, although it is quite decent, as for the super-realistic physics, for which the Havok engine is responsible. The game offers to ride jeeps and trucks over rough terrain. At the same time, there is a high risk of getting stuck in mud or sand.

It's one thing to do beautiful graphics in a single-player hallway game, and quite another - in a multiplayer game with spacious maps. Moreover, the network shooter is simply obliged to work at 60 FPS. The main innovation of Battlefield 4 is the Levolution technology, which changes the map beyond recognition directly during a multiplayer match. Falling skyscraper, collapsing dam, ocean storm and sandstorm - this is not a complete list of the graphic beauties of Battlefield 4.

Ryse: Son of Rome

Ryse: Son of Rome is another "monstrous" game from the Crytek studio, the authors of the Crysis trilogy. This time, the theme of the near future was replaced by the distant past - the era of the Roman Empire. The levels in Ryse are much less spacious compared to Crysis 3, and the game itself has become, in fact, a "kinsman", but rather dynamic and, most importantly, very beautiful.

Personally for me, Dying light was the main pleasant surprise among the games of the first quarter of 2015. Not only is its gameplay and atmosphere completely different from its predecessors (Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide), but also the quality of the graphics came out dramatically new level... Moreover, Dying Light is beautiful in different ways day and night.

The final version of the Project CARS car racing simulator has not yet been released, but the graphics of even the beta version are impressive. If the nature around the racing tracks is drawn well, but nothing more, then the very surface of the tracks and, especially, the cars look superb. Perhaps this is the first and so far the only computer game, which can be a stretch, but still called photorealistic.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The third part of The Witcher is another game that has been carried over several times and has not yet been released in our rating of the most beautiful. Calling it realistic, perhaps, will not work - it has a very unnaturally variegated color scheme. But the work of the artists and the graphic technologies used in the costumes of Geralt and his companions, as well as the world around them, are impressive.

Unreal Paris is not a computer game, but just a small demo scene on the brand new Unreal Engine 4. But damn it, it has the most real photorealistic graphics! The demo shows a stylishly furnished apartment in Paris that you can wander through. Wood and fabric textures on furniture look great. And, best of all, Unreal Paris has a very natural color scheme without blue and orange filters, which are currently fashionable in cinematography and game development.

Months of persuasion and daily savings on school lunches throughout the year finally paid off - your parents bought you a monstrous computer system capable of clicking Crises like nuts. Naturally, you immediately twisted the graphics settings in Minecraft to the maximum and fell out of your chair in surprise. The changes were so imperceptible compared to the minimum settings ...

But how can you not show your friends from the next doorway the square muzzles of the main characters and the sprite jungle with greetings from the nineties? I would like to show them such a realistic picture that they choke on their own saliva. And then we appear on a white horse with a list of the most beautiful games for PC. Install them on your "beast" and enjoy the envy in the eyes of your school friends.

Now you can expand the list, and so far we have jumped to compile a rating of the most soulful game projects for those who are ready to put up even with pixel graphics, if only the game has that very atmosphere.

11. Crysis

  • Developer Studio: Crytek
  • Engine: CryEngine 2
  • Release date: November 2007

A real legend among schoolchildren of the mid-2000s (the current generation of students is already praying on Crysis 3) and the main counter-argument of the PC boyars when arguing with console players. The fact is that this project is a PC-exclusive (we are talking about the original project, since the game with a different engine came out on consoles) and even after 9 years it looks like a cucumber. Sharp textures, divine sunbeams, incredible detail - all this creates a beautiful picture, which, however, has become a little outdated over the years, which is why Crysis did not make it to the top of our rating.

If you were born after the release of this game, but consider yourself a true follower of Vanomas, then passing Crysis should be at the top of your list of priorities for the next weekend. Let many scold her for boring gameplay, ill-conceived balance and a banal plot, but this is not important, because where else can you raise a highly detailed turtle and throw it into the azure waters of the ocean?

10. Battlefield 4

  • Developer Studio: DICE
  • Engine: Frostbite 3
  • Release date: October 2013

For a long time, the Battlefield series has been revered by millions of schoolchildren around the world for its graphical excellence and the fourth numbered part is no exception to the rule. This tradition is likely to continue with Battlefield 1. So what does this multiplayer shooter have to offer? Large-scale battles with the participation of several dozen soldiers and vehicles, an advanced destruction system, high-quality textures and a huge number of bugs. At the time of the game's release, it was almost impossible to play, and the frame rate rarely exceeded 30fps, even on the most powerful gaming systems. However, to date, most of these errors have been eliminated.

The system requirements for Battlefield 4 still look pretty daunting and there is a good reason for that. The fact is that it has such an option as a resolution scale, which allows you to increase the clarity of all textures in the game. Naturally, it "eats" a huge amount of resources, but at the same time allows the project to demonstrate an excellent picture.

9. Far Cry: Primal

  • Developer Studio: Ubisoft Montreal
  • Engine: Dunia Engine 2
  • Release date: March 2016

Although in the new part of Far Cry we have to play as a caveman, but to run it at maximum settings, modern hardware is required. The game boasts good lighting, detailed environments and crisp textures. In addition, Far Cry: Primal on PC uses the latest Nvidia technologies, capable of plunging even "top-end" video cards into a swamp with low fps.

Otherwise, this project is a classic conveyor product with a minimum of innovations and a maximum of borrowings. Even the original setting is not able to dispel the boredom of tedious collecting flowers and killing cute saber-toothed cats with believable fur (thanks again to Nvidia). But you can see in detail the evil faces of the Neanderthals. Isn't it exotic?

8. Just Cause 3

  • Developer Studio: Avalanche Studios
  • Engine: Avalanche Engine
  • Release date: November 2015

Watch out for dictators! Rico Rodriguez went hunting again. This time, he decided to go to his homeland - the fictional island of Medici - to deal with another tyrant who dreams of world domination. Buy Just Cause 3 is for those players who love huge spaces and tropical landscapes. Area game world here it is almost 1000 square kilometers, and the lighting and visual effects are so good that, at times, it seems as if the hero has entered a real paradise. At least, it seems so until the realization comes that every inhabitant of the island wants to send the protagonist to the next world.

Another plus of the game is the very advanced physics that allows you to destroy large objects and launch opponents into the air, tying them to gas cylinders. True, it's a bit tough here with realism - you understand that when the main character, as if nothing had happened, jumps from one jet plane to another right in the air, and then hooks it to a helicopter and arranges a fun air carousel.

7. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

  • Developer Studio: Ubisoft Quebec
  • Engine: AnvilNext
  • Release date: November 2015

In the middle of the 19th century, the workers in Great Britain were not doing very well - they had to work for 12 hours at the factory to earn money for food. Now, those who want to buy a computer capable of running Assassin's Creed: Syndicate at maximum settings have to work for so many hours. It tells a very interesting story about the Fry twins trying to put together a gang of ordinary London hard workers in order to throw the elite, who are also Templars, from their homes.

In addition to a good storyline, there is the classic gameplay of the series and good visuals that immerse players in the atmosphere of Victorian London. Textures high resolution, excellent play of light and shadow, excellent animation of movements - allow you to believe in what is happening on the screen and truly empathize with the main characters. In addition, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate on PC got rid of all the software "sores" that suffered from the previous part.

6. Rise of the Tomb Raider

  • Developer Studio: Crystal Dynamics
  • Engine: Foundation
  • Release date: January 2016

What can Lara Croft fans expect from the developers of the next Tomb Raider adventures? Fascinating gameplay? Original locations to explore? Abstruse puzzles and complex riddles? Of course not - everyone is waiting for a better model of the main character and Crystal Dynamics did not disappoint the fans. In the PC version of Rise of the tomb The 2016 Raider features the most detailed Lara model ever. Just look at these rounded forms of magnificent natural landscapes. Where else can you see such beauty?

The only pity is that PC users had to wait several months before the game appeared on computers. Let's hope that the next part will be released on all platforms at once and will delight players with even better "landscapes".

5. Metro: Last Light Redux

  • Developer Studio: 4A Games
  • Engine: 4A
  • Release date: August 2014

The first Crysis was considered the most graphically advanced and demanding game for several years until the release of Metro 2033, which amazed many with its perfectly simulated subway and beautiful lighting. Metro: Last Light Redux is the latest installment in the franchise and continues its tradition, loading players' systems to the maximum and showing them extraordinarily realistic locations. All thanks to the use of geometric tessellation, volumetric fog, advanced PhysX, crisp textures and complex smoke effects.

However, in open locations this game nevertheless loses to the rest of the heavyweight of the rating, therefore it is only in 5th place.

4. Crysis 3

  • Developer Studio: Crytek
  • Engine: CryEngine 3
  • Release date: February 2013

If the original Crysis blew everyone's brain with its mind-blowing graphics at that time, then the second part looked like a poorly made console port. Adepts of the PC cult accused the developers of all mortal sins and promised them to allocate a separate cauldron in Hell. Crytek scared the enraged occultists and rolled out another game that, at the time of its launch, melted any video card. Even now to run Crysis games 3 requires an expensive graphics accelerator at ultra settings.

What can surprise the third part of those who have seen the types of PK-boyars? First, a huge amount of heavy visual effects and believable physics. Secondly, using tessellation. Third, the use of high-resolution textures. All of this still produces a wonderful picture, which is why Crysis 3 took such a high position on our list.

3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

  • Developer Studio: CD Projekt RED
  • Engine: REDengine 3
  • Release date: May 2015

Who would have thought that Poles are masters not only in pickling cucumbers, but also in creating large-budget role-playing projects. A striking example of this is The series Witcher. The second part could well have entered our rating if the third did not exist, since even it demonstrates an excellent picture, although it came out about 5 years ago. As for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it may be inferior to the realistic graphics Star Wars: Battlefront or Crysis 3, but far ahead of them in terms of atmosphere.

An incredible feeling arises when you stand in a clearing in the middle of flowering apple trees and see in the distance the white caps of mighty mountains, which are not ordinary decorations, but are real objects that you can reach on foot. Plus, do not forget about the mods for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which can significantly improve the lighting and quality of textures in the game.

2. Star War: Battlefront

  • Developer Studio: EA DICE
  • Engine: Frostbite 3
  • Release date: November 2015

Photorealistic picture, spectacular shootouts, as well as familiar scenery and characters - what else do fans need " Star Wars" for happiness? Oh yes, the presence of a single player campaign, the absence of paid DLC, the total cost of which exceeds the price of the game itself, the presence of a larger number of planets, vehicles, characters, maps and others game elements... However, we digress from the topic, because graphically, Star Wars: Battlefront on PC is incomparable, and therefore is one of the three most beautiful games.

The forests of Endor are striking with their dense vegetation and tall trees, the rocky surfaces of Tatooine look like they came from the pictures of a professional photographer, and the wastelands of Sallost, covered with lava veins, just ask to be on your desktop as wallpaper. But most importantly, you do not need to have a super-powerful "car" to enjoy all these beauties, because the developers have managed to perfectly optimize their game. However, the owners of "Titans" should not be upset about this, because they can always unscrew the resolution scale up to 200 percent and see even the smallest grains of sand on the ground.

1. ?

There is no first place. Why is that? It's simple - most TOPs are a subjective assessment of one person trying to objectively present their point of view as objectively as possible. However, the first place should represent a kind of ideal, and, as you know, there are spots even in the sun. Therefore, each player's rating will always be headed by his own game. In some cases, it may coincide with the choice of the author, and in others it may not. For example, personally, I would place on top of Gothic 3, which at one time graphically impressed me more than Crysis. It was quite difficult to get used to what only a year ago we saw characters with shoveling hands in games (hello GTA: San andreas), and after a few months they walked through the beautiful forests of Myrtana. Which game would you put first?

If just 10 years ago, graphics in games were, to put it mildly, with slightly noticeable polygons and angular textures, then today games can boast a very realistic world with detailed drawing and lighting close to real life. Sometimes it becomes difficult at first glance to distinguish what is in front of you, gameplay footage or footage shot with a camera with a blur filter applied. Today, we will just look at such games.

Over the past year, excellent projects have been released that can boast of their realism and help the player fully immerse themselves in virtual world... Let's take a look at the most popular games with realistic graphics in the opinion of the gamers themselves.

Our top contains games released over the past 5 years, including in 2017. If you are interested in games with the most realistic graphics that will be released in 2018, then watch this video:

Top 10 Games with Incredible Graphics 2018 | Most Anticipated Games on PS4, Xbox, PC

Now let's look at games with realistic graphics that have been released for a long time and you can play them right now.

Project cars

But the graphic component can shock a person who has not seen a good picture in games. The developers tried to make everything so close to reality that sometimes you get the feeling that you are really watching a show about races. All models are made very high quality.

The game looks photorealistic. But in all other respects, it was mediocre, and therefore received low marks from both critics and the audience.

This game came out of the hands of the developers of Guerilla Games and saw the world in 2017. the truth is, you can only play it on the PS4 console. There is no PC port yet, but it is likely that it will appear soon. The developers did not give a definite answer. The game is very fresh and not like the previous simulators of "killing hogs".

The setting of the game immerses us in a style that has never been used before. The German company was able to mix primitiveness with a technogenic revolution. The player will visit an unknown planet, the flora and fauna of which is very similar to the era of the dinosaurs. At the same time, absolutely everything is connected with unusual futuristic technology.

The developers managed to convey the atmosphere completely with the help of excellent graphics. And here she really amazes the imagination. Advanced technologies are used, which, perhaps, will set a mandatory level for any "AAA" project of the game.

Gta v

Well, there is no way around the creation of the company in this list Rockstar games". Already from these guys there were always games that became cult and super popular. That there is only one of their series - Grand Theft Auto. By the way, it was these games that gave the company wide popularity.

In the fifth part of the "bad guys" simulator, they decided to focus on graphics. And it worked out great. The graphics are very realistic. The most beautiful picture can be enjoyed by PC players.

The giant of the video card industry - "Nvidia" just at the time of the release of the game, introduced technologies that make it possible to make the usual "plasticine" graphics more realistic. Mainly shadows, clouds, reflections, post-processing, hair and decals were worked out.

But GTA V is interesting not only in terms of graphics. The developers have focused on the realism of the game world. It worked out great, most of the characters are constantly busy with their stuff. They sleep at night, go to work in the morning, walk and relax in the evening, interact with each other. Curious events are constantly happening, which really revives the world and delays the player for a couple of extra hours.

This game can be called the most realistic game in the world, but, as you know, not everyone will like it. Moreover, on a PC, it has serious requirements for a comfortable game with maximum graphics quality.

Adding a multiplayer mode is a great move on the part of the developers. This allows many gamers to cooperate to complete missions and increases replay value. I want to enter the game again every day.

Uncharted 4

The game from Naughty Dog company turned out to be great. Highest reviews from critics, similar opinions of players. All games in the series are an adventure shooter that has a fairly rich and well-developed world. In graphic terms, this part turned out to be simply a masterpiece.

Sometimes during the game it seems that the developers with diligence meticulously traced each cobblestone, even in those places where, it would seem, it is completely unnecessary. The highest resolution of the textures shows that the emphasis was placed on the graphics. And that was the right decision.

The atmosphere is well conveyed by the stylistics of the image, elaborated shadows, light. The musical accompaniment, as always, does not lag behind. All this, coupled with a well-composed plot, which, by the way, continues the history of the previous game, makes players start the game over and over again.

In general, all lovers of stunning graphics are recommended for the passage.

Infamous: Second Son

Games in the Infamous series are made in a genre that is unusual for many players. You have to play as a hero who can absorb the "superpower" of others. The main genre of the game is action, but at the same time there is an open world, which is extremely unusual for such games.

The game has a moral choice, which is presented in the following form. the player will need at the very beginning how he will act in the course of the game: a hero who helps everyone or a villain who only cares about his personal goals.

Gameplay versus previous parts got an extension. Now you can have in your arsenal not one or two elements, but four at once. But the plot is not executed at the highest level. In principle, the game stands out not for its sharp and intense plot, but for its advanced graphics.

The graphics are really worked out seriously. All effects from fire, lightning and other things are made very realistic. The textures are high resolution and well rendered. Lighting effects, shadows, physics of objects - all this strongly distinguishes the game from others. The graphic component is the strongest side of this game.

Star citizen

It is very difficult to say something about this game as it is under development. According to the assurances of the developers, it will turn out to be great and will be distinguished by chic, well-developed, realistic graphics.

As the name implies, the game will be associated with space. The player will need to build relationships with other residents. With some it will be possible to trade, with others you will have to fight. According to its concept and description, it will turn out to be something very suitable and of high quality, which has not yet had time to bore the ordinary gamer.

Far cry primal

The Far Cry series is one of the most popular shooters in the niche with open world... In their new part, the developers decided to conduct an experiment. They combined the shooter with the primitive world. It turned out very well and fresh.

One of the unique features of the game is the ability to tame wild animals. The function looks interesting. Just imagine what it is like to run with a bow and have a saber-toothed tiger as assistants. At the very least, this is unusual for such games.

The graphics stand out especially. Made with high quality. The developers did a good job on the animals, effects, lights and shadows. It turned out to soundly transfer the atmosphere of that time and immerse the player in this world. The game is highly acclaimed by critics and the community.

The game was one of the first to claim realism. It was in it that the developers for the first time tried to connect with real life not only the plot, but also the graphics with the atmosphere. But at the time of development, there were no special technical means, so the game turned out to be not at the highest level. This is said not only by critics, but also by most of the players.

Multiplayer deserves special mention. This is really the strong point of the game. There are no cheaters here, which are not uncommon in other shooters of a similar type. For example, in Call of Duty, Battlefield, this is a perennial problem. At the moment, the graphics are no longer advanced, but as the progenitor of the path of realism in games, it is a very good project.

Tom clancy's the Division- representative of slow shooters with tactical elements. The battles are unhurried. The plot is pretty simple and boring. Only names and situations change. Specifically in this game, the player will have to shoot the "bad guys" in New York. But the implementation is already better. You can complete missions either alone or in a company of up to four people.

The graphics are great. It is immediately clear that the developers focused on it. As always, working with shadows, lighting, effects does its job - conveys the atmosphere that the developer wanted to convey. In principle, the project turned out to be interesting, especially if the gamer has the opportunity to play with friends.

Outcome

As you can see, the gaming industry does not stand still and is constantly evolving. And it goes forward by leaps and bounds. Every year there are more and more excellent products that allow you to have a great free time. Perhaps someone will argue that the graphics are not important for the game.

This is partly true, but the validity of this judgment cannot be extended to all genres. Agree that for an RPG, for example, not only the graphic component is important, but also a deep atmosphere, dialogues, good voice acting, an interesting and elaborate plot to the smallest details.

But in racing games, few people pay attention to these components. Because most of the time the player is in the race and looks at the picture. Of course, there are exceptions to any rule, but the overwhelming majority fall under this rule.

Name unambiguously best game with the most realistic graphics it is simply impossible. Everything here depends on individual perception and there simply cannot be a single correct opinion. All games featured are selected and described based on overall ratings and player feedback.

Good day, friends!

Anyone loves to play games with cool graphics, this is a given, of course, if the plot is also good for this graphics. Technologies are developing at such a speed that you don't even have time to be surprised. I remember I was happy with the graphics in The Witcher 3, it seemed to me then the limit of possibilities. Well, maybe at that time it was so, I don't know.

But, friends, 2018 is just packed full of games with good graphics. Not even just good, but gorgeous! I wrote about all the games in 2018 on PS4, you can follow the link and see all of them. This list also includes games not only for the console.

Yes, 2017 has already pleased us with cool graphics in games:

    Forza Motorsport 7;

    Horizon: Zero Dawn.

These games showed what modern 3D engines are capable of. But that was last year, and 2018 already has some more surprises in store.

Top games with good graphics

This article contains the most beautiful and impressive games of this year. When choosing the top, the emphasis was placed not only on realism, but also on the artistic style.

Not included in the general list Kingdom come: Deliverance, Days Gone and The Crew 2 fell slightly short, but it's simply impossible not to mention them here.

This line of games has to be given its due, but Metro: Exodus is the bomb! From the very first game scenes shown at E3 2017, it became clear: here it is, real graphics for a shooter!

The lighting and environment effects are amazing and very realistic. Coming out Metro: Exodus in the fall of 2018.

This is a very interesting action game, the events of which unfold in an alternative 19th century (already intriguing, isn't it?). Back at E3 2017, Crytek announced that Showdown uses a cooperative principle like Evolve, which, in fact, allows you to shoot monsters in command.

But that's not the point, Hunt: Showdown is impressive with its graphics. Especially with lighting effects. The game can definitely be put on the list of games with good graphics in 2018.

We have already met the Frostbyte engine in Battlefield 1, it keeps the whole atmosphere of post-apocalyptic and battle scenes. Plus, Anthem also uses DICE, which is probably why the game impresses with great animation and beautiful landscapes already in the first trailer.

The highly anticipated game designed specifically for the PlayStation 4 is out at the end of May 2018. Once you watch the trailer, you will understand why Detroit: Become human considered a game with better graphics: animation is just beyond the bounds!

Another game with a lot of hope. She "broke" everyone when she was announced at E3 2017, which, however, is not surprising, look what game scenes, how they are made!

What is under the hood of this game is not yet known 100 percent, you need to wait for autumn and its release.

Kratos celebrated his return to the Playstation in April 2018. In a new adventure, the Spartans travel north.

What is striking about God of War? First of all, the mimicry of the characters, landscapes (how much atmospheric!) And, of course, the grotesque appearance of opponents.

This western with awesome graphics! Check out the trailer for the game, or screenshots. Do you see how the surrounding world is worked out? What light and what shadows! What a detail! No, I definitely love it.

All this splendor is done with the built-in RAGE Engine, which was last used in GTA 5.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be on sale for PS4 and Xbox One this fall. However, this is still tentative, as there have already been release delays.

In this game, in terms of graphics, the developers want to surpass previous projects, for example, Uncharted 4, and it is very good.

The game's engine continues to evolve, delivering gorgeous character animations, impressive lighting and realism. The game is definitely worthy of your attention.

I deliberately postponed this game "for later", as it looks strange in the list of games with the best graphics for 2018. But this is only at first glance.

Yes, this is a pixelated post-apocalyptic platformer based on the Unity engine, but it is made completely different from the games above. But take a closer look at how the graphics are worked out.

Amazingly detailed, subtle. This is the artist's special take on pixel animation. No, The Last Night definitely earned a spot on this list.

What else to play in 2018

As I said above, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Days Gone and The Crew 2 just fell short of getting into the list, but they are very, very good in terms of graphics. You know, in general, most of the games in 2018 are well done. I can suggest, in addition to these three, a couple more that can please you (both in plot and graphics):

Far cry 5... The game was highly anticipated. Bright and daring, besides, where else can you from the heart drive the sectarians, if not in the fifth Far Krai?

A way out, of course, is far from the game of the year, but you can take a closer look at it. The plot is rather banal, but the game features make it more interesting, I suppose.

Vampyr... We are promised a non-linear game where the main character, as you understand, is ... a doctor. And yes, he is a vampire. But he is, first of all, a doctor! In general, you will decide for yourself, eat everyone or cure.

Crackdown 3- the most action-packed thriller. Graphics, very much even nothing.

Biomutant- an open world game, at least that's how the developers position it. Officially, it's kind of like a post-apocalypse, where technology is tightly adjacent to all kinds of bioengineering. You will play ... a raccoon (well, or someone very much like him))), which walks on its hind legs, owns a cold and firearms, and fights very well.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance- very realistic (especially in combat technique) and cool. A huge number of options for completing quests, well-designed characters and dialogues on the CryEngine 4 engine look very attractive.

Days gone is an open post-apocalyptic zombie world. Of course, the topic is quite hackneyed, but the developers promise interesting game with good graphics and adventure. Judging by the fact that Days Gone is one of the most anticipated games of this year, it will be so.

The crew 2... The first part of this game somehow did not work very well, there were some shortcomings. In the second part, we were promised to correct the omissions, add new vehicles (motorcycles, boats, planes) to make a real MMO racing. We wait.

On this, I think I will stop. The top games with good graphics have been compiled, simpler alternatives are also shown, you can take a leave =)

Enjoy your game, friends! See you.
