Fallout 4 terminal won't open door. A call to arms. Pick up shortwave transmitter

In addition to a huge number of story quests, there are many additional missions Factions in Fallout 4 additional experience and replenishment of stocks of first-aid kits and cartridges. Complete walkthrough quest you will find in this review.

Where to get the quest?

As is common in Fallout 4, the Old Cannons can be unlocked in several ways, but the quest can only be obtained after capturing the castle in the Assault on Fort Independence quest. Some time after clearing the object from the swamp family, Preston Garvey will contact the player. If this did not happen, then you should listen to Radio Liberty. In one of the broadcasts, a note about the capture of the castle will sound, and the “survivor” will be invited to a meeting. A task will appear, and in order to continue it, the player needs to make a short journey through the wasteland of Fallout 4.

Castle

We're heading to our destination. Inside, we will find Ronnie Shaw, who will tell you that once in the past she was one of the Minutemen and served under former General McGann. Now she wants to return to the ranks of the faction back, but Ronnie does not want to go there empty-handed. Then she will offer the hero to explore the old dungeons and arsenals of the castle, which we will do further in Fallout game 4.

"Old Guns". Walkthrough

First, Ronnie and I will go to the old door. It will not work to open it from this side, so we are looking for an alternate entrance. We explore the castle with a woman and find the office of the commander in chief. There is a hidden passage in this room. To find it, enter the construction mode and clear the blockage. Now the path to the castle tunnels awaits you.

In these dungeons, which are a labyrinth of rooms and corridors, devastation reigns: many rooms are littered, garbage and dirt are everywhere, but can such a picture scare a Fallout 4 researcher? "Old Cannons" is a quest that will take you through the tunnels of the castle, but be careful - there are booby traps in some places. If Ronnie Shaw gets blown up by one of them, she will not die, but will say that she can't see well in the dark and ask the player to go ahead. There is also a turret in one of the rooms.

The exit from the catacombs is guarded by a robot sergeant who will start attacking the player as soon as he notices him. This quest boss is quite dangerous, and you will have to spend a fair amount of ammo on it. He can be lured to the door, in which the robot will get stuck. In this case, the player will be able to kill him quite easily and quickly. If this did not happen, then it is better to stock up on impulse and explosive grenades. After all, this is the most difficult opponent in Fallout mission 4 "Old guns", the passage of which we analyze.

Western Bastion

After defeating the sergeant, the player, along with Shaw, should go to the last room, which contains the corpse and personal terminal of the previous Minuteman General McGann. The computer cannot be broken, but Ronnie knows the password from it, so the girl can easily crack the program that opens the door to the arsenal.

The armory of the castle is a real treasury. Here you will find a large number of different weapons and ammunition, which will be very useful when walkthrough Fallout 4. Items that will be needed soon are a few smoke bombs lying on the table. Do not forget to take them before leaving the arsenal.

Now you need to talk to Ronnie. She will tell you about the scheme of the weapon, and also explain what materials you will need for it. Now take the instructions and go to build mode. You can install a tool in any available place, and then assign a settler to it.

Artillery testing

Now, in order to continue the passage of the quest in Fallout 4 "Old Guns", you need to check the operation of the gun. Talk to Ronnie: the character will offer to tune into the radio "Freedom" wave. Now throw the one mentioned earlier into the firing zone. If the radio was on at that moment, then the broadcast will be interrupted, and Shaw will announce the beginning of the shelling. After a couple of seconds, the bombardment will begin, so the player should move away. When the cannonade is over, Shaw will speak about the success of the operation.

Sometimes it happens that the saber was thrown, but the shelling never started. Many players are talking about this bug. If this happened to you, then try to move away from the castle, for example, to Andrew's Station, and then return to your destination. This time, Ronnie will talk about the completion of this stage of the task. It remains only to return to the Minutemen and talk with Preston Garvey, after which the quest in the Fallout 4 game "Old Guns" will be over.

Completing this quest will earn you 372 experience points. You will also get the opportunity to buy from Ronnie Shaw a unique one that deals increased damage to the enemy’s limbs, as well as ammunition for it. But you can make such a purchase only after 10 am. Also, the player should take into account that if he is at enmity with the Institute, then the quest to protect the base from synthetics will immediately begin.

Prologue

After the introductory video, go to the kitchen, where the robot housewife is waiting for you. Now the whole point of your game is to wait for the arrival of the Vault-Tec representative. You can go to the front door and look through the window on it. At the house opposite you should see the same man in a brown coat. Wait for him to get to your door and ring the bell. Open the door at the request of the wife. By the way, you can play as both a man and a woman. Depending on your choice at the very beginning of the game, you will either have a spouse or a spouse.

Talk about everything with the man to find out what he has to offer. Allocate your first skill points. After the door is closed, go to the room with the child at the request of the spouse. Play with the baby, click on the hanging rockets. When the robot calls you, then return to the living room and watch TV. Once the transmission is complete, run out through the doors and follow the green marker on the radar at the top of the screen. Soon you should reach the screen gate where the officer is standing. Talk to him until he misses you all. Go to the platform, which turns out to be an elevator, and watch the cut-scene.

The beginning of a nuclear catastrophe.

Follow the stairs up and approach the girl marked with a green marker, handing out Vault 111 overalls. After getting your overalls, follow the Vault-Tec doctor and activate the opened cryogenic chamber. Watch a long cut-scene, after which the first mission will begin.

Time is running out

Target. Leave Vault 111.

Go to your spouse's cell opposite and pull the red lever to open it. Take your soulmate off your finger wedding ring. The only way out of the room with cryogenic chambers leads to the corridor. Follow the other end of the corridor and click on the sliding door. Unfortunately, you can't open it right now. Open the sliding door on the side and follow the corridor. On the glass on the other side you will see the first enemy - a radioactive cockroach. Under the window on the box is a guard rod. Take it.

In the next room on the right there is something to profit from. Among other things, there is a stimulator on the table near the computer. Stimpaks in Fallout4 are no different from the same items in the previous part of the series. So, using a stimulant, you can restore up to 30% of maximum level health of the protagonist. If, for example, you have 50% health, then using a stimulant is pointless.

Return to the corridor and open another sliding door. Follow forward, and then go into the room on the left side, which is indicated by the marker. In the center there are huge gizmos with electrical energy. Move around the perimeter of the room clockwise. Kill the radioactive cockroaches and go through the new door.

In the room with the Overseer's desk, search everything around. On the table are stimulants, a 10mm pistol, cartridges for it, glasses and a tablet. But the most important thing you have to do: look at the computer on the table and select the line "Open the evacuation tunnel". Exit the computer and see the sliding doors opposite open. Go through them, killing radioactive cockroaches. Approach the dead scientist at the exit of Vault 111 and pick up the pip-boy. Now you have inventory, etc. Activate the panel next to the skeleton and wait for the Vault 111 doors to open. Follow through the door, go down and get into the elevator. Here is your last chance to change any settings or appearance Main character. Leave the shelter.

Target. Come back home.

Follow the marker on the map and the mini-radar to complete this task. It is best to cross the river on a wooden bridge, otherwise the character will be exposed to radiation. At the house you will see an old friend - your robot.

Target. Talk to Codsworth.

Chat with the robot about everything and find out what happened here. During the dialogue, the phrase highlighted yellow. If you choose this phrase and the required level of persuasion, you will receive additional experience points. In the future, similar situations will often arise in the dialogues. If you choose the phrase well, you can find out about caps or other valuable items that your interlocutors are hiding. Finish the dialogue with the robot.

Target. Search the area with Codsworth.

Follow the robot that will lead you to the blower house. Defeat the flying bugs, after which Codsworth will say that you need to fly to another house. Move there and kill the flying creatures again. Next, independently start a conversation with Codsworth, who will tell you that you need to search Concord.

Target. Check out Concorde.

Pay attention to the marks on your radar at the top of the screen. You need to move in that direction. By the way, there will be a river ahead, and you can get around it only on the bridge to the right. So do it and move along the road until you get additional task.

Additional goal. Say hello to the dog.

At the gas station you should see a dog. Say hello to her. Now she will be your companion, just like Codsworth.

Search the station, kill mole rats - another standard opponents. Follow to Concord and look around the city. You must get to the museum, near which there will be several raiders. Deal with the raiders, after which you will be asked to go inside the museum. The task on this will be completed, a new one will begin.

call of freedom

Target (optional). Take laser musket.

The laser musket will be lying around the corpse of one of the raiders. Why not pick it up? When using this weapon, press the R key several times to charge it and perform a more powerful shot.

Target. Enter the museum.

Just click on the door leading inside the museum and wait for the download to complete.

The battle with the raiders in the museum.

Target. Find settlers.

Clear the museum. Kill the opponents at the top, follow through the passage on the right to be at the other end of the first floor. Climb the stairs and deal with all the enemies. Only after none of the raiders are left alive will the door to the settlers' shelter open.

Talk about everything with Preston Garvey.

Target. Open the door.

Start a conversation with Technician Sturges. When he moves away from the computer, then enter it. You need to choose the correct password. In this case, it was the word CACHE. In general, the hacking system in the game looks like this: on the screen you see great amount characters, and some of them form words of five or more letters. You have four attempts to guess the password. Click on the words you see. If the password is found, then you will gain access to the computer. If the code is incorrect, you will hear an appropriate beep, and you will also see information on the screen about whether the selected word was similar to the password. If you failed to guess the password in four attempts, then you will need to take a walk for 10 seconds so that the terminal becomes available to you again.

Having hacked the terminal, select the line "Open the door", thereby completing the task.

Target. Get a nuclear block.

Follow to the indicated point and open the door. If you haven't used Sturges' computer, you can enter the terminal to the right of the door. Also, this door can be opened with a pin, if you have one. Pull out the nuclear block from the panel, the task will be updated.

Target. Insert nuclear block into power armor.

Return to the room with the guests of the museum, where you were before. Exit this room through the door at the other end and go to the marker. Open the door called "Commonwealth". You will find yourself on the street near the power armor. Approach it and press the E key.

Target. Wear power armor.

Press the E key again to get into the armor.

Target. Get a minigun.

Follow up the ruins and pick up the minigun.

Target. Clear Concord.

Move forward and kill the enemies you see. You can safely jump down from the roof, as power armor completely prevents damage from falls. In addition to the raiders in the city, you will need to kill a large mutant called the Deathclaw. Be sure to search all the corpses. As soon as all the raiders are dead, the task will be updated.

Deathclaw, one of the mutants spawned by the Nuclear Disaster.

Target. Report to Preston.

Just go back to the museum and talk to Preston Garvey about everything.

Target. Talk to Preston Garvey in the Sanctuary.

Follow back to your house near the shelter, which is in the northwest. There will be a marker here. But Preston is unlikely to get here before you. Open the map and you will see another marker - this is Preston moving into Sanctuary. You can go to meet him and talk. The task will end there. You can take a new task from Preston. Another side mission is for Sturges, who will be inside one of the Sanctuary's houses after you talk to Harvey Preston. At the same time, a new mission will begin - "The First Step".

Conversation with Sturge

Before moving on, look inside the house and talk to Sturge. Find out how you can help him, and he will say that the beds need to be repaired. In the courtyard of this house there is a workshop, a workbench and an armor service station. Since you're already here, be sure to repair your Power Armor to 100%. In order to do this, you need to leave the armor and repair each part of the suit separately. In this case, you will need to spend the items found.

Surely the charge of your core is almost at zero. Hardly in this moment you have another core on hand. If the charge drops, then movement is significantly slowed down, as well as the operation of the armor as a whole. Leave the armor in this place and move on without it. Before starting the next quest, don't forget to open the pip-boy and allocate skill points.

Preston Harvey.

First step

Target. Talk to the residents of Tenpines Bluff.

Set aside the Diamond City quest and head to the Tenpines Bluff settlement. Open the pip-boy and activate the "First Step" quest tracking. You can't fast travel to the settlement at the moment, so move there on foot. Follow the marker on the radar to the east.

Follow the main Sanctuary road and walk between the houses at the end of town. Further, the road will be blocked by a large lake. There is a small bridge to the left down the slope. Use it to cross the radioactive lake. Keep heading east near the water to get around the huge rocks.

When the lake is behind you, a high rusty fence will appear ahead. Approach it and make your way through the hole into the courtyard.

On the right side of the courtyard there is a small cabin in which you can find a lot of useful things. Among other things, stimulants. There is also a computer terminal and a workshop inside. Examine the worker's note. The terminal allows you to control the robot on the street. Leave the building and move to Tenpines Bluff using the marker. Pass the large satellite dish on the right and follow until you reach a new location.

Note the woman brandishing a gun. Talk to her about everything.

Target. Kill the raiders.

Your next task is to suppress the aggression of the raiders at the neighboring factory. Move south from the settlement using the marker. Climb down the slope, go through the railroad tracks, dealing with the enemies, and move under the overpass. Follow forward and, in the end, you will see a factory. Get closer and find yourself on the outskirts of Lexington. Despite the fact that you must clear the factory, you will have to deal with enemies on the streets of the city. Before entering the zone, check your inventory and equip best armor that they could only find.

When you complete the preparation, then go to the factory through the streets of the city. Proceed with caution as you may be attacked by humans, ghouls or animals. Continue south and eventually reach the north side of the plant. On the right side of the roof of the building, you can see a glowing sign. There should also be a small garage.

From here you can move to the right side and storm the factory entrance. Take the left side, moving east along the road. Pass by the first red car. Stop in front of the second lamp post on the left side and look ahead. You will see a small alley at the end of which there is a gate. Pass through these gates. Keep going forward and turn left, inside the broken pipe.

After passing to the next area, move along the pipe and be ready to kill the ghouls. When the path is clear, then go into the room on your left. Walk forward and to the left. Around the corner there is a small room with a bunch of useful items.

When you're ready to continue, go back and deal with the guards at the entrance. Follow along the passage, killing opponents. Crouch down on the top step and move to the right. There will be another place to the right, and an open door to the left. First, deal with the raider in the passage on the right, then go through the doorway on the left and deal with the enemies. There is a turret on the left side of the room.

Then return to the place where you dealt with the first raider and deal with the remaining invaders. When all the raiders are finished, then go to the end of the corridor and go into the room on the left. Climb up the stairs and go through the door on the left side. Follow the path and go down the stairs to the next room. Be ready to resist any raiders. Go through the blue door at the bottom of the stairs. On the left side there is an elevator door. Move south along the corridor and up the steps on the right.

Use the door at the end. Follow through the doorway on the left, where you will encounter several raiders. When the location has been cleared, then find a crack in the wall around the corner on the right and go forward. Deal with all the enemies and return to the elevator door. Climb the stairs to the right of the elevator door and move up the stairwell. When you reach the large room on the top floor, carefully go inside. There will be several opponents here. There are several guards on the main floor. There are also two turrets. Destroy all enemies to complete the current part of the task.

Target. Report the completion of the mission to the residents of Tenpines Bluff.

When the raiders are defeated, and the plant is cleared, it will be necessary to return to the inhabitants of Tenpines Bluff. Find the door under the exit sign on the east wall and head to the end. Activate the pip-boy, open the map, and then choose to fast travel to the settlement. When you get there, find the woman mentioned earlier and tell her about the successful completion of the mission. You will receive several caps and access to the workshop on the location.

Target. Talk to Preston Garvey.

To complete the current quest, travel to Sanctuary and find Preston Garvey. Talk to the man and report that the settlers have agreed to join them. You will receive a flare gun for this, which can be used to call for backup.

Continue the conversation with Preston and try to get more information about Quincy Massacre from him. Thank Preston and agree to help him.

Commonwealth Gem

Target. Go to Diamond City.

Now that you have a few more quests available, it's time to continue your search for your missing son. This place is located in the southeast. Fast travel is not available, so you have to walk. Make sure you have activated this quest. Open the map and move to Lexington. From here you can go straight south. Don't walk through the streets of Lexington as they are not safe, so move along the outskirts of the city. Using the marker on the map, move through the wasteland.

When you leave the city, you will probably see a message about the discovery of the military frequency AF95, after which an entry with a fire support quest will appear in the journal. Head south down the slope until you reach the river. Find a nearby bridge and cross it across the river.

You will see a brewery ahead. You can go through the blue door and explore the building inside, but the main quest requires you to move towards Diamond City. It's not long to go - follow the southeast. Follow the marker on the map and soon you will reach a hill from which you can see Diamond City. Go down the slope and continue southeast, keeping to the river bank on the left.

Soon you will reach a low green building on the outskirts of the city. There is a road to the south of the building. Head east down the street, cross the bridge ahead (there is still a red car under the bridge) and keep going until you reach an overturned truck. From here, follow the road to the right, south, approaching the marker. Soon you will have a signal from the radio tower. Open the pip-boy and tune the radio frequency to the appropriate wave. You will hear a distress signal from a man named Rex Goodman, who was captured by the mutants. The magazine will show new quest.

Go forward to the big wall that encloses the baseball stadium. Walk to the right and head west. You need to move along the wall of the stadium, so you will need to turn south soon. Soon you will see graffiti indicating the direction of Diamond City. Continue south and go under the tall forests across the road. When you're on the other side, turn to the left and approach the woman. When the woman is finished talking, she will turn around and start talking to you. Tell Piper that you want to get into Diamond City, after which the person "on the intercom" will open the gate. End the conversation and go into the building.

Target. Find information about Sean.

Ask the mayor and Piper what they are arguing about. Tell them that you are looking for a missing person, your son. You will be directed to a detective agency located nearby. As soon as the conversation ends, a new quest will be added to the journal.

The most powerful power armor.

Target. Go to the Valentine Detective Agency.

Go to the Valentine Agency somewhere in the depths of the city. Look at the guarded entrance marked on the map, then go through it and up the steps on the other side. And only now a message will appear stating that you have discovered Diamond City.

You will see several huts and tents that are Diamond City. Climb down the stairs and move to the center of the area. The Valentine Detective Agency is located in the northeast, where, in principle, the marker points. Walk through the streets and stop as soon as you get to the weapon shop ahead. A new goal will be added to your journal quest entries - to explore the combat zone.

Advice! It is worth spending a few minutes exploring the market, where you can get several new quests at once: investigate witchcraft in the museum and much more.

When you cross the river, turn right and follow the road to the east. Go behind the pile of tires and turn left into the square in front of the ruins. Tune in to a radio frequency, then open the pip-boy and select the radio menu. Select the battle signal option and tune in to a short sound. Close your pip-boy and keep going.

Target. Use radio frequency to track the target.

Your next task is to roam the area in search of the Institute. As you get closer to the target, the radio will start beeping. Move south and return to the embankment. Turn left and follow the road that goes east along the river on the right. On the road you will see a yellow-red sign. Approach him and organize an ambush. Once you've dealt with the monsters, continue east and turn left until you reach the sign. Keep moving north until you find new location. Climb the stairs leading to the large green building on the left, then go inside.

Target. Kill the hunter.

When you enter the building, turn off the radio to get rid of the annoying signal. Go west, in the reception area, search the corpse on the table. Next, go through the archway in the wall to the north and follow the passage to the west, up the steps. At the top of the stairs, take the door on the right side and continue along the path. Go through the archway to the west and go to the next location. You will be ambushed, so make your way back through the archway and take cover while killing the enemies. There are two turrets here, so be careful. Deal with them before killing ordinary bandits.

When the location is cleared, then go through the archway in the west on the upper level and take the right side. Follow the corridor that leads to the east and eliminate the enemies you encounter. Go to the first room on the left and collect supplies. Return to the corridor, then continue forward. Climb the ladder and deal with the enemies. Then take to the left, go down the corridor and enter the room on the right. Head to the left side and eliminate the enemies in the corridor. Turn left at the end and go up the ramp. At the top of the slope you will see a doorway leading to the street.

There are several raiders behind the doorway. Go through it and quickly run down the path leading to the door at the end. Kill the opponents, then go left, moving along the corridor. When you get to the kitchen, go through the door on the right. On the other side, you will see a locked door ahead. Open it and collect bottle caps and weapons. When you're done, return to the corridor and head south. Go through the door and turn left. Don't go up the ramp just yet. There will be a balcony with several enemies, among which there is an enemy armed with a rocket launcher.

Throw a grenade or Molotov cocktail there, then climb up and deal with the remaining opponents. Next, go through the doorway at the top of the slope and turn left. Eliminate the other enemies and go through the doorway to the south. Go left and pick up the fallen rocket launcher. Follow the corridor to the right. Head north and at the crossroads go left. Run to the passage to hide from the turret.

Follow through the doorway at the end of the path and take the right side. When you get to the debris blocking the path, enter the room on the left side and move through it to the right to be on the other side of the barrier. Take care of the raiders that will appear from the doorway to the north, then go forward along the corridor. Next, go to the right side and exit to the balcony. Follow through the doorway on the left and up the stairs. When you get to the upper level, go up the stairs to the left.

Go west down the corridor and note the door on the left. Follow the ramp down, search the corpse and unlock the ammo box. Go through the door mentioned earlier and deal with the opponents. Before going through the door to the south, go west and unlock the door on the left. Inside there will be ammunition, medical supplies, a safe in the wall and a computer terminal. Hack the turret and unlock the safe in the wall on the left. Clean out the safe and leave the room.

Return along the corridor to the east, approach the door on the right. Follow behind the car to hide from the laser. Please note that using the terminal on the table you can disable and enable the turrets. Go through the door to the south and kill the enemies. Take cover in the room to the left, if necessary, and lure the opponents down the stairs to come one at a time. When the room is cleared, then go to the elevator and press the button.

When you get to the next floor, then move along the corridor and enter the room at the end. There is a master-level terminal up ahead that can be used to access the cage in the center of the room. Go through the door to the north and head up the stairs. At the top, turn left, then open the door on the right. Go through it, hack the terminal in the southwest corner of the room to open the security door.

Next, hack the terminal in the southeast and open the security door on the left side. Go through it, search the room to return to the main area. Pass through recently open door on South. Climb up the stairs in the center of the room. At the very top, go through the door to the north and talk to Z2-47. Like Kellogg, the next enemy can turn invisible. He is also able to regenerate health over time. But killing him is pretty easy if you are well prepared.

Use first aid kits and stimpacks to increase your health, as well as various boosts to increase damage and armor. Hide behind the doorway to the south or behind the pillar in the center of the room. Shoot at the enemy, throw fragmentation grenades and Molotov cocktails. Don't forget to use the rocket launcher found at the beginning of the level. After the enemy finally becomes visible, turn on VATS and attack him with everything you have in stock. Kill the enemy.

Target. Restore chip.

Next, approach the killed enemy and search his body, most importantly, capturing the chip. This will end the current quest and start a new task. There are a few more things you can do at the location before continuing.

First, take the password from the toolboxes by the stairs in the northern part of the room. Approach the terminal on the east wall. Use it to activate the nearest elevator. Open the security door. Head inside and approach K1-98 (or Jenny) at the end of the room. After she thanks for the help, you can continue the study.

Return to the area where you fought the boss and go up the stairs to the north. Pick up the weapon and go to the terminal on the left, on the top step. Use the door remote control to open the door on your right. Collect supplies and open the map in pip-boy.

Molecular level

Target. Analyze the chip.

Follow the path to the left of the gun shop and return to Memory's Dan. Dr. Amari will be able to study the information on the chip. So go to her and talk about everything. After she asks you about your adventures in the Glowing Sea, then tell her that you managed to get help from Virgil. Amari will say that she does not know how to hack the chip, but she will point the direction of a group that could help with this. Ask about the organization, and hear the code phrase "Follow the Path of Freedom." Try to find out more about this organization and the mysterious Underground, and then say goodbye to Amari.

Target. Find the Underground.

You may remember hearing about the "Freedom Path Underground" earlier in the game. The robot tour guide was talking about her near Park Street station. Then an additional task "Follow the Path of Freedom" appeared in your journal. It's time to make it happen! Open your pip-boy and quickly move to the Boston Cammon location.

One of the varieties of robots that you will encounter in Fallout 4.

Target. Follow the Path of Freedom.

When you get to your destination, follow the road north, dealing with any enemies in the area. Have Boston Cammon on your left. Go a little forward and you will see a fountain and a tour guide bot. If you have not talked to them before, then go up to him and start a conversation. Ask the robot about the freedom road and you will be told to follow the red path through the streets of the city. After talking with the guide bot, look at the fountain and find the phrase: "To the end of the path, follow the Liberty Lantern."

Target. Continue on the Path of Freedom.

Directly below the sign you will find a marker of the Path of Freedom. Look at it and look for a red line on the ground leading to Boston Cammon. Follow the line out of the park, then follow it north. The line passes through Park Street station and heads northwest. Soon it crosses the road, taking you to Massachusetts Headquarters. Examine the next marker on the ground and continue following the line as it moves back down the road.

Almost immediately, the line will pass under an abandoned car and return to the Park Street station again, but this time it will follow the right side of the road. Follow the line that turns north. You will have to kill any opponents that get in the way. Check another mark behind the bus on the right side before continuing tracking.

Keep going forward until you are at the foot of the red tower, then go to the right side. Ahead you will see a sign pointing towards the place where Dr. Amari lives. You have already been there. After the line crosses the road on the right, you will notice the next marker. Examine it to see another piece of code.

When you're ready to continue, turn left at the crossroads and follow the road north. Climb up the slope ahead and go down the other side, killing all opponents. If you kill the nearby Legendary Ghoul (Ghoul) Stalker, you will be rewarded with the ability to transfer unlimited amount pistol cartridges.

After going down, turn right and find another marker. Check it out, then follow the line that goes east. Head up the stairs ahead and get ready to face some ghouls. When the location is cleared, then continue to move east, and then go down another ladder. Be careful, because next you have to face a super mutant and a mutated dog.

When you are at the building on the right side, you will be ambushed by several super mutants. One of them is a suicidal mutant who will try to run closer to you and explode. Run away from him and shoot using the VATS system to see which of his hands is vulnerable. When it is finished with him, then eliminate the remaining villains, and then examine the marker on the statue. Finally, follow the line that moves along the right side of the building.

Take a left at the end of the alley and continue following the line that heads north. Walk a little forward, cross the road and start moving east. Follow the line that goes north and look at the marker ahead. Please note that there are several more super mutants and mutated dogs at the location. So get ready to fight! After the street is cleared, continue on, keeping close to the line that goes to the west. Go around the statue ahead and look at the last marker near the old North Church.

This is the end of the Freedom Trail, where there is another clue for you: 1 - R, 2 - A, 3 - I, 4 - L, 5 - R, 6 - O, 7 - A, 8 - D. It looks like you are in the right place. Enter inside the old North Church ahead to continue your journey.

Target. Find the Freedom Trail.

Inside the church, go through the hole in the wall and enter a large chamber filled with ghouls. Clear the location from the enemies and find the door on the right side of that same hole. Follow through the door, pick up the first aid kit on the left side and go down the steps at the end of the passage. At the bottom, turn right and follow the tunnel to the west.

Destroy the Ghoul who will attack you and go to the very end of the corridor. Continue north after dealing with the last ghoul and find the Liberty Loop on the wall on the right side. Your next task is to move around the ring clockwise and counterclockwise, entering the code word RAILROAD. Align each of the letters with the arrow and press the center button to eventually open the secret door. The button must be pressed each time you hover over the desired letter.

Are we flying?

Go through the door and go down the stairs at the end of the corridor. When the woman in front starts a conversation, move closer until you see dialogue options. Explain that you are not her enemy and that Dr. Amari sent you. Next, tell her your story. When, finally, Desdemona introduces herself, then ask her about the "Underground". This will complete the next part of the "Find the Underground" quest.

Climb the stairs to the east and follow Desdemona down the hallway. Go through the door at the very end to access the Railroad HQ. On the other side, go down the stairs and approach Desdemona on the right. When she informs you that the group will help on the condition that you give them the chip. Tell Desdemona she can take the chip. Once you know everything you need to know, get ready to head back to Virgil at the Glowing Sea.

Target. Return to Virgil.

Put the high radiation protection suit on the main character and repeat your way out of the church until you are outside. Next, open the map in the pip-boy and quickly move to the cave far to the southwest. Upon arrival, go inside the cave to reach Virgil's lab.

Follow along the passage and talk to Virgil. Tell him that you have the code and tell him that the Underground group helped you crack the chip. Virgil will say that next you need to catch the teleportation signal from the Institute in order to get inside. Finish the conversation with Virgil.

Target. Get help setting up a signal.

After the conversation is over, you will need help with assembling Virgil's device. Three additional tasks will be added to the journal: talk to the Railroad group, talk to the Minutemen, and talk to the Brotherhood of Steel.

In order to complete the current quest, you must go to one of these factions for help and complete the introductory quest if you haven't done so already. In this passage, the choice was made in favor of the "Underground". Although you can go to the Minutemen or the Brotherhood of Steel.

Purpose (optional). Talk to Underground.

When you're ready to discuss Virgil's device with the Underground, exit the cave and fast travel to the old North Church. Enter the building and move down the crypt to find Desdemona. Talk to her about everything. Tell her to move on. Finish the conversation to complete the "Freedom's Path" quest and add a new one to your journal. story mission. Desdemona will agree to help you on the condition that you help Deacon first.

undercover work

Target. Talk to Deacon.

Approach Deacon and ask him what is required of you. Next, assure him that you will keep the existence of the Underground a secret from the Institute. Ask what the Railroad needs from you and tell Deacon you're interested in helping him.

Target. Meet Deacon on the old highway.

When you're ready to help the Underground, leave the crypt and exit the old North Church. Take off your radiation protection suit and put on your favorite combat suit. Your next destination is the old highway, which is west of Lexington. Open your pip-boy, go to the map tab and quickly travel to Lexington. Upon arrival, move to the southwest and find the overpass.

Talk to him about everything and say that in disguise you almost did not recognize him. After he explains the purpose of your mission, try to find out more detailed information. Tell him to move on.

Target. Follow Deacon and find the "tourist".

When the conversation is over, follow Deacon to the east. Climb to the roof of the abandoned bus and move along the overpass. Keep heading east and be prepared to run into a couple of ferocious ghouls near the big pile of tires on the right side. Other ghouls will attack you from the rear the moment you pass the bus. Deal with all opponents before resuming the search. A little further on, you will notice Ricky, the "tourist", looking out into the desert. Talk to him on various topics and name the password "Subway". Ask Ricky to tell you more about the shafts and the chrome dome. Thank him for his help to complete the task.

Target. Talk to Deacon.

Next, go back and talk to Deacon. Ask why he lied to Ricky. Next, say that you are not sure that Ricky is telling the truth. Deacon will say that you need to take Ricky's word for it. Learn more about exiting the tunnel, then agree that the tunnel is the safest option.

Target. Get inside the tunnel.

Return along the road to the west and get to the surface. Then head northeast, using the marker on the map as a compass. Soon you will reach the edge of the ditch and you will see a pipe below. Climb down and go through the pipe. There will be a door ahead that you need to use to get into the sewers.

Target. Obtain Prototype Carrington.

Inside, talk to Deacon and learn more about the prototype. Let him know that you are ready to go. Follow him down the corridor. Wait for Deacon to hack the terminal, then go through the newly opened security gate on the right side. Go forward along the corridor and when you get to the metal road, turn right. Climb down the slope and be prepared to face several opponents. When you deal with them, then continue to move forward. Turn left, follow the water and enter the illuminated corridor. Follow through it with Deacon and step onto the path on the right. Access the terminal at the end of the corridor and turn off the turrets and searchlights.

Then step back a little along the path and move to the very end. Go down the stone steps and get ready to fight the enemy group. If you have a frag grenade, you can throw it into the corridor. When the path is clear, go east and follow the path. Eventually, you will reach a broken pipe. Look inside and deal with the enemies. Then enter the pipe and move to its end. Activate stealth mode and slowly move forward so that opponents in the next room do not notice you. Turn right, find a computer terminal and hack it to open a security door nearby.

Enter the southwest room and go through the blue double doors. Eliminate opponents quickly and take a few minutes to collect useful items. On the ground floor you will find a cooking station and some beds (you can lie down to restore your health). There is an ammo box in the room to the northwest. When you're ready to continue, head up the stairs to the southwest and enter the room at the very top. There is an "expert" level terminal on the central table. Another terminal is near the door to the southwest. If you have the appropriate qualifications, then hack the second one to disable the laser traps along the corridor. Then go through the door.

When you get to the crossroads ahead, remember the room on the left side where there are opponents. Do not rush to go there, but turn right, picking up medicines in the toilet at the end of the corridor. Destroy opponents who will surely hear you. Once the path is safe, continue on and go through the closed door near the bathrooms and clear out the nearby ammo store. Next, return to the corridor and enter the room described earlier. Go through the door on the right and follow the corridor leading to the left, to Department X. The corridor that goes to the right side leads to the room with the databases.

First, enter the database room and access the research terminal on the center table. Once you've read the magazines, go to the terminal on the southwest wall. Hack it and unlock the security door. Now you can enter the room in the northwest and pick up useful items. After you collect supplies, then return to the corridor and go through the door of department "X". Enter the room at the end and deal with the opponents. Once all the enemies have been defeated, Deacon will start hacking into the nearest terminal, which will open up a large vault on the southeast wall. When the passage is opened, you will automatically receive a fantastic weapon.

Target. Leave the place.

Before leaving the complex, clear the room outside the vault, and head back down the corridor. Take a left at the crossroads and move along the passage marked "exit". Please note that there are mines here. Blow them up, shoot them out firearms. Do this before moving on. When the location is cleared, then go up the stairs and go through the door at the end of the corridor.

On the other side, deal with the opponents and go to the metal stairs. Find the terminal on the left side of the red pillar and use it to turn on the elevator and turn off the turret system. Continue east to the end of the path. Press the call button for the elevator to arrive. Enter it and rise to the ground level. Climb up the stairs behind the cabinet blocking the path and exit through the door on the right.

Target. Meet Deacon near the old North Church.

When you get to the bottom of the stairs, open your pip-boy and quickly travel to the old North Church. Enter the building and go down the crypt until you reach the Railroad base. You will arrive on time and hear the end of the dialogue between Desdemona and Deacon. When Desdemona asks if Deacon's story is true or not, decide what to say. Agree to join a faction. Pick a codename you like and the quest will come to an end.

A new faction quest will be added to the journal. However, it is optional for the main storyline. Instead, follow Desdemona down the hallway to the Railroad HQ. This point will now be available as a fast travel location.

Approach Desdemona and she will agree to help you with story quest"Molecular Level". Tell her about everything and, in the end, Desdemona will offer you help. Please note that the next mission objective will be different depending on which faction you decide to join. In this passage, as described above, main character joined the faction "Underground".

Target. Talk to Tom.

Find Tom nearby and talk to him. Ask him if he can build a car. You will learn that building requires a safe house with a workshop. By this time, you should already have such a house. Therefore, go there and create the necessary platform.

safe house

Leave the Headquarters of the Railroad, go back through the crypt and get out. Your next destination is north of Lexington. Open the pip-boy, go to the map and fast travel to Lexington. Then follow the marker to the north. Approach the big blue screen and climb over the fence to access a parking lot full of cars.

When you get to the parking lot, two messages will appear at the same time. Move north towards the blue tower in the center of the parking lot, and eliminate the opponents who are attacking you. After the location is cleared, find a small blue hut on the northwestern outskirts of the parking lot. Remove the lock, go inside and activate the workbench. In order to complete the safe house mission, you must fortify the area by 100%.

Molecular level (continued)

When you are ready to focus on the main goal of the storyline, then go to the workbench, open it and go to the special menu. Choose a reflective platform. Find a place to install it outside and build it to complete one of the important stages of the project.

Target. Talk to Tom.

After the reflective platform is set, return to Tom. Open the pip-boy, go to the map and quickly move to the headquarters. Talk to Tom and tell him that the platform is ready. You will learn that you need to find three special items - a circuit (board), a sensor module and a biometric scanner. Three new tasks will appear in the magazine at once.

Target. Build an emitter, relay and control console.

If you are lucky, then right now you will have in your inventory all the necessary items that you could find during the game. If not, then study the three new additional objectives in the journal. To find the printed circuit board, you need to search military installations.

You can find sensor modules at telecom stations, and you can find a biometric scanner in hospitals. Each goal will point you to one or another place where the missing item is located. Visit the Milton Hospital, Coast Guard Pier, and Federal Supply Depot, which will appear on the map.

To get started, open up your pip-boy, go to the map tab, and quickly travel to the car park (or where you built the reflector). Open the workbench and note that the emitter, relay and control console have been added to the special menu. If you already have all the necessary resources, then make them and connect the power.

If you are still missing any components, then visit each of the three places described above. When you collect, then return to the reflector and build the necessary parts.

Target. Power up the signal interceptor.

After the construction of the signal interceptor is completed, you need to power each of the elements separately. If you have reached the first level of science, then consider developing generators, each of which can provide 10 units of energy. Build small generators to power the machine.

Target. Talk to Desdemona.

When the signal interceptor starts working, then find Desdemona nearby and talk to her. Ask her for the Patriot. Agree to become a faction agent to end the conversation.

Target. Use a signal interceptor.

When you're ready to continue, stand on the signal interceptor and wait for the teleportation to teleport to the Institute. Once you reach your destination, the Molecular Level quest will come to an end. A new quest will appear in the journal. It's time to find the protagonist's son!

closed institution

Now that you've finally made it to the Institute, Sean's search has reached its final stage. Immediately get out of the teleportation chamber and move east. You will hear a voice asking you to use the elevator. Soon the final task of the final storyline will be activated. Please note that you can fulfill your faction's wishes and upload an encrypted message to the Institute's terminal at any time. However, you must first hear what the unfamiliar voice is telling you.

Target. Enter the elevator.

At the bottom of the stairs, go to the lift platform. The door will close automatically, after which the elevator will begin to descend into the depths of the complex. You will hear a story about the Institute and learn that this man knows why you came here. When the elevator stops, go east down the corridor. At the end of the passage, go to the next elevator and press the button. When the elevator reaches its destination, then go into the room ahead and approach the boy behind the glass. Start a conversation and tell the boy about everything.

Talk to the man and ask where Sean is. When Sean's "Father" tells who he really is, then continue the conversation. Agree to join the Institute so that you can explore the complex.

Target. Meet the division leaders.

When the conversation comes to an end, Father will tell you that you are to meet with the Institute's four division leaders: Clayton Holdren, Ellie Fillmore, Justin Ayo, and Madison Lee. Go through the doors behind the Father and go up the steps on the right side. Upstairs, go to the bathroom in front and pick up useful items.

Then return to the top step and head south. Get the password to Sean's terminal from the wall locker in the office, then take the first aid kit. Find the terminal on the right side and use the password to access it. Read Sean's entries and note that you are not able to turn off the synthetics.

The process of creating Synthetics.

When you're ready to continue, follow the doorway to the east and head down the stairs. Ahead you will see Dr. Ellie Fillmore (dressed in a yellow suit) talking to a Synthetic. Approach the doctor and, as soon as she finishes the conversation with the synthetic, talk to her about everything. When the conversation is over, look around. You'll find a synthetic behind a counter on the left side selling weapons, armor, and other supplies. The door to the west will lead you to the Institute's central intersection, from where you can easily access any of the complex's four wings.

Once you're ready to continue, head back to the bottom of the stairs and enter the tunnel to the north. Turn right into the laboratory. Follow the corridor and enter the large round hall ahead. Dr. Holden, a scientist dressed in a green suit, must be somewhere nearby. Most likely, it is located at the terminals on the left side. Approach Holden and talk about everything. When he asks if you want to join the Institute, answer yes. Only after that he will answer all your questions. End the conversation and get ready to look for the next "co-founder".

Before you leave the location, behind the partition to the north, find the master terminal. Then go to the door in the northeast. Behind the door, you can find a terminal set on a table with useful files. Search the lockers to the northeast, go up the stairs on the left side and clear the next room where the medical supplies are. When you're done, leave the lab.

Return to the corridor, take the right side and go down the slope. At the bottom, keep going forward and follow the blue line towards the Advanced Systems Lab. At the top of the slope, take the right side and enter the laboratory. Once inside, wait for the scientist to come out of the room on the left side and take the ammo. Read the research notes on the terminals to the east and northeast. When you're done, go through the door to the northeast and talk to Dr. Madison Lee, who is wearing a blue suit.

Find out about the department, and the doctor will offer to install the same chip in your pip-boy, which will allow you to quickly move to the Institute of your own free will. Agree and end the conversation by choosing the remaining phrases.

Next, leave the Advanced Systems Lab and head down the slope on the right side. Take the medicines from the table on the left and move along the next slope. Run along black line to the laboratory of synthetics. At the top of the slope, take the right side and enter the laboratory. Inside, follow the corridor ahead and behind the glass on the right side you will see the last scientist dressed in a black suit. When he moves to the next room, follow him and start a dialogue. Learn about everything and, in the end, end the conversation.

Target. Use a network scanner.

Before leaving the lab, explore the area and find the terminal on a nearby table. Read about the activities of the Institute, select "Download a hologram". Select a scanner and start the process to complete the current job. Please note that if you select the "copy encrypted message" option, you will complete the "Underground" faction quest. On the other hand, you can join the Institute.

After the story quest is completed, you will be able to fast travel to the Institute. In addition, a quest related to synthetics will be added to the journal. This is the first of the Institute's faction quest line. From now on, you can continue completing additional and faction quests. Please note that completing orders from one faction worsens your relationship with another. Then you will need to choose one of the factions, after which you will be close to the ending of Fallout 4.

Detention

Go to the Father and talk to him. You need to meet a character who is located north of Libertalia, located in the eastern part of the map. When you are in place, then perhaps the character you need will already be in battle. Talk to him and tell him that you are ready to start attacking the raider camp. The rest of the mission is pretty simple. Move through the location, killing raiders and collecting loot. When you go through the door that leads to the captain's cabin, then raise the gun right in front of you. This legendary weapon don't forget it.

Move around the corner on the right. Go through the door to face the robber. When you enter the room, deal with the enemies. Make a decision on how to deal with the captain, then search the location and return to the Father. After you talk to him, he will say that a room has been prepared for you. Go into it and inspect the room. When this is done, the quest will end and a new task will begin.

Battle of Bunker Hill

Talk to the Father, who will tell you about the stolen synthetics. You will have to go to the Bunker Hill location, where you will need to find and return these synthetics. Go there and meet with an ally. When you talk to him, the battle will begin. It will be a long and difficult fight. The Brotherhood of Steel will appear. Do your best to stay out of the way, at a safe distance. Let the synthetics do most of the work for you. The Brotherhood of Steel is a formidable foe, with a large army that includes powerful captains and sergeants with machine guns and Gatling lasers. You will need to hit the strange character whenever possible.

After the battle comes to an end, you will find a red door on one side of the square to enter the camp. Inside, the fight will continue. Again, follow the same pattern as before. You will need to hit the strange character again when possible. Ultimately, you will again have to talk to the Father. Decide the fate of the four runaway synthetics and return to the Father. It is not necessary to return to the Institute to talk with him. Move to C.I.T. Inside the building, you will probably need to fight a little. Climb to the roof where you can find the Father. This will complete the task.

The new face of humanity

Get inside the Institute and go to the meeting point. Listen to the conversation of the people present, then talk to the Father again. After that, the mission will end, and the next task will automatically begin.

Mass Fusion

Follow down the stairs to talk to Ellie about her father. She will tell you about a plan to get a special item that will speed up the assembly process. nuclear reactor. Move to a destination where you cannot fast travel yet. When you are there, the game will warn you that this decision will make you a permanent enemy of the Brotherhood of Steel. Complete any Brotherhood of Steel missions before you take this step.

After you do this, you will find yourself at the desired location for the current quest. Fight with several representatives of the Brotherhood of Steel, collect the passwords in the table. Now move to the computer terminal marked with a marker and use the received codes. Read the notes to find out that the required item is underground. Enter the elevator in the center of the main room and use it to go down.

While you are moving down the elevator, you will be attacked by opponents. There is little cover here, so be prepared to use a lot of first aid kits. When you find yourself at the bottom, then go into the room on the left side to find the key. Before using the key, after leaving the room, go to the right side. Through a pile of debris, you can get into a room with a switch. Toggle it to reactivate the elevator and collect loot. Use the key on the next door of the room and go inside to find a hole in the ground through which you can enter the levels below.

When exploring the lower levels, take your time, collecting useful items and looking around. There are no important items, but there is a huge amount of ammunition and other things that you may be interested in and need. When you're ready to continue, find the elevator located on the lowest level. After you get there, Ellie will tell you that she will wait for you while you explore the rooms.

You must enter the core. However, before doing this, go to a small room nearby and pick up a suit that protects against radiation. The fact is that as soon as you enter the core, the radiation level will be equal to 20 rad / sec. Use the side passage and press the button to go inside. Wait for the cycle to end.

Once you are inside the core, go to the main console and press the button. Take the agitator, which will lead to blocking. Destroy the turrets and then leave this place the same way you came here. Click on the button. When you leave, the decontamination process will remove all the radiation levels from you, so you won’t have to use medicines.

As soon as the door opens, you will encounter a security bot. He has a huge supply of health, and in itself it is quite large. Use any doors to keep your distance from him. After its destruction, you can leave the location. However, the Brotherhood of Steel will attack you again. Kill everyone, collect supplies and earn experience. When the area is cleared, then move to the door marked on the map, which will lead you outside. Use fast travel to return to the Institute and talk to Ellie. On this, this quest will end, simultaneously launching a new mission.

important mission

Go and talk to the Father. He will tell you about the team that was sent to find Wallace, but ended up in trouble. Move quickly to the indicated location where you will face some enemies defending the location. After dealing with them, go inside the house to find your informant Enrico.

After talking with him, go to the door that leads to Wallace. Talk to him through this door. Your ultimate goal is to convince him. Enrico will say something to you, which will lead to the end of the current quest and the start of a new quest.

launch

Return to the Institute and talk to the Father. He will say that you should write down the message. During recording, you can choose from various options. Then talk to the Father again.

Here is the correct schema:

Buttons on the left side.
- Dials in the center.
- Pipes on the right side.

After everything is turned on, return to the Father and report this. It is located in the reactor area. Turn on the reactor when you're ready and talk to the Father. You will need to attend the meeting. Move there. You will talk to the directors and make some long-term decisions. When the conversation ends, the quest will be completed. A new task will begin.

cut ties

Move to the reactor area and talk to the Father. He will say that you must eliminate all allies who helped you get here. If you answer yes, then you have to fight them. This means that you need to end the connection with the "Underground". Follow to the place and destroy everyone. It will be a very tough fight. Be aware of the traps in the hall. When you destroy everyone, then go back and talk to the Father. This quest will end and a new one will begin.

airship crash

After talking with the Father, talk to Dr. Li. You will be informed about the next task. You have to face the Brotherhood of Steel and their robot Liberty Prime. When you're ready, move to the place. Go through the door. Once inside, clear the area and move to the upper level. There will be a whole group of people here, as well as several generators. When you see them, destroy them as quickly as possible. Synthetics will help you in this matter.

After destroying two generators in the location, enter the elevator and go upstairs to the third generator. Destroy him too. There are several turrets and a Protectron that protect the generator. Kill them. Now you need to follow to Liberty Prime, which is located outside, at ground level. When you're there, the synthetics will start hacking the robot. Now you must protect him. Get ready for another massive battle. A combat airship will fly at the top. Use covers to hide and attack him at the same time.

The explosion of the airship of the Brotherhood of Steel.

Try to stay close to the robot. When the hack is 100% complete, the robot will destroy the Brotherhood's airship. You will teleport a short distance from where you can enjoy the picture.

family split

Return to the Institute and talk to the Father. This is the main story line It will be completed. Recall that the game has several endings. This walkthrough describes the ending for the Institute..

How to complete the "Closed Institution" quest. This is the last quest from the main story, after which you will have to make a choice which side to take.

Step into the signal interceptor we've gathered from and wait for the device to teleport you to the Institute. cannot enter the Institute, they stay outside and join you when you go outside.

You ended up at the "Institute", and it seems the search for your son is almost over. As soon as you teleport and look around the unusual environment of new shiny things, you will be addressed by a voice over the speakerphone. He will say that he has been waiting for you for a long time and will offer to use the elevator at the end of the room. At this point, the quest "Closed Institution" will begin.

The elevator is in front. Take advantage of it. As you move, you will hear a voice that will tell you about the "Institute". When the elevator doors open, go forward along the corridor to the next elevator. Use it. Finally, you will reach a room where there is a room with a glass section in which a boy is sitting with his back to you. Start a conversation with him. When you ask about the "Father", the dialogue will end and the head of the "Institute" will appear, who will turn off the boy, who turned out to be a synth. Talk to the "Father" - that's how he calls himself.

The "father" will tell you that he is your son, that he grieves for the death of his mother, who, but does not remember this moment, since he was a baby. You can say that this is nonsense and demand to explain what is happening. Listen to your son, this is the truth. You will learn all about synths, ongoing research, the history of the Institute and the reasons for everything that happened to you. At the end of the conversation, "Father" will offer you to join the ranks of the Institute. Accept his offer to explore the entire complex.

"Father" will invite you to communicate with the four chief scientists of the Institute, who are in charge of different areas of development. First, go into the room behind him and go up the stairs. There you will find a bathtub with studs and antiradin. In general, the Institute is full of various good things - from brand new things that can be dismantled into trash for crafting, to first-aid kits with stimulants and antiradin.

Return to the room where you saw the boy. Go through the door opposite the "Father" room and go down the stairs. On the lower floor you will find Dr. Ellie Fillmore (she has yellow clothes), talk to her. After that, look around and you will see a synth behind a counter that sells armor, weapons, and other useful items.

Buy the necessary supplies and go to the heart of the "Institute", from where you can easily get to any wing of the complex. Have you seen green trees in Fallout 4? Here they are.

Now head to the bioscience department and look for Dr. Holden. She has green clothes. Talk to her, and when you hear everything you wanted, end the conversation. In this section, you should pay attention to the terminal with a high level of protection leading to the old laboratory of Virgil. Here you can also find a regular terminal where interesting records are stored.

After that, go to the department of higher systems. In order not to get lost, follow the marker and find Dr. Lee. She has blue clothes. The Doctor will install a special chip in your Pip-Boy, which will allow you to freely teleport to the "Institute". Remember this doctor if you play on the side of the Brotherhood of Steel.

After getting acquainted with all the managers, return to the "Father" and the "Closed Institution" quest will be completed. Now you can easily move to the Institute through the Pip-Boy. You will also receive the first task from the "Institute" called "Detention".

Now you need to complete the task of scanning the Institute's network, if you have not already done so. The task was given to you by the technician of the faction to whom you gave the drawings for building a teleport in the previous chapter of the walkthrough. Find the nearest terminal, load the holotape into it and start scanning. At the end of the process, collect the data. It doesn't matter who you give this data to - at any time they can be attributed to .

Now you can go to one more place, but this is not necessary. Remember when we did , Virgil asked us to retrieve the FEV serum from his old lab? To do this, you need to get into the closed part of the Institute, which is located in the department of bioscience. The laboratory can be accessed either through a terminal with a very high level of hacking, or through a simpler door in the adjacent storage rooms. Inside the laboratory, there is nothing particularly interesting: a lot of turrets and dead cats, an assault gun is walking around, and modifications for weapons are in the warehouse.

When you pick up the serum in the laboratory, take it to Vergil so that he becomes human again. After giving the medicine, look to him in a few days. After Vergil's recovery, you can take whatever you want in his laboratory cave. Although there is nothing special to take there, but we promised to help him ...

After you have explored the Cambridge Police Station and taken everything you wanted (see the previous playthrough "Fire Support" for what you can find there). Approach the paladin Dans and report readiness for the operation.

Follow Paladin Dance

Paladin Dance has asked you to accompany him to Arkjet Systems. They hope to get a shortwave transmitter there that can be used to repair the Brotherhood communications station.

On the way, he will tell you that the Brotherhood has become not the first time on the territory of the Commonwealth. This way you will learn a little more about who you want to join.

But do not flatter yourself, you will definitely meet some kind of ill-wisher. However, you are lucky here, Paladin Dance is good in combat and his equipment is the same.

Talk to Paladin Danse

Looks like someone has been here before you. But who? Danse is concerned, as they appear to be Institute synths.

Follow Paladin Dance

Open the door

For this you can:

  • Hack the laboratory control terminal yourself and open the door.
  • Or use the laboratory assistant's terminal (the one on the left in the screenshot below), then click on the automatic password change, get the password from the laboratory control terminal (respectively, the one on the right) and open the door.

Provide fire support to Paladin Dans

Beware, be prepared to come face to face with the synths who are behind the closed door. Deal with them.

Go after Dans, he still needs your help. However, if you suddenly fall behind, there is a chance that he will manage on his own. You can take a look at this place.

When you pass through the gap and deal with the second batch of synths, go up to the second floor and inspect the premises. In one of the rooms you can stumble upon traps, so be careful, but going deeper into the same room, you will find a safe and a laboratory terminal. You can hack the terminal and use it to deactivate the lock of the safe or crack the lock of the safe right away. Both the terminal and the lock of the safe are of a difficult level. You decide.

Hear the sounds of shots, running to the aid of Dans on the stairs to the second floor.

prompt

As soon as you go up the stairs, you will find yourself in the director's office. There, near the terminal, the director is waiting for you. magazine "Tesla Science", which will unlock another magazine perk for you. It gives you the following - energy weapons deal 5% more critical damage. Full list magazine perks can be viewed.

Turrets can be disabled using the terminal in the office opposite the director's office (where there is a lot of computer equipment) or simply destroy them.

Follow Paladin Dance

After leaving the director's office into the corridor, turn right - you see the descent. Below is a safe with ammunition and some weapons.

After examining all the rooms on the second floor, go to the opposite end of the corridor from where you came up here - there is another descent. It will take you to a small room with a refrigerator, where Quantum Yader-Cola is waiting for you. Not a bad gift. And in the reception area, to the left of the broken elevator, there is another safe with ammunition (the level of the lock is medium). By the way, it's on the floor between the tables.

From here we go down the stairs and get into the core of the Arkjet engine.

The transmitter you're looking for should be in the control center at the top of the core, but no problem, none of the elevators are working due to lack of power.

Restore back-up power to the engine core

We go down and enter the only door. In the first room, you will find a wonderful trophy for yourself, namely, the Hlamothron.

Help: Hlamothron

And in the next room you will find the supply department terminal (the level is easy). Hack it and turn on the backup generators.

Here you will also find a nuclear block for power armor.

Start engine (optional)

Paladin Danse was attacked by synths, lots of synths. Help him and shoot them with your brand new junkgun, or whatever you prefer. However, if you want to see an impressive fire show, then start the engine and they will all turn into ashes.

It is triggered by the red button located in the room where you found the junk torch. Click on it, but be sure to close the doors to this room, otherwise you will burn yourself when the engine starts.

Get to the control center

The power is restored, the synths are killed, now you can use the elevator and go up to the control center.

Clear the control center

The control center is also filled with synths, help the paladin destroy them all.

Pick up shortwave transmitter

Search the dead synths, as, apparently, they came for the same thing as you. At one of them you will find what you are looking for.

Leave Arkjet Systems

Before you leave Arkjet Systems, go back to the elevator. From the upper level, you can jump down to the middle level, which you can't get to otherwise.

There are two small rooms in which you can find something interesting. But be prepared to be attacked by a couple of synths. After killing them, collect trophies. In one room you will find your favorite portable nuclear grenade launcher - Fat Man.

Help: Fat Man

Damage: 468

Ammunition: nuclear minicharge

Rate of fire: 1

Range: 117

Accuracy: 63

Weight: 30,7

Price: 512

Description: Used to launch a devastating mini-nuke, the Fat Man boasts unmatched damage output. Once launched, the mini-nuke quickly loses altitude, so aim just above your target or use the V.A.T.S. accurate shot. In any case, make sure you're at a safe distance from your target - the mini-nuke has a pretty good range.

And in another room, the project manager's terminal and a safe. Both are very difficult to hack. If you have enough level, you can hack them. However, there is an easier way. In the upper locker above the safe, you will find the password for the terminal, with it you will unlock the terminal and deactivate the lock of the safe. And everything is your content.

Now you can go to the exit from this building.

Talk to Paladin Danse

Finally, talk to Danse.

Charisma

You can practice charisma and ask how the operation went (medium persuasion). Get a couple of compliments on your address.

To join the Brotherhood of Steel, give paladin Danse a shortwave transmitter, and in return receive a reward from him - his personal modification of the Brotherhood's standard laser carbine - the Righteous Sovereign.

Hello! In this guide, we will look at the mechanics of hacking computer terminals in Fallout 4 and understand it. FROM system requirements Fallout 4 you also . Let's start with the theoretical part. An illustrated example of a hack will follow, so that you have no difficulty in understanding its mechanics.

So, in the game you can meet computer terminals of different levels. The higher the level of the terminal, the more difficult it will be to hack, but the more valuable, as a rule, the reward behind the door that it blocks. You can find these terminals while exploring the world of Fallout 4. They look like this (to the left of the terminal in the screenshot is the door blocked by it):

Computer terminal in Fallout 4

How are terminal levels different in Fallout 4?

The essence of hacking these terminals is a simple selection of passwords from the words offered to us. All it takes is a few tries. If you have spent all the attempts, but have not found the desired combination, the terminal will be blocked for 1 minute, after which you can try again. You can, for example, not press the download after an unsuccessful hack, but simply after 3 unsuccessful attempts to exit the terminal and re-enter, and not wait a minute. For example, my computer works quickly and in case of failure, I do not wait one minute, but simply load the save using the F9 key. There is a way to restore the number of spent attempts. It consists in the search for secret combinations of symbols. Read more about this below.

Depending on the level of the terminal (easy, medium, difficult, very difficult), you will be offered a choice of words of a certain length. For easy, these are words of 4 letters, for the average of 6, and so on. At first, you can only hack terminals easy level difficulties. To hack terminals of higher levels, you will need to learn the Hacker perk, the first level of which is available at INT = 4.

How to hack terminals in Fallout 4?

Having opened the terminal, we will see a wall of text in which normal English words mixed with different characters like "!" or "%". We are only interested in symbols if we want to restore a couple of "lives" spent on the wrong selection. keyword. Our main task is to choose one right word from all the proposed ones. Words can wrap from the end of one line to the beginning of another, as in the example in the screenshot below:

Password guessing in Fallout 4

This is a lightweight terminal, the number of password guessing attempts = 4 (Tries left: ? ? ? ?). The first word will have to be chosen at random, after which the computer will tell us how many letters in the selected word match the letters in the correct word (both the letters themselves and their position in the word).

Let's say the correct word is W OULD, and we chose for the first time W RITE. One attempt will be taken away from us (3 will remain) and the computer will write to us that the number of matches = 1. This means that in the selected word WRITE only 1 letter is correct and has the correct location in the correct word. In our case, this is the letter W. Next, in a logical way, we try to select words and calculate the correct one. Consider an example.

Sets of secret combinations of symbols in Fallout 4

So, as we said earlier, it is possible to restore the number of spent attempts or remove incorrect passwords from the terminal screen. In one hacking session, you can restore "life" only 4 times.

On the terminal, among the garbage of various characters, we must look for various character combinations enclosed in brackets. Bracket options: (), ,<>or (). If you move the mouse over the opening bracket, the entire combination will be highlighted. Thus, you can simply run the mouse from top to bottom and catch these secret sets:

A set of secret character combinations in Fallout 4

These secret combinations are randomly generated at the beginning of a hack. Therefore, you may not find combinations that restore the number of attempts, but only combinations that remove incorrect words.

You should also remember that choosing the wrong character is punished in the same way as choosing the wrong word - minus one attempt.

An example of terminal hacking in Fallout 4

So, we met a wall terminal in the game that blocks the door and chose it for hacking. He offered us the codes from the screenshot below for selection.

1) Choose the first word at random. In this case, I chose DUNES. The computer replied: “Entrance denied. Similarity = 0". This means that in the correct word the letter D(if any) - not the first, U not the second and so on.

2) We look for and select the second word in which none of the letters matches the word DUNES. I chose RIGID.

The computer replied that "Affinity = 1". This means that one letter from the word RIGID is correct and is in the same place as in the right word. At the same time, I excluded the positions of the letters of the previous word - DUNES - in the desired word.

3) We continue the selection - we have only 2 attempts left. The next word I chose RELAY. Since the letter R from R IGID is also in the first position in this word, and the rest of the letters do not match at all. There are also no matches with the letters from the word DUNES.

And voila — the word RELAY came up and the door opened.

It remains only to pick up the loot! I wish everyone Have a nice game and happy hacking!
